1. Quarter: Tessera (Autumn)
Day: 1
Year: 81377 (3)

A female blue 'dragon stood on a raised platform, holding a clipboard, in an empty classroom. On the board, it read 'Professor Sedna Cematet - Elemental Kinesis'
She paced bakewards and forwards slightly, waiting for students to register for her class.

OOC: Ok, This class is for those who want to learn the magic of manipulating the things around them (Pyrokinesis, Electrokinesis, Cryo, Crono, Bio etc)
Sedna majors in Cryokinesis, but will teach the basics of all. [IMG] Please join my class!

EDIT: Like Zeva said, it does not involve chants, or spells. I've asked Spectra about this, and she'll be putting an info page up soon. Make sure you know what deities are responsible for what, you'll need to know that during this course.

2. \\ OOC: Purely OOC comment for anybody who may be confused: this is NOT the same as the Elemental Sorcery trade. [IMG]

Elemental Scorcery is done (generally) by spells which you either say aloud or in your head. Just about everyone can be an elemental sorcerer because it doesn't require an intimately close connection to Fronima.

The Kinesis trades you generally only know one variations extensively (and usually know only one, anyway) as the Kinesis trades mean you are exceptionally attuned to Fronima. You can manipulate an element without the use of spells, just thoughts on what you want to do. Very powerful stuff. And very difficult to do when starting out, unless your character has exceptional talent. It would also be advantageous if your character was aware of the deities, and knew whom to appease.. [IMG]

Just thought I'd clear that up, so nobody expected to be taught spells, and then was completely confuzzled by what goes on. hehe! [IMG]

3. Quarter: Tessera (Autumn)
Day: 1
Year: 81377 (3)

::Daemon slowly walked her way to the front of the classroom, her claws clicking on the floor beneath her, she reached the front and looked at the teacher:: my name is Daemon J... i would like to register ::she smiled slightly, and folded her large wings back, her golden yellow eyes just shining in the lights:: i hope everything will be ok ::she stepped back and waited::

4. ::Ace squeezes threw the door, his wings barely fitting:: Is this the kinesis course? :: Ace looks at his map.:: I would like to sign up if possible. ::Ace flies down tword the bottom of the room:: My name is Ace Drakon

5. Prof. Sedna smiled slightly, and wrote down the names. "Please, take a seat. I'll be with you in a minute." She proceded to take notes, on the looks of the 'dragons, and how they acted. Interesting...very interesting.. She looked up, and met their eyes. "As you can see, I am Professor Sedna Cematet. Let me tell you that before we begin, that Elemental Kinesis is not easy. Many do not have the patience that it requires, and give up after a short while. However, stick with it, and you have powerful magic in your paws. There are Seven Kinesises; Biokinesis, Electrokinesis, Pyrokinesis, Aerokinesis, Telekinesis, Chronokinesis and Cryokinesis. Most 'dragons only master one type, I myself use Cryokinesis; the manipulation of water in all it's forms.
To use kinesis, you do not say a magic word, or think one. It is the conection to Fronima, and the Gods that supplys the power. Now, who can tell me who the Gods we will be using are?
. She looked around expectantly.

6. ::Daemon nodded to the teacher and walked to her desk and took a seat, her tail flicking against the cold floor, she spoke::

The Gods are: Ied-nehlt, which is the demi-godess of Electrokinesis, Renn-nukhs which is the demi-god of Aerokinesis, Aidlt. which is the demi-godess of BioKinesis, Tejas which is the demi-goddess of Cryokinesis and Ydjad which is the demi-god of Chronokinesis, Reda which is the Demi-god of Pyrokinesis and last but not least Tanastlasei who controls Telekinesis....

::Daemon slowly folded her ears back and places her hands firmly on the desk::

7. Ace raises his hand but is a moment to late, he sighs and jotted down the question and its answer on a sheet of paper."Telekinesis" he finished and sat attentivly. His tail flame burned bright like it always did when he was excited.

8. Sedna smiled "Very good.". She looked at her students, obviously both excited. She smiled to herself, and thought Ah yes. They can't wait to begin. Wonder how long it'll take until they begin to hate me, for they must think Kinesis is easy. "Excellent. Now, onto some practical work. She smiled again, as both 'dragons grinned. "We will start with some meditation exercises" She stepped forward. "Now. I want you to focus. Empty all thoughts from your head, and do not think of anything. Think of your body and mind as a smooth rock. Still, unmooving, yet incredibly strong."

9. ::Daemon listening to the teacher speak, she sat there her tail slowly swaying back and fourth and her arms resting in the desk, she closed her eyes, and let her mind be at ease, relaxed and in comfort she sat there... not moving...::

10. OOC: Sorry for not being on!

IC: Sedna paced around her students, watching them, occasionally reprimanding them for moving, or not concentrating properly. "Keep still!" she said, as one's eyelid twitched. "Focus!" as she felt one's thoughts drifting. "Kinesis requires you to be able to empty your head. Any unwanted thoughts to cause to spell to go wrong. Say, for example. You thought of a particular female while casting a fire spell. That female could be forced to burn for all eternity. You must focus.". Harsh, perhaps, but necessary. They can't make the same.. She felt one mind slip again and snapped"Focus! How many times do I have to tell you!" and so the class continued.

