OoC - 6° Mia 81380. BiC - Riot stepped out the front door of her house, and carefully locked it behind her. She then clipped her keys to her belt loop, and shuffled down the walk. Because she lived in an upper class settlement, there was a tall fence around her property. Upon reaching the gate, the thill had to press a button that was attached to her set of keys. The wrought iron swung forward quickly, and Riot easily slipped out. She pressed the button again once she was clear, and the gate locked securely behind her. Content that her house would be safe and secure during her absence, the female then set off down the street. The walk to The Watering Hole was not a long one, and only a few minutes later, the banded pendragon ducked into the posh restaurant. Since it was early evening, it wasn't too crowded, but she knew the dinner rush would be arriving soon. Padding carefully between the booths and tables, she made her way to the bar and took a seat upon one of the stools that was upholstered to look like a stumpy cactus. Just a few seconds after she'd made herself comfortable, a bartender wandered over. He was a handsome male, probably a few years older than Riot, and he leaned onto the countertop, his palms splayed. He gave the thill a rather charming grin, and she returned it, but only faintly. She held up a hand, exposing a platinum band around her left ring finger. Though it wasn't a wedding ring, or even an engagement ring, or even an anything, it worked. He gave her a knowing smile and leaned backwards, though he continued to gaze at her. The arden obviously wanted to know which drink she wanted. I'll just have a cherry cola, lots of ice, Riot said, putting her hand back down. To tell the truth, the ring hadn't even been from Cayson. She just wore it to get males off her back. Oh, and a straw, please, she added as the bartender moved away to prepare her drink.
Tian was dressed tonight as a cocktail waitress tonight..hoping for a nice good con....it had been awhile since she had done anything decent, with all the romps she has had with Kira..he took up most of her time...she enjoyed it..but she wanted to make some cash. Looking around as she pretened to take orders she didnt know who to nab.... "blast..what a bad crowd"
As she waited for her drink to arrive, Riot glanced around the restaurant. There were several groups seated at the tables or in the booths that lined the windows, and a couple here or there. When she brought her eyes back towards the bar and peered down the row of stools, she noted that there were several lone ardens seated not too far from her. Several were nursing drinks, and others had their gazes glued to the various television sets posted around the building. Typical males, Riot said to herself, though she smiled a little. Before long, the tender brought her drink back. He laid the tall, frosted mug full of cola on a napkin, and pushed it towards her. She noticed he had added a real cherry amongst the ice cubes, and she gave him an odd albeit appreciative look. She then drew the cup towards her mouth, and sucked on the straw there. It was white with a red strip down each side, her favorite colors. As the thill sipped, she watched the cute bartender move away to refill one of the loners' drinks. Not too far from him, there was a female bustling around, taking orders here and there. Riot watched her with slight interest, noting the other's large bust, slender waist, and long, toned legs. When she glanced away, she noticed that several of the solitary males seated at the counter had torn their eyes away from the televisions and were also staring at the purple thill, entranced by her cocktail waitress get-up. Typical males, Riot said to herself again, though now there was a hint of disgust upon her face. Flicking an ear backwards, she took a long gulp of her drink, then placed the glass back on the counter. She wondered if all males would drool over that body. Riot herself had an athletic, trim form. Her chest was a lot smaller than the waitress's, but she knew she was attractive, with her flat stomach and her slim form. It was amazing how being in the presence of another good-looking female made her lose confidence, though... She found herself wondering what Cayson would think of this bar wench.
Tian looked over at the thill who seemed to eye her rather...well....jealously? She wasnt sure..but the way the female looked at her wasnt happy....was she stealing her thunder? Maybe taking attention away from her. This thill was rather...cute.. but things like that happen in life. She smiled and winked at her "Hello Darling" as she walked by the thill, taking an order of a male and handing it to the bartender. Soon she saw a nice, big, fat well dressed man come in and sit down a table away from the bar. Tian eyed him for a few moments. The way he was dressed and the nice long gold chain he had around his neck was very appealing..but was it real? She studied for a few moments with the way his chain glimmered...it was real. She grabbed a thing full of drinks, hiked up her skirt a little bit and walked by the man saying a soft hello..instantly grabbing his attention. She smiled and delivered some more drinks to other people. Soon..she would act.
