Nafel and Nurano lounged in the Common Room of the Janardian Dorms. Or, at least, the one that Nafel resided in. Nurano had popped in for a visit, as Nafel was feeling slightly ill. They were playing a game of Khatt, with Nurano winning. It was his sort of game, as his Trade revolved around being sneaky and thinking ahead.

He moved his final piece, winning the game. "I win again!" He smiled, setting the board back up. Nafel simply grumbled something goodnaturedly. They were a happy couple, Nafel covered in a blanket and sitting on a pillow.

Absentmindedly, Nurano tucked a strand of Nafel's silver spike-like hair out of her eyes, his brown ones locking with her multi-colored pupils for just a moment. She smiled, nesting a head on her paws. She decided to break the silence.

"So, what has the mysterious Nurano been up to as of late? Found anything interesting around here?"

He shook his head, sighing. "Nope. The oh-so-mysterious Nurano has been stydying. A lot. I wouldn't mind snooping around here, though. They say there are some weird things in these dorms. Up for an adventure?"

Nafel stretched languidly. "Not really. But, that doesn't mean I won't go. There's nothing else to do, except play another predetermined game of Khatt with you. Let's go."

Nurano looked around. "I wonder if there's anybody around here who'd like to come with us? That might make it more interesting..."</font>

    BIC:
Eka had been just about to leave the dorms, where she had been reading in a corner. When she heard two other ‘dragons talking. She wasn’t very found of reading any way, so she went over to see what they were talking about.

She reconsider the female voice of Nafel. Who she had gone to a Ramathian class with before. She didn’t know the other.
<span style='color:009900'>“Hello Nafel, and hello to you too."</span>

Eka like to be friendly to everyone even if she didn’t know who they were. She looked down at the table with her green eyes, and saw that they had a game going on. She knew it was Khatt but didn’t know how to play. So she asked the question everyone asked when looking at a game.
    <span style='color:009900'>“So, who’s winning?</span>

Eka looked back up. She had only heared the last few sentences that they had been saying. Some thing about snooping around and looking for someone who would go with them.
<span style='color:009900'>“I’d love to go on an adventure with you. So where you going any way?"</span>

Eka knew that she was intruding on them but that was the way she was, always wanting to do some thing. She smiled at both of them.</font>

  3. <font color='#000080'>Nafel grinned at the little 'dragon that she recognized from her Ramathian lessons. "'Ello Eka!" She looked at Nurano. "This is Eka, I have her in Ramathian with me."

Nurano grinned at the young 'dragon. "Nice to meet you, Eka! I'm Nurano. As for who's winning..." he stopped talking as Nafel had thrown a pillow at his head. Pulling it off and using it as a shield, he continued. "I already won. Nafel's a little bitter about losing." Nafel laughed.

The turquoise femme spoke up before her mate could further tarnish her name. "We were thinking about exploring the dorms, since people say there is some weird stuff in here. Nurano's a Spy, so he's good at that sort of thing." She sighed. "That also makes him good at Khatt, unfortunately. Do you want to come with us? We were going to look for a 'dragon or two to come." She smiled at the smaller 'dragon, waiting for a reply.</font>

  4. <font color='#000080'>Eka laughed at the two and there little pillow fight.
<span style='color:009900'>“It’s nice too meet you too Nurano. I’m sure you’ll beat him some day Nafel. But I couldn’t say I could, I have no idea how to play. To much thinking and sitting to do with my time."</span>

Eka thought about exploring the dorms. Her head was full of  weird things that could be anywhere. It didnÂ’t frighten her thought. It made her want to go even more.
<span style='color:009900'>“I’d love to go with you! I don’t know any one else who would want to come. My sis sticks to the rules too much so she won’t go. Well she wouldn’t want me to go either, so you won’t tell her will you?"</span>

