Tria 81379: Morichai wandered the lonely swamp, her feet dragging in the mud as her tail and wings followed. Once upon a time she had cared about her appearance... but ever since Zau... A hoarse cough emits from her throat. Red rimmed grey dull eyes stare empty. She stumbles falling into the murky water. More coughing. A wail of pain. A sniff. Again she trudges on a gouge in her side, the blood mixing with the dirt. All hope lost.
Character: Ghost of Zau Zau’s sprits wandered through the deeps of his new world, his spirit gazed at the swirling colour, the amazing light. Yet he could not find peace, he had left his old world to painfully and it ached his soul. Yet now he had found a way, he had found other spirits like him, they had shown him the way. He walked on dutifully, he would have to set things right, he would make amines. The swirling light neared as he got to his destination. And as he did another light appeared yet this one he could not see, it was in the world of the living, the world he had left behind. In a swamp to be précised, to be even more accurate, right in front of the one he needed to see.
Her dull grey eyes looked up from the marshy sponge... Zau? Her eyes narrowed to slits. She walked through his spirit. Why had she been plagued by these visions? Every voice she heard, every shadow looked like him. A pain stabbed through her as she walked through the "mirage" Thinking it was her side, she lets a lonely tear fall. Stumbling yet again into a muddy pit she sits there losing the will to move from the cool but soothing spot, the icy water numbing her mind.
Zau watched her, walk through him, it felt very strange, like part of him being flipped around then pushed back. He stumbled back a bit and regained his composure. His ethereal body try desperately to stay together. He felt one of his ghostly own tears float aimlessly down his face as she fell. He felt his own icy pain for abandoning her, it tore him up in side. He wanted to scream at the unfairness of the world. Why had it taken hsi life at such a horrible time. His see through eyes were filled with sadness looking at her in the mud. He opened his mouth letting his strange version of a voice seep out. "Morichai get up, I'm so sorry I left you, but I wont let you fail apart." His echoing voice shattering the silence of the swamp. He cared to much for her, he wouldnÂ’t let her throw away her life because of him. He lifted her out of the water with his mind, one of the new ghostly powers he had. The spectres energy floated around her and set her firmly on her feet facing him. "Oh my love, whatÂ’s happened to you" He said with the same echoing voice yet it resonated despair.
stop... please... She whined, thinking that finally she had cracked. Desperately she tried to collapse, zaus' power holding her up. One look at her lifeless eyes, her bloody and bony figure showed, that she had been in this state for a while, Her eyes looked raw from her paw wiping furiously across her face. No beauty or sweetness remained in her soul. her head hung low and her once soft blue hair, hung wet and dirty around her troubled maw. why did you die? why did you leave me? She said to herself, new tears burning tracks down her ashen face.
He walked up to her and smiled, she was always beautiful to him. He left no foot marks in the ground, the breeze didnÂ’t even touch him, yet as his ethereal body grew closer her lightly stretched out his hand. He used his thumb to lightly brush away one of the tears. He knew he couldnÂ’t touch her but at certain times he could just make contact. "I didnÂ’t want to, I didnÂ’t ask too, it wasnÂ’t fair but we cant fight these things. Sometimes things change and you cant hep it, people change, I changed just not in any way I was expecting." He said sadly yet with a weak smile at her. He just wanted to give her a hug, she didnÂ’t deserve this. She was too good for all the crap that had been thrown her way. But he wouldnÂ’t leave her again, he would do anything to see her better again no matter what that meant. His one yellow fur and his blue mane were now just empty of colour, one just darker than the other. He was like a black and white version of his former self.
she looked up at the figure of Zau. Her grey eyes swirling with a black, as she narrowed her eyes at him. Looking through her hair at him, she changed completely... a side clearly full of anger ... one that she had kept locked up for a long time. Then let me die... She growled. One time long ago she had feared death, now she embraced it, begging it to cool her mourning heart. She had tried every possible way to shorten her life, Starvation, Poisons, fighting... but each time she pulled through... Her eyes softened again as she gave out a long weary sigh. There is no point in me living... I only have death now Zau.
His face was a picture of pure sadness. He could tell by her tone that she would not change her mind, he had nothing to offer her. He didnÂ’t have the strength to either, if he used his energy up too soon he would be taken back for good. Yet in some ways he would be happy for her if she died, he had been to the other side and knew their was nothing to fear. "Well if that would really make you happy. Maybe then you could find the peace i was never able to give you" he said as his voice filled with hurt from her anger. He would be crying if he could, he just wanted to help her to move on, to find someone else. Maybe in deaths he would find than man she lost so long ago, Zau had know from the moment he had met her that she had lost someone. She had used him to fill her gap even if she hadnÂ’t felt the same for him as she had done for the other. He smiled at her, his dead mind filled with regret and sorrow. Maybe he might be able to find peace once she was happy again. It was all he had ever cared about.
