Sudden up blow of wind, whipping sands, silences. It was a ideal time of the night for anyone that didn't bother crossing the desert. Creatures of the night came out and did the usual rounds of searching out a sudden snack or nightcap meal. That of a tall, blue flamed pendragon slipped across the sandy slopes making it's way towards that of firm ground. Maybe something that was good enough to really sit down on and take a break. The pendragon continued on it's way till coming to a sudden stop at the sight of moonlight, reflecting off a glassy surface from afar. The pendragon's golden orbs gazed upon the spot for a short while before darting off into the direction of it.

She came to the oasis and lifted her golden eyes up towards the moon, that was so kind as in to point at the watery heaven to the thin 'dragon. She smirked and dropped her pointy eared head towards that of the water before kneeling down and dipping that of a lower hand into the water. Lower hand? Well this pendragon was gifted with four arms than your average two. She wasn't a normal 'dragon either. She was that of one of the Anubians. A far grander of any other creature related to the pendragon kind. (Okay, so I'm babying her a bit. But hey she is a Anubian after all  )

She shifted that of her weight as she dipped her lower two hands into the water then brings them back out taking them up to her lips and drinking slowly. Feeling the cool and clear fluid drift down her throat into her gut. What a relief it was to find water. It had been almost 4 days since her last drink and she been wander the sandy wasteland for that entire time just out of her enjoyment.

  2. <span style='color:gray'>The night wrapped smoothly along the shoulders of the mutated pendragon of vampiric heritage. The night was her beloved as was the cold chill the desert was blessed with at sunfall. Never would one find Tem in the desert at sunbloom and it wasn't necessarily because she was a vampire but more so because she hated the heat. Considering her birth in Dhruv, one would assume such intense temperatures would ail her.

Her feet pressed into the cooled sand, talons flicking bits of it into her wake. The sound of sloshing water caught her attention, and with a simple twist of the neck she found an oasis, where a 'dragon species lay in rest. The water sparkled in the moonlight, of which swallowed the whole oasis as well as the Anubian beast that stay there. Her tongue descended and licked across the dryness of her lips. The desire for water was stronger than the desire to remain unsocialiable and thus she sauntered around to the other side of the glimmering pond and dipped her only two paws into the water. She brung them, again to her lips, sipping with not a sound. The hood of her cloak hid her face as she drank and she did so with such velocity that she had hoped to be gone before the other creature noticed her ever present.
The fresh feel of the liquid coating her esophagus was desirable and she continued to drink - finally taking her time to enjoy what prize she had found.</span>

  3. Kyofu winced a bit and set up from the sands looking over into the direction of the cloaked figure there. Her flesh continued to burn the blue flame as her golden eyes rested on the creature for a few moments before crossing over her lower set of arms. "Ty E doatt E'n mys sha ymli yma fhyn hut kyna ull shet fui qots vyj u pjemc." She spoke leaning back on her upper elbows before dropping back against the sand and relaxing her eyes once more. She traced that of her hands along the sands slowly relaxing, listening to the cascade of the wall against the rocks about the pool and rippling sounds of it as the strange dragon touched the water. Her eyes parted lightly at the shift of the wind before turning her head. Seeing that of sands being whipped across the tops of the dunes.

"E lyba sha vaal yv sha thevsemd fempt...sha avvakst shus es hut ym sha tumpt uryos es." She spoke again trying to strike a conversation with the other 'dragon, somthing she never did. She shook her head lightly and turned her eyes back towards the heavens as her flames died out once more, causing her black body to be exposed beneath it.

  4. <span style='color:red'>"Sha tumpt avvakst uja ymli gjassi sy shyta fhy cmyf shan. Sy yshajt shai uja omcemp, sha patajs et u rlattemd sy ot ros u kojta sy yshajt."</span>

A dragon as black as night appeared out of the shadows. Oviously male by his black tail flame. He wore the traditional garb of the Anubi, but his gauntlets said more about his stature in society then anything else. His eyes were completely pupiless and glowing with their red color.

    <span style='color:red'>"Ty fa naas uduem, Kyofu"</span>

His short fur shimmered in the moonlight. A short dagger could be seen in his belt. The belt itself was inlaid with blue glass pieces along with gold pieces. He wore a white loin cloth that was made out of a very soft material. On his arms though were pure gold bracers, they were heavily engraved. Their meaning would be unknown to any normal dragon, to an Anubi though, they ment alot. Their being there ment he was a priest, there color ment he was the highest you could go. That meaning had since been lost since the demise of the Anubi. What he did now no one knows, nor wants to understand.

