ooc: Not much going on 'round here....It's the right place, ne? ic: Lazuli Tsyjn loped happily into the establishment, muscles rippling under glossy, medium-gray fur. His tail-flame reflected his mood; it blazed with a cheerful amethyst light. His long, glossy-black claws were extended to give him a better grip on the floor. He shook his violet mane, and reared up on his back legs for a moment for a look around. I wonder where everybody is around here? he thought. He fell lightly down onto all fours again, and then tightened his muscles to gallop down the hall. His heavy paws thudded on the flooring, accompanied by the screech of his claws as they scraped across the floor as he lifted his paws. Finally, he came to the end of the hall, still without seeing another living thing. "Damn! This is odd." He poked around a bit more, but he still couldn't find anybody. Sighing, he settled back on his haunches to wait for somebody to find him, if he could not find them.
OOC: I think it's the right place. BIC: Lazuli wasn't the only pendragon waiting. Veja Vlyfaj was still waiting by the regesration desk when she heard him as he galloped past in a hall not far off. Her curiosity got he better of her and the blue and white pendragon followed. Even though she only followed by jogging; it wasn't long before she caught up with him. Hanging back, out of his sight she wached him for a few minuits wandering wether to approach or go back to the regestation desk. She decide to approach. Do you know why it's so quiet? The stillness of the place was causing her to think that mabye she should try to get into this academy another time.
OOC: For future reference, you must date/timestamp posts... BIC: Nearby, retreating from an office deep within the bowels of the underground complex, was Kumet, legendary staff anomaly amongst the teachers and administrators at Janardan. Claws clicking rapidly on the intricate tilework of the floors, she rounded the corner into a secret staff shortcut in which students were often caught sharing rather secretive moments of all sorts. It was much like a game to her to catch them in these acts and attempt to bargain with them for her own personal gain - yet, to a certain degree of dismay, she found no such quarry there today and walked the distance in silence and solitude. Emerging from the passage through a maintainance door in the main hall, she happened upon two rather confused-looking youths. Not aware that her appearance would seem rather foreign in the setting she quickly approached the two, looking more a homeless bum than a teacher. Her appearance today was especially threatening - clothes torn and dirt-streaked, holes throughout exposing tribal tattoos snaking their way across the femme's form, and of course, the omnipresent trademark pink hair. A sneer crossed her maw - she wasn't quite fond of new students. She managed to growl out a greeting. "...Hi. Can I help you?" She glared at them, her eyes demanding an answer and demanding it quickly. OOC Again: Sorry for the crappy post, I'll do an extra-good one my next time around, but right now I'm in school...
BIC: She looked up, Who is this? she thought, well whoever she was, she didn't look too happy. Err... yes... err c-coud youu tell me h-how to get into the acadamy. She paused... and with slightly more confiedce, she added As in how become a student here? She flexed her wings very slightly and tapped her claws lightly on the floor, a habit of hers when she was nervous. She looked at Kumet wondering how would she respond.
Great. More filth-ridden children, she thought, despite the fact that she was not much older than some of the upper-class students. She turned her head casually, spitting a fairly large wad of what appeared to be gum out on to the floor. It was no wonder the janitorial staff hated her. After taking what seemed to be several minutes inspecting the gum, her gaze returned to the student, half-hoping the rotten thing would have left by now. Alas, such was not the case. She heaved a weighty sigh, shaking her head slightly in an inward-gesture of self pity. "First off, y'gotta start being a tad more intelligent, ya li'l snotbag. Second off, do I look like a motherfu..." Her voice trailed off. Best not try anything, especially with the memory of the last incident she had with a student fresh the school's collective mind. Students would not let her live it down - everyone was, so to speak, now dying to get a piece. "I'm not a tour guide. Find out yourself. There's some offices through some of these doors. I think they're over there." She vaguely cocked her head to a side of the room where the wall was bare, and there were no doors of which to speak. "That'd be all then...? Unless you have some more stupid questions to ask me?"
