  1. <span style='color:purple'>Coa looked around, but the whole place was covered in snow. Snow, and Snow all around Coa as she sat down and tried to warm herself. She breathed slowly. Coa looked for a Corner for her to hide in. She found one, a dark one and sat there. Shivering, her voice seemed to shake every time she speaks a word. "Xu... Cold..." She breathed, and remembered that nice fellow she met on the port. "My hairpin... Hope he obtains it..." Coa shivered more, fearing if anyone is around her. Coa looked at her mutation. "These horns are not worthy for me anymore..." Coa looked around, if anybody was near.</span>

  2. Vytani was just about to the point where she wondered why she had decided to leave her shelter at all today. it was cold - not that she wasn't used to it; after all, she was living here. still, it's better than being inside, she thought. She had been inside her shelter for nearly all of the last two weeks, and was beginning to be sure that the walls were closing in on her the longer she stayed in there.
She liked it out here, all things considered: snow everywhere and not a being in sight -
Well, that just proved me a liar, she thought ruefully as she fixed her eyes on a spot of color in the snow. Someone was huddling beneath a rock outcropping, sheltered from both the sun and the snow.
If the being hadn't looked so cold, Tani would have ignored her. After all, if she was here she could probably fend for herself. But she could see that the other was shivering.
Streamlining herself, Vytani took off for that other creature. She wasn't that far away, but the stretch felt good and kept her warm.
When she was within shouting distance but too far away to get hurt if this person was hostile, Tani called: "Hey! What are you doing?"

  3. <span style='color:purple'>Coa heard another voice near. Coa began to wonder what was that, so began to reply, "...Sitting." Silently, Coa began thinking about what to do. Maybe this isn't a bad place, even though it was super cold here. Coa never thought another person would be here. Coa thought everyone that goes to this rugged cold please was dead. She began to remember that person that was with her in the Port, but she forgot the name. She slowly peeked out her her "spot" and looked. Another creature. It was a female, she guessed.</span>

  4. Vytani came forward more, ready to jump and flee but curious as to what was going on here. She stopped closer to the other being. "I can see that," she muttered, unimpressed. "Why? Sitting out here can kill you, you know. Is that what you want?" Vytani's tail flicked irritably behind her, but her tone had only a bare hint of a biting edge to it. If you didn't keep warm here, you were dead. If this creature didn't know that, well, it wasn't her problem. But ignorance just ground her nerves like nothing else could ... And she would have left, had her curiosity not still been at its peak.

  5. <span style='color:purple'>Coa looked at the person that came to her. "Why, If I die, that's great." Coa suddenly said, and tried to back away. "Please, kill me if you want. Feed on me if you wish." Coa looked around. "I don't want to die quickly, though. I bitterly cold and," Coa stopped. She thought of something and looked at her horns on her back. "...and I need somewhere warm." she said, feeling a little embarrassed. "I didn't know why I came to this cruel place, but I just felt like it..."

  6. Vytani felt a mixture of disgust and pity well up within her, though it was mostly disgust. She wasn't the type to kill random creatures just because they asked her to. On the other paw, well, if she wanted Vytani to, then the pendragon would be glad to turn and walk away.
But then came the request for shelter, and Tani's mind wouldn't let her abandon the obviously extremely cold female. "What's your name?" she asked, motioning with her tail. "Come on, I live around here; you can come back with me. I'm Vytani." She shivered. "Hurry, it's too cold to bother staying out here longer than we have to!"

  7. <span style='color:purple'>Coa smiled a bit and well, replied, "Coa." Then she got up and felt her tail numb a little. "Sorry I suddenly said, 'Kill Me' and so forth. I hated myself until that day..." She remembered the other creature that was with her at the port. Coa had forgotten his name, so she got up. "Are we going to leave?" Coa looked at her eyes. She didn't seem to be that harmful, but she needed warmth. "I should live for now on." She sort of smiled and looked around. "You live here?"