Kyofu turned her eyes off into the direction of the dark figure glaring a bit upon him before pulling herself up into a seating position. A grin crossed her face as she extended her hand and placed it against the ground causing the sand to part into a dip on the surface before purple flame field the darkness chasing it away. "Umoreul...Paush." She spoke with a surprised smirk before vanishing with the blowing winds as if she was just sand then reappears behind him. Extends her silver bracer cover arm and placed it about his neck as that of her other two lower hands took hold of his hands. She grazes her lips along the side of his course neck before drawing back and smirking.

"Sy shemc shus iyo fut tsell uleba uvsaj ull yv shata iaujt yv fumpajemd. E kuna sy raleaba shus sha tmyf pjevst yv Ky'Datudk Mountain hup tfullyfap iyo og." She spoke drawing back from him with a push. She moves over pass him and moves down the dune back to the fire before dropping alongside it in a laying position. She looks off at him and grins softly before slipping her eyes closed and relaxes.

  6. // <span style='color:#FA8630'>Cynik Rasa'myeja</span> \\
    Primary Trade ¤ Necromancy (J)
    Secondary Trade ¤ Telepathy (J)
Cynik trudged along. The air was biting in the darkness on the shifting desert sands. It was hardly time for anyone to do anything besides finding warm shelter. But he had no hope of finding company here.

    Not that he wanted any.

The large male was often alone. Often talking to spirits, often relating to the dead. He found Fronima somewhat more comforting than the world of the living. Few knew why that was, probably because life in the hands in one who knew how to use it was deliriously fun and enjoyable.

But he had no desire to enjoy the living. In his eyes the world was a dark and torturous place. The place he had lost his parents to, the place he would lose everything he cared about. Fronima was where they went. Fronima was the happy place. Life was hardly worth the torment.

Motion caught his eye to his right and he turned. Pendragons? Out now of all times? Why had he not noticed them before? Probably because he was lost in his thoughts...

Well, considering he investigated anyone for information on his parent's murder, these folk would be no different. As he walks towards them he shapeshifts, assuming his most favorite form, an aktrieor. He would watch them, and if none were telepaths, perhaps he would remain unknown. He could filter through a person's mind better than a female. And he had all the reason to - if his parents murderer was out there, he would find them. He was hunting them, if erratically. But he was hunting them. And eventually he would succeed. Until then, he would keep a low profile. He didn't need the hassle or a fight that might result in his death, when his parents' murderer was still out there.

  7. <span style='color:red'>"Hujpli, E tsell taac umtfajt. Shemdt uja mys ut shai otap sy ra. Sha umtfaj sy sha Umore't djaus woatseym hut ias sy ra vyomp. Es fell ra vyomp shyodh, E cmyf es fell. E fym's jats omsel E vemp es."</span>

He smirked. He heard and smelled the aktrieor and was suspisous, usually one whould have run by now. This one didn't smell familuar either. Most creatures would ring a bell in his mind, but this one didn't. If Kyofu didn't kill it, Hathor most likely would. This desert was her prowling grounds anyway. He looked in the direction of it and then turned back to Kyofu as she ran her lips across his neck. He shivered slightly, it stired a long forgotten memory. Most likely one that would be considered history now.

History, his being one that would remain a secret. Laws of the Anubi bound him to scilence. He knew where everything was, every temple, every treasure, every creature, and every power source. He wandered to find answers, he helps people along the way, he knows healing arts of an ancient and powerful kind. Always asking questions, trying to find out what could have caused it. Why he wasn't affected, and why everyone he loved died. That was his quest, his other quest was to prevent it from happening again. So far he hadn't gotten far in either.

  8. Kyofu smirked at his words before turning her attention towards the aktrieor as well. She smirked on it and how it's curiousity would be it's down fall. She lifts herself up on her elbows before casting out a silver change that appeared from her hand towards the aktrieor, attempting to get a hold of it. She tugged back on the chain and looked over towards Paush with a grin as she tugged the creature if she was lucky to get it, "Ty iyo uja tsell taujkhemd vyj sha umtfaj...nuira iyo thyolp deba og ym es. Iyo uja futsemd iyo leva ym tokh u gyemslatt taujkh." She spoke as she gave another tug.