She didnÂ’t thing that they would. They didnÂ’t even know her sister for all she knew. And she didnÂ’t know too many other ‘dragons. She didnÂ’t really care if she got in trouble with the school only if her sister found out. She decided not to think of it any more.
<span style='color:009900'>“So, a spy eh. I bet you know this whole school inside out by now. But any way, where are we going first? Up, down, any where go with me.</span>

Eka was just being a little sarcastic with Nurano. Wanting to see what he say.</font>

  5. <font color='#000080'>Nurano smiled at the impudent young 'dragon. "I don't think we know your sister..." He looked at Nafel for conformation, she nodded. "Nafel aggrees. As for knowing the school inside and out... Hardly. This place is huge, and there are a lot of parts of it I've never been to."

He grinned at Nafel. "I've only been to the musical wing a few times, and I can't make my way around there without Nafel's help. But I can make myself look like a practiced musician, who knows where I'm going. That's what being a spy's about." He grinned at the little 'dragon, who he was sure probably idn't really care about his speech.

Nafel held back a chuckle, so as to not offend the smaller 'dragon. "How about we go to the attic space? I've always wondered what was up there. Maybe we could go look at some of the dorms no one uses, that would be interesting."</font>

  6. <font color='#000080'>Eka was happy to know that they didnÂ’t know her sister but then again her sister wasnÂ’t to social in the first place.
<span style='color:009900'>“Ya I guess your right. There are probably secret passages all over the place. The only ones who know them all are the makers. Who are probably dead."</span>
Eka shrugged. She began to think about all the short cuts she could take to get to her classes faster. She  always seemed to be late.
<span style='color:009900'>“Oh yes you are a musician right, Nafel?"</span> She said to Nafel then turned back too Nurano. <span style='color:009900'>“So then, if you aren’t a musician what is your other trade beside being a spy?"</span>
She turned back to Nafel nodding agreeing with going up to the attic.
<span style='color:009900'>“Ya, that’s sound great. I wonder if any old students left any thing up there. "</span></font>

  7. <font color='#000080'>Nafel grinned at the small 'dragon's comment about 'The Makers'. "Yes, dearheart, they're all most definately dead. It was a long time ago, and most 'dragons don't live past 7000."

Nurano spoke up again. "My secondary trade is Elemental Magic. As for Nafel's music... she's going to switch trades, between primary and secondary, but the paper work is taking a little bit of time." It was supposed to have been done a few days ago, but it had gotten lost in transit. It was amazing how so little of a thing had escalated into so big of a headache!</font>

  8. <font color='#000080'>Eka looked up at Nafel. She had a “IÂ’m not that much of a kid" look on her face after being called “dearheart". Only her mother called her that. But then again she was still young and childish so she just smiled.
<span style='color:009900'>“Ya it’s to bad. They would probably have lots to say about this place. Oh so you found a bigger interest in magic that’s cool. Those people who deal with the paper work always seem to lose that stuff. I think they just want more attention.</span>
Eka stood up and looked around the dorm. There were a few other ‘dragons there but know she knew.
<span style='color:009900'>“So then are we going to get going? Or do you want to wait for some one else to come along?"</span></font>

  9. <font color='#000080'>Nurano laughed silently at the youngling's offense to being called 'dearheart'. Since he seemed to be the leader of the expedition, he spoke. "Well, let's see. There's an older level of dorms in the top of this building, no one uses them any more. I think Nafel knows how to get there," He looked and she nodded "so we should be able to find it. Do you want to go there?"

Nafel nodded and pointed. "It's over there. I know how to get up there, I think. I think it's a good idea."</font>

  10. <font color='#000080'>Eka nodded as well.
    <span style='color:009900'>“Sounds good to me."</span>
She turned to where they had pointed too and took a few steps forward. She then turned her head so she could see them.
<span style='color:009900'>“So, what do you guys think is up there?"</span>
She asked hoping too get more of and idea of what might actually be up there. She didnÂ’t have much experience around the most of the school. She still kinda consider herself new.</font>

  11. <font color='#000080'>Nafel thought for a moment about what was reputed to be up in the dorms. "Lessee... I think there's supposed to be a level of old dorms, and an attic. I'm thinking our best bet would be the old dorms. They're not locked, at least the ones currently in use aren't. They don't think students should have to much privacy. Let's head out!"

