As far as i can ascertain, you become one or the other in terms species, but you can have characteristics of others, if it something strange you're looking to create the Lukuo are the most flexible, as the mutations canm be almost everything. i'd wait for alex n jods first to confirm. there certainly isn't a cross breed option when you make the charcters. i may be wrong. probably. but i hope it's right and helps you x
Someone asked this before but asked if Fey's and another species could cross breed. And i think it was Jods, said no *first thing i think of is marsupials and placentals trying to breed*. I think most species can, there was something written about Anubi, because they keep to themselves and their religion secrecy and stuff, they wouldn't breed with others because they want their line pure. Or something. this might have been remnants of a chat with someone and may not be legitimate. So, as Mori said, I'd wait for Jods or Dumu~
Most pendragons can breed with others. I doubt there's any 'physical' hindrance between species. However, some groups, like the Anubi as already stated, wouldn't do it because of social purposes, like keeping a pure line or just because their culture is generally isolated. The only ones I think that are like that are Anubi and possibly Aquabat and Yki.
I'll drop in the official word here. :] The definition of a subspecies is that is is possible for them to usually interbreed. So in that respect, yes, it is possible to have a character that is half something and half something else. However... There are of course exceptions. Feydragon female feydragon + normal pendragon male = not possible male feydragon + female pendragon = possible Anubi Incest and inbreeding is incredibly common in Anubi. Inbreeding is really more common in traditional clans... which is why their bloodlines are weak, but still "pure." That said, it is possible for a half-Anubi to exist, but they'd be pretty much completely shunned by all traditional Anubi... since crossing bloodlines to them is bad and has been punishable by death in some circumstances. Yki While not nearly as obsessive as the Anubi, Yki generally stick to breeding within their tribes (some swear by it). But, that said someone who is half Yki is waaaay more common than someone who is half Anubi. Aquabat Since they're considered a completely different species, it's not possible for a half-Aquabat to exist. Oh... and another thing I think I should note is that some subspecies of pendragon lay eggs, while others give birth to live young. So, just make sure you're aware of that.

It depends on who the mother is: if you have a Yki for a mother and a pendragon for the father, for example, than the mother will give live birth, since her body is simply designed that way.
