OOC: Timestamp: Dyo 42, 81379; early morning (~2:00 AM) Auraron stood there and acted as if nothing had changed. "Shaleus.... Its over." Shaleus laughed. "Not really, no one knows about the orb of light aside from you, and you are about to be dead." As he spoke, he formed a shadow blade and stabbed at Auraron as he finished speaking. Auraron moved swiftly to avoid it and started running towards the temple where the orb was located. Sabato and Sabata gave each other a look as they sensed their siblings were up to something. "We are going to find our siblings," whispered Sabata to the captain. He and his brother silently, yet quickly dashed off and found their way to the main control room where they found Jahhar. "He's trying to take out Auraron..." spoke Jahhar, staring at the screen which showed the two fighting, "We can't waste anymore time." He ran over to a teleportation device and set it to take him to Vivuli Jungle. The twins quickly ran foward and entered one at time after Jahhar had been teleported away. Sabata teleported first, then Sabato, but before Sabato left, he gave Kama and Timaro a phone call... Kama and Timaro had trained into the night and were feeling quite exhausted. "You two are doing good," spoke the trainer. "You are learning quickly, as always." Kama just nodded, trying to catch his breath. He had a bad feeling about something but couldn't place it. His cell phone suddenly went off. Kama jogged over to it and answer it. "Hello?" said Kama between breaths. "Its Sabato, get to the Vivuli Jungle, fast, something is up. Some necromancer is trying to strike down Auraron. Auraron is in the Vivuli Jungle." Kama didn't reply as he hung up. "We've got to go help in a fight." "Already?" replied the trainer curiously. "I'm afraid so." Kama started to leave as well as Timaro who followed him. "Don't forget your training, true the session was short, but in it was crammed many things which will help you." spoke the trainer after them. Kama had put tracers to keep up with everyone after the robot captured the twins, so he had no trouble finding Auraron. Both he and Timaro jumped into a hovercopter and took off, moving at high speeds to get to the location of the battle... The black dragon appeared in front of Auraron. "Give up you old fool..." he slashed at Auraron who narrowly dodged the fast moving attack and kept running. He needed assistance but didn't have time to use his cell phone...
Shadows suddenly flashed in the forest around the pair. They came faster and quicker, until something whipped by at an impossible speed and slammed Shaleus against a large trunk of a thick tree... Back in the control room, "The "Lost" Elite Team X-2 stormed in, quickly grasping the situation, that the base was under their control. Looking around, they noticed the Teslos, but the core team was nowhere to be seen... "Spread out, make sure everything is offline and copy as much as you can. We have to get back to our rendevouz point within 20 minutes, move people move!" In the jungle, the shadows came more quickly and with more power. Shaleus was battered around like a toy. Suddenly in a flash, several shapes materialised in the treetops above the two, Revol, Hunt, Gregory, Khuyt, and Sanders, with a lightweight powered suit of armor incredibly less bulky than his teammates, more of an exoskeleton than an actual suit. The 5 figures grinned down at Shaleus. "A weakness eh?" Hunt taunted, "Seems the almighty Shaleus is mortal after all!" Sanders goaded. "You're just another pitiful mortal, not anything like us!" Revol sneered, and then they all leaped down, and began walking towards him. Their bodies suddenky collapsed, and a spectral version of each kept walking even as their bodies lay motionless. They came up close to the 'dragon, then whirled around him in sudden flashes of white and blue light. "Only a pathetic mortal." "You're nothing pendragon!" "Absolutely defenseless with that little orb inside you." "Thats right Shaleus, when you're agitated your thoughts seep out of you like bleach!" "We know everything Shaleus, the people you've killed, those who have almost killed you," "And many more little tid bits!" The chanting of insults and taunts continued, until there was nothing but a halo of blue and white light around a single black figure, and small blows were connecting with him with each new insult. "Surrender Shaleus, theres no hope for you now!" "You can't hope to fight on par with us undead!" "We're half dead spirits, you're just a poor sad little living creature!" And the taunts continued. Nearby, Revol appeared, back in his body, beside Auraron. With a grin, he nudged the Teslo, and motioned to the circle where Shaleus looked close to screaming. "I think he's just about to crack, we're not only mentally picking him apart, but slowly rearranging his mind and memories as well. We only needed to know his secret, once we had that, we knew exactly where to get in. Now while my team distracts him, lets go get that orb."
