Upon leaving the tavern, the young couple decide to run away to the jungles of Bhim, both very drunk.

This is the morning after, when they regain their senses and try to figure out what happened the previous night.

    BIC:

The faint murmur of a near-by river could be heard, as the young male stirred slightly, rolled over, his dark head resting on a pillow of lush green grass.
"Tapokaj..." he whispered softly to no one in particular, his paw tracing the grass next to him, as though searching for something or someone. A frown slowly made it's way to his dark features, marring the peaceful look that had been his only moments before. He murmured his beloved's name once more, before nodding off into his dream world again.

    ...

A little further off, perched high in the branches of an ancient looking Manyeh tree, a tiny creature observed him with interest. Cocking its small head to one side, it leaned forward, while trying to retain some balance. The little Aktrieor's eyes gleamed with excitement.

What were those two shapes down there on the ground? Were they edible, were they food? The baby Aktrieor had never seen anything like them before. Of course, this could be because it had only hatched a few days ago and it's mother would never let it leave the nest. Not before it learned how to fly.

Still observing the couple, it waited for any other sign of life, any slight movement. It waited. And waited. It waited for so long (well only a few minutes but to him they seemed to last an eternity) that it decided that if they weren't going to move on their own, then he would make them move.

Picking up a twig with his tiny beak he threw it down in their direction, following it's trajectory as it fell, closer and closer, only to fall a few strides away from the male.
"punm" it squawked, "I missed them."

A few unsuccessful attempts and curses later though, it had improved is aim and now had sufficient knowledge of both velocity and angle to successfully send showers of twigs onto the female.

"It should only be a matter of seconds till she wakes", thought the cheeky little avian, chuckling to itself as it threw another set of wooden projectiles.

In soft slumber, images ran sub-conciously through the orange feline's mind.. Flashes of both colour and movement. The dark green of her beloved, the downing of numerous strong drinks, the sensation of being both lifted and carried - far away, into the night. Smiling, laughing, cheering, giggling.. Softly spoken words, some slurred. Images of kissing, the passion, the taste.. Two figures rolling around on soft, lush grass, barely visable in the dead of night. And finally, the soft sounds of moaning, and groaning..

These images and sounds played over and over in the feline's head, a light smile content on her lips. Completely oblivious to the nights previous happenings, and the obvious hints dropped in her gentle slumber, Tapokaj hardly stirred, only her tail twitching here and there. She could've lay there for hours, and she would have..

    Thud. Thud. Thud thud thud.

If some twisted little creature above hadn't decided to wake her with a shower of twigs. The first didn't really have any effect. But the second.. Third, fourth and fifth? They got her.

Letting out a small wince, the spotted seductress rolled over onto one side, slowly pushing herself up onto her hands. Lazily, Tapokaj opens her pale amber eyes, blinking once or twice to awaken herself properly. Approximately two seconds after waking - it all hit her - along with one last twig. A stabbing headache swept over her mind in one swift movement, as her stomach did the same. Her mind clicked at once - hangover. Although, previously when she'd gotten a little tipsy, she'd only been graced with a splitting headache. Was the stomach ache a nice little bonus.. Or something worse? Before given a chance to think on the subject any further, mind triggered once more.

    Tyael.

Where was he? Was he alright? Was he the one that had carried her out here, in the middle of the wilderness? Panicking, head swivelled this way and that, only to spot her dark, emerald green beloved a few mere metres away. A sigh of relief escaping her throat, the slender one leant forward onto her knees, and weakly crawled to Tyael's side. Stopping just near his head, she resided once more, in a leaning, kneeling position. Gaze ever on her lover, one more question filled her head - one that wouldn't go away.

What had they done last night?

Lifting a paw, slender fingers run softly through her beloved's hair, gentle and soothing, but perhaps enough to wake him..</span>

  3. It had worked! The female "food", as it liked to call her, was definitely awake, and was now moving towards the male. The baby Aktrieor would have liked nothing better then to fly down to them, hunt them, track them, bring them down and eat them, just like its mother, but even it, as ambitious as it was, knew it had its limits. It couldn't even fly yet, and, though it did not know this, it was probably twenty times smaller than it's "prey". Slightly disappointed, but excited at the prospect of telling the story of its adventure do its siblings, and perhaps even its mother, the little Aktrieor skipped its way back to its nest.