She saw his hurtful look at her angry words, and she felt the stabbing at her heart. Fresh tears fell from her sore eyes, Then she heard his words, and that cut deeper. Her eyes sparked up to his ghostly orbs, showing pure dishevlment. how c-can you say that? I only wanted to be with you... She reached a paw out to his maw, but it went straight through. This caused her more distress as her eyes squeezed shut with mental pain. Sitting down with a thump she looked up at him. i want to be with you now... The moment you died, my heart shattered, i didn't care about anything but you. For hours i tried to bring you back... but you didn't come back. How can you expect me to just move on?!
He felt terrible, he had things so wrong. He wished his could die again right now. His spirit flicked in and out of existences for a moment, like a torch blinking off and on. He summoned up all the power he find from his ghostly realm. He wouldnÂ’t egret this later. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything. IÂ’ve caused you nothing but pain, all I wanted was to make you happy but I cant even do that." He said, fake tears like little crystals feel down his face. He had made them because he wanted to cry, he wanted to pour his soul out for her yet he wasnÂ’t alive anymore, he had lost that power along with many other things. He walked towards her and give her a hug, he wrapped his arms around her and held her close for a moment. He had managed to give himself form for a short while, it wouldnÂ’t last but then it was better than nothing. He nuzzles against her hair for a moment and gave her a brief kiss on the forehead before slipping through her. He nearly collapsed and flicked out for another second. His power was failing fast yet he didnÂ’t plan on going back. He had meant what he said about not leaving her again, not ever.
Her eyes closed as she finally felt Zau close to her again. The longing she had, had since the moment he had disappeared from her life diappated. He flickered and sheer panic shone through her eyes. Zau, don't leave me here... take me with you... she turned round to face Zau her wings raised slightly from the ground, Some of the beauty she once held had been restored in a moments epiphany. Her eyes sparked to life with the tiniest hint of blue.
Zau gathered his strength and pulled himself to his feet and got up. He smiled when he saw her, he loved her so much and now she looked as beautiful as she deserved. His smile was broken when she asked to be taken, he nearly gasped out loud. He looked into her soft eyes as their twinkle returned yet he couldnÂ’t help but look confused. "That would mean you would die, I donÂ’t have the heart to take you with me. I cant kill you" He was shocked that she would ask him too, she knew how much she meant to him, it was like asking him to murder himself. He managed to hold her hand, its took effort but it wasnÂ’t to hard, the rest of his body was ethereal and ghost like. He hoped he wasnÂ’t too gruesome for her yet he needed to be here for her.
oh no,no,no.... She murmered softly to him as she felt the coldness of him in her hand. He had misunderstood what she had meant, and thinking back on it, it had been worded badly. I meant when i..die... will you take me with you? Curling a wing round to her free paw, she plucked a vial from the feathers. Blue and purple shone from the bottle, causing the light to dance on her skin. This will kill me... if i drink this i will die... I wanted to take it before...but i was afraid... i'm not now... Morichai looked up at him with her eyes glimmering. Placing the vial back in softly and folding her wing back into place. She smiled finally as clarity regained in her mind. I just need to say goodbye to someone first and then i'll be ready...
Zau gawped at her, he would not deny his heart longed for her but suicide was something he wasnÂ’t particularly found of. He looked at her, his face was a mix of confusion and pain, yet he had a deep longing for her that seemed to forget all their problems. He sighed heavily even though he made no sound. "Its your choice, I donÂ’t encourage it but I wont turn you down. And when your time comes I will always be here with you." He said as his image flickered for a moment. He didnÂ’t have much time left here. He smiled at her sadly yet the fact she was planning to kill her self was like ice through his brain, it was numb to everything now. He was just looking at her now, making the most of his remaining power.
Morichai looked at him and smiled. Noting his unsure actions. Zau...don't worry, we all die...and... i want this, for myself, and you. Morichai plucked the vial from her wing again, opening it with a quiet pop. It smelled sweet, surprisingly. Cocking the bottle to her lips she looked at Zau again, her eyes asking if he was ok with this. Still showing a desperation to be able to feel his touch once again.
Zau smiled sadly at her then just smiled, he wanted her to be with him. He could make her happier then she was now, he would take away all the pain for her. He came close to her and kissed her forehead very softly. He knew his lips were cold but it wouldnÂ’t matter, once they were back home everything was warm and pleasant. Everything was perfect in death and all was simple. "I'm not worried, soon I'll be able to hold you in my arms and that makes everything better." he said both quietly and softly. He looked at the vial of liquid and sighed, he hoped that it would be quick, he didnÂ’t want her to suffer at all. It sparkled slightly as the light hit, he didnÂ’t think he could watch yet he was mesmerized by her and it together. He gazed at her, getting lost in her eyes.
in one quick sweep she gulped the liquid down, instantly falling to the ground, her wings out like an angels. Death was weird for her like a cool sensation of slipping into a cold bath on a hot day. She felt her soul lift out of her body as her last heartbeat died. Finally she was free... Jumping into Zaus arms she gave him a hug, normality restored.