Auraron walked past Shaleus like nothing had changed. The other Teslos appeared just then and watched Shaleus practically going crazy. "No-no-no, I am, yes, I am immortal. I'm strong, stronger, NO strongest!" he rambled. He tried to attack Sanders walker, but his fear had made him uncoordinated as he just stumbled around in the middle of all of "The Lost". "You can't and won't destroy me. Auraron walked into the temple and fired a blast of air at the orb as it shattered. When he did this, the native orb guardians started running towards Auraron with their spears. Auraron started walking out of teh temple as if nothing had happened, but right before he was impaled by the spears, he shot a blast of air at all of the guardians as they were smashed into the walls of the temple. The sound of the orb shattering seemed to have a strange effect on Shaleus as he suddenly snapped into reality. "You... You will all pay. I may be mortal, but it doesn't matter, never again will I be near death!" He roared. Black fire sprung up around him. "We'll finish what we started. I'm not holding back ANYTHING!..." He shouted as blackened horns protruded from his body. His eyes became a rich red. He was larger than he normally was. He fired thousands of black shots of energy in every direction. The Teslos jumped behind trees for cover. Auraron walked over to where Jahhar, Sabato, and Sabata had teleported. "Let's get out of here," he spoke to them. They all nodded and they started running deep into the woods so they wouldn't get hit by any of the magic that Shaleus was casting everywhere. Shaleus roared, extended his claws, and lunged at Sander's walker, easily tearing off a leg and smashing it down onto the window on the cockpit, which shattered and sent pieces everywhere. He picked up Sanders by his head and emitted the ringing into Sander's mind that he had emitted earlier when Gregory had possessed him. If he had done such a thing to a normal dragon, it would have instantly destroyed their mind. His claws dug into Sander's head. "I will kill you all! When I finish destroying you, I will kill the Teslos, as slowly as imaginable!"
"You Bastard!" Sanders shouted, as the circle stopped spinning and his walker hidden in the jungle nearby was ripped apart, but then Shaleus grabbed him by the head, and the torment began. Sanders could only scream as the ripples of sound systematically tore through his head, cutting off all his strings of connection to the song one by one. His form started to destabilize and his spectral eyes rolled back in their head, but before any serious damage could be done, Shaleus was brutally thrown back by Revol, blazing with his own black fire, with streaks of white energy dancing among it. "NEVER TOUCH ONE OF MY MEN!" The commander shouted, then in a spray of molecules and energy, he reappeared, with his normal form, and with a mighty powered fist smashed Shaleus in the jaw, away from Sanders, who collapsed panting on the ground, his normal form barely being able to stabilize around his spirit before he collapsed. Revol continued to savagely attack the mortal, giving him plenty of new injuries, before slamming a powered boot into his chest, and beginning to crush him against a tree. The cervos whined and the suit strained, and the tree, plus Shaleus, began to crack... Nearby, Khuyt was talking to Auraron, assuming command since both Revol and Sanders were unable to assume the role, one in a frenzied rage, the other lying unconscious on the jungle floor. He quickly moved to Auraron. "I've sent a call out for some nearby troops, but our forces here aren't nearly as well equipped as those elsewhere. It will be of some use, but we shall still need a plan, gather your siblings, hatch a plan, myself, Hunt, and Gregory will try to restrain Revol so he does not kill Shaleus, he shall be punished, but not here. He does not deserve to die, he deserves far worse..."
Shaleus groaned in pain as his body went limp when his spinal cord broke. He perked back up though in a few seconds as his back regenerated. He roared at the top of his lungs with what energy he could muster up and shot a dark blast at Revol which sent him flying backwards into a boulder in the jungle. Shaleus cracked his neck as his body reformed what had been broken and it seemed as if he had never been touched. He ran towards Revol and kicked him in the head, hearing a snap as he did so. Auraron nodded as Khuyt spoke. "Bear yourself, even without his immortality, Shaleus is still a devastating foe." He shook his head debating whether or not to tell Khuyt the truth behind this Shaleus. He decided not to, it would dash his hopes. He would tell everyone after they had gotten past this one problem first... Jahhar started walking towards the fight, away from the other Teslos. "Jahhar, where are you going?" asked Sabata. "I watched this fiend kill out parents. If anyone is to kill him, I will do so." "Have you lost your mind? This dragon is way out of your league. Let "The Lost" deal with him." "I'll never content my anger towards him if I don't kill him..." growled Jahhar as he kept walking. He powered up all of his augmentations to 100%. His white aura faded into a light blue, and long streaks, the same color as his aura, faded into his fur. He started running and then tripled his speed once he was all powered up. He ran towards Shaleus once he spotted him and did a jump back kick into the back of the dragon's head. Jahhar heard the skull of Shaleus shatter into many pieces. A scream emerged from Shaleus' mutilated head. Jahhar extended his crystal clear claws, only with his augmentations on at max, they had a glowing blue outline as well as light blue streaks, barely visible to the unaided eye. Jahhar slashed at speed, so fast that his paw couldn't be seen as it cut through Shaleus' arm, including most of the bone. Shaleus' right arm was dangling from his body, attached by what was too thick for Jahhar's claws to reach. Blue light seeped out from the edges of Jahhar's eyes as he stared at Shaleus in sheer anger. He thrusted his claw through Shaleus' back and gripped his heart, tearing it with his claws. Blood was spilling out of Shaleus' back as well as seeping from his head. At this point, Shaleus was in too much pain to say or do anything. Jahhar put his other hand in the hole in Shaleus' back and tore the top half of the black dragon apart. Jahhar pulled his paws out. They were drenched in blood, up to his elbow. Blood dripped from them. A pool of blood was on the ground where Shaleus collapsed. Shaleus' bowels were spilled on the ground as well. Jahhar panted heavily as his augmentations slowly were turned off. "I think we got him..." "I think you are right." replied Auraron who walked into the area where Jahhar was. Winds howled angrily through the jungle. Auraron, even though he knew that there was more to Shaleus than met the eye, kept the same expression on his face that he always seemed to have...