    ...

Violet sky, blue grass, light breeze, black trees, light breeze, dim lights. Silence. Fronima. Tylael was used to this world, his world, the world where his dream world came to life, existed, for him only. Fronima, synonym of peace and quiet. Of solitary happiness...

Not this time. Something troubled him, or someone. He felt he missed something he dearly needed. That he had forgotten something important, in the other world.

    But what?

"Tapokaj..." his dream self told him.

    Tapokaj!
He dream world began to darken as his mood did.
Where was she, was she alright? Why had he fallen asleep, why wasn't he protecting her? He needed to get up, now. Now.

"Tapokaj, Tapokaj..." he heard himself repeat over and over, why he knew not, no one ever knew anything for sure in that world, but he felt that if he called for her, he might somehow wake up from what was now a nightmare.

The dream began to fade, and he was gradually aware of the sun shining on his face, and someone's soothing touch against his skin.

"Tapokaj." he whispered as his eyes opened, only to close again, blinded by the sun. Shielding his bright eyes with his paw, he opened the again. He smiled when he saw her beautiful face. For a moment he stayed that way, watching as she passed her fingers in his hair. But soon, a look of concern came over him, replacing his serene smile, and he asked,

    "Good morning, Love."

Then, feeling slightly foolish, he added,
    "Err, Love, where are we?"

Looking around, he could barely tell, though the place seemed familiar enough.

  4. <span style='color:gray'>
In a day-dreamy world herself, Tapokaj continues to think carefully, trying to remember the previous night's events. What had she and her lover gotten up to? She remembered numerous drinks.. Most of hers filled with a higher-than-usual content of vodka.. Well, more alcohol had seemed like a good idea at the time - but throbbing headache now proved that thought very, very wrong..

No, dear. You must keep track of your thoughts. You must try to remember what the hell you got up to last night.

Slender digits continued to run softly through her lovers dark green tresses, amber optics somewhat glazed over, head swimming with blurry thoughts. And, that's how she could've stayed, for hours on end, trying to clear her headache away and piece together prior nights events.. If she hadn't heard the sweetest voice sound through the crisp, early morning air.

"Good morning, Love.. Err, Love, where are we?"

Pale, orange-white head shook, amber-gold tresses flicking this way and that, the seductress awakening her senses. Gentle smile curled into her muzzle softly. Peering down at her beloved, gaze sweeping over his peaceful body in a few smooth movements..

    Click. Tyael's body.

Something triggered in the female's mind, her amber gaze sweeping over dark green body causing a reminder. But, of what? Thinking hard for a few moments, thousands of peculiar images ran through intricate mind, trying to latch onto some kind of link.. What could they have done last night that she would be reminded of by looking at Tyael's bod-

    Oh my.

They.. Did it. They must have.

Images continued to run through Tapokaj's mind, when finally, the right one's came into view. They had. She remembered. Right where they now lay, in the grass - frightningly drunk. Completely out of it.. And then, they had crashed. Fallen asleep in the darkness. Well, maybe Tyael had forgotten - or at least not remembered just yet. Of course, if he didn't, she'd have to tell him.. But, not yet. He'd have to wake up a bit first..

Just thinking about it though, a soft, red blush drew over her cheeks, unknowing to the feline. Surely, Tyael would notice, though.

"Well, my love.. I was going to ask you the same.."</span>

  5. Though utterly confused, Tylael couldn't help but feel happy. He was alone with his loved one, in a place so beautiful it's beauty almost equalled that of his dream world.

But how they had ended up there, he couldn't fathom. And that wasn"t good.
Not good. Not good at all.

Dark paw slowly came to ruffle emerald fur, as its owner tried to remember the events of the previous night.

There had been he tavern.... And the alcohol. Then they had... What had they done? And where were they? They couldn't have gone very far, not in that drunken state...

