Ramathian Chronicle- Mia 23, 81379 FINAL MEMBER OF THE COUNCIL HAS BEEN KILLED Early yesterday morning the final member of Bhim’s governmental council died of food poisoning. Doctors theorize that he contracted salmonella while he was out to dinner with his wife the previous night. The restaurant has always had a spotless record of sanitation, having passed all previous health inspections with ease. Despite this, it is currently under investigation and closed until further notice. One doctor who has examined many of the bodies of the deceased council members had this to say. “It is not at all impossible for these souls to have been murdered. Each case can go either way. Specifically to this case however, one of the chefs working at the restaurant could have easily slipped the diseased meat into the dish in an attempt to kill the deceased." Many residents of Bhim believe that this incident ties in other accidents that have taken the lives of some council members, and forced others to give up their positions and retire. “I don’t see how anyone can think this to be an coincidence," one pendragon commented. “They were clearly all murdered. How likely is it that in such a short time, all the council members have just gone without some conspiracy behind it all?" With no evidence to support this theory, detectives and law enforcement officers are baffled at what course of action to pursue. Though there are no leads, some suspect that a mafia is behind all of this. The Red Feather mafia has grown greatly in power over the last few months under the direction of a newly apointed leader. Massive suspicion has been going their way, but the gang seems to be oblivious of the whole matter. It is still unclear as to who will lead Bhim at this time. It is popular belief that elections for new council members will be held by the remaining former council members in early Dyo. As for possible candidates for the positions, there are very few on the continent qualified……see pg. 3 for further details. All police and other law enforcement officers have been relieved of duty and have been replaced with officials of the Red Feather Mafia. Why was this not stopped? Finasis is putting into effect a completely radical set of laws that will benefit more than half of the population of Bhim. Her new laws make previously outlawed practices legal. The distribution and consumption of illegal goods such as various drugs and weapons are now encouraged. Considering the main population of the continent, there has been little resistance to her take over. It is thought that such an economic boom will spur into action that Bhim will quickly become one of the richest continents of Ramath-Lehi. One pendragon commented, “She is a genius! She knows that such acts cannot be stopped and has decided to harness their potential!" Though the credibility of the commenter cannot be confirmed, his thoughts are widely duplicated by merchants all over Bhim. Finasis has also declared that this new form of government is here to stay and that all who appose will be locked up for the crime of treason. Army and law enforcement teams of Red Feather members have been put in place to uphold these laws. There does not seem to be an end to her tyranny unless some brave souls will take it upon themselves to put her rein to a halt……see pg. 2 for further details. OOC Comment……Plot Limitations Since Finasis’s rule is only temporary, members are encouraged to try and oust her from power, though any such event is not very soon in the coming. Players can rp as pendragons benefiting from her rule, pendragons against it, members of the Red Feather Mafia, spies within the Red Feather mafia (please ok this with me before rping), and anything else you can think of. (Players cannot play characters that are high ranking in the Red Feather Mafia unless they have my permission. This is to prevent powerplay and any high-ranking spies; that would make it too easy. ^^) Also please note that if your character decides to stand up against the new laws and go on a drug bust or something of the like with a few of their comrades, Finasis can have your character thrown in jail, though such would only happen if requested or if you and your comrades have been doing this unhindered for a while (3 threads or so). Although she would be a little unhappy that murdering the counsel members that she worked so hard to blackmail and tempted, but she would enjoyed the increased flow of profit, however the new competition would declined the mood into something more interesting, like say, doing a freigning innocent while mentally extorting the mafia (maybe be dangerously cohorting with Finasis from time to time) . Chances are she won't be an enemy, but not a friend either. The ideas are still in a fledging state, but I'll pick my spot :P

I hope you find your spot in this plot. ^^ Precaution just so you know, if The Lost does manage to get Finasis out of power they cannot inturn, take over Bhim for future plot purposes. Im sorry if that is what you were hoping. But yes The Lost may declare war on the new government of Bhim but their entire gang will be dubed traitors and treated as such. Just keep in mind that Finasis is the equivelent of the presedent of Bhim, so it wont be easy. ^^ Dont forget that other players that are not in The Lost can still try the same thing.
Thats exactly what I had in mind, "The Lost" jus need sumin to do, and you gave em the perfect oppurtunity, I dun't want to let my organization die! So I need to find stuff to get my members involved in. I want to give them and myself something interesting to do. I don't really care if "The Lost" gets power or not, and other people are free to join in and work together with my members against them, ignore them completely, I jus want to have some fun! So is this little feud alright with you? :D

If you got a thread with some of the Lost members, you should interefence with someone telling you about someone taking over Bhim. I could see if I can free up some time to have Nadyna getting the news and a surpise visit from either side. . .just a thought

Hmm...this might sound like quicken the pace just a little, but I don't mind if you don't if there would be a first confrontation in the Black Rune Casino involving this war. It could start out as a VIP invitation for Finasis (as Nadyna is interested to learn about her new riv--I mean associate), somehow both gangs will find out about it or come by conscidence as negorations for advanced or huge weapon/contraband deals are done by the owner personally...Your call guys