Revol stood up a short distance away, the molecules of his neck simply rearranging rather than doing something mundane such as cracking his neck back into place. Such a maneuver was far too stupid for Revol's elegance. "Good job Jahhar, I'm amazed a mortal could kill the bastard, but then again, you're no ordinary mortal now are you?" He motioned to Jahhar's mechanical parts, and then contented himself with grasping hold of Shaleus' body and scattering the molecules, making sure he wouldn't be able to regenerate. "Now, the base in the desert has been captured, and all evidence that a battle ever took place or the installation was ever there has been erased, after we copied everything we could. Unless the government had a satellite bead on us, we can never be challenged about it. But as for Shaleus, I want to know how a measly mortal could move between dimensions. My team can only travel when in spectre form..." The rest of the team had gathered around him, and reformed their bodies. The most notably disturbed was Hunt, due to the fact that he had barely gotten any combat time during the whole thing...
Jahhar smirked. "Of course...." He walked over to the cloak and weapons lying on the ground that used to be Shaleus'. "I'm glad that the fight is over though." "Its not over..." spoke Auraron, walking over towards Jahhar and the rest of "The Lost". Jahhar turned his head to quickly look at Auraron. "What do you mean?" asked Jahhar. By that time, Kama and Timaro's helicopter had landed nearby and the two had heard the sounds of the fight. They quickly made their way over to the scene, spotting Jahhar, with all of the blood dripping down his arms. "Jahhar... What happened?" asked Kama. "We destroyed the one hunting us." replied Jahhar cooly. Sabato and Sabata walked up besides Auraron as Kama nodded and Timaro smiled at those words. "There is still a fight to be fought." spoke Auraron, "This is only the beginning." "Explain," spoke Jahhar. "Do you think its possible for a mortal, even with such extreme powers, to keep all that he had captured in order as well as capture new dimensions?" spoke Auraron. Jahhar didn't reply. Auraron motioned towards the cloak which Jahhar quickly grabbed. He instantly spotted the words in the back of the hood. "Manufactured on Zola, dimension sector 54; issued to clone 908"
Revol swore loudly, acompanied in the comment by Hunt. "Well it seems we're going to have to actually work this time boys..." The commander commented, then turned to Jahhar. "Jahhar, I think you and your siblings are safe enough for now, but know that if you're ever in trouble, you can take refuge in any "Lost" base, especially in Nyonge. I can't give you the codes, but I'll make sure to keep a watch on you and your siblings so you can get access when you need it." He nodded to Sanders, who nodded in reply then started typing furiously. "Commander, as of yet we havent been able to successfully clone a Human or Pendragon, as you very well know, and because you scattered his molecules, we can't find out how he did it, but he probably obtained the technology from yet another conquered dimension. Anyways, I recently recieved a call from a Bio Engineer by the alias of "The Velvet Monster". A strange name none the less, but the test results he sent me were extremely interesting. They dealt mostly with genetic alteration and cloning, faulty genes, and the like. Anyways, I havent gotten back to him yet because I had planned to place a report on your desk sometime within the next week, but I'm pretty sure whoever this Monster is, he can help us now. I have an adress I can reach him at, shall I send for him?" Revol pondered it for a moment, rubbing his chin with an armored glove, then nodded curtly. "Yes, send for him and have him meet us at the base upon our return to Nyonge. Make sure he's comfortable... And Sanders?" Sanders turned so he could see the commander fully. "I want to see if you can somehow fuse your mechanical skill with this Monster's Biology. You have X-7's blueprints... I know we could never hope to mimic him, but I want us to god damn try..." Sanders hurried over to his fallen walker, his exoskeleton hissing as the air pressure was released, to send out the message to the Monster and a call for a "Lost" ship to pick them up. While he did that, the rest of the team busied themselves with making a quick encampment, made of stone and wood that they excavated from the enviroment around them using their powers over matter. Revol however, went to speak with Auraron. "Auraron, I feel I can trust you more than your siblings, even more than Jahhar perhaps, because you seem to have a soldiers mind, like myself. I want to ask you, how many more Shaleus' do you think there are? Is this dimension in serious danger? I'm sure you know I have to get back to fighting the S.O.B., and I want to hurry up and complete my takeover of the underworld, along with some other schemes... If Shaleus attacks while I lack the military strength to oppose him... I don't want to think of what could happen to the citizens of this planet, and others... The way the government is running lately, The civil unrest... the rapine could come at any time... And I remember Shaleus saying he had some sort of connection to the rapine and the nothing... I worry about my fellow 'dragons, as much as I may seem the bad guy here..."