Trying to sit up a little too quickly, he soon wished he hadn't for his head then began to ache unbearably.

Perfect. Just, perfect. He didn't know where, when and why he was here.

Just when Tylael thought things couldn't get any worse, they did.

Images suddenly flooded his mind. Pleasant images, yes, but the implications of them were troubling...

"Oh, NO..." he thought to himself... Bringing his paw to his lips, they hadn't, they couldn't have... Could they?

    No, no. No,NO.

But then, why could he so clearly remember the contours of her body, the softness of her lips...

No. Surely all that had just been a dream, they couldn't have... How had they come here?

He had to stop thinking like this. He was just going in circles.

Tylael lifted his dark head to study his loved one's face, trying to see whether she, too, was as troubled as he. Confused golden eyes met hers, before their gaze lowered slightly, seeing the blush that had crept into her delicate features. Perhaps he should ask? But no, he couldn't... What if he offended her?

"Why do things have to be so complicated?"he thought to himself, but all he said was,

"Shall we get ourselves some breakfast, Love?" he said, smiling. Perhaps they had packed some food and drink before their little escapade... Else they'd have to hunt. Tylael didn't mind, he quite liked hunting.

  6. <span style='color:gray'>
Quietly, the naked-bipedal feline shifted a little in her leaning-kneeling position, as her beloved sat up. The hand that had previously resided, running through his dark green hair, gently ran down the back of his head - and took a resting place around his neck, on one shoulder, in a half-hug. Little did she know though, this would probably provide support for the cruel head rush and head ache soon to follow. The natural hangover.

I wonder if he'll get a stomach ache like mine?

Sat quite close to her beloved, the polar-orange female couldn't help but wonder if Tyael had noticed her blush. Surely, he must have..? Did he remember at all? If not, she would indeed remind him. As embarrassing as it felt now - she had to admit to herself, that she certainly hoped last nights events would be repeated again sometime.

"Breakfast sounds good.. Although, we have no food with us.."

A light smile drew over feline features, Tapokaj's cheeks still twinged with a scarlet red. The blush simply chose to grow, as Tyael hadn't mentioned last nights events. Staring deep into her beloved's emerald, golden-rimmed eyes, the female hesitated - before taking a deep breath. The infectious blush simply grew. She had to ask..

"Tyael, Love.. Do you, er.. Remember what we.. Did, last night?"

Dropping her head a little in the hopes of hiding some of her embarrassment, Tapokaj snuggles up into Tyael's chest - dropping her arm from around his neck and wrapping it around the back of his waist - the other falling around the front. Hugging his lower body, and resting her head on his chest, the curious seductress (though aware that she would now have to give that title up) awaits an answer.</span>

  7. "Tyael, Love.. Do you, er.. Remember what we... Did, last night?"

Placing a gentle kiss onto her forehead, Tylael bit his lower lip thoughtfully. He often did this when in doubt, or at loss with words.

He felt so comfortable this way, with her leaning against his body and his arms around her, with her head resting on his chest... Too comfortable. It almost felt natural, and he feared he knew what that meant...

Had they really... Done what he thought they might have? Was she asking him...
Perhaps he just misunderstood the question, and she wasn't refering to that.

Lifting one of her tresses with his left paw, he absently twirled it around his finger, still not knowing what to say.

"Well, my dear Tapokaj, direct not your anger at me for telling you this. Little do I recall of last night's events, but what I do and will always remember, is that yesterday, I learned the true meaning of such words as bliss, beauty and perfection, and above all, love. You thought me love, you thought me happiness, and for this I am forever in debt to you, Love. So absorbed in your voice, your beauty and all that makes you, was I, that I could think of nothing else.", the words poured out of him, "I recall wishing that we should both runaway, live together forever... Wether I told you of this, I know not. My last memory is of the both us laughing merrily as I lifted you into my arms, trying to keep balanced as I carried you out of the tavern... How we came to Gyakusatsu (for I now recognise the place), I know not, but I fear, or perhaps am glad, for this is truly what I wished and still wish, that I did indeed ask you to runaway with me, that you agreed..." he told her.