With that she began to walk towards the steps, Nurano following behind her. As the reached the top of the steps, the saw they were at the level of old dorms.

Nafel looked and saw a sign with the words "Dorms 100-145 --> Dorms 146-200 <--" printed on it. She decided to go down the 100-145 hallway, and Nurano followed her. "Hey Eka, why don't you pick which room to go to?"</font>

  12. <font color='#000080'>Eka had to quicken her pace to keep up to the pair. She took 3 steps for one of theirs. It was the only problem she found for being so small. When she go to the top she started to think of which room to go in.
    <span style='color:009900'>“How about room 109, it’s not that far down."</span>
She had chosen the number because of her age; 10, and her hatchery day on the 9th . She went up ahead to the door she gave a quick look back then gave the door a small push with her tiny paw. She knew that they would be unlocked but she didnÂ’t think it would be this easy. She decided she would like to do this more often.
The door slowly creaked open. It hadnÂ’t been used for quit a few years now. She turned back once more and called.
      <span style='color:009900'>“You coming!"</span>
She smile and jumped in the room.</font>

  13. <font color='#000080'>Nafel nodded and headed in, with Nurano walking close behind her. Nafel sneezed at the dust in the long-disused dorm. The place really needed a new cleaning, but she figured it cost too much money to keep it up if no one was going to live here.

"Wow, they really need to clean in here! Achoo!" Nafel sneezed again, blinking her eyes to adjust them to the light, she looked to the left and saw an old bed, minus the sheets, and a small dresser.

It was a pretty thing, small, but with nicely ornate carving on the sides and pretty metal pulls. She wondered who had used it long ago. This looked to be a double student room, for two dragons, but she couldn't tell.

"I wonder what's inside the dreser? Do you want to look, Eka?"</font>

  14. <font color='#000080'>Eka stood there getting used to the dark. But before she could say any thing she was hit with a few sneezes from the dust. She wrinkled her nose and blinked a few times.
    <span style='color:009900'>“Yes, cleaning would be a good idea."</span>
She walk over the dresser. She blew some dust off the top, which she realized was a bad idea for it all went in her face, then went and grabbed one of the handles. She gave a quick pull but it was stuck.
I knew it wouldnÂ’t be this easy She thought to herself. She tried again but no luck. Her small size was not enough for this dresser.
    <span style='color:009900'>“I think I might need some help here."</span>
She said not too happy about it.</font>

  15. <font color='#000080'>Nurano sauntered over to the dresser next to Eka and looked at it. "Hm... locked. You can see the key-hole at the top. But..." he closed his eyes, his features went slack, and a click came from the dresser. "I'm able to fix it. Try to open it now."

Nafel, however, was looking around the bed. Poking her snout under it, she found nothing that looked very intersting. She wandered over to Nurano and Eka. "Got anything?"</font>

  16. <font color='#000080'>Eka started wined eyed at what Nurano had just done.
<span style='color:009900'>“That’s so cool. Did the teach you that in spy school or something?"</span>

She then quickly went to pull open the drawer. It still was a little hard to pull from not being open for so long but it open never the less. She started to rummage thought it.
She found a few spare sheets and blankets for the room but nothing caught her eye. But then her hand came to something not as soft as blankets.
She started to pull it out. When she was able to see it she could tell it was some sort of small wooden box. She placed it on the ground with a clunk. She gave it a little shake and could here some things moving around on the inside.
    <span style='color:009900'>“Aye, aye captain. I think we got something here. I wonder what’s inside"</span>

Eka looked around the box carefully, there were a few designs craved into it. If it meant any thing she didn’t understand it.</font>

  17. <font color='#000080'>Nurano chuckled at Eka's "Spy School" comment. "Nope, I learned this trick from me ma when I was younger. She and my da are members of the less proper trades, if you catch my drift. LockPick and Spy. I'm from Bhim. Let's see about this box..." He began to look at it to find the catch, muttering to himself.