Whether or not Auraron was pleased to be trusted, his facial expression didn't change. "Considering that the clone was labed 908, I would guess that there are at least a couple thousands running throughout the chain of dimensions. Assuming that the original Shaleus has his hands full tending to the other clones, it will probably take a few days before he realizes that this one is dead... We need to finish him off, his power grows as each minute passes." Kama heard the last part of the conversation, and assumed he knew what had been said earlier. "Yes, we need to somehow travel to a new dimension." Sabata overheard Kama and spoke up. "We could use the knife that the clone used." Auraron shook his head. "It would send us into oblivion." By this time, the rest of the Teslos had gathered around and were listening. Timaro spoke up. "Most can probably remember tales of the ancient temple. The one that supposedly allowed for the opening and closing of dimension portals. Even though, it isn't scientifically proven that the temple possesses powers to actually do such a thing, we don't really have much to lose." The rest of the Teslos gave their approval, whether by nodding their head or saying something. "Where do we go first if the temple can take us to new dimensions?" asked Sabato. "We should go to Zola, dimension sector 54, where the magical cloak was manufactured." replied Kama quickly. "If we do go through this portal though, how will we get back?" questioned Jahhar. "We'll have to hope that we find technology to bring us back to our own dimension. Besides, hwat choice do we have? If we don't go, this monster will surely find a way to eventually take over all of the dimensions including ours." "Don't you suppose we should try to find more about this Shaleus before we enter into battle with him?" asked Jahhar. "What more do we need to know?" replied Kama. Jahhar understood, Kama's message, there really wasn't much more to know. "Once we kill the original Shaleus though, how will we deal with the clones?" spoke Timaro. "I'm not sure, we'll just do one thing at a time. Maybe when we finish off the origianl, we'll find a way to destroy the clones. Any other questions?" asked Kama, more particularly to "The Lost".
Revol listened intently for a few moments, then nodded. "Well it makes sense, because even though we can travel through dimensions, we cannot take more than few passengers with us, and we have to separate their bodies and replace them afterwards in the new dimension. I've never heard anything about this Zola, even though my team has been through thousands of dimensions. I agree with Auraron, The Teslos and Khuyt shall go through this temple, still being alive, and my team will lock onto the dimension you find and follow suit. No troops will be needed, for it will only be a waste, I'm sure everyone can take care of themselves, especially my team. Agreed?" He looked at his team and the Teslos carefully, his charcoal black eyes looking them over, the spirit of someone filled with a burning hatred for Shaleus within. He was about to speak again, when suddenly Sanders interupted. "Sir, The Velvet Monster has recieved my response, he has the few genetic samples I could retrieve from the surrounding area and while we explore Zola he will work on them. Don't forget we will still have a link to Ramath-Lehi even while in the new dimension." Revol nodded knowingly. "Well then, High Priest Jepaj, I want you to follow Auraron's orders at your own discretion, usually you hitch a ride with one of us, it doesn't seem as if you will be able to this time around. Take care of these mortals, make sure they never leave your sight, and make sure you're constantly filled to the brim with Chaos Magic." Revol finally turned to Auraron. "Show us the way Teslo, so we can get on with this."
Auraron spoke not a word as he began to walk through the jungle. The other Teslos followed him. Auraron kept walking deeper and deeper into the jungle. After an hour of walking, they were so deep in the jungle, Jahhar began to see plants that he didn't recognize. Auraron continued onward, showing virtually no signs of fatigue even though the rest of the Teslos were starting to wear down slightly. The group walked an hour more before Auraron stopped. The others did the same. Sabato quickly asked a question while they were stopped. "Auraron, how do you know of all of these strange random things?" Auraron turned to look at him but didn't bothre answering teh question. The group still had ways to go yet. He found the correct marker, a blade of grass, not any blade though, one that had much magic flowing through it. Auraron led them onward for another hour before they got to the temple. The sun was starting to rise on the edge of the horizon by this time. As Jahhar walked into the clearing with the temple, he examined the temple in all its slendor with awe. It was much like a giant golden cone, with many engravings. Judging by the quality of them when Jahhar got closer, the temple probably took many decades to construct. Auraron led the group up some stairs to the entrance of the temple. He pushed open the ivory door and walked inside, the other Teslos following. Kama looked around. Plants were overrunning the inside of the temple. Insects buzzed about. A few small creatures were living inside as well. Auraron walked to the back of the temple and pulled some vines off of an old book. Some pages fell to the ground when Auraron did so. He put the pages back into place before turning the pages of the book to find if there was anything about the temple being used to open up portals to dimensions. After reading the book for what seemed like ages, Auraron walked towards the center of the room and shouted out the words: "Udim e dubsel su Gynimtyum Xule!" Immediately, a large portal opened. Auraron started to slowly walk towards it. It suddenly snapped shut and a large creature dropped from the ceiling in front of Auraron. The creature looked like a knight dressed in black armor. Spikes decorated his armor but where condensed on his shoulders, forearms, calves, and helm. "No mortal leaves its own dimension using my portal." spoke the creature in a raspy voice.
Revol had followed the family all the way to the temple, no member save Khuyt showing any sign of fatigue, as their dead bodies only housed the spirits, and nothing more. "Your portal?" Hunt challenged when the spiked creature descended, and the piece of shrapnel jutting out of his armor gleamed in the dim light of the temple as he moved the front. "The only thing you could call your own would be the stench around you you sack of shit!" And with that he raised the shrapnel above his head and unholstered his sub machine gun with he free hand. He was about to unload into the creature when he was savagely smashed aside by Revol. "Hold your horses Hunt!" He shouted, before turning calmly to the creature as Hunt gathered himself up, staring angrily at Revol from the side. "Now whoever you are, tell me, how is this 'your' portal, and how can we gain access to it. I don't want to offend you, but if you refuse, like my friend here implied, we'll have to take it by force." He stared calmly at the being with his charcoal black eyes, their gaze never leaving the creature for an instant. His flamethrowers were already lit with blue flame, and the rest of the team, including Hunt, had spread out and readied their weapons...