ooc: whoopsies... forgot about the timestamp :-/ will remember next time!! Should I do it now? Just put...Tessera 21 or whatever? Lazuli whirled about, his silver coat rippling, and his claws scrabbling on the floor, as he heard the female's voice. When he saw that it was just another prospective student, he relaxed. His tail-flame, which had been burning vibrant amethyst, died down to a more controlled violet torch. He was relieved, really, to see another 'dragon. "Hello! I didn't see you there!" he said to the female, and grinned. He took a breath into his lungs to say more, but didn't get his jaws open before Kumet stalked in. What an imposing 'dragon she was... Even in her tattered clothes and pink fur. Laz whirled about again, his purple hair hanging into his face. He gulped, and shook his head to clear his mane away. Veja spoke first, which he was rather glad about. He listened carefully to Kumet's answers, but didn't get much from her vague directions. Laz didn't really want to press the female more, but did he really have a choice? What the heck, he thought. What else can I do? So looked straight at Kumet, tried on is most winning grin, and said, "Can you repeat that...? Didn't quite catch it there."
Kumet's jaw dropped slightly. It was as if the student was almost talking back to her - she bared her teeth, tilting her ears back fully and growling a low, guttural threat of a growl. She fluttered her wings slightly behind her and pawed her way over to Lazuli, claws tapping lightly on the hard floor, the noise echoing in the empty chamber. Her tail swished slightly behind her in 's' forms as she stalked him at an even pace, one foot before the other, arriving mere inches from his face. Oculars grabbing his and locking them in a stare, she feigned a sweet smile, "Excuse me? What was that, you obnoxious little twerp? Being fucking sarcastic with me? I'll eat you alive, you little asswipe, don't doubt it for a second. But if you really must know, you're going to have to talk to an administrator."
BIC: Veja was now starting to dislike the teacher... hopefully she wouldn't have to be taught by her.... and at the current moment decided that she wouldn't want be nearer than ten miles to her either. She quickly turned round. That's all... and okay, I'll do that then. She said this quietly but on the angry side... she padded her way to the door Kumet meant... but then remembered the other pendragon and stopped just by it... mabye she should go now? She decided to. But before she went.. she spoke in thought-speak to Lazuli {Hopefully I'll see you around...I might even get your name... sorry for leaving ya now.} She walked throughthe door an started to look for an office tht might be of help.
Laz blinked and stared openmouthed at Kumet. Who would have thought she'd go off like that?!? He thought angrily to himself. He ruffled his silver fur and shook his headfur out of his eyes again. His tail-flame blazed pale amethyst. He was clearly disgruntled. Although all he wanted to do was run, he forced himself to sit back on his haunches and look Kumet in the eye. With a panicked note in his voice, he said, "My apologies, ma'am. I guess I'll just... just check over there..." And he backed up, his neck slightly bent in submission. Her words rang in his head, "I'll eat you alive, you little asswipe, and don't doubt it for a second." The funniest thing was, he didn't doubt it at all... As he backed away, he caught the other female's thoughtspeak. She sounds sweet, actually, he thought to himself. Maybe I'll catch up with her later. Still walking in reverse, he sent the thought, {My name's Lazuli Tsyjn...}
The auburn femme grinned a wide, toothy grin. Messing with the minds of students was her passion - and she decided to instill some fear of the academy into their feeble minds right from the getgo. To seal the deal, she decided to add an important footntote to the day's proceedings. "I know what you're both thinking," she called out as she turned about-face, continuing along her original trajectory, "And yes, you will have me. A quarter of every semester, every year! That's the way it is, children!" She laughed - almost giggled - as she finally padded out of view.
She hadn't even reached the first door when she heard that. What was said suddenly transformed her bad start... to a really bad one. She remained motionless for a few seconds before she caught Lazuli's thought-speak. Tuning round she considered turning back to wait for him, she quitely padded up to the door and peered throgh the window, the teacher had now gone. She came back through and approached Lazuli. Sorry, I've changed my mind... should we find ot this together... oh, and my name's Veja Vlyfaj. She had said this nervously. the winged blue and white pendragon felt like saying something about the teacher but wasn't sure weather she was still in earshot, though that seemed unlikely. So she thought-spoke it. {She is such a... who knows what she is... fortunatley its a quarter of a semester... but still we still have her... and it's every semester.} She then added something lightly through voice. Shall we go then? She wasn't one to be put off by pendragons like her... in fact it would tke a lot for her to show any signs of wear and tear... the only things that she were more proud of then that... were her wings...