Riot blinked but remained silent with the tending thill greeted her. Had she been staring earlier? She shrugged to herself, deciding it didn't matter, and busied herself with digging around in her jeans pocket for a cigarette. It wasn't long before she found one, held it between two fingers, and then lit it with her red lighter. By the time the smoke trailed from her muzzle, she'd forgotten about the waitress. That was, until a rather robust arden shuffled into The Watering Hole, and dropped his bulk into seat at a table not too far from her. Riot turned a bit in her seat, to glance at him, while she idly tapped her cigarette against the lip of a nearby ash tray. He had the look of wealth, especially with all that weight settling around his middle. He obviously eats well, Riot said to herself, and made to turn to face the bar again. However, even as she scooted her rear end, the cocktail waitress exited from behind the counter, and Riot watched her. As she passed by, she hiked up her skirt, and Riot's eyebrows lifted. What was that girl up to? She was pretty sure the waitresses didn't usually whore themselves out to rich mob boss lookalikes around here. Watching out of the corner of her eye, Riot used the hand that wasn't holding the cigarette to stir her straw in her cherry cola. She wanted to look occupied, and not as if she was spying.
She walked back to the fat arden and stood there with her pen and pad wready to write. "Well hello there, hun, can i get you anything?" He looked up at her with a pleased smile, and a golden one too...most of his teeth replaced by gold and silver. He wiped sweat off his forehead. "I would like a nice-" "Sorry, hun, I cant hear you lemme fix that" she leaned down so he could see perfectly down her shirt. "Now..you where saying" He gulped and looked at her...the sweat he had wiped off a second ago just re-appeared quicker than it had been taken off. "yeah...uh...howabout some water to start with.." he smiled up at her, still staring down her dress. "Sure" she smiled seductivly and walked back to the bar.
Kama sat at a table at the side of the resturant. He wore simple jeans and a dark blue tee-shirt. He seemed to be casually eating some type of pasta dish. However, out of the corners of his eyes, he was keeping a careful watch. Kama had discovered that a fugitive drug lord was residing in the Watani area of Ramath. This particular drug lord had a high bounty on his head. However, Kama wasn't interested in the bounty that the drug lord had on his head. He was more interested in the information the drug lord had with him. The drug lord owned many drug factories. When the officials of Ramath discovered what he was up to, he had hidden his vast amounts of wealth, disguised himself, and run. Rumor had it that the drug lord carried on him the name of where his wealth was being stored as well as the password required to access it. Of course it was heavily coded, but Kama could cope with the desk work, after he got the paper. Then again, one could never be so sure if there actually was a vast amount of wealth hidden. What Kama had heard were only rumors. However, he knew for a fact, or was at least 90% sure, that the drug lord was residing in the Watani area for time being. Kama wasn't the only one who knew this information. Most other bounty hunters in Ramath had gotten word that the drug lord was in Watani. That being the case, he was also on a constant lookout for any other bounty hunters. The creed followed by the "honorable" bounty hunters said that any other hunters hunting the same bounty as yourself, you were allowed to dispose of. With the number of hunters after the drug lord, why was Kama confident that he had a shot at capturing this bounty? Kama saw from the corner of his eye, at a table on the other side of the resturant, Timaro. Two tables over from Timaro sat Sabata. Most bounty hunters worked alone, but Kama was an exception... OOC: Sorry, I had started my post when you guys had each posted twice. Sorry if I seem to be intruding.
When the female leaned downwards so that the chubby arden could see down her shirt, Riot grimaced and looked away. Watani was an upper class area, and here was a proverbial whore, waitressing at one of the nicer restaurants? Stormwing figured they were probably everywhere, though, thills trying to sell their bodies or get rich quick. Girls who were willing to go to bed with any arden if only she could make a profit from it. Though Riot had had her "scummier" moments in life, she'd never even pondered the idea of selling her body. She had been an accomplice in a brutal murder, had indirectly killed another, had sold and taken drugs, and done a few other rather illegal things. However, her sexual life was squeaky clean for the most part. In fact, though she'd been with Cayson for a few weeks now, the two hadn't even gone beyond kissing, and she was hoping it would stay that way for a while. She respected her body, and his as well, and wanted to abstain until the right time. Riot picked up her nearly empty glass, and drained it. The cola was fairly watered down, but she didn't care. When she put the cup back down on the counter, the tending arden swiftly flocked towards her, asking her if she wanted a refill. Once again, Riot found herself appraising his features with dubious but appreciative eyes. Could I just get a water, please and thank-you, she said to him. Then, hastily, she added on, Is that slutty girl really an employee here? I didn't think this place hired whores. It was a direct and cutting remark, but that was Riot for you.
