<p align="right">Dyo 14th, 81380</p> After much careful deliberation in the wake of the chaos that ensued after the passing of Arch Magos and Magosai Zamfir and Karryasa Grader, a new form of government has taken hold of Ramath-lehi and has firmly spread its roots. The Council of Twelve has been abolished. In its place a new Council of Thirteen has been erected. Introduced by Koani Grader, the new Council is expected to be rather promising. The veto power that was once wielded solely by the Grader pair has now been spread amongst all of the new Council members. The remainder of this power has been invested in a sole Councilperson whose identity continues to remain anonymous. To celebrate the beginning of a new political era, the Council is holding their official inauguration aboard an ocean liner. Specific parties have already been extended invitations. If Koani isnÂ’t totally in change anymore and power is spread out more amongst the council members, is it still a dictatorship or more of a republic. =/ Just curious.
It'd be more simliar to a republic now. Most definately. ^^ Though there's still that anonymous member that has more power than the other twelve. So things aren't completely even. The Council are going to be the ones calling most of the shots from now on though. :] Council members are still being appointed too, and aren't voted into office by the general public. So it's still a far cry from democracy. It's a fun situation, lol.
I' guessing those other names are NPCs. Would they be overlapped later on by actual characters are will be stationed there until death?
Maybe, maybe not. We might even auction off some of the NPCs. TWO DOLLA! Just kidding. I mean like... adopt them out.
this is definately interesting and changes a lot i take it? what is going to happen to all of the graders still alive? are they still in power? do they still have any power? or is it now all in the hands of the new council members? and how were the members chosen? vote? random?
Er, nothing is going to happen to the other Graders. Only Zamfir, Karryasa and Koani were the ones with any real power. So no, aside from Koani now, the rest of them have zilch. All the power rests within the new council members. And the councilpersons were appointed.
So what happened to everyone with old ties to the Graders and such, were they simply discarded of in favor of the new system? Or do they have a nice pension to retire to on some tropical beach? heh.
