Skye pulled her wet body from the lake, laying down on the shore spreading her black feather wings, wanting desperately for them to dry out so that she could fly around and practice, perhaps, a few dives or so. She looked idly at the calm waters of the lake. She needed something to do while she waited for the sun to dry her wings. She lifted her paw and muttered a simple encantation and in a moment a wave, coming from no where, was rushing towards shore. Damn Skye had a tendancy to not think about her spells before doing them, and usually she ended up making a fool over herself, even if it was only to her own mind. The wave continued its path towards her. What was that spell again? Something about reversing... It was too late for poor Skye, whose wings had almost dried. A few seconds after she had spoke the rather large wave crashed down on her, soaking her yet again. She couldn't help laughing to herself even though she wished that she could for once think about her actions, if she had she would have been up in the sky by now. At that point Skye heard a sound, most likely another 'dragon, but she didn't bother to investigate, it was probably just some old tourist, she even laughed at the idea of one of those fellows seeing an entirely black vampdragon sitting on the clean shores of the Magi Lake, wings spread out, soaking wet and laughing at herself. OOC: sorry that I keep adding that Skye hears something at the end of all her posts...but vampdragons are supposed to have fantastic hearing and I can't have anyone sneaking up on her...
Out of Character

Who: Fen Wearing: Jeans, black sneakers, leather jacket, no shirt.