Tian had made her way into the kitchen and grabbed some food taking it to a table, walking by the bar, hearing the slutty whore remark..but she didnt say anything...it didnt matter...she was using her body just to get money...heck this time she wasnt going to sleep with the dang fat man... she wasnt for sleeping with fat gross guys like this...well not to often anyways. She began to drop off the food and gave the fat man a drink and giving him a nice quick little view of her thong when she bent over to pick up a fork on the floor she "dropped" earlier. She moved back to the bar and smiled at the thill beging to fill up drinks for other customers. "I can fill mine...thank you" she said to the male behind the counter. Was his name Juackan? Something with a J. She looked at the thill... "Can I get you any food hun?"
Timaro looked at the menu. The resturant's menu seemed to have some good food. She had come in only 15 minutes after Kama. Sabata had finally just come in. However, she didn't pay any attention to him when he had sat down. She took a sip of her water. The waiter had already taken her beverage order. He now came to see what she wanted to eat. "May I take your order?" asked the dragon, who seemed to be paying a slight amount of attention to the seductress who wasn't too far away. Timaro closed her menu and handed it to the waiter. "I'll take the special for tonight please." "A delightful choice," spoke the waiter, writing down Timaro's order and walking away. Timaro wondered if she would get the chance to finish her meal before the bounty showed up. Timaro now glanced towards the seductress who had earlier been distracting her waiter. The seductress's actions indicated that she wanted something from the large dragon who she was serving. Either way, in a resturant like this, both the femme's actions and clothing seemed innapropriate. The manager of the resturant would surely have a waiter like that fired faster than you could say "jackknife." Prehaps the seductress was a bounty hunter...
At Riot's question, the arden glanced at the seductive waitress. I've never seen her before, he said, his voice low. I think she's new. Even as he said this, he eyed the female suspiciously, as if doubting his own conclusion. After a lingering look at her, he then faced Riot again. Well, I'll go get your water. Be right back, hun. The caramel thill grimaced slightly at the pet name, and watched him go. Just seconds after he'd disappeared towards the back, the cocktail waitress appeared, all smiles as she asked Riot if she wanted any food. She was slowly becoming the queen of stares and blank looks, and now was no different. Mismatched eyes pinned like lasers onto this whoreish female, before Riot eventually snapped out of it and shook her head stiffly. No, thank-you, she replied. She wondered what was up with the "hun" nickname around here. I have a question, though. What's your name, and how long have you worked here? I only ask because I'm a regular and I've never seen you before. Riot kept her gaze, unwavering, upon the bartender as she spoke. Her back was facing the restaurant, and she was no longer interested in the fat arden, nor anyone else in the restaurant. On that note, she had no idea that a familiar face was there in the crowd, either.
