He mumbled to him self as his tail smacked the clear plastic guard on the stairs as he walked down to the office with a paper saying he passed his challenge to the class. The hall was empty at the moment so it made it easy to be pissed and not care. He walked into the main office and slammed down the paper. "Can I help you?" the female Luko at the front desk asked Nor. "Yes, I need to get my paper work, and get the hell out of here." The female gave him a odd look, and took his paper. She nodded and walked into the back and brought out the papers. "You need to fill these out sir, and we should be able to get it done for you in about a week." "A WEEK!!!" Nor Roared "In a week they will close my farm!!" The female blinked at his out burst, "What do you mean sir?" Nor closed his eyes for a moment and calmed down. "They told me I had to update my degrees, but I basically where telling the teachers how it worked. So I need to get the paper work to show I know what I do so I keep my farm running, or I get shut down." "OH, I see, What district do you live in?" " Nyonge Mountains, Iknsr town ship." The female typed away at the computer and then handed him another form. "Please sign this, and then if you will give us an eye scan." Nor nodded and did all these. "Ok, you need to take these papers to you local district office and they will give you the paper work you need." Nor grabbed the papers and put them in his note book. "Thank you. You have been very helpful, unlike many of the others here." "I'm glad I could help" the female said with a smile. Nor, got up and walked out to the hallway. Class had let out and the hall way was full. He walked into the crowed looking over all the pendragons for the exit when one hit him, causing him to drop all his notebooks on the ground.
Vac had absolutely no idea, why he was here in the Academy. He looked up as he accidently hit another dragon. He quickly knelt down, and picked up the other dragons notebooks. He stood up and handed them to the dragon. "Please forgive me. I didn't mean to run into you, I am just trying to avoid all the kids. Oh bye the way, I am Vachilus."
The pendragon that hit Nor Quickly bent Down and picked up Nor's note books and Apologised. Then introduced him self. "Its alright. My name is Nor'Char, do you know any place to get some food, and get out of the corwd?" Nor asked Vachilus as the crowd streamed around them.
Vac grinned. "Nor'Char, tis nice to meet you." He held out his to offer a hand shake. "Thank god I never thought you would ask." He led the way out of the crowded hallway and outside, on the campus. He quickly puts on his sunglasses. He walks down the hill to a small building. "They have good food in here."
Nor Followed Vachilus out to the corut yard. Vachilus put on his sun glasses, and Nor pulled out is cap and put it on. Nor followed Vachilus down the hill. and just noded when he said they had really good food. Nor Followed Vachilus for a while, and when they where just about to the building Nor asked, "forgive me for asking, but I can't figure out how old you are, you don't look as young as every one else, but you don't strik me as a old guy like me." Nor laughed at his poking fun at him self.
Vac turned and looked at Nor and grinned. "I am 29, I don't even know why I was at the school, oh wait yes I do..I was trying to find a list of the cirriculum. One day I will have to worry about, so I figure I should have start preparing for myself."
Nor smiled at Vachilus, "Well its a good thing. I know I never came here," he laughed," I know more then all the damned teachers anyway." Nor just gave a rye smile, beacuse it gave him pleaser to know that he learned all he knew from the real world. "So what are you going to study here, Vachilus?" Nor asked as they walked into the build and the smells of food filled the air.
Vac laughed. They walked into the building, and sat down. "I am not planning on taking classes. I just found out that I am going to be a dad." He grins proudly as he says it.
Nor smiled at Vachilus's proud stament."Good job. Sound like you where able to do what I couldn't." Nor gave a bit of forced laugh. "So you and your wife have a place to stay?"
Vac smiled. "I actually have been trying to find someone who I could possibly buy land from, over in the Nyonge Mountain Range. My girlfriend really likes it over there. She will one day be my wife, I was kind of hoping to buy land, and present it as a wedding gift." He realized that he was probably rambling on, so he stops talking, and picks up a menu and scans it quickly. He signals to a waitress. "<span style='color:green'>I would like a bacon cheeseburger, with french fries and a coke, please</span>."
Nor smiled as Vachilus explaned his planes. As he ordered Nor started righing down some inofrmation on a napkine. The waitress had arived asked Nor for what he wanted to eat. "Oh, I'll just have some fish'n chips with a coffie." Nor said as he looked up from the napkin he was writing on. After he was finnished, he put his pin in his brest pocket and handed Vachilus the napkin. "You and your other half should come and see me some time. I have some land in the north-west corner or my land. Its where the hill side starts to clmib. I haven't been doing anything with it for a while now." Nor shook his head, more at him self then anything. "I'm starting to get old, I just can keep up with all my land Like use to. And to tell you the turth it would be nice to have a couple near by. I almost kind of miss having some around there." Nor looked at the table, more just thinking about his past. He shook his head. "You two should come out and take a look. I'm around on the land some where most the day. If you come in the morning or the eveing I'm around the house."
Vac grinned. He nodded to the waitress, as she set there food down in front of them, and paid the check immediately. Once she walked away. He looked at the peice of paper Nor just handed him. "That would be great, although I will come out alone. Peiruh has been busy, with several extra things besides trying to prepare for the little one." He stops talking, and starts to eat.
Nor Noded as he grabed a pice of fish and dipped it in the sauce. "Not a problem, I'm sure we can work the detals out later." They both went quite for a bit while they eat thire food. Nor thought of how nice it would be to have some one like this near by. He would have to talk to them some more to make sure it would all work out. but maybe, just maybe he could feel a little bit like he a had some famliy again. All be it addopted. Nor grined at this, He would just have to try not to get his hopes up too much.
Vac quickly finished his meal, and sat back. He took a drink of his coke. "So, when would a good time to come visit and take a look at your land?"
Vac powered through his meal as Nor sat and enjoyed it a little more. He then asked when a good was, Nor just finnished a dirnk of his soda and responed. "Any time really. Things are kind of slowing down for me see that harvist is almost done with. So just any time is good for me" Nor took another bite of his fires, it was nice not to have to cook for once.
Vac smiled. "Nor, I hate to cut this short but, I have to head out. I have some work, that I need to get done. I will be out to see you in a week, does that sound alright to you?" Vac takes another drink of his coke, and awaits Nor's answer.
"That would be just fine. I'll see ya then. You have a good one." Nor shook Vacs hand with a smile on his face.