  9. ((Sorry, sorry for my tardiness. My net went down at home but I was heading back to school anyway so...I'm here. Sorry if this first one is might to be confusing :( ))

Grits of sand spirled and swirled in pattern before it sprayed about, parting as a long scaled formed emerged night-tainted desert. The snake coilded itself on a rock tighter than huggled stuffed animal until. After a while, the creature soon relingished its grip and nested its head on the cooled sand laying on a small blanket of its blue mane. As its stay motionlessly, it emit a soft, opaque glow as its size reduced until was no longer surronding the rock. Only then, its stopped with a pendragon figured laying in the sands, regarded that her legs stilled remained as a single pieces of slitering flesh.

Nadyna seemed to have stare at the ground for longest until she rose against the stone until her back was lined with it. Rapid rhytms from her diapragm and the shaking her body noted her about one thing. It was the very long time she has let that part of her go free, let it roam the sand freaking out maybe one or two travelers as her spine barbs remained emerged like a line of many dangerous snarks.

It seems that despite the bloodline that mixed into her like oil and water, they both satifed in the desert, never or less. She could only recall tibits her first trip here, it was the first and last time she was allowed to leave the island. An exhibition set by her father who was the head of the Naja clan, to track down the informant words about reminding ruins of their anicent capital city. No one but her knew it was a ruse for her death, hoping that the desert conditions would claim her. On the contary, she was the only survivor of the group.

She don't really remember if it was this desert or the other two that exist. As of now, she didn't seem to care for it that much. Now she was talking her vacation away from the organized butchering in Bhim for some more freespirt recooperation...maybe a little bloodshen on the side in the opportunity presents its self Right now, all that time in her snake form as bulit a parchness in her thoat.

She undid the squared pad on side and unfurled the cloak. Standing up and looking for a source of water as she clasped it around her body although the wings did a bit more injustice at making the dressing appear stuble. Growling with soft pique, she toss the cloak aside. She only took a wish in her mind before she turn into grains of sands before diappearing.

She appeared on a dune before a small oasis. "Sometimes, I wish that you don't grant my wishes" she silently cursed at her own power, maybe at a myterious force. Two dragon seem to have been talking at the distance, but as long as they don't bother her, she would feel like doing the same. She apporached the water as her tail became legs before she was within eyesight, giving them less reason to be interested in her.

  10. Paush was greatly offened. He would never give up his search, the answer had to be found or history would be doomed to repeat itself. He would never have that happen, if it did he would never forgive himself. He survived for some reason...he had to find it...and save the rest of his people.

<span style='color:red'>Yoj gaygla fyolp pea uduem! Sha umtfaj nots ra vyomp, yj ull shyta fhy leba myf nui bumeth. Yoj cemp uja peaemd, shai caag sha takjast, ros sha takjast uja tlyfli raemd vyjdyssam. Ev shai uja, yoj juka nui ra vyjdyssam ump ull shus fa huba duem fell huba raam lyts."

    </span>

He watched as she reached out with a energy chain to the bird. Something was still bugging him about it. He noticed the new comer, he did not care though. It seemed strange to see a normal pendragon out this time of night.

<span style='color:red'>Tynashemd hut dyma hyjjerli fjymd em sha fyjlp yostepa sha patajs. E vauj fa nui ra rlunap. Ev ty shaja nui ra hyjevvek shemdt pyma sy yoj gaygla...sha takjast nui ra las yos. Ev shus huggamt, ull yv ot uja lyts.</span>

  11. Kyofu smirked at the words of Paush as he continued to preach on and on. She shakes her head and looks back to him before releasing the chain and chuckles. "Pyyntpui jomt em iyoj buemt pyatm's Paush. Iyo hubam's khumdap u res temka luts sena fa huba nas. Ump rakepat ev yoj cemp hut raam khyytam sy ra fegap yvv sha glumas. Ty ra es..." She spoke to him as she lifted herself up onto her feet and stretched out before walking over towards the waters edge looking down at the watery surface. Glares a bit at her own reflection before swiping it away from view.