She smirked and continued to poor drinks, her mind race within the 30 seconds it took her to respond..her con-training took her through this..think hard..but thinking it fast. She opened her mouth. "Well Im a Con-artist and Im here to con a bunch of fat rich guys" she made a pause and began to laugh like it was a joke. "Nah...it is my first day..but Ive had many jobs working as a waitress....i worked for that nice resturant across town, Julians....." she smiled, her eyes diverting quickly to her pray. She actually knows the current shift manager here and managed to get herself in thru pulling in a favor for the day. "The Manager...wants me to actually review some of his staff for him since i work high class..see how they work with me and such..." she finished pouring all the drinks for the large table on the other side of the resturant and began ordering them evenly through weight. "Be right back" she walked off to the table
Sabata had just placed an order for one glass of water. While the female waiter was walking away, He heard the mention of con artistry and turned his attention to the seductress who had spoken. She then laughed about her comment and said that she was reviewing some things for the manager. Sabata wasn't sure that he believed what she said. Ever since he had come in a few minutes ago, Sabata had seen that seductress causing trouble. He was already suspicious. He knew that other hunters were lurking around here and there. Sabata saw from the corner of his eye Kama take notice of the seductress. He had a feeling that Kama shared the same thoughts as he about the femme's true identity. The femme needed to be removed from the scene. Bounty hunter or not, she was a threat to the operation. However, Sabata wasn't in charge of the operation. Kama was. Sabata stood up and walked over towards Kama's table. He suddenly turned his entire attention towards Kama. "Hey, Lyo, long time no see," spoke Sabata in a happy tone of voice. Kama turned to look at Sabata and then suddenly acted happy as well. He stood up. "Surprised to see you here, Tyke. How have you been?" Sabata walked towards Kama slowly. "Mind if I have a seat?" Kama nodded. Sabata sat down. "I was just around town and I decided to grab a bite to eat. I'm going back to Janardan tommorow." Kama smiled slightly while nodding. Sabata continued. "Its been a while since I've eaten here. I noticed a new waitress." he pointed towards the seductress who was now speaking to... Sabata wasn't sure if his eyes deceived him. Was that Riot who the seductress was talking to? He quickly returned his attention to Kama. "Oh yea, her. She's new here. I don't know a thing about her though," replied Kama. Sabata watched as Kama very discreetly extended the tips of the claws on his middle finger and thumb and rubbed them together. while throwing a glance towards the supposed waitress. Sabata smiled slightly and nodded. "I best get going back to my table. My waitress will be taking my order soon." spoke Sabata getting up. "Yea, nice talking with you." Sabata left Kama and walked towards the kitchen. As soon as Kama had given him the hand signal, he had thought of a plan. A surprised employee watched as Sabata entered the kitchen. As soon as he entered the kitchen, he counted to five and walked out. The other nearby employees took notice and stared in bewilderment at Sabata. However, because he was leaving, they didn't bother to question his actions. Sabata walked towards the seductress. As he got closer to her, recognized the dragon she was speaking to. It was Riot. However, Sabata had no time for chit-chat. He placed a hand on the shoulder of the seductress as the femme turned to go somewhere. "Mam, the manager told me that he wants to speak with you. He is in the back of the kitchen." Sabata's heart raced. He wondered if the seductress would take the bait....
Riot's eyebrows pined to life skywards at the other thill's joke about being a con artist, but she somehow willed them to remain still. Though the female puncuated her statement with a laugh and said it had been a joke, Riot did not laugh with her, nor even crack a smile. She wasn't so sure it had been a joke at all. And as the female — who hadn't even included her name as requested — went on to give her "real" reason for being here, Riot found herself immediately disbelieving. High class, she said tersely. I see. At that moment, the waitress turned to depart, and the bartender returned. He placed a cold glass of ice water in front of Riot, offered her a grin, and then turned to help with another order. His path was blocked, though, by an arden whose hand clapped down on the waitress's shoulder. Sabata, Riot said, mostly to herself, eyes widening a bit with surprise, before suddenly narrowing. She liked the guy, but felt very shifty around him, considering the last time she had hung out with him she had nearly been bombed along with her favorite shooting range. She could feel her hackles prickling beneath her clothes. Interesting. Just like him, she wasn't one for small talk, nor was she a part of the conversation, so she didn't say anything more. Mismatched eyes pinned on Sabata, the waitress, and the startled bartender, even as she took a toke of her cigarette. This night sure was becoming interesting — but what had Riot expected, really? Every damn time she came to The Watering Hole, something major went down.
Tian gasped surprised and handed out the drinks. "Uh...sure..." she turned and looked at this arden with a raised brow. She was unsure..but she didnt really know about the people who worked here much.....maybe....he did...she wasnt sure..but the moment it got fishy...she would act... Before taking one last glance at the fat man at the table she began to walk to the kitchen.