Fen moved in a manner he thought was silently, through the woods. Weary of the sticks and stones on the worn path that led to a small clearing. His eyes kept a good distance from where he was so he was aware of what was ahead of him he pressed on. Jeeze, I could have sworn the lake was closer than this. He whispered to himself. A drakon skirted in front of where his foot was about to fall, and due to reflexes he simply layed his foot forward some more... and managed to snap a dry twig. There was a sniggering in the back of his mind and he scowled. Don't you dare say anything. Me? Make you feel like an idiot? Never... Ulf thought sarcastically. Finally coming upon the shore of the lake Fen sighed, yes it was still the place he remembered, no it was not empty. Hey, at least she's cute... Ulf thought, as though it made a huge difference. Fen shrugged, Ulf did make a point, but still. And before he knew what he was doing... Hey.
So it wasn't an old tourist, Skye realized, looking over when she heard someone speaking to her. Her eyes failed her not, there was a male 'dragon, silvery black in fur, handsome in the face. She looked down at herself, she had sdried somewhat but was still mostly wet, not the best way to greet a male. Hey. And you are? Skye had never been good at resisting temptation and as she spoke she couldn't help adding a little 'honey' to her voice, and looking at the male with her bright green eyes. She was still lying in down, in a somewhat awkward position but she didn't much care, she was hoping the guy wasn't paying too much attention to how she was lying down...
Fen looked the thill over, her damp black fur clung to her body rather nicely. In the back of his mind he could already invision what Ulf was thinking. He blinked and in the short period of time he changed his eyes from their normal ones to their feral counterparts. He watched the thill some more before realizing that he was staring. The name is Fen. He said. Aren't you going to introduce me? came a voice from the back of his mind. Are you fucking kidding me? Last time I introduced you to some one, who was drunk at the time she thought I was some kind of monster. Touché Fen shrugged and walked up closer to the thill, he smelled the remnants of some thing coppery, he thought it was blood, but quicky dismissed the idea. He sat down next to her and put his arms behind himself to prop him up. Shouldn't you be at school or something? He asked, referring to the fact it was clearly not the weekend.
Skye continued to watch him. She had had enough experience with boys to know that he was staring at her. She couldn't help smirking. But she stopped when she realized that she was staring too. I'm Skye. Skye wondered briefly why Fen seemed so...well his face made him seem like he had a lot going on inside his head. She wondered what those thoughts were about but then pushed the hought out of her mind. Ha. School? I rarely make appearances there. For a fleeting moment she realized that she was dry but that small thought was pushed out by many others. What are your trades? If you don't mind me asking... Skye smiled again shifting her position so that she was facing Fen, and had moved slightly closer.
Fen nodded, he showed up at schol for exams... that was it, and even then he had a habit of missing some of them too. My trades? Acrobatics and escape artistry. I mean life fundumentals include being able to get yourself out of a jail cell with out a key, right? Fen said, smirking. Oh yeah, and life's fundumentals also include being able to kill some folks and then sprinting eight towns over. Shut up. What about you and your trades? You look like you have intresting trades.
Skye smiled at what Fen had said. True, very true. Skye looked at him longingly, she hadn't talked to a guy in ages, let alone actually had somesort of relationship. Talking to Fen seemed to bring it all back, yet somehow in a good way. Well...it is an odd combination, I will say that. Cryokinesis and Flying. At least yours seem to connect. What use could controling water be if you flying through the air? Skye smiled again. She couldn't help thinking of how wonderful and warm this male must be, or at least his blood. But even the thought scared her and she was once again glad that the sun was only just rising.
Ah, flying, how I envy you. The closest I come to that is jumping, high, but not really flying. He said. There was a 'hrm' from the back of his mind. She's giving you that look. What look? That 'How can you resist me?' look. Ulf, there is more to life than drugs, killing people and sex now leave me alone. Why did someone not inform me of this new developement? Ulf asked, comically before sniggering and fading out. Fen's gaze seemed to become less fazed and blank. He looked Skye over, he had to admit, Ulf was right about this one... maybe. You wanna' go for a walk? He asked, not quite realizing what he was saying at the time.
Skye giggled. She usually despised giggling...but for some reason thats what came out instead of laughing. Well, you're trades aren't so bad either! She looked up at Fen curiously after he had asked her for a walk. She assumed that he was flirting, but yet he could be being polite, or just felt like going on a walk. She rose, she shook herself, exagerating and laughing as droplets of water flung everywhere including Fen. Sure. Skye said once the laughter had subsided. So what's your story? How has life treated you so far?
Fen chuckled as Skye shook herself dry, getting some water drops on him in the process. He took off his coat as it had gotten most of the water and hung it over his arm. So you walk on four legs? Fen said. This was somewhat of an anomaly to him after spending most of his life in Bhim where all of the traders and con artists that cared to bother with him walked on two legs. Well it doesn't make her look any worse, in fact- Shut up. Pushy aren't we? Fen shook his head, it was about time he took up that doctor's option, maybe quite Ulf. I heard that...
Skye smiled, no one ever walked on four legs these days. Just for Fen's satisfaction she stood up on two legs, she ended up being slightly shorter than the male. Well, usually on my own I do...but sometimes I forget how things work and walk on all fours when someone else is there. Skye wondered vaguely where they were going, but she didn't dwell on it and tried to start a conversation instead. You never answered my question. How has life treated you? Or is it too sad to talk about? I get that a lot...
Fen smirked a bit as Skye stood up. Oh life hasn't been all that bad, I mean hey, being turned to a weredragon, getting sent to prison more than a few times and not knowing your parents isn't that bad in the long run. It's not like I've had people telling me to do this or that my whole life, which would have just sucked, but yeah... I thought the plan was that you get the thill drunk efore you tell her anything... Sure, but she doesn't seem all that young herself, i mean there are only a few ways to be immortal sounding here, and i seriously doubt she was abused as a kid, i mean look at her. Captain obvious makes a decent point! Fen chuckled to himself as he and Skye walked some through the woods. What about yourself? He asked.
Skye smiled after his talk about his life, but she was only doing it for show, she had barely listened to anything he had said after the part about being turned intoa weredragon. Fen's story was exactly like her but it was similar. Oh, well my life compared to yours...it seems...has been gold. No prison. Knew my parents. You were turned into a weredragon? When? Where? By who? Do you know? Skye hadn't actually meant to bombarde Fen with questions about what might be a difficult subject but though she had obviously known there were people who had experienced the same kind of thing as her, being turned into something your not, she hadn't actually met any of those people.
When? Age 7. Where? Black Market brawl, dunno how or who, but remember that much... I probably stole something and someone or several someones got pissed. Dunno. He said with a shrug. They walked in silence for a bit. How about you, you say compared to me life has been gold for you, but that's it. Fen said. He reajusted the collar around his neck so that the snaps weren't boring into the side of his neck.
In the moments of silence after Fen had spoke of becoming a werewolf Skye prepared. She assumed that Fen would notice somesort of connection with her eagerness about him being a werewolf and assumed he'd say something about it. She generally kept that she was vamp to herself, mainly because it just seemed to dangerous and it wouldn't help her getting food either, people don't usually warm up to bloodsucking vamps often. And then he spoke again. Not exactly as she had predicted but close enough. Well, maybe I lied...most of my life was gold compared to you. When I was younger probably about 11 or 12 (badd memory) I was became a vamp. So...sometimes that can be considered a 'not-so-bad' thing, I mean your hearing goes way up and you can control your shadow...but it isn't exactly fun to turn other people into yourself when you get really hungry. I don't usually tell people that...so be happy. Skye smiled, trying to lighten the mood and then added, So how do like being a weredragon?? Same as me? Sometimes good sometimes bad, or what?
Fen was taken aback that Skye would admit to being a Vamp, although he had said that he was a were so, he could only assume. He'd had friends that were vamps, although one thing led to another and he either wound up killing them with good reason, or someone else did. He put an arm lightly around her shoulder. Well it's not bad, it helps me keep in shape and what not, but on the downside, i've been labeled as having both schitzophrenia and multipule personality disorder because of my other side. So it depends how you look at it. He said.
Skye slumped slightly into Fen as they walked when he put his arm around her shoulders. This was nice, just the two of them walking through the woods. Yeah it's the same here, with the multiple personalities...I usually try to go against my 'vamp' side, though. Skye looked down for a moment and then said, trying to lighten the mood a little, So, are you from around here? OOC: Sry...ran out of things to say :P
Fen shrugged. I've tried going against the were side a few times, although when he's got complete control over my actions every once in a while, it gets a little tough. He said. I'm actually not from around here, think Black Market. I've got friends there, they're pretty cool about a lot of things. I mean a few weres a vamp or two, some mutants and just some real odd folks... You? Out of Character

Sorry the post is so short... braindead

Skye looked over at Fen curiously. He must have had a tough life. She knew that it was hard to be a vamp...obviously because she was one...but she also knew that it must be even harder to be a were. Mainly because she had heard that when the were's go through their 'transformations' they basically loost control. She doubted that she would be able to go against her were self if she had one...like Fen did. She admired him for that. Oh. I'm from Gyakusatsu. You've been there right? Well I was born there and lived there for the earlier part of my life. Skye looked around. Fen and her had been talking and walking for longer than she thought. It was already nearing midday.
I know the Gyakusatsu, according to some folks that knew my father that's where he met my mother. I don't know, but i've been traipsing around there for a bit, uprooting a few trees, pissing off a few residents. Basically being the general hell raiser that I am. He said. As Skye looked about so did he, he noticed that the sky was quite light, some of the sunlight shining through the thick canopy of leaves casting a greenish light on everything. He led Skye off the path a bit to where the leaves were thicker and larger, the less-traveled path was darker than the other one, it still led in the general direction of the tunnels, but it wasn't as direct as the other path. Out of Character

Sorry for taking so long, I was grounded and then I totally lost all ideas in my head *scuttles off to post in other threads*