The creature began to speak, "Few mortals have arrived in this temple. It was constructed by me and my brothers many years ago. We constructed it to build a dimension portal in it and try to find a way out of this dimension. We hoped that we would find a dimension full of bliss instead of death and decay. Alas, we soon reaped what we had sown as we opened the portal into a random dimension and entered. As soon as we entered the new dimension, we found it to be much worse than this one. Worse, entering that dimension disturbed many creatures which killed most of us. We fled back into our own dimension, but the creatures followed. The few of us that survived, including myself, fought a close battle and just barely got the portal closed. We all agreed that we would never again enter a new dimension. We would have destroyed this place except that we blessed it too heavily for it to be destroyed. My brothers left to live normal lives, but I was the cursed one who opened the portal in the first place. Therefore, I was chosen to guard the portal from others so evil couldn't be released into this dimension from another. Here I stand before you now, cursed with everlasting life to guard this portal until the end of time in this dimension." The creature, or monk, let out a long breath which sounded somewhat like a sigh. "I cannot allow you to enter, if you disturbed another dimension and let more creatures through..." He didn't speak any more than that. "But we know where we want to go!" spoke Sabato urgently. "It matters not, It is my job to guard this portal." "Surely there is some way you can let us through." spoke Kama. The monk said nothing for a while but then spoke, "There is one thing you can do, bring me the necissary items and I will craft a potion that will seal the portal through as soon as you all walk through it. You won't be able to go back through though, and if you die from the creatures in the other dimension, that will be your fault, not mine." "Tell us what we need," replied Kama quickly. The monk walked over to the book that Kama had read earlier. "I know not where you can get these items because this spell book was made on the planet Earth before it was destroyed. Some of the elements used are ones I do not recognize, for those most likely came from Earth." he spoke, then started reading off the items. "Mercury... Plutonium... Coal... Gasoline... Plastics... Nitrogen in its liquid state... Rat fur... That is all..." OOC: I'm taking a gambit that at least one of these doesn't exist on RaL, but I think a GM will call us on it if they all do, in which case I'll edit the post.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>It's fine with me anyways, it's all in fun, technicalities aside.</td></tr></table> Revol snorted. "Of course we can obtain those materials, what do you think I've been lugging around all this time!" He nodded and then in an instant, stood quite naked in the middle of the temple, his battered and faded red and black armor falling to the floor in front of him. Quickly moving some matter to form himself a set of slightly weaker stone armor, he nudged the armor and smiled at the guardian. "You'll find a small bit of every recorded piece of matter within the interior of that suit. I felt I should always take a piece of my home with me, and when I died and revived, I made sure to lug around the molecules of the suit with me, just in case I never found anything from my home again." He crossed his arms, and gave the armor another nudge with his foot. In an instant, the two tanks on the back, fuel for the flamethrowers, even though they weren't really needed, slid apart, and a rack slid upwards. It was a polished steel test tube rack, with small test tubes containing hundreds of metals, solids, liquids, gases, and an endless supply of different compounds. "I have every element from Aluminum to Hydrogen. I havent been able to find a few of these elements on Ramath-Lehi yet, so I've kept this collection a secret, even from my teammates. Absolutely everything you should need will be there. But just make sure to take only as little as possible, I need a small bit of everything left. You'll find every test tube quite full, and be careful of some of them, Plutonium and Uranium, along with quite a few others are radioactive." He nodded and stepped back. "And don't worry, only the Teslos and Khuyt will be taking the portal. My team is planning to follow them afterwards after we lock onto the dimension..." With a glance at Auraron, He took a place at the head of his team, in his new stone suit of power armor, and Khuyt walked over to the Teslos. "I hope this goes along smoothly..." He commented to Jahhar, as he took his place beside him and crossed his arms...
OOC: This post is intentionally short so I can go all out on the next one without worrying about powerplaying. Feel free to make your post short as well, if you want. BIC: The monk had a surprised look on his face, but that couldn't be seen through his helm. He quickly read lables and snatched up the neccisary ingredients. He moved over to what appeared to be a wall but was really a hidden door. He pulled a lever near the door and the wall slid away. The monk pulled out a black cauldron. He quickly poured in the correct ingredients and the right amounts of them as well. He was clearly a master alchemist as Jahhar watched him work. He soon formed the potion. He waved his hand and the portal reopened. The monk threw the contents of the cauldron through the portal. "Enter..." spoke the monk, pointing at the portal. "Good luck on your venture... You must concentrate on which dimension sector you wish to enter when you walk through the portal..." Kama nodded as he walked through the portal and the other Teslos followed behind him. Hopefully Khuyt was following close behind, as the portal wouldn't stay open for long now that the potion had been throw on it.