Sabata gave one last glance towards Riot before he began to move back towards his table. After arriving at his table, he would follow the femme he had just spoken to into the kitchen. However, he was beginning to become worried that he had drawn too much attention to himself. Prehaps there would be an unwanted dragon following him into the kitchen.... Timaro had been keeping a loose eye on Sabata. Judging by his actions, she assumed that orders had been given to him by Kama to remove the seductress. She couldn't do anything, though. However, Timaro was a bit curious. Sabata had shown an irregular amount of attention towards the carmel thill sitting not too far from where Sabata had spoken to the seductress. Did Sabata know her? Did he suspect her of being a hunter? Questions raced through Timaro's head. She hated the tension, but every hunter in the resturant was feeling the same way no doubt. She took a sip of her water before crossing her arms and leaning back in her chair. It would be a long night... Kama had nearly finished his meal, even though he was eating slower than usual. He had identified who he thought was the fugitive drug lord. Kama thought it was the well-fed dragon who the seductress had been seving. That dragon was the only dragon who's physical description matched what Kama had read about the drug lord. However, Kama wouldn't know for sure if he was truly the one he was looking for until he got to look into the eyes of that dragon. Things seemed to be rolling smoothly aside from the seductress who was unmistakably up to no good. She would be out of the picture soon enough...
Soon enough, Sabata moved along, without even acknowledging Riot. The bartender shuffled away from the scene, then, and the waitress did what she had been told. After this all unfolded, Riot found herself shrugging. None of this stuff was her business, and she supposed it would be best if she finished her cigarette and her drink and found somewhere else to go. Tipping her nearly spent coffin nail against the lip of the ash tray, she dropped it there to smolder. For a brief second, her mismatched eyes watched the thin trail of smoke coming from its business end, but then she trained her attention upon her glass of water. Using both hands now that they were free, she grasped the cup, brought it to her lips, and drained it easily. Finished, she set it back on the countertop, and wiped the leftover droplets from her banded muzzle. It was about time to go, Riot though, but first she sat still and glanced around the restaurant. For some reason, there was an air of tension, like something was about to happen. The thill admitted that she wouldn't mind sticking around to see what it was, though she wasn't involved, and though it could be dangerous. Well, I have my gun on me, she reminded herself when she thought of the potential danger, and she patted her thigh, where one of her pistols was held with a cotton garter.
Tian watched Riot silently as she walked by her...Riot was watching the man who touched her shoulder...could have this thill been what is making her go away? She almost felt like turning around and kicking the thill...but she still felt there was a possiblitity on getting some wonderful hard-made cash...fromt the fat man. She growled lowly as she walked by and entered the kitcen, looking at the kitchen...Wheres the manager? She walked slowly forward as cooks cooked and people bustled about.
As soon as the seductress entered the kitchen, Sabata got up and began walking towards the kitchen. He knew that if he was to do anything in the kitchen, he needed a diversion to get most dragons away from the kitchen. Sabata walked up to an employee. "Exuse me sir," spoke Sabata pointing to a random dragon he didn't even know. "You see my friend over there?" The employee nodded. "Its his birthday." The employee smiled. "Don't worry sir." The employee walked into the kitched ahead of Sabata and got a large group of employees together. Sabata walked past them to the back of the kitchen to where the seductress was. There was a nearby door which led from the kitchen to an alley way. In one swift motion as the gathered employees were leaving to wish the other dragon a happy birthday, Sabata opened the door, grabbed the seductress, and threw her into the alley way. Sabata then walked out of the door himself and closed it while pulling a handgun out of his pant's pocket. Some of the chefs saw Sabata's actions and gave each other a worried look. However, they had food to attend to and could do nothing. Instead, one of them called an employee to see what was going on. Outside in the alley-way, Sabata pointed his handgun at the seductress. "I don't intend to harm you, but if I see you again in the resturant..." The employee who had been called on to see what Sabata was doing had opened the door Sabata used. He was watching out a small slit. When he heard Sabata's words and saw the gun, he closed the door, pulled out a cellphone, and dialed a number to reach law enforcement officials. Meanwhile, Kama had finished his meal and had also just finished paying for his meal. He stayed in his chair a while longer, keeping a loose eye on the fat dragon. He had seen Sabata follow the seductress unto the kitchen to dispose of her. He expected Sabata to come back soon enough. Then, Kama saw