11. OOC: Whoot! Kenesis class! Exactly what I were looking for. [IMG]

IC: Xamuke quietly walked into the room, with his Sjaa Tmuka slithering around his feet.
"Is this the elemental kensis class?" he whispered. While he was talking, the Tmuka slithered up on a desk.

12. OOC; Welcome!

IC: Sedna felt the two students beginning to sink into a semi-true meditation. Not bad...not bad at all really, for beginners.. Then, a 'dragon walked in, and said "Is this the elemental kensis class?" shattering the peaceful atmosphere.

Sedna sighed, it could not be helped. "Yes it is. What is your name, child?" She grappeb her clipboard, and turned to the other 'dragons. "You two! Quiet! Continue your focusing excercises!" she snapped. Turning back to the new 'dragon, she said "Why have ou brought this Tmuka to my class?

OOC: Sorry guys. Sedna's not really mean, just strict. And to Excube, she's not angry with you, she's just a bit annoyed. Welcome to the thread!

13. ooc: wow your back ~gglz~ just playin with yah

bic: Daemon continued with her exercises, wondering who this newcomer was and why the teacher was being so snappy with him, but she ignore her thoughts and cleared her mind, falling into a very restfull and peacefull state::

14. "Um... My name is Xamuke Bloodscale." He looked around a bit nervously, and then he continued. "Tmuka? You mean Thaina? Oh, she won´t cause any trouble... I guess..."

15. The door was pushed ajar once again, and a Pendragon's head peeped round the frame. His green eyes flashed around the class, narrowing at the sight of the two concentrating Pendragons and then loooking to Sedna. The Pendragon pushed through the opening and shut the wooden door with a soft thud. He stood on all fours, his yellow red flame dancing about the tip of his tail, his ears perked up excitedly. He looked Sedna straight into the eye as he spoke:

"Good morning. Please excuse my late arrival, I was sent here from the other end of the building, into a new class changed in the last minute. I would like to study Elemental Kinesis, if you still have a free space in your class. Oh, and by the way, my name is Rallyn Luckest."

His face mustered a somewhat pleading look for a moment, then Rallyn turned his gaze away and waited for the reply, twitching nervously every little while. He was a small, agile-looking black Pendragon, with the slightest hints of dark green at the edges of his scales. The scales turned to green where his belly was and continued on the lower side of his neck up to his chin.

16. Sedna's ears flicked slightly, a sign of slight annoyance. "Very good. Welcome to my class, both of you. Be sure to collect the note's you've missed from your class mates. Now, be seated, and we will resume our meditation." She watched as her students began to settle down, and she looked at the Tmuka - Thaina, laying obiediently on the desk. A strange class. None-the-less, that is to be expected... she thought as she resumed her pacing around the students.

17. He smiled, thanking the teacher silently in his mind. Looking around briefly, taking in the class and the other concentrating Pendragons in a new light, he chose a spot next to a male with large wings, who had evidently been here for a longer time, for his paper was covered in notes. Rallyn sat down, squinting at his neighbour's paper and quickly copying the names of the different deities, his ink pen, which he dipped frequently in a small inkstand half-full with green color, scratching over the smooth surface of the paper. It was strange for young Nioti like him to use quills and ink, when all the 'dragons around his age were usually set on the newest ball-point pens with tufts of multi colored feathers sticking from one end, electronical writers or even small personal computers. Yet Rallyn considered stydying, and anything academy-related for ancient and worth gasping in ave at. He wanted to become a part of the ancient walls, corridors and stony classrooms, at least by writing in the most old-fashioned way anyone could imagine (apart from crafting in stone or pulling beads on strings of course...).

He was finished, and he lay down his quill, his gaze fleeing towards the others. They appeared to be relaxing, or in some trance... or... mediatation? Whatever it was, Rallyn had no idea what to do. He thought he was just supposed to relax and be at piece with the world, but he was too scared of upsetting any fragile balance that Sedna may have restored upon the minds of her students. So he just put up his hand, and silently, confusedly looked towards the teacher.

18. Xamuke sat down at the desk next to the winged female, where Thaina had slithered up. He looked at the papers on her desk, and begun to write down all of the deities. When he was done, he stroked the Tmuka along her scaly back.

19. ooc Excube.. im not sure if you are referring to me or not as the winged female? sorry if your not im just going to base my post as if you are?

bic:

::Daemon smiled as the other sat beside her, she folded her wings back and just sat there, she waited until the teacher was not looking and said softly and quietly::

hey.. im Daemon

::she then extended her hand, and smiled softly, her lips gently resting on one another, her smile seems to lighten the room::

20. Sirius padded in as quietly as she could, even doing her best to keep her purple tipped tail from flickering. She knew these students needed to concetrate, and she was not about to intrude upon that. She had some spare time on her paws at the moment, and she could think of nowhere she had to be at the moment. After all, she had spent far too long developing her own magic, fire and lightning. To learn two was twice as much work, but she had felt she needed to for some reason even she herself was not sure why, It was why she did not have anyone to hang out with now, and she hardly knew anyone even after being here for so long.

An apprentice like herself could never know too much she finally decided, and that led to her being here. "May I sit in and watch?" she asked Sedna as quietly as she could, hoping she was not being rude or interrupting anything.

OOC: I hope this post is all right. If not feel free to tell me