Revol nodded and watched as the Teslos entered the portal, he nodded to Khuyt and placed a hand on his shoulder, giving him some secret mental advice, and then moved his hand back to his side. Khuyt stood for a moment, regarding the rest of his team, and then tapped a few buttons on the small wristwatch type communicator strapped to his right arm. There was soon a roaring sound, and Khuyt's bike sped through the entrance, sliding to a halt beside it's owner. Khuyt slid sideways onto the hoverbike, and then snapping his fingers and conjuring a small ball of chaos magic in his hand, he nodded a final time to his team and sent his bike abrreling through the portal after the Teslos... Revol stood solemnly for a moment, and then turned to the monk. "So are you done with my armor? And do I still have at least a tiny bit of every element and compound? Or did you clean me out? Because I'm sure I'll need both in the future, they don't make armor on this world like they do.. did... on Earth..."
The monk shook his head. "I used only what I needed. Nothing more, nothing less. Take your belongings back. Head into whichever dimension you desire to move into." He waved his hands after Khuyt went through the portal and it closed. The monk walked up to Revol and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Good luck and may your journey be safe and your goal be carried out." He stepped back away from Revol and bowed before moving back into the shadows. After he stepped through the portal, Jahhar realized what the potion had done. It had made the portal one way, for Jahhar couldn't see the other side of the portal once he stepped through it into the new dimension. Kama looked across the barren wasteland that was the dimension that he and his siblings has stepped into. It was dark as if the sun was setting, but Kama got a feeling that it was mid-day. Shrivled plants peppered the terrain. It seemed as if there was no life at all. The sky was covered in clouds, the rumbling of the thunder that some of the clouds emitted sounded like a creature roaring at them for intruding into its land. "This does seem like a suitable place for one of Shaleus' HQ's..." murmed Sabata. "Hopefully its his main HQ," added Sabato. Jahhar looked around, unsure of where to go or what to do. It seemed as if Kama and Timaro were just as lost as he was... Many kilometers from where the Teslos had appeared, a battle was being fought. Two armies, both dressed in black suits, each with its own emblem, clashed like wild animals. One side belonged to the dreaded necromancer, Shaleus. This army was pouring thousands of laser blasts and grenades into a main base which was being held by the other army, the Red Core Army. The two sides had been at war for decades now, but had proved fruitless for the Red Core who did all that they could to match Shaleus' army's superior technology and quantity of men. The Red Core army had been created hundreds of years ago by a seer who had forseen a great tyrant who would try to take of the multiverse. Alas, even hundreds of years wasn't enough time to build an army that could match the army of Shaleus. A combot from Shaleus' side ran from the midsts of Shaleus' army towards the main base. It resembled a completely different and more sleek and enchanced design than what "The Lost" had encountered. It was Shaleus' symbol of wrath apon those who opposed him. It was rumored to be indestructable, yet the Red Core was always searching for a weakness of this machine that always cost them defeat. The Red Core knew exactly how to contruct one even though it had been recently released into battle with Shaleus' army. The only problem is that it would cost a whole universe's resources to contruct one which was something that the Red Core didn't have, but Shaleus did. It had in it, its own repair leach, making it nearly impossible to destroy. It had the strongest forcefields ever known to be built equipped on it. Using a mixture of fusion and fission, it constantly recycled its fuel, giving it infinite energy. It was constructed out of a metal that had been specially made, each atom had been carefully woven into a perfect arrangment making the steel and titanium nearly indestructable. It was equipped with a devastating pulse blaster and a claw like nonother, which tore through anything like tissue paper. Its engines and modified hyperdrive gave it the capability to move at incredible, yet controled speeds. It was controlled by who was considered to be the greatest soldier of Shaleus' army as well as an AI. One could say that it was the perfect fighting machine. The Red Core's army, in the base, started scrambling away like ants as the massive machine charged the base. It tore away the entire top of the base with its claw before reaching down and tearing a hole into the basement of the base. It fired a blast from its pulse cannon into the basement. A shockwave rippled through the base. A blue sphere grew from the ground until it enveloped the base and melted the metal. Even though the combot was inside of the explosion, it was only midly damaged but was quickly repaired by its own repair leach. The heat from the explosion evaporated the metals inside of the base. The evaporated metal drifted up into the skies for a few seconds before it cooled and became liquid again, falling down apon the crater where the base used to be. The heat from the blast even killed many of Shaleus' own men. Even the ones who weren't killed were severly burned and scorched. They didn't seem to care though, the brainwashed soldiers that will still alive shouted out. "HAIL SHALEUS!" They really didn't seem to understand that Shaleus didn't care about them at all. The necromancer was only interested in power. The black combot walked away from the crater which was filled with liquid metal. Although, the metal was quickly hardening back to normal.