She reaches her hand back into the water and brings it ot placing it over her face lightly wincing a bit before drawing it back. "Pyatm's huba umishemd sy py fesh na umihyf. Angsi fyjpt iyo tgauc..." She spoke once more before drawing her attention towards the coming 'dragon grins upon it noticing another female before she pulls herself up to her feet. Casts her eyes down on the female for a short moment before extending her damp hand. "Well, well, it seems that you have moved off the beatin' path love. Where are you coming from?" Kyofu spoke in a kind of disrepectful tone before slipping her two eyes shut with the single one in the middle of her forehead looked upon the female still.

  12. She was aimed toward the oasis first, someone's question second...or not even third, she wouldn't give a damn. Walking to the water as if she couldn't hear either of them, she thought of nothing, could distact herself with nothing. Serri, Bhim, Black Casino..none of this crossed her mind nor has it rewritten her personal rule as for being alive for herself and rewriting the post to suit her. Although aware that she was being watched somehow, she bent down in front of the water, capturing a gittering pond within her paws.

"I have no idea of what love you mistake me for, can't say I care either." She responsed just as disrespectfully before lifting her cupped hands towards her nuzzle, accepting the sweet content into her throat, "and I came from where I left. . .sorry, your business doesn't expend no futher than that." She released the moisture, letting it twinkling raindrops on the oasis's surface. She rosed again without looking at either of them, simply straighten her anicent dark hue kilt, with silver links around the pleated band on her waist. Short hemlined shirt covered her chest midway to her breasts untraced by anything metallic to indicated it was there. Her moisted hand reached to back her hair and nudging her ears unexpectedly. There were times that she didn't know it was there. She had a theory that her ears were meant to be pointed and longer, like some wild jackel or another desert dog. Instead, they grew short and worse, angled upwards and behind her, that they seem to hide into her hair. The only thing that could be done was to curse those mixed genes of her. Really, she wanted some peace enough to braid her mane so she can make her aimless travel less haressing.

  13. Kyofu quirked a brow at the response of the pendragon infront of her. She smirked and tossed her head back shaking it slowly in thought before slipping her eyes closed with the single one looking upon the female. "Wow...a little 'dragon with a big mouth. You interest me well." She spoke as she swayed a bit in the upcoming blowing wind before dropping down onto her knees. She looks down towards the ground with a smirk as she placed all of her hands flat against the ground. Blue energy flows out from beneath her hands as she lifted herself up from the ground causing four spears of the same to rise up from the ground with the tips face down. Shakes her head slowly once more and looks back to the 'dragon with a cocked head, thinking again.

"Well, since you are such a spoil sport. Can you at least share your name with me? Or am I just waste my breath on you?" She spoke once more flipping one of the spears up and placing it handle down into the sand before leaning over against it with her now golden eyes gazing upon the female. Indeed she was a pendragon but she was hidding something much more, much deeper beneath that of her cursed flesh that begged to be removed.

  14. Paush rolled his head, since rolling his eyes would do nothing as there were no pupils to roll. As he did he noticed a white flash, and before he realized it...it was against his leg. It was a white Cucu who was pawing at his leg and smiling at him.

<span style='color:red'>"Little Dos, what brings you here...I know Hathor wouldn't send you so you come on your own accord."</span>

He scooped the Cucu up who was purring. The Cucu itself was a very strange one, it looked more like an Earth Lynx and did not act like a normal one. It was kind and gentle, and timid, making it strange and under different circumstances it would be killed. It hid something...something violent...something that kept it alive. Much like Paush, they were fighters even though they disguised it.

  15. Nadyna let out a silent hiss. Not a threatening one, it come out more like a sigh in a sense. "If you that annoying persistent about me, then....Nadyna"

She bought her hands so the water will shower her face this time. Tempted to bound her loosen hair so grabed a bound-full with her hand. Yet, she was not so relieved to have someone watching her move as they bought out spears for whatever the reason, thus she tore off a striped of leatherbark from the oasis out-growing reed and make a rough ribbon to tie down into a ponytail.

"Is that all you wanted or have you found another reason to pester me more?" She sighed passed perturbence.

