Timestamp! (Is this right?) Year: 81380 Season: Dyo Day: 1 Nehlt-Sena (Daytime) & Orca| The winds picked up, howling like a mad woman, soon joined by an actual mad woman who was picking her way through the jagged rocks, glacial landforms, and rather deep snow. She had just cut herself on a thick, icy rock, and was bleeding profusely from an arm wound. She tore a chunk of bandages off of her legs and wrapped a strip around her arm. For some reason unknown to sanity, she was wearing no clothes - only her usual black leather bag at her back, but she didn't seem to be cold. The reason for this soon became apparent wen her fur caught fire, melting nearby snow. She closed her eyes and it stopped, but the point came across clear - she was obviously pyrokenetic. The wind - and it was just the wind, this time - picked up, and the dark clouds overheard burst. Snow poured as much sideways as down as it willed its way through the dark sky, and a thunderclap echoed through the air, bringing with it a frigid, icy scent. Orca sighed and scrambled up the next boulder, looking in vain at a small, raggedy map she held in her hand. She tossed it aside and wrapped her huge wings around herself, jet-black hair falling neatly about her as she spotted what she was looking for. There, in the rocky cliffs, was a dark opening that could only lead to a cave.
Out of Character

Who:Femsaj Khumsajalla Wearing:NOTHING!She's a quad!

Femsaj was gliding through the winds with ease. Although Dyo wasn't her thing she loved the cold. She looked like a cloud full of lightning ready to burst, trying to find a target. She twisted and turned, dove around, and hovering. She, being in a good mood, was just kind of skimming the ground, hind paws brushing. The wind wasn't her problem, it was the fact that in Dyo it seemingly got warmer. Now to most it was freezing here all year round, but to her she felt the change in the tempature. She swooped around, flying in circles until she saw a cave, with a small flat roof she could rest on. Also, the flat roof was good to sun herself on in this cold wasteland. She landed and looked around. Rock, rock, plain, rock, plain with small black shape from the far away, rock....oh wait, a small figure! She felt better, normally a 'dragon wouldn't come this far to see her! Oh wait more illusions of grandeur. She sighed, what she didn't realise was it really was a real 'dragon, a red one to be exact. She laied her wings out against the rock to catch the sun and relaxed. Hours of flying really took alot out of you.
Orca watched the other 'dragon, facinated she wasn't the only one there, and amazed at the things remarkable coat - it reminded her of something she couldn't quite put her finger on. The blizzard, however strong, decided to cease for awhile, and Orca morphed sleekly into her quad form, deciding to keep the hair that usualy got in her way in this form. See, Orca had something special about her, besides the pyrokeniticy and the tail-flame. Orca could change her size. Things like fur, hair and wings, she did regularily, because it took little energy - at this time, for example, she had amazingly thick and lush fur, opting for more fur and less pyrokeneticy. But when she went to warm places, she could shrink it to a mere fuzz. Orca could change her height, also, but found it tiring and had no reason to. Since her wings were already huge, Orca decided to fly up to the top of the cliff cave - and the other 'dragon - at first her wings labored, but soon she found a thermal and spiraled upward, gliding until she reached the cave roof. She landed a couple of feet away from the other pendragon and grinned. Ayoa! I'm Orca. Even one who had only bad things to say about Orca couldn't deny her outgoingness.
Picking her head up, she blinked a few times, so her eyes could re focus from being shut. She looked the small, no, tiny quad up and down and soon said "Hello, I'm Femsaj, but you can call me Fem, or Saj."Her voice had a cat-like purr to it. Now that she thought about this, the small dragon was a 'fey, not to old by the looks, and a bit over optimistic. She pulled herself up, resting on her two front fingers as if she had a whole paw. She wrapped her tail against her hind legs, and tucked the two wings on her back onto her sides. "What brings you to my favorite cold place. I'm not famous now aren't I? she said with mild sarcasm. She stretched out a feathered wing and buried her nose in it for a split second. When she pulled her head away she spat out a large tick, who appeared to have been feasting pretty well.
Orca didn't seem in the least put out by Femsaj's sarcasm. But then again, that was the way she was. Actually, I was just exploring and came across this place. I can see why it would be your favorite... Orca trailed off, looking around in awe at the view. She then looked back at Fem, and saw that she looked starved - or, possibly, just very thin by genetics. Orca decided not to mention this, which was probably smart on her part. So, I've told me why I'm here, what about you? She smiled and tilted her head, hair falling into her eyes. She shook it out quickly and swished her tail; afriad it was about to start burning her hair that she had just flicked over it. She could regrow it very quickly, but that didn't mean it was fun.
She shrugged. "Well, I do so love the snow. I don't know why, I was just born that way." she said. She lifted up her wing arm to show her. "And this is another thing I was born with that cursed me up until my late teens when I realised I was a quad, not a biped." she chuckled. She was reunning out of things to talk about, and this conversation would possibly die fast. She didn't want to bore a rare guest, but at the same time she didn't want te guest around. An odd combenation of feelings it was.