Revol inclined his head to the monk, and then replaced his armor, noting that he still had abundant amounts of all the materials his collection contained. He did a quick systems check, and finding everything to be working at 100%, he turned his dated model of powersuit to Sanders. "Sanders, I've got a mental lock on them, and I'm sure everyone else has too, but just to be sure, run their coordinates through, if it's not a logged universe, we'll head on through, despite the consequences." Sanders tapped a few keys within his walker, and soon gave Revol a curt salute and reply of; "No, Lets Go." Revol smiled at him, and whistling loudly, gave a hand signal to the remainder of his team. They assembled, left to right, Private Jeffrey Hunt, Special Ops Unit David Gregory, And Lieutenant Alan Sanders. Revol clasped his armored hands behind his back, and began pacing in front of them, letting out a long hearty speech. "Alright men, this isn't a drill. We've been to countless universes before, seen new technologies, although none too different from our own, and killed many people who otherwise would have never even seen us, let alone probably know what race or species we were. This is a new situation entirely. We are entered an enemy controlled universe, and for all we know, we could be walking into a trap, the Teslos and High Priest Jepaj being already captured. If this is indeed Shaelus main base, we will be seeing things we have never seen before. Do not rely on your powers you obtained from "him", as Shaelus can disrupt the rhythm, rendering you helpless if you are in the midst of using them. Focus on your elemental powers, and stick together. No matter what happens, no matter what Shaelus does, remember, our true strength lies in our teamwork. No living being can touch us while we're together. Now on my marks, we will transfer ourselves 100 metres from their targeted destination. In three, two, one, go!" Sparks of blue energy danced along the floor, and the area immediately around the team became hazy and distorted behind a barrier of the same blue energy. The team began to dissolve, as their molecules and atoms broke down, dissassembling their very being, and transporting it through some maneuver into the desired universe. Their subconcsiousnesses were soon all that remained, and in a final flash of white light, the spectral entities, the blue barrier, and the energy were gone, leaving no trace they were ever there... "Status!" "We are currently completely transferred, stationed at 99.9998 percent arrival point. No hostiles detected. The Teslos and Khuyt are 100 metres to our right." "Good work lieutenant, men, move it to their position, double time, they could be fakes, weapons at the ready, be prepared to fire on my command." "Sir, massive heat and energy spikes not too far from here, especially heat, temptatures are in the tens of thousands, I've confirmed the readings as those of units used by Shaelus..." "Battle has already broken out? Could mean theres still resistance in this universe, move, move, they could detect us at any time, keep all energy signatures low, rely on your elemental powers to mask your presence and fuel whatever weapons and power systems you have. Jeffrey, you and I will shut down our nuclear power generators, it could read as a miniature nuclear explosion on their radars, as they most likely have better equipment than us... Get to the Teslos!" The team hoofed it to the Teslos, Sanders providing spotting and soon they reached it, everyone panting slightly. Assembling with the Teslos, Khuyt rejoining his team, they quickly made a makeshift tent out of supplies stored in Sanders walker, supposedly a material that was "everything proof". Revol first turned to the Teslos in general, and informed them of the energy detected by something looking like Shaelus' units. "I think we should cautiously approach the situation, using our spiritual and elemental powers as much as possible. I can send Gregory to scout, we had enough time to rig up a new prototype cloaking device for him before we left, using a hybrid of Shaelus and our technologies, he should be as good as invisible, no air ripples or anything. Plus it's powered by his shadow element, meaning he won't run out unless he overdoes his power output or has to use his shadow for something else, diverting the flow... Sound good? If theres any trouble, Sanders can whip up a transport skiff using any nearby materials and get us into battle." His words sounded severe and cold, filling the title of "Commander" perfectly. No longer was it a small skirmish on Ramath-Lehi, or a full scale war on Earth. This was unknown terrain, on a new world, and his leadership sense had kicked in. His soldiers were no longer 'old friends' They were his subordinates, and would act accordingly under his orders, even sacrificing their lives for the overall victory. In battle Revol was no friend, and in war, like this, he was too fierce and merciless even to be called an enemy...
Back in the temple, the so called monk opened a drawer and pulled out some communication devices and set them up quickly. He quickly dialed in a very long list of numbers. He finally got a connection and spoke through the mouthpiece which looked very makeshift. Who could complain though? Talking to creatures in other dimensions was not easy. "Sir, the dimension portal in my dimension has been breached. I would have stopped them but it would have meant throwing my life away. The core team of "The Lost" and the Teslos both sought passage through the portal. They headed right into your dimension." "Did you do nothing but let them pass?" spoke a voice cooly on the other end. The "monk" grinned. "I didn't become trained in the art of assassination for nothing now, did I?" He didn't wait for an answer as he continued, "I placed on Revol, a strain of bacteria which will devastate if not destroy the Teslos as well as many microscopic robots which have activated and are spreading all over the bodies of both the Teslos and 'The Lost'." The assassin recalled his smooth and perfect action when he had placed his hand on Revol's shoulder right before he and his army left. "I will soon be tracking them to destroy them. I won't even let them get to you." He heard Shaleus hang up on the other end and he did the same. How challenging could it be for him to destroy eleven dragons? The Assassin himself had been alive for many years and had alone destroyed many armies through biochemical warfare. Even those few stragglers who he occasinally met that managed to survive his strains of bacteria and viruses were easily struck down. He opened the