  16. Kyofu crosses her arms over and looks down on Nadyna as she sat there next to the oasis. Shakes her head lightly before snapping her upper left hand fingers causing the spears to vanish as quick as they came. She reaches her left hand up and slips it along the side of her face lightly before dropping it to her side. "Nice to...meet you I guess. Name's Kyofu..." She spoke with a quirked brow as she moved over pass the vixen dropping down on the ground leaning back against one of the very few palm trees along side the pond. Reaches her hands up and places them behind her head looking out over the desert infront of her view before looking back to Nadyna as she spoke. A glare slipped pass her eyes as she looked to Nadyna before turning away. "Well, then this will be a very short meeting then...for the both of us." She spoke softly turning her blue eyes into the direction of the ground as her flesh whipped out with flame.

  17. Paush sighed. The last thing he needed right now was blood shed. There need not to be large scale war here tonight. Still cradling the Cucu softly, he placed it down just incase he need to defend himself.

<span style='color:red'>"Fighting is not required you two, so be wary of what you do next.</span>

He knew that it might not stop them from fighting but, it was worth a try. He didn't mind a little summon fighting, but no one gets hurt in one of those. Real fighting he did not like, as hurting other Pendragons was not usually in his nature...He was more defensive then offensive anyway.

<span style='color:red'>"I'm sorry for my friends disturbance of you, I am Paush. It does seem rather strange for one that is not from the desert to be out this late in the desert. There are things that live here that you'd not want to be up against. Things of old and new that are quite evil in their doings and undoings."</span>

He was very serious as he said that. He knew the deserts well along with all its creatures, and things that are not alive enough to be called creatures.

  18. Cynik leaped as a foot was caught in the clutch of magic. Disgruntled, but unable to make any pendragon noise, is left to squawk, which sounded real enough - any stray bird caught in the grasp of magic would be confused, frightened, and perhaps a bit pissed.

Should he break the grasp of the magic? He was a telepath, if he wanted to distract the caster mentally he could without so much as a sigh or a blink. But should he? Would it cause his position to be given away?

But was being given away worth getting away with his life? If they caught him and tried to put him over a fire on a spit for a late night meal, he'd have no choice but to shapeshift back.

He allows himself to be dragged as long as he notices the femme who had cast the reeling magic was then distracted with her argument which involved another campfire member. He searched her mind then, and was not surprised with what he found. Murders were common in his line of work - there was nary a person he didn't come across in odd places who hadn't killed, and this wasn't the first assassin's mind he had searched. So he was not impressed. Though, Cynik was never impressed, dull creature that he is.

As soon as he had silently rifled through her distracted mind - it would take a telepath of equal power to notice his mental presence - he momentarily disables the portion of her brain which was focusing on reeling him in. If he were lucky, she would think nothing of it. If unlucky, she would try and cast him again, this time with renewed vigor.

He ran for it, as any aktrieor would. If he escaped, he would be back in time. The campfire parties would not escape his sleuthing.

  19. "I'm very aware of that, mind you. . . as I can be one of them" Nadyna told him with a leer. She laid her feet out into the water, watching her opalic eyes catch glimmers of light that no ones notices when water.

She allowed her to look less harmful for once in a few years. Many days of pillaging and thoughtless murder somehow bother her than most warlords. Other will eventlly have this godlike ego, believing that nothing could stop them. Those kind die in the worst of ways. Nadyna did not need to end her life so soon. While she may had the worst of beginning because of her breed, she found it better not to act like a Ophidian or the other race she was carrying and to act ...

    ...like herself.

"There are caverns buried in the sand..." Nadyna answered Paush neutally. "They don't reveal themselves unless you submerged inside one of them, but come across them there is air to breath, Opacialite (black sand) to observe, and silence to revel in. To me, they're my personal art of a vacation."

  20. Paush froze.

Does she know? If so who let her out? Which one did she find? Is any secret out?

All this was going thru his mind. He knew of the caverns in the sand, some of them ment nothing to him, others ment everything.

<span style='color:red'>"Ah...but there are other things here that descive even the wisest eye. For example, that Cucu cowering over there, would you belive he has killed 3 pendragons? He may run at the smallest noise and love to be pet. Somethings that you may do may cause him to attack though and show another form. Things are different here, this is the Territory of the Dark. Night is a time of doing things, and mystery abounds. Welcome to the Uhai.</span>

He smirked, this was his warning given to all those who crossed his path in this desert. He had seen many die over the years, none at his hands though. He had always been a bystander, killing was not in his nature. He belived that dishonoring your oponnant was enough. Thats all he ever did, he had no wish to kill.
