Considering my activity's alternated between "basically not here" and "sort of here" lately... sure, why not? :P Name's Nasuella. I used to be known as Kwoiffei, but at some point decided to switch over to a more spellable/pronounceable handle... so naturally I went for one that people have trouble with. Elsewhere online I also go by BlueCoati, and people have trouble with that too. (And very few people get my real name right. Sigh. I'm just cursed in that regard, I suppose.) I've been roleplaying on-and-off for over ten years now; I got started with play-by-post forum games, dabbled in chat-based roleplaying, and recently I got into tabletop RPGs. In fact, I should be in my first ever D&D game soon. (4th edition played online, if anyone's wondering. So I get to try out improv voice acting. Fun!) I joined Shadowlack... early last decade, I think? (EDIT: Just checked - nine years ago. Yikes!) Back when it was still Ramath-Lehi, and I was still in high school. Funny thing is, while I have had a number of characters here, my primary contributions to the site have all been on the worldbuilding front. Not that I mind. In fact, I love worldbuilding, and I think Shadowlack's partly responsible for that. :D My biggest contribution, by and large, is the Feydragon race. Oh, and IRL? Well, for one, I'm getting into propmaking. And for another, I've gotten into the local zine scene, and I may or may not be getting one of my comic books published towards the end of the year. So yeah, I'm going places... somehow.
I think you may always be Kwoiffei inside of my brain. :) Feydragons rock! I certainly appreciate you helping out on the worldbuilding front. I'd love to have more people that contribute like you do. D&D is pretty amazing. There's all sorts of tabletop games out there. I've played 4e, and 3.5e D&D myself. I like them both, although the gameplay between the two is rather different. I think you'll enjoy it. What's your propmaking experience like so far? I ah... have begun to dabble as of late because I got roped into cosplaying. *coughs*
I think I am going to enjoy D&D. :) Funny thing is, I caved in and got the books mainly because I'd been following a 4e campaign played online for months - so I got to see and learn a lot about how the game works just from watching it. Hopefully those lessons will pay off when I start playing! Honestly, a lot of my propmaking experience so far has been as part of a team working on commissions - we were hired to make table decorations for business events. I did get some ideas for other things I could make, but I'd have to make them in my own time and I don't really have the space or resources to do so at the moment.
I'm always super stoked when I see your name pop up in the Recent Edits list on the Wiki and that fact that you keep coming back fills me with happy internet feelings :D I use the French word for hair(coif) as a guide to pronounce Kwoiffei. This is probably wrong. But I think I've come to terms with calling you Nas in my head these days. I've also just into playing D&D and am really enjoying it! What kind of character do you plan on playing? Think there's any chance of your zine ending up online somewhere?