portal and stepped through, coming approximately 300 yards from where "The Lost" and Teslos were. As soon as he arrived, he set up his laptop and activated the cameras on all of the microbots. Each one didn't have a very good range of view, but all of them put together formed a good picture. He watched with pleasure. He knew that only Auraron kept an aura of pure air around himself, so he would count Auraron as one of those survivors... Back to where the Teslos and "The Lost" were, Kama pointed. "Let's proceed carefully then." The other Teslos nodded and began to creep towards the battle scene which was just over the horizon. It wasn't long before Kama, who was closest to the front, spotted something in the horizon. He spotted the master combot just before it was teleported away to Shaleus' HQ. Kama had no idea what it was, though, as he kept leading his siblings. When the Teslos got close enough, the handful of severly burned, living troops aimed their guns at the Teslos. "Don't move," wheezed a troop in the front of the men. Most likely the commander. Jahhar laughed before lunging at the commander and shredding his chest with his claws. The other men tried to fire at Jahhar but were too slugish and weak to get a clear shot. Jahhar knew this and that is why he attacked. By the time the other Teslos ran over to help Jahhar, Jahhar had killed the troops. It hadn't taken much to kill them since they were already barely living. Jahhar looked around at the battle scene and then looked at the lake filled with liquid metal. "What happened?..." he asked, as he had never seen such a sight as that lake. Kama shook his head "I'm not sure, but I need to rest. I'm as tired as could be..." He sat down. Sabato, Sabata, and Timaro all agreed as they too sat down in the sand. "We don't have time to sleep though," spoke Jahhar a bit surprised that Kama would mention that he was tired, even if he truly was. Kama shook his head before coughing. "This fatigue is unbearable..." Jahhar sensed something was wrong. He scanned Kama and then everyone else. "Everyone here but 'The Lost", Auraron, and I have been infected..." "That they have." spoke a voice, as a figure jumped off of a speederbike which flew away at incredible speeds. Jahhar recognized the dragon who jumped off of the speederbike. He was without a doubt, the monk back at the dimension portal. "Why did you follow us? Have you come to help us?" questioned Jahhar. "Of course not fool," spoke the assassin, "I am not a monk and you were a fool to believe that I was. I am Shaleus' assassin and I will make sure that he doesn't even need to raise a finger to dispose of you." The assassin hit a button on his wrist and all of the robots on both "The Lost" and the Teslos emitted a high pitched ringing noise. Even though the noise was intended to get rid of "The Lost", it could just as easily kill the Teslos. "I've wathced your fight with Shaleus' clone and know your weaknesses, so I will avoid playing games." spoke the assassin menacingly, not even in a jokeful manner as he truly intended to get his job done. Jahhar was surprised that the assassin had tricked them all and they hadn't noticed. Usually tricks like these were discovered by someone like Revol before they were carried out. Not this time though... this time they were on Shaleus' ground... Jahhar did all that he could and ignored the noise as he grabbed his katana and swung it at the assassin, slicing right at his left arm. Jahhar suddenly felt pain on his left arm as a huge gash appeared that looked as if it had been cut by his own katana. The assassin was wounded, but just as badly as Jahhar. It seemed that he had formed some sort of bond with Jahhar that kept their lives attuned, but only gave Jahhar the pain that the assassin suffered, not the other way around. How troublesome...
Revol's first comment was a long string of cursing no normal person would ever consider saying out loud, not only due to the fact that Jahhar had executed the survivors before they could be questioned, but also due to the ruse put on by the monk. His next action, however, was far wiser and to the point. No time for mistakes or errors, and Shaelus had already gotten the drop on them once. Luckily, his team had taken his previous advice to heart, and were using their spiritual powers and elements to power their dead bodies, leaving the rhythm firmly in the dark. Knowing they were only mildly irritated by the ringing noise was a help, as Revol issued some rapid orders. "Sanders, find and administer a cure, Hunt, contain him by any non lethal means necessary, Jepaj, destroy his ride with your own and cut him off, Gregory, assist Hunt, tranq rounds if you would." He knew him and his team wouldn't be affected at all by the infection, but of course if the Teslos were downed, it would be a heavy blow to their resistance forces. Obviously there were still forces active against Shaelus... But the Teslos... "Alright, Enough." He strode forward in a few steps, grabbing the "monk" by the neck. Lifting him clear off the ground with a single arm, his powered bulky armor easily bearing the weight, he let out a low growl and uppercut the assassin in the gut, before beginning to crush his neck effortlessly. "Now you're going to , One, give me the cure to your little virus here, Two, tell us where the hell we are and if theres any resistance forces on this world and any surrounding planets, and Three, crawl off into the wasteland without any trouble after we've gotten everything else we might need from you, got it?" His voice was low and menacing, meaning that if the would be assassin didn't comply it would be a one way ticket to hell, the personal hell within Revol where he kept all the spirits devoured and absorbed imprisoned for eternity. "You Got It?" He confirmed again, before Sanders quickly notified him he had a cure. "Sir, using data from both Shaelus tech and ours, it wasn't hard to find an antidote, he's using a virus and a series of nanobots. I couldn't totally shut down the nanobots, due to the lack of time, I can do that later, but quickly rewrote their programming to heal and enhance their hosts. It should serve as a full medical checkup, although for us, it will only make our dead hosts a little more lively looking, and decrease the decomposition a bit." Revol grinned and gave him a quite uneasy salute with his free hand. "Everyone, get Sanders to administer the antidote and vaccine, just in case, and then help me restrain this half assed killer. He really has no clue as to how to properly assasinate someone. Maybe Gregory can give him a lesson when we're done. Teslos, you ready?"