OOC: Heh, Teacher is funny... ^^; A clicking of talons on the floor echoed through the halls. They belonged to a young 'dragon who seemed over confident about this place. Dual lappets were quirked in a inquisitive manner and his pendulum flicked behind him happily. The bright yellow flames that danced on the tip o' his wolven tail burned brightly. He suddenly heard the shouts of an older 'dragon. His pace halted as he heard the treatening words. A smirk tugged at the edges of his charcoal black jaw and he continued forth. Red tipped spiked hair bounced infront of his face and the 'j' shaped chain around his neck chinked making it echo very loudly. Taydran smirked even more as he knew that loud noises would make the teachers fume. So, with a happy bouncing step, be began to whistle a loud obnoxious tune. He did this until he reached the door to the office. Slowly, he padded inside. The sound of the other two pendragons caught his attention and he turned to them. He loped o'er and nodded to them. Hey there! You two here to enroll too? His glittering cerulean orbs smiled at them in a friendly manner.
Judging that he is far enough from Kumet, Laz again turned around to see a student. This one was younger than Laz, with a mischevious gleam to his eye and a bounce to his step. The silvery-gray male raised a large paw to swipe the violet headfur out of his eyes, a routine motion. Cocking his head, Laz grinned at the male. "Hey there. Yes, we're signing up too... Though... if they're all like her" --he jerked his head back towards where Kumet stood-- "I think we'll have a hard time going anywhere!" He chuckled slightly. "Anyway, I'm Lazuli Tsyjn and that's Veja Vlyfaj..." After these words, the male turned about to see if Kumet was coming after them. Since things seemed safe, he turned back around. The color of his tail-flame sparkled a bit; he had been nervous. His eyes still flicked back and forth. He truely did not want the pink-haired, loud-mouthed female to come back around to the three of them. She was somebody he did NOT want to see at the moment... Shaking his silver head, he looked first at Veja, then at the other 'dragon. "Shall we look in another office?"
ooc: Anybody here? Â Laz flicked his long, thin tail, making the violet flame on the tip flicker slightly. His purple orbs flicked back to the other two 'dragons, and he flexed his large paws, lifting each into the air before doing so, so that the ebony, dagger-like claws that extended did not scratch the flooring. His silver coat rippled like fine long grass in a summer wind. "Do you want to check another office?The pendragon asked again. He checked over his shoulder yet again to make sure Kumet was not coming back. Oh stop it, he told himself sternly. There is no need to be so afraid of her! She's just a teacher. I'm probably stronger than she is, for pity's sake. Still, one bad experience had grounded itself in his mind, and he did not forget what she had said. Fool! he thought roughly. Without checking to see if the others were following, Lazuli padded up to the nearest door, pushed it open, and trotted confidantly through...
A smile crossed the young 'dragons visage and he nodded to them. The flame that flickered on the end of his wolven-like tail danced lightly. He had not been scared of the pink maned teacher, only amused. Taydran's personallity was that of a rebellious youngster. He knew that he would indeed have his words with the harsh teacher. All in good time. A smirk flashed on his maw before being quickly swiped away. Dual lappets swiveled toward the Lazuli and Veja as Lazuli mentioned about trying another door. He then remembered he hadn't introduced himself. An apologetic grin crossed his maw. Oh! Sorry, forgot to introduce myself. I'm Taydran Shaev. Pleased to meet you both. Another friendly smile was given and he streched. Attention was given again as he watched Lazuli pad through the next door. Rushing after him, he got through the door just as it was about to close. This room seemed nicer, more comforting somehow. Moreso than then the pink maned teachers. Taydran reached up a paw and swiped away at the raven bangs that fell over his eyes. Let's hope this teacher isn't mean too, or I'm outta here.
Laz looked around the office It was a small room, and the chill of Tessera was thick in the air, but there were plush chairs and a carpet. For all the niceness of the room, it was empty. It didn't seem as if it had seen a pendragon in a while. Lazuli signed, and his orbs flickered to the other male. "It doesn't look like there's anybody here, either. You'd think they'd make it easier to sign up for this place, eh?" The male flexed his large paws. Glossy black claws, long as knives and twice as sharp, extended for a moment before withdrawing back into the mist-colored male's feet. The chill in the room made the 'dragon tired, and he arched his back and yawned before speaking again to Taydran. "I don't know what do to. I saw another student out in the hall, and I think I remember what office they went into. Let's check there." ooc: I think I'm gonna post in one of the more active student threads in this forum; there's a principal PC in one and I think that'll be fine....
