Sarah Gojgla 46 Mia 8:30 AM Morning came the next day after the concert in Aurius. The avians outside tweeting away to each other. The sun shone brightly in the sky and through a window of a room where a dull red thill slept peacefully. However her beauty sleep was disturbed by a avian flying by the open window. It was a little avian, almost silent, but she had a massive hangover. The slightest sound would hurt her head. She sat up in the bed to notice that she wasn't at home. The bed sheets were white instead of red. The room was not like hers. "Where am I." Where was she, she didn't know and she was the only one in the bed. Noticing a dressing gown, she sprung out of the bed and put it on. She walked to the door, reaching her hand to open it. She walked out, lightly and silently closing the door. She heard noice coming from downstairs. She took each step carefully down the stairwell, hoping not make too much sound. She got to the bottom and turned left, walking through the living room eventually getting to kitchen. She could smell toast with a side of egg. She got to the kitchen and saw an ardan cooking.
Veti was cooking, even though he hasn’t had any cooking training before, he made a good breakfast. He then noticed Sarah was up and looking at him. “I should have given you something less potent… glad to see you’re up." said Veti. He grabbed a purple vial and hand it to her. “Here this will help you with your hangover." He finished cooking breakfast and placed it on a wooden table.
Sarah was a tad shocked to see that Veti was the ardan. She wasn't objective, but it was suprising. She could remember what happened last night to the time she had that drink. A thought cam to her head. "We didn't...do it, did we?" She was in mild shock at the thought. She had that inner feeling that they did. Seeing Veti handing her a veil, she took it, opened it and drank the liquid. It helped alot, her head cleared up like that. "Thanks." The smell of breakfast was tingling her nose. She was hungry afterall.
Shaking his head after hearing that and finally replied. “No, you were knocked out." Veti fixed a plate for her and placed it on the table. He sat down and started to eat. This was the first for Veti, feeling uncertain, nervous for having someone over his house, especially a thill.
Sarah was relieved. She thought they did it, but no. "Thank Dymikca." The plate of food on the table was prepared. Sarah sat down at the table. She felt nervous, because of waking up in someone elses house, and was well, calm. "Um, what time is it?"
Veti still feeling uneasy, looked up and said. “Thank… Dymikca?" He just smiled and looked out the window and replied. “It’s around eight thirty-ish in the morning." He then went back to his plate and continued to eat.
Sarah sat down at the table with breakfast set in front of her. "This is a first. Having breakfast in some elses house," she giggled. She was a bit uneasy about it, but didn't put to much mind to it. Instead, she ate. When she looked at Veti, she saw uneasiness, too. "Mabye, when I'm done eating, I'll leave. You look nervous about me being here."
Veti gazed at Sarah and looked down. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean… I didn’t mean to leave, it’s just… just the first time I ever had anyone over. You can stay, unless you want to leave?" said Veti. Veti finished his plate and took it to the sink. He went into the living room and thought. Hmmm. I wish she can stay, so we can try to know each other a little better. Veti went over to the bookcase and searched through it for a nice book.
Sarah looked troubled by Veti's misunderstanding. She thought he wanted her to leave, but no. "Oh." Seeing Veti get up, Sarah starting eating the rest of the breakfast. She picked up the plate and put it in the sink. She then walked out of the kitchen and into the living room and saw Veti at the bookcase. "Veti, me outsides tell to leave, but on the inside, it's telling me to know more about you."
Veti grabbed a book off the shelf and looked at Sarah. “This is my favorite book and I guess a song of knowledge needs to be played." Veti smiled. He offered the couch for her to take a seat.
Sarah sat on the offered couch that Veti offered. His words confused her. "What is this book and song of knowledge?"
Veti couldn’t help but laughed. “What I meant a song had to be played was that some truth has to be spilled into an empty glass. As for the book this is a book of all the songs that…" He paused and was stuck in his mind pondering over the thought.
Sarah looked at Veti with a confused look. As Veti paused his talking, she wanted to know what he meant about the book. "That...?"
Veti shook his head and heard her question. “Oh, sorry. The book is about some song that my mother played." Veti just paused and made no sign of life after what he said.
Veti looked at Sarah. “She had many songs, but my favorite is ‘Hold on to my Heart’. It always soothed my heart." said Veti with a smile, but in his eye was a tear. Veti quickly intercepted the tear and hide his face for a moment away from Sarah hoping she didn’t see it.
Sarah knew that song when she was young. "Oh yeah, I know that song. I liked it. Um, what was your mother's name?"