"... My thoughts are still confused as to what happened from there on. Do you remember, Love?"

  8. <span style='color:gray'>
Listening to her beloved's poetic voice and loving speech, a gentle smile drew slowly over Tapokaj's feline features, causing her only to snuggle up further into dark, emerald green chest. Tyael had such a way with words - the natural charm which had first attracted the orange-amber speckled one to him in the first place.

But.. His speech, as wonderful as it was, didn't hint at all to the fact that they had..

Oh dear. You'll have to tell him.

As her beloved finishes speaking, and enquire's as to what she remembers last, Tapokaj rolls onto her back - resting her head in Tyael's gentle lap - of course, making sure that Tyael is still able to play with her tresses as always.

"My Love, I indeed recall the same - the laughing, the stumbling out of the tavern, the decision to run away together.. It was the most exciting night of my life, and I'm glad that I spent it with you.."

She seemed to somewhat trail off, as though not sure how to continue. Taking hold of one of Tyael's paws softly, she laces her fingers with his, intwining them. The blush flooding her cheeks once more, she struggles to keep eye contact - though somehow manages too - reasonably embarrassed.

"I.. I also remember something else, Dear, which you appear to have forgotten.. Last night, we.. Made love."

Cheeks flushing a hot scarlet, the speckled feline forces a small smile, anxiously awaiting her beloved's responce.</span>

  9. "Her eyes are so beautiful", he thought to himself as she sat in his lap, "I can barely let myself blink, I don't want to lose sight of them". All his attention was devoted to the beauty of her eyes, and he could barely grasp the seriousness of her speach.

    "...Last night, we... Made love."

When he did realise what she had said, tightening his grip on her slender paw slightly, what he thought a comforting gesture, he instantly looked away, afraid of what emotions his face might five away. He had never been one to hide his feelings, and his face never lied.

He should have expected it. Really, he should have. He knew they would that that would have to come up sometime...

He should have expected it, and yet, he had not, and his reaction to the news was rather extreme. He went, if possible, redder that his beloved, the blush so deep it showed through his dark fur.

Repressing a nervous laugh, he looked back to her lovingly, eyes shining with emotion, and whispered,

    "I... I know, Love."

Then smiling slightly, he searched her eyes for any evidence of either joy, sadness, or, what he feared most, regret. They had both been foolish that night and not meant to do what they had, yet he was glad they had, and had not a regretful bone to his lithe body. He was sure that if he had a chance to relive the previous night, he wouldn't change a thing. That night had been the happiest of his life, and he would never bring himself to regret it. Instead, he would treasure it, adore it, and it would stay ingraved in his memory for ever.

But what of Tapokaj? Did she too, feel as he did? She hadn't known what she was doing... What if she now regretted it an never wished to see him again? What if the kiss he had just experienced seconds ago had been their last, his last? What if... But, surely she must love him too?

Golden orbs questioning, he decided to tell her how he felt, he softly uttered,

"You seem embarrassed, Love, do you... Do you..."

He found it to painful to finish, for he didn't know what he would do if she answered that yes, she did regret...

  10. <span style='color:gray'>
Staring silently up into her beloved's mesmorising eyes, their tantalizing golden-rims providing a pure, hypnotic effect. His cheeks slowly grew a bright scarlet, shining suprisingly through his thick, dark emerald fur - and as they did, her very own followed suit.

    I... I know, Love.

After all that - he'd remembered? Well, that was certainly embarrassing. Perhaps she shouldn't have said anything? No. It had to be clarified. At least it was out in the open now. But.. Was he happy about it? If he remembered - why hadn't he mentioned it before? Was he hoping that she'd forgotten? Did he.. Regret it?

No. No, surely not. He loved her. Didn't he? He cared for her, and about her. Yes, of course he did. Perhaps he too was just simply too embarrassed to say anything, just as she had been to start with.

You seem embarrassed, Love, do you... Do you...

    "Regret it?"

