It was hidden beneath the surface, the blank slate that was the metaphor of her memory. If she closed her eyes, a fleeting image of the bustling city that once-was flashed against her eyelids. Whatever the significance of the pull, whether good or bad, the Machina Ruins had become her sanctuary, her haven. She lay sprawled on the ground, a side of her black-furred form leaning against one of the sturdier piles of rubble. Next to her a thing of fire spun, dancing along the ground in a bright fury, though it didn't set anything ablaze. Syk, she spoke to it with her mind, her thought-voice sounding as if she were a child consulting a parent, why can't I remember? What happened here? Her elemental companion didn't respond, as it so often wouldn't, but continued to spin in its patternless frenzy. Finally, though, the flame-thing came and settled near her paw casting light against the darkness of her body, spreading warmth through the 'dragon who had become so cold. Am I not meant to know? she murmurred idly in her thought-voice. The fire-creature sent an emotion to her, almost amused. Najavyz Txa'llon, you are so old and yet so young. She scowled.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>hey im gunna use rluknyym hes a vampire and heres his profile http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=420http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=420</a></td></tr></table> a dark blue male walked through the riuns he had visited so often. he hadn't been to the dark and dusty riuns latly. last time he had been here he had been with his frist love. he winced at the memory raising is hood to cover his face as he walks across a hole in the cieling above him. the allergie to light use to be a mere annoiance. now it had grown. his white eyes peared out from under the hood. he kept it raised even after reentering the shadows. he looked at the cieling. he was right under where he had been when he had biten her. rluknyym was young. but at the age of 20 he had the appearance and the strength of someone older then himself. his ears perked. he sensed someone... he sniffed the air. his vampiric senses coming in very handy. he could smell another being in this place. he brought out his sword just incase he needed to use it. he rounded a coner very cafuly and heard someone breathing. "hello?"
The voice startled her, but at once she became more alert; flattened ears rose toward the direction of the sound, though whoever had made it was not in immediate sight. The fact that he could see her but she could not see him unsettled her, setting her nerves on edge. For the moment she remained still and unspeaking, focusing her magic on the flame-thing, Syk, giving it more substantiality. It now flickered on four legs, almost as large as she was, with gaping black holes where eyes might have been and long, flaming teeth that were more for show than anything. She stood, and her summoned minion spun in a frenzy beside her. A gap in the crumbling wall she had been leaning against opened into an abandoned building, and seemed the most reasonable place for someone to be. She eyed the inside of the building for quite some time before sending Syk in before her. He would light up the place, allowing her to see who or whatever was inside. Carefully, she slipped in after him, taking care to stay close to the fire-minion and yet still behind - summoning had tired her slightly, and if something should happen she wanted that great flaming thing between her and what might be a predator. But what met her eyes was a hooded 'dragon and nothing more, though a blue-furred paw had emerged from the depths of his cloak, a long sword clutched in his grasp. Eying him warily, Naja' shuffled slightly closer to Syk before responding softly, "Hello."