Orca nodded, secretly wishing she had wings on her arms - but then figuring it would had downsides, too. Are you electrokenetic? She asked suddenly, staring intensly at Fem. Her wings fluttered a little and her tail flickered, as if its own entity and was tittering at Orca's question. A large, white bird flew over head, blocking the sunlight for a moment and then swooping over and gliding back over their heads. It gave an undignified caw and cast Orca a sharp look. While most would not seem to think this very noteworthy, Orca glared back at it, and before anyone could blink, it burst into flame, falling to the ground in front of Orca. But it didn't die, or even sizzle out. It morphed, slowly, into a small, palefaced... 'dragon? Orca spat smoke at it and the tiny thing stumbled away, hissing and screeching. Orca gave Fem a don't ask look and rolled her eyes. My 'brother'. She said, but nothing more of the subject came out of her mouth. ooc| I do have a reason for the little white bird/pendragon.
She cast a shifty glance at the bird/critter/pendragon/thing and continued to answer her question. "Eer yes. I just happen to be electrokinetic." she still watched the girl now, with raising suspition on the whole 'brother thing, she knew what it was like to have one. I have a brother to, this is his favorite season. But me, I like Mia better. But my brother, he likes to draw maps and navigat unexplored places, he takes after my mom, but me, I'm like my dad, I like to know whats where in a certain amount of area in a certain area, and know nothing outside the boudaries. Though I do have a few other...terretories as you could call them outside this one." She took a deep breath, that was alot for one breath full.
Orca nodded, knowning how different families could be from eachother - that was why she had left, after all. It's not that they didn't love her or treat her well, or anything, the just didn't understand her. At most of the time, she didn't think they had tried to. Really? Winter is my favorite time of year, too, but I like exploring. Theres always something more to see. Despite this, however, Orca seemed to be fine with standing and chatting with Fem. As if realizing just now she was standing, Orca sat down and continued speaking. So, you're electrokinetic... I've never met an electrokinetic before.
"Well, just the same as being a pyro, cryo, or even biokinetic. Just you control a certain element" she felt the blizzard start up again. "Want to take this convesation into the cave?"she asked, concerned for Orca. She began to climb down the rockface as if she wwas a gecko or something. When she got to the bottom she climbed into the cave. This was one of her caves that she slept in, not very decorated, but there was a small storage of freeze dried food on a high shelf, and a large mat of grass with a couple of beds,in case she ever had a guest.
Orca nodded again, and gave a small smile. I suppose, it just seems that pyrokinetics, like me, aren't very rare anymore, but I've never met an electrokinetic before. She looked up to the sky, watching the dark clouds gather once more and followed Saj into the cave. Orca had been sleeping outside as often as not for half of her life, so to her the cave was a luxury she didn't take for granted. She walked and looked around, then cast an appraising glanse at Femsaj. It defenitly beats the places I've been sleeping lately!
"Well the beds arn't very comfterble, for one thing. And the mat isn't fun to sit on." she said climbing up to her self of food. "Do you want you or me to cook the meal?"she asked bringing down some meat from a local mammal, and some roots from a local herb. She also dissapeared down the back of the cave and came back with two stone cups full of water. She set it up like a dinner, stone plates, stone silverware. All stuff she carved out of the wall.
Orca made a face. You do not want me cooking. Food poisioning is my only specialty. She looked at the silverware and back to Fem, and went to sit on the grassy mat - it wasn't very comfortable, but it was better then the stone, cold floor. She heard a crackling and looked down to see that her tail was burning a whole in the grass mat! She swore in Ramathian and flicked her tail over to the cold floor, and looked to Fem. Eh. Sorry. She looked back at the fist sized whole in the mat. Can I make it up to you?
She pulled more grass down from the roof and replaced the hole. "You don't need to, 'tis fine with me." She took the food and sent electricity into it, it was then served steming hot. She did the same to her food and mixed the root in her water for a fizzy drink that looked like soda. "Eat up" she said making a toast with her cup.
Orca smiled and took a plate and a sip of the drink, drinking about half of it in one sip. She then realized this was probably rude. She then started eating the meat, closing her eyes and savoring the juicy meat. You don't know how long its been since I've had food this good. Then again, I've been eating only my own cooking lately, and I can't say any good about that besides 'it has nutrients.' She paused, and then added something. Thanks.
"The meat bearers are pletiful in this land, easy to catch and kill, and thier meat is good too." she said taking a bite of the meat. Wow, Oraca's expression was right, she outdid herself cooking this time. The meat was jucy, normaly when she doesn't have guests her meat always seems much drier. "what do you think?" she asked after taking another bite.
I think I should move up here. She said, taking another bite and licking her lips in total satisfaction. Or, perhaps, it's your cooking that made this so good - because I've never had meat this tenderm and I've had meat from around the world. She sighed happily. When I try to cook food with pyrokineticy, it always starts on fire. I suppose just because I can use fire doesn't mean I can totally control it - it seems I'm always starting things aflame. Orca looked at Fem for a moment. You may thing your wings aren't a good thing... They're beautiful.
"Well my wings did cause me trouble, but I don't mind them really now, after all four wings are better than two."She sighed, her wings did cause her problems, but she had learned to cope with that. She looked out the entry, all she saw was the sun going down and fear struck her. Tonight was a full moon.
Orca nodded and agreed silently. It was a few seconds before she noticed Fem's stricken face. She followed her eyes outside, but saw nothing amiss. Everything looked fine. Whats wrong? Orca could tell from Fem's face - something was definetly wrong. But what could it be? ooc Sorry short post....
"Uhm, terribly...sorry...I think...you should.......LEAVE." she felt her 'other' half begin to take over. She felt her skin stteach and wings shrik, she felt the 'fingers' from her arms turn into claws. Eveything was goin drak, she could feel lust for blood, then her other self took over.