Orange speckled female cut in quietly, finishing her beloved's sentence, as he appeared unable to do so. She gave a comforting, yet somewhat sly smile with her responce, in the hopes of reassuring the one that she wished to spend the rest of her life with.

"Not a minute of it. In fact, given half a chance - I'd do it again."

The small smile remained content on soft lips, hoping that it would never have to fade away. Squeezing her beloved's gentle paw in affection, pale amber gaze stared lovingly still into emerald, golden-rimmed eyes. She only spoke the truth. Last nights rememberances would be treasured in her mind forever more..

But, she couldn't help but think the worst in the back of her mind. The previous nights events were fantastic - passionate, erotic, and very loving.. But stupidly - unprotected. Although they were both quite drunk, and it had appeared a very good idea at the time, what would the consequences be? Perhaps her stomach ache was more than a mere hang-over effect..?

    As these worrying thoughts ran through her head, the smile had wiped slowly from her visage, and the grip on her lover's hand had slowly loosened. Long fingers that were once entwined around Tyaels, slowly slipped away, and rested slowly on her stomach. The thoughts niggling at the back of her head kept screaming one word;

    Pregnancy.</span>

  11. Unaware of his loved one's unseasiness or the troubling thoughts that plagued her mind, he barely noticed her smile fade as she brought her paw to her stomach.

But one must forgive Tylael's lack of attention for, at that moment, he was definitely somewhere else, lost in that little world of his, drowning his endless sea of thoughts.

    Happy thoughts, though.

She didn't regret it... She did not regret it !

Which meant that she did care for him, did love him...

There were no words to express the utter bliss he was experiencing at that moment, a happiness that only one of his beloved's kisses could equal.

He had been so nervous, so afraid of her rejection, he had almost decided to leave the instant she refused him. For, surely, his insecure mind had told him, their feelings were not reciprocal...

But she did, she did love him! And she didn't regret...

He loved her so, how would he ever have been able to part with her, when he could barely envision spending a second away from her?

When he could barely release her precious paw from his?

He gave a gentle squeeze to her paw, but was soon brought back to reality when all he would feel was thin air. Shrugging the happy thoughts away, he tried to concentrate on the present.

A confused look, then one of concern soon mapped his dark face as he saw her.

"Is something wrong, do you not feel well, Love?"

  12. <span style='color:gray'>
Just as Tyael was, Tapokaj too, found herself drowning in a sea of endless thoughts, though sadly, unlike her lover's, her thoughts were not so joyous. Reality of the raunchy events of the previous night had started to gnaw at her once-happy mind, creating an endless web of worrying thoughts and images. What would happen if she had fallen pregnant? Tyael did love her, but would he find enough love to stay with her? To support her and a child? Would he be the sort to jump at the thought of a family with her? Perhaps take her hand in marriage and find them all a cosy little home to live in?

Or would he panic? Then either faint, or run a mile? Or, tell her to get rid of the child, and then run?

How was she to know? Surely her beloved wouldn't go as far as leaving her. He was a kind soul, with a gentle heart. He'd do anything for her, he'd even mentioned spending the rest of his life with her.. It all came down to one thing - would he want to spend the rest of his young life tied down with a child?

Tapokaj, you might not even be pregnant.

One little voice of hope kept calling through the dark fogs in her mind, like a lighthouse, or a beacon, leading poor, lost ships into safe, warm land. But.. As each second passed, the voice became quieter.. And grew distant. The other side of the argument was stronger for some reason. Maybe it was an after effect of the alcohol making her depressed, and helping lock away the hopeful little voice?

Wait a minute. Who was to say the voice was a hopeful one? Wouldn't a child be a fun, and wholesome experience? A little mixture of her, and her beloved, all rolled into one little ball of fluff!

It was too soon to say. Perhaps a child wouldn't be so bad. But given birth to a large egg? That wouldn't be the most comfortable experience in the world. And still, there was always a chance that she wasn't pregnant.. Even though she almost guarenteed that she was. She could feel it. Maybe she was getting mother's intuition already?

Is something wrong, do you not feel well, Love?

