Timestamp: Day 50 Tessera (Autumn), 81379 Character: Vac Time of Day: 9:30am Vac lets out a curse, and pulls off his shirt. He has found a perfect spot, that is out of the way to find, new specimans. He has found only one problem, to get down to the water, he has to break through, a rotted out den. He checked it out first, to discover that the owner, was no longer alive. He carefully collected the body, and wrapped it up, and placed it in his bag. He continues to diligently work, his way though the wood. He is finally, getting closer to reaching the water.
ooc: Introducing Vex, sister of Peiruh -------- Peiruh linked arms with her sister as she trekked through the muddy forest. Her happy giggles relating the story of how she had met Vachilus. Her hair had been pulled up but in a previous play fight had been eagerly pulled down. Slipping from her sisters arms she spotted Vac and whistled sharply to get his attention. I have someone I want you to meet. She looked apprehensively at her sister, praying it would all work out. Vex giggled just as much as her baby sister except for to her this was all one big act. She didn't like that guy already. He had inadvertently dragged Peiruh into the forest, and forests had flowers and Peru already liked flowers to much...he was reinforcing her love for those wretched things. As her sibling left her side, he cold pink eyes glared down at the arden that had stolen her sisters heart. Last time she had killed the fool that Peiruh had loved, and of course Peir had believed it was all an accident. The same thing would happen this time and she ran her tongue over her teeth in happy anticipation.
He stopped working at Peiruh's sharp whistle, and quickly pulled his shirt back on. He turns and smiles when he see's Peiruh, and keeps the smile pasted on when he notices, the other female dragon, who doesn't look anything like her but, is obviosly her sister. He takes a step forward, and plants a quick kiss on Peiruh's cheek. "Hello Peru, this must be your sister." He carefully extends a hand, and says,"I am Vachilius, you must be Vex. Tis nice to finally meet you."
Peiruh smiled gingerly at the kiss, wishing he hadn't done it but still somehow glad that he did. Grabbing her tail nervously she nodded toward the albino looking female and grinned. This is my sister Vex Mirkjin but you can call her Vex. She stepped between the two, trying to put a barricade just in case. Vex watched him with disapproving eyes, her tongue jabbing between her teeth like a toothpick. As he extended his hand she looked at it, then him and it again, as if uncertain what to. Well not uncertain, just plain rude. I didn't really want to meet. I don't like you. I wish you would leave my sister alone. She doesn't need you. And you don't deserve her. Her face remained stone hard, and she ran one wickedly sharp talon from one shoulder to the other. I prefer to gut you horizontally but if you wish I can do vertical.
He let out a laugh. He turns to Peru, and says,"Well, your description of her was dead on." He looks Vex up and down. "Well, Vex I had already guessed that you wouldn't like me, as for your leaving your sister alone. Ofcourse but, only if that is her wish. and so far to the best of my knowledge, that is not her wish. Perhaps you are right about me not deserving her but, I feel quite fortunate, that I did meet her." He pushed her talon away. "Perhaps, your need to gut something should be used on something, already dead."
Peiruh's eyes widened and she clasped her hands over Vac's mouth. Of course she knew that Vex hadn't killed her last love on accident and she didn't want Vac dead. Whispering in his ear she pleaded with him. Just don't talk please. But she knew he had already put gasoline to the fire. Vex's eyes burned and her chained heart tattoo glowed red in fury. Woo buddy you got the wrong biotch. Don't tell me what to do. She shoved him hard and then looked at Peru, not really caring what her sister would say or do. Grabbing Vac by the arm and giving her baby sis a stare that said stay, she dragged him aside and talked to him. Listen to me...she doesn't need no ones love but mine. She doesn't need you she just doesnt know that. Now go. I don't like you. So you can't be in this family. I killed her last boyfriend and I'll kill you too.
Vac looks at her with an odd look in his eye. He leans against the tree. "She doesn't need anyones love but, yours. Well, then I have a question for you." He pauses, and thinks for a moment. "Perhaps, you aren't ready for such a question at this time. As for leaving, I will not be leaving until, as I have already said, it is her wish. I understand the fact that you do not like me but, it is not your descision." He walks to stand over bye Peiruh. "Sorry hun but, I will not just stand to the side and let your sister push me around."
Peiruh couldn't watch this much longer, turning her sister around, she scoffed the ground shyly but spoke up incredibly bold. Vex please. You already stole one away from me, why would you want to hurt me if you love me? Leave him alone, I didn't come to get your approval you know. I just...I don't know, I guess I was just dreaming. She sighed unhappily and went to wrap her arms around Vac's waist. She kissed his cheek and then nodded, understanding his attitude toward Vex. ------- The wicked wench looked at the arden leave and she wanted to slash his throat then and there. But Peiruh would probably die if she did that. As her baby sister came to confront her she looked down, shook her head and growled. Yea you were dreaming...big time. I'm not hurting you, well maybe I am, but I'm protecting you. Trust me...its for your good. She moved away from the two, wading into the water, and splashing at it angrily.
Vac looks down at Peiruh, and sighs. He can't stand to see the look on her face. He carefully moves toward, Vex. In a quiet voice,"Vex, things do get better. Just sometimes it takes longer for some of us then others. You and Peiruh both, have the right to be happy. Do you realize that you are practically ripping out her heart, whenever you threaten me?" He very carefully keeps his distance. He is a little more prepared than, she probably realizes.
Vex growled deeply, and shoved his chest. Grinning, she rose on her toes and whispered in his ear temptingly. You know what I wanna rip out? Your balls...assuming you have some, now piss off. She moved away, drifting from him toward a tree and hoisting herself in to its branches Peiruh watched and hugged herself in dismay. Come on Vac...Vex is being a lil wench. She didn't ordinary name call but for her sister she could make an exception. Grabbing his hand she pulled him away, her face downcast and her dreams dashed. I'm sorry about Vex and this whole retarded idea...I knew it would work but I... She sighed heavily and looked back at Vex, her bangs and hair fluttering angrily in the air.
He looks at Vex, up in the tree, and just shakes his head. He looks down at Peiruh, and puts an arm around her. "Relax hun, you can only hope for the best. All that matters is that you and I are happy." He smiles and whispers,"I believe that she is just jealous is all, and perhaps one of these days, she will meet someone who is as, cranky as she is. And maybe he will somehow sweep her off her feet."
She laughed, though quickly tried to stifly it, as he described her sister. I love Vex very much...she is the only real family member I have. But...she's so difficult. Maybe your right...and I hope you are. She needs someone who can deal with her. Peru leaned into him, and licked her chapped lips. Eventually she'll have no choice but to warm up to you. Peiruh's eyes wondered to her sister who had leapt from the tree and flown off to heaven knows where. She figured it was probably back home, since the Port was Vex's hunting ground.
He watched Vex fly off. "I am sure that, it will happen eventually." He smiles, and looks down at her, and kisses her. He breaks the kiss, and runs a finger over face. "I wanted to do that, when she was here but, for your sake I waited."
She looked up at the man who, in her eyes, sacrificed so much. Thank you. She twined her fingers with his and thumped her tail playfully on the ground. So what's next? She grinned happily at him, not finding the words able to describe him.
He looks down into her eyes, and smiles. He thinks for a moment. "I have no idea. I had all the new specimans that I need, at this point of time." He pulls off his shirt, and pulls his hair down. "Much better."
I would have to agree. She bent her needs and jumped into the air, hovering above him. Well we have a whole day we can't just waste it...we should do..something. She flew higher only because staying so low with such weak air currents was difficult, and though she flew often, her wings weren't that powerful.