Nafel, tiring of exploring under the bed, looked up and walked to the other two 'dragons. Peering over at the box, she noticed the designs. "Hey... that looks like Ramathian. My teacher had us write down the alphabet, but I don't have it memorized. It's probably a name tag or family heirloom box. Open it, Nurano!"

Nurano obliged, and the stubborn wooden box opened. Inside, they found more carvings on the lid and a small ebony stone. Also included was a necklace of the same stone, and a different set in Amethest and a third set in Amber. Raising his "eyebrows" Nurano looked at his magickly inclined mate. "Know what these are? I think they're magic, they feel like it, ya know?"

Nafel nodded an affermative and looked at each of the stones. Finally, she picked up the black stone and necklace, donned the latter and gave the former to Nurano. "Try walking down the hall, I want to see something." Nurano obliged. Nafel furrowed her brow, and looked to be concentrating. A small hawk cry was heard. "Thought so." Louder, she called down the hall. "You can come back." After Nurano entered the room she spoke. "They look to be tracking devices. I could tell where you were, but it was like we were joined. I guess that's why there's two of each stone, three sets of them."

Nurano nodded. "However, I couldn't tell where you were. Not very strong, I guess. Or useful as gifts to an enemy. Give them a necklacae, and you know where they are, but they don't know where you are. However, what should we do with them?" He looked to Eka for her response.</font>

  18. <font color='#000080'>Eka nodded.
    <span style='color:009900'>“Ya I think you right about the Ramathian."</span>

She could also feel the magic from the stones. She looked at them, thinking.
<span style='color:009900'>“That’s pretty cool. They could probably come in handy if you could get the other person to wear it. I think this room must had been used by a few friends or many sisters or bothers who all had a set."</span>

Eka picked up the other set and looked at it. She thought they looked like they could be wroth quit a bit. Even though she wasn’t intersected in selling them.
<span style='color:009900'>“I say we keep them, a set each. Unless you want to leave them here. Either that or we find out what it say’s on the box and see if who ever owned it is still alive. Maybe there are some records of the ‘dragon who stade here. Maybe they left it for other generation to find. It could be a whole new adventure."</span>

Eka started to think of what would have done with these stones.</font>

  19. <font color='#000080'>Nafel nodded. "Yeah, I bet this place was shared by friends or siblings. Since none of us can read this box, I guess, why don't we take it to the Ramathian teacher, and keep the stones. I don't think we'd be very popular if it was discovered we had them. If the 'dragon is still alive, we give them back, as well as the box. Maybe they forgot it in packing or something. How 'bout I keep the box in my pouch thing, we all keep a set of the stones, and we head downstairs or two some more dorms."

She looked at Eka, holding out the necklaces in one paw and laying the stones on the floor. "Which one do you want? I don't think it really matters as far as their effectiveness, other than your color/stone preference." She smiled and waited for the younger 'dragon to make a choice.</font>

  20. <font color='#000080'>Eka started to think looking at the stones. They were all very pretty but finally came to a decisions.
     <span style='color:009900'>“IÂ’ll take this one."</span>

She said and picked up the Amethest one. She then kept thinking.
<span style='color:009900'>“If we do take it the Ramathian teacher won’t we need a cover story? You know she might want to know where it came from and she might not be to happy if we told her we took it from one of the droms."</span>

Her smile started to fade from her face but when asked if you wanted to look in another room it came back fast.
    <span style='color:009900'>“Ya, maybe just one more."</span>

She may have said just one more but she meant more.</font>