Her beloved's voice spoke out, shining once more through the thick foggy thoughts in her mind, like a lighthouse shining brightly. Directing her previously glazed over gaze into the golden-lined oculars of her beloved, Tapokaj attempts to force a small smile into her lips. Failing miserablely, her face clearly showing a considerable amount of worry, she opens her mouth slightly to speak. Hesitating for a moment, she wonders what exactly it is she's worried about.

    Being pregnant? Not really.

    Literally giving birth? A little.

Tyael recoiling in horror and running a mile? Definately.

"Sweetheart.. I think that I might be.. Pregnant."</span>

  13. His heart skipped a beat. He felt as though he might faint.

    "... Pregnant?!"

The word seemed so strange, so alien to his thoughts.

Once again he was looking away, eyes unseeing. Unconsiously, his paw made it's way to hers, as though it had eyes and a mind of it own, urgently wrapping itself arround hers.

    Pregnant...?

He had been expecting her to tell him she had a headache, or that she was hungry, or thirsty,or angry, or sad, or regretful, or... Well, anything but this... Had it been any of those other things, he would have immediately tended to her needs, he would have known what had to be done... But this?

But this, this was different. He hadn't the faintest idea of what he should do.

Tylael had never really liked books that told of love and romance, and had always stuck to the few fantasy books he could snatch from the Boss's library. His role-models as a nioti, had been adventurers who would never face such a problem.

Of course, he knew he had to do the right thing. But what on Ramath was the right thing?

"Perhaps", he told himself, "I should listen to my heart."

He didn't know what was wrong or right, but what he did know, what he did feel, was that whatever this might mean, whatever the consequences of their actions might be, he was as much responsible as Tapokaj and, thus, he would be there to protect and give her support.

He loved her so much... He just wished he knew how she would want him to react.

He was so nervous, so scared... How could he, naive and inexperienced as he was, possibly be a Father, possibly be responsible for an other life, when he himself wasn't good at managing his own? But he wouldn't run, of course not. That would be cowardly, irresponsible. Besides, he knew only too well what it felt like not to know one's parents...

And besides, wasn't this what he had always wished? To live with those he loved and to finally find a family, and a place he could call home? Why, only hours ago he had been dreaming of a possible daughter...

"Tajama...", he remembered, "That would be a beautiful name for a daughter..."

But then again, he thought, analysing her words, She said she "thought she might be" pregnant... But what would that mean? Does she know?

    ...

Why did things always have to be so complicated?

Utterly confused, but determined to do "the right thing", Tylael looked to his love one, and told her,

"Love? I just want you to know that, if indeed you are..., he could barely say the word, Pregnant, we will both face this new situation, together.

  14. <span style='color:gray'>
We will both face this new situation, together.

As though she had been holding her breath and waiting for an answer for an eternity, Tapokaj relased a heavy sigh of relief. Her beloved had't run a mile. He was still sat, providing a comfortable green pillow for her weary, worrying, golden-orange-tressed head. She had been almost certian that within mere seconds of hearing the 'P-word', her soft hearted, lightweight drinker of a handsome Pendragon lover would have left her like a shot.

Having decided to stay though, the caramel spotted female could not be happier, or more relieved. More frightening than having a child, would be having to care for a child - alone.

Releasing the tightened grip on Tyael's paw, which rested over creamy-white stomach, Tapokaj lifted up from her laying position, moving head from dark-jade lap. Still silent, though a relieved smile still playing gingerly about her lips, she turns when sat up, quickly flinging arms tightly around the male's neck. Shifting backwards, and upwards slightly, she placed her form to face sideways, sitting in Tyael's lap. Arms still wrapped tightly around masculine form, amber oculars started to well slightly, with salty tears of joy. One, single tear, rolling down creamy cheek, only to land on Tyael's shoulder, a small kiss was planted on a bottle green cheek.

Tones as though on the brink of accompanying a flood of tears, Tapokaj spoke quickly and quietly. She didn't want her beloved to see her cry. Especially as she wasn't exactly sure why she wanted to cry.. Tears of joy and relief, because Tyael would stay with her? Tear of sorrow and fear, because she would have to give birth, or thought perhaps that she would make a horrific mother? Or, was it simply all due to Pregnancy hormones?