  8. Vytani didn't press Coa, though she was a little curious about the other's odd attitude.
"Yes, I live here," she said instead, motioning with her tail for Coa to follow. "It's an alright place, if you were born to it. I suppose you weren't?" she added, just out of curiosity. She began to trot off through the snow, hind feet kicking it up behind her. She checked back periodically to make sure Coa was still following, though. Her cave was not that far away, but it was damn cold and she wanted to get inside as soon as possible.

  9. <span style='color:purple'>
Coa seemed to be wondering... If she should really die or not. Anyway, Coa followed the creature and seemed to answer her question. "I was not born here... It's freaking cold, especially the damn eternity of coldness." Coa seemed to see a little light, but she thought it was the sun. "Is that where you reside?" Coa asked, pointing at the faint light. "I'm quite intersted to live here, but I won't survive..." Coa seemed to have a wobbly voice when she said, "survive", but she didn't care. Coa began whispering to herself. "Maybe mutations are special, maybe I shouldn't die neither think of it... I shouldn't be sad all the time, but I can't help it..." Coa seemed to grin a little, yet, she wanted to know about this, thing. </span>

  10. Vytani continued on, glancing back to see Coa pointing. "Yes, that's where I live, but it looks closer than it truly is. It's not a bad place, once you get over the cold," she continued, softening her voice. The Lukuo seemed frightened, somehow, or sad; Vytani didn't want to frighten her even more than it seemed she already had.
The entrance to Tani's cave neared rapidly and she found herself speeding up, excited to be within the relatively warmer cave. we'll just start a fire and warm up, she thought. It occured to her to wonder exactly how long the Lukuo would be staying.
"Do you have anywhere else to go, Coa?" she called over her shoulder. "Or were you just hoping to come here and wing it and survive that way?"

  11. <span style='color:purple'> Coa seemed to be asked yet another question. "You see, I came here too, uh..." Coa didn't know why she came here, but everything seemed to be fine. She stopped pointing. "You know, I didn't see anyone else here." Coa said, quietly. Coa wanted to be atleast Okay, for now. "I don't know If I can stay here... Maybe a day or so... I'm thinking about staying..."</span>

  12. The cave was not that far away, and Vytani kept her eyes on it. She shrugged and answered, "I don't know; others live around here, I just tend to stay away from them. I haven't got a clue where they are; there are supposed to be big tribes of Pendragons up here, but I've never bothered to go looking." She slowed and stopped, waited for Coa to catch up and then padded inside her cave. "You'll have to find a place to shelter," she continued, preparing to start a fire to warm them both up. "Are you hungry?"
She suddenly became aware how fast she was speaking, and how fast she was jumping from subject to subject. She paused for a moment, gathering herself, trying to stop being so irritated. It wasn't hard, she just had to shut up for a minute.

  13. <span style='color:purple'>Coa was curious. Seemed like the other creature went suddenly silent. But she didn't want to know if it wasn't about her business. "Gnah, I'm getting real cold in here, I wish I had fish and so on, this cold place..." Coa stopped and looked around. "...Looks lifeless." Coa's body slightly shivered. All at once, she began thinking about this place.</span>

  14. "It's not that bad, once you get used to it," Vytani tried to reassure Coa as she finally got the fire started. "It just takes a lot of getting used to. This should warm things up though - you can't sit out in the snow for a while like you've done and not be cold. Sit there ..." Vytani became suddenly aware of how stupid and ... motherly ... she sounded. Again she paused, collected herself and asked bluntly, "is there anything you can't eat? We haven't got that much anyhow, but there you go - if there's something you won't take ..." She shrugged, feeling her irritation rise irrationally again, and sat herself across the fire from Coa, curling her tail over her forepaws - still in her quadrupedal form.

  15. <span style='color:purple'>
Coa seemed to hear another question. "I can eat anything, as long as I can still live..." Coa replied. This creature seemed to sound like a mother, but she didn't mind. She was already abandoned while she was still a baby. "I hope there isn't anything very bad about this and I'm thinking about living here... But I'm not sure yet."