the fat dragon suddenly get out of his seat before he had eaten any food and start to leave the resturant. Kama was quite surprised. As the fat dragon walked by Kama, Kama "accidentally" knocked a fork to the floor at the feet of the large dragon. Kama quickly moved in the way of the dragon to grab the fork. As he stood up from grabbing the fork, he looked into the eyes of the fat dragon who glared and walked past him. Kama waited until the fat dragon left before he placed the fork back on the table and then himself, left. The fat dragon was without a doubt, the fugitive. Outside, Kama followed the fugitive. As soon as the fat dragon walked by the alley-way near the resturant, he spotted Sabata holding a gun towards the seductress. Kama walked up behind the fat dragon. "Strange sight to see in a city like this?" asked Kama. Startled, the fugitive turned to look towards Kama who pulled a handgun out of his pocket. Kama pointed the gun at the head of his bounty. "It really doesn't matter, you've got a bounty on your head," spoke Kama keeping a calm tone of voice. "Fool," replied the drug lord. "You think that I who have escaped from the officials of Ramath could be killed by a single dragon and his handgun?" Kama was about to squeeze the trigger of his gun when he heard gunshots. Kama felt a shot whiz by his ear. He looked over towards where the shot had come from and saw a dragon holding a gun. The dragon was standing right outside of the resturant Kama had just come from. Back inside the resturant, Timaro had been watching a group of employees sing happy birthday to an embarrassed dragon who claimed it wasn't really his birthday. She just smiled and shook her head. After a few moments, Kama had left the resturant to follow the fat dragon. Another dragon had followed Kama. However, as soon as the dragon following Kama walked outside of the resturant, he drew a gun and fired it several times. As the gunshots were heard, the resturant became suddenly quiet. "Blasted," murmered Timaro, getting up out of her seat and moving swifly towards the door. As she moved at her jogging-pace, she drew a handgun. When dragons saw the gun, they shied away from Timaro as she came past them. As Timaro came within 2 meters of the window, she aimed the gun through the window at the dragon outside. She suddenly felt and arm wrap around her neck from behind and a knife tip touch the left side of her neck. "Put the gun down, miss," spoke a low voice from behind Timaro. Timaro stopped what she was doing, and slid the gun across a table to the right side if her. The sliding gun knocked over several glasses, spilling liquids on the floor. OOC: finished
OoC - *Neatly lines things up for herself* The seductress is being held hostage by Sabata who is being watched by the fugitive who is being held at gunpoint by Kama who just got shot at by an unnamed pendragon who’s unknowingly getting a gun pointed at him by Timaro who is now being held at knifepoint. Is that correct? Um, if anything about my post is off or doesn’t “fit" with what’s going on, let me know. I’m kinda lost, and just going with the flow? BiC - Even as Riot gave the restaurant what she thought was one last sweep with her mismatched gaze, a chain of events set into motion. In the kitchen, Sabata grabbed the seductive waitress and pushed her out of the door and into an alley, and then commenced to hold her at gunpoint. Even as he was doing this, the fat pendragon nearby to Riot’s seat got up and left, closely followed by one, then two others. She watched them with a disinterested look upon her face, before her eyes swung over to a table where a patron was being serenaded by a cluster of employees. As they sang, Riot stood up from her stool and began to make her way towards the entrance. Even as she did so, she heard gunshots, and she snapped to attention, her focus attaining a military sharpness as she glanced out of the restaurant’s front windows. Outside, one of the pendragons that had just left was holding a gun, smoke trailing from its muzzle, and inside, the birthday singers had suddenly gone silent. Even in the frozen moment of quietude, the shooter began to run, in the opposite direction from where he had shot. Riot could not see at whom the unfamiliar arden had shot, though she had a sneaking suspicion that it had been at the fat pendragon, or the other that had exited at nearly the same time. Wanting to see, she made a swift move towards the door of The Watering Hole. As she did so, she surreptitiously sneaked a hand past her belt and retrieved her own pistol, holding it at the ready, much like a police or military officer, as she approached the door. But before she could exit, and find out what the hell was going on, the thill’s attention was drawn to a scuffle between two nearby pendragons. Riot turned her mismatched gaze upon them, confused, as one held the other at knifepoint. The hostage quickly released her gun and slid it across the nearest tabletop, spilling many drinks, and before the last glass had even toppled, Riot drew up her gun and held it. It was not pointed at anyone in particular, though its general sweep encompassed the two struggling pendragons. “What in the hell is going on?" she asked, addressing anybody who would have any clue. Even as she spoke, she heard the distant wail of sirens.