    "Thank you.."</span>

  15. <span style='font-size:11pt;line-height:100%'><span style='font-family:Times New Roman'>OOC:

I looked for hatching info in the FAQ and found this ^^
After conception occurs (the egg is fertilized), an egg grows within the female pendragon. It remains there and grows for roughly 20 days, give or take. Once the egg is laid, it takes 40 to 50 days of incubation in order for it to hatch.
So they have approx 60-70 days...

    BIC:

Tylael experienced a great feeling of relief as he heard her soothing voice. A part of him had been scared she might be angry with him, that she might blame him for what had happened, that she might shun him, never wanting to see him again... That pessimistic part of him, though, was now being silenced by much stronger, much happier sentiments.

He knew he shouldn't be thinking so far ahead, or dreaming so much, but, though he knew what was happening was probably one of the most serious things in his life, Tylael couldn't help it.

He was going to be a father! And maybe, just maybe, and how he wished it, maybe he would marry Tapokaj, settle down somewhere, anywhere, it didn't matter where they were, as long as they were together, and bring up their child. Together.

A child, joy! A child... He wondered what he or she would look like. Would she/he be spotted like his beloved? Would he/she have his golden eyes... A child! There would be so many things to teach them, such beauty to show them!

Only instants before, he would never have even imagined raising a nioti, but now, now it seemed so much more feasible, so much closer...

    60 days.

If indeed they were to be parents, he thought, they had 60 days to prepare for it.

60 days, and so much to do! Where to begin?

Leaning to drop a soft, if slightly tickling, kiss on his beloved's neck, he was surprised by the look on her usually radiant face. She looked on the brink of tears...

In what he hoped would be a reassuring toner, he softly whispered to her ear,
"Don't cry, Love. It's gonna be alright. I promise you it'll be alright."</span></span>

Taopkaj's mind still greatly resembled a vast ocean of thoughts - but now, with Tyael right behind her, and willing to care for her, the ocean was more calm - no longer a raging storm. Only a few vague ripples queried and worried her.. She was to give birth to a living, breathing creature. Well, first - she'd have to manage the egg. Thinking approximately, she had near on 3 weeks before tackling that painful situation. 20 days. But then, there was the incubation to worry about. Would the pair of inexperienced lover's know how to look after an egg, and help the being inside it grow? How would they manage for 6 to 7 weeks?

No, no. She had to think positively. Sitting snuggly in Tyael's dark green lap, her figure pressed up against him lovingly, it was clear now. They'de be together for a very long time.. And, they'de have a family together. Something that secretly, Tapokaj had longed for for many years. Something that she'd never find in the dark corners of the Black Market, with drunken 'dragons in Tavern's and Bar's. Tyael brought her something more. Happiness, security, and love.

Don't cry, Love. It's gonna be alright. I promise you it'll be alright.

Such kind and fantastical words, rolling from a silvery tongue. Nodding quietly, Tapokaj could feel her eyes draining the need to cry, no longer stinging with salty tears. Feeling a butterfly kiss resting over her neck, a small smile crept over semi-worried features, and head pulled back a little from resting on her beloved's shoulder. Quietly rubbing noses with Tyael, she planted a small kiss on his lips. This wasn't going to be frightening - it was going to be wonderful. An experience for the pair of them to share.

"Thank you, Sweetheart.. And, I know. It will be alright."

The smile slowly curling into a small grin, Tapokaj softly pressed her nose up against her beloved. Time to lighten the mood.

    "We're going to be parents.."

  17. "... We're going to be parents !" he repeated, his wide smirk mirroring Tapokaj's grin.

His eyes were moistening with emotion until he was sure soon he would be the one crying. But the tears gently falling down his dark cheeks were of joy, not sorrow. And it was not sobs his mouth emitted, but chuckles, as he lifted his beloved, carrying her around in his strong arms, a look of great fondness in his eyes.