his eyes moved over her qucikly measuring her threat. at last he reseathed his sword. his dark blue paw moved to his hood pulling it back and revealing a smiling face. his long white fangs showing. she didn't seem the type to fight. he looked at the fire ceature... he had no idea what exactly it was. she choose to ignore it. it was obvious that she was a summoner. not many others would be in the presents of something like that. "hello. sorry about scarin' ya... i just had to make sure you weren't gunna jump out and attack me... " he gave another kind smile his eyes filled with a warmth you wouldn't expect from soemthing that had looked so cold and creepy not two minuets ago. "you know you gave me quite a scare" he said to the flameing thing standing before him. [OOC]sorry bout the spelling errors been up sence 4:33am its now 11:05 pm
Syk gave off sort of a bubbling hiss at the male, like water being poured over a hot stove, and the thing shrank slightly as the black-furred female took back some of the magic the elemental contained. She remained wary, however, of the male 'dragon before her - he did, indeed, seem warmer, but something about him made her uneasy. The fangs. A vampdragon? She supressed a shudder and forced herself to remain relatively friendly and polite. "And I apologize for scaring you as well, sir; my reason is the same." She shifted her weight, uncertain of what else she should say or do. This was her first contact with anyone other than Syk and several of her other minions in quite some time. Her own species constantly made her uncomfortable, some more than others. As of late she had been spending more time with the creatures she was capable of summoning, or at least the elementals that she could keep under control. Hooking a paw around Syk, she pulled her summoned elemental closer to her, more for the comfort of having something warm there next to her than anything else. She wasn't cold, of course, as it was summer, but the fire-thing's warmth gave her a sense of security and familiarity. Silver eyes strayed on the blue male before her, waiting for whatever would be said next. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>No problem, dear. Rluknyym threw his head back and laughed at her words. his laughs echos through the halls. until they finally quieted down enough for him to say, "please miss im definetly not a sir, the names rluknyym" being his goofy self he bowed. then returned to standing. he chuckled once more and muttered "sir" he shook his head smiling then continued "so, if i may inquire, what would bring such a lovly young lady such as yourself down here." he could tell his fangs made her uneay so his smiles were kept to small closed mouth smiles.
She shivered slightly at the echos of his laugh, though it wasn't so much that he frightened her than he made her nervous. After being in solitude so long, Najavyz was unused to the . . . uniqueness of some of her species. The boldness. She, herself, was shy as vokc. Tilting her head slightly as he spoke, she gave him a small smile with Syk spinning at her side, pointedly bored. Sighing inwardly, the female allowed the elemental to vanish with a small pop. "My name is Najavyz, though . . . you can call me Naja'." She shifted to all fours, sitting back on her haunches. "These ruins have become my home, I suppose. I don't remember the last time I've seen another 'dragon, though — I've mostly been practicing my summoning." All at once she seemed like a small, lost child, though she really wasn't that young at all.
rluknyym nodded. he mellowed a bit. he saw her smile and smiled a little more revealing just the tips of his fangs. he then shifted onto four feet as wel laying have curled on the cold stone. he appeared a little bit less treataing then. his hair was in a ponytail and it hung over his shoulder. even with his long hair you could never mistake him for a girl. he sat up for a second reaching his hand back and taking the pony out and shaking it out. then layed back down. he looked at the ground and thought of his sister who was probebly in class right now. when he had frist turned she had been terrifide of him then he had taken all the steps he had just done to make her feel more comfortable. he raised his head and said "naja... thats a nice name. and uhhhh its umm a nic place you got here" he said looking around trying not to laugh. he was use to anti-social people. he use to be one. "your summonings rather good... excalent place to lern to fromnia is very strong here. Naja' eyed the male warily at his sudden change in demeanor; she knew, of course, that he was trying to make her feel a bit more comfortable with his presence . . . but as far as she was concerned, change is bad. "You don't have to do that. I'm not afraid." Of course, she was - but her voice did not betray her. "I'm just not used to being around other 'dragons. I've been alone for a very, very long time." Her ears flattened as she tried to remember just how long it had been; but she had been here for as long as she could remember. Back.. when... "I've been here for a very, very long time, too. Only I don't really know how long that is . . ." The ebony female growled slightly, annoyed at herself, at her memory. Sighing, shaking out her mane, displaying the small horn stubs that emerged from her forehead. "Thank you. I've had lots of practice." <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>I'm sorry. I suck. rluknyym smiled and sat back up. "all righty then" he yawned and shook his head. he looked around at the fermiller walls. he stood back up and leaned agenst a near by wall. "so does your... uhhh.. summoning... have a name? or is it nameless?" he reached into his pack and pulled out a bag of cookies and took one out then offered her the bag as he muched on one. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>hehehe rluknyym: cookies! , if c.v reads this she will laugh... or else:P heheheh (sorry inside joke thingy)</td></tr></table>