"Tapokaj... Do you know how much I love you, Love?" he told her, smile still in place.

And with that strange question, he laughed jovially, and slowly let himself fall... Onto the lush grass that cushioned their fall.

Before she could answer, though, he quickly brought his lips to hers and silenced her with a gentle kiss.

A wide smile gracing feminine features, Tapokaj wraps her arms around Tyael's neck once more. He too, was growing to the idea of having a child - and even appeared happy about it. So, they;de have a family together.. But, how would living arrangements be? Would.. Would they go about their usual lives, and share the child between them? Or, would they move in together somewhere? Get a little place?

    Get married someday, even?

    Silencing her thoughts for a moment, ears perked, hearing her beloved's voice;

Tapokaj... Do you know how much I love you, Love?

Just as lips parted to speak, they were silenced - another set of lips pressed gently up agianst them. Only nodding in reply after the kiss, a light chuckle emits from dustily speckled throat. Craving more, Tapokaj then leans in for a kiss, eyes closing passionately.

His chest heaved as he tried to regain his breath. This was rendered difficult as he could stop himself from laughing. His smile as he opened his golden-rimed orbs was so wide he was sure if it grew any wider it wouldn't fit his dark face. Cheeks still glistening with fresh tears of happiness, he brought himself into sitting position. Not sure of his actions, he felt himself kneel, then capture his beloved's paw in his. Looking around at the rich surroundings, he marvelled at the lushness of it all. It occured to him he had never seen such a beautiful place, never having ever left the Black Market, such a blue sky, such crystal clear water, such silence as belonged to the place they now found themselves in. It was so different from the Black Market and it's noises and sounds, it's smoke and dangers, it's ever busy streets... </span>

"It's so different... Just as Tapokaj is so different from all those I have met before her. Just as this day is so different from any I have ever lived before..."

    <span style='color:#669966'>
Locking eyes with his beautiful seductress, he softly spoke the words that had been wanting to pour out of him ever since he had woken that day, the words he knew he would only say once in his life,</span>

"Tapokaj? You have already rendered me the most blissful of 'dragons. The day I met you was the happiest of my life. What I desire most is to protect and a cherish you always. To build a family with you, and provide love and affection to our child. Love, what I'm trying to say is..."
    <span style='color:#669966'>
He paused, willing her to see the serious look in his eyes. He truly meant all he said. </span>

    Tapokaj, will you marry me?"
    </span></span>

OOC: Let me know if you find this too sudden ^^
But I thought tylael being the romantic he is would come up with this kind of fluffiness.

<table class=ooc><tr><td>No, don't worry. It's not at all too sudden. If Tyael didn't get there soon, Tapokaj would've blurted it out. xD</td></tr></table>

Watching with glee as her beloved fell to a laying position, grinning from ear to ear, and laughing happily, Tapokaj too, fought to regain her breath. She truely loved this dark emerald beast, and indeed she wished to spend as much of her time with him as possible.

Sat on he lush, green grass, she watched silently with a wide grin as her beloved sat up once more, laughing. But as the laughing slowly ceased, he took place upon one knee. And there her stayed, staring deep into amber oculars.

    ~Oh my God. What's he doing?~

A white wave of nerves sweeping all of Tapokaj's insides away, leaving her feeling empty in the sense of mass, with a hint of that certian butterfly feeling caught in her stomach, she knew what was going on. She knew what her beloved was about to do. Plus, being down on one knee sort of gave it away.

Listening intently, and hanging on Tyael's every word, Tapokaj felt her eyes welling up with salty tears again. He was so good to her - too good for her. But here he was, and he loved her. And she loved him. And that's all there needed to be to it.

    Tapokaj, will you marry me?

Tears now rolling down her cheeks without the speckled female even noticing, Tapokaj squeezed Tayel's dark green paw happily, slowly nodding. Wanting only to cry for happiness in her lover's arms, she would've managed to reply with words equally as wonderful as Tyaels - if only she weren't choking up with the need to cry. Speaking the only words she could manage at the time, arms were flung happily around a certain dark green waist.

    "..Of course I will!"</span>
