Her eyes held such a happiness, nothing could ruin the moment. She had lost her direction in life, the sea becoming just a grain of sand, thrown away in the beaches of life. Her boat, the CC. Deville, had been locked away in storage for years, a reminder of the parents she once had, for it had been their boat. The boat of a true warrior, a true demon, the boat that owned the Sagar sea. Her brother, Temcu, had informed her of a house, on the side of the sea, it was where she was born. The house had always possessed such a calm aura, unlike that of where Temcu was born. Bhim was no place for a child. Her lips curved at the side as they formed a smile, the first one she had given in months. She had always been much of a thinker, her thoughts deeper than others. She understood the aspect of life, of karma. Karma, the strange way of life in which she believed. Everything had an affect on the universe, even this sailing trip. Every grain of sand had a meaning, an importance. Every creature had a purpose. Esu slowed the boat, then to a halt. She had arrived at the very center of the sea, her favourite fishing spot as a young child. It had been a while since she had been in the area, it was time to test her skill. She took her fishing rod from the side of the boat and baited it with a piece of salted meat, then casting into the water and leaning back against the boat, she was on her way to her inner peace, but something was wrong.
The boat bobbed up and down not very far from her. The boat was all blue and a white font that said it's name was painted across it. The sail and motor was brand new and the streering wheel was easy to steer. The rented boat has everything needed. What it didn't have was a passenger. Where the passenger was, was a few feet away from the bobbing boat. Kien Amednu was enjoying her swim in the deep sea. Well, she didn't excactly come here for swimming, she was experimenting. She wanted to see if she can fly straight after dunking into the water. It's been a long time since she'd gone swimming and she found herself getting a little tired. I really need to swim more often. Alright, time to get out she thought. She spread her wings in the salty water and flapped it. She found it hard to do so but she continued doing it, her wing muscles working more than it used to. She got a few inches above her level and then her wings gave up. This is stupid. The thought went through her mind. Nodding and agreeing with herself that this is a stupid thing to do, she began to swim back to the boat. But she stopped after several strokes. She'd noticed that another boat was nearby with a lone pendragon in it with its back to her. She swam towards it and dived under. She went under the boat and in front, saw a fishing line with meat as bait. She tugged at the bait and surfaced, coming face to face with the dark colored pendragon.
Her eyes widened at the sight of the pendragon as she smirked. <span style='color:orange'>"It appears that I have caught a pendragon"</span>. She stumbled back into her boat, dropping the fishing rod to the deck. As it hit, the rod made a rather cheerful "Thump" sound. She had many questions for this pendragon, one for example, what was she doing on her line? What a way to spoil a perfect fishing trip, I bet you she scared away all the fish. She turned away from the pendragon for a second. <span style='color:orange'>"Don't you know, that you should never come face to face with comeplete strangers"</span>. She smirked and decided to test her mind. She concentrated her thoughts and placed a hand on the face of the pendragon, soon becoming a complete duplicate of her. Shapeshifting was always such fun. Out of all the trades in Ramath-lehi, it happened to be her favourite. She could transform into anything she touched. The form of this new pendragon would stay forever in her mind for easy access. The sun was starting to get to her, it had been hours since she had cooled off in the water. Esu fainted suddenly, returning to her normal shape.
<span style='color:skyblue'>Well, I guess this should be better than catching nothing, right?</span> she replied as soon as the stranger said her first sentence. As the femme dropped her rod on the deck of the boat, Kien continued to float in the salt water, watching every move she made. There's something about her looks that gives Kien a little strange feeling. Then the stranger spoke her second sentence and placed her hand on Kien's face. Alarmed, Kien bared her fangs and was ready to back away, but stopped and watched in amazement as the stranger changed her physical appearance and into her. Kien. <span style='color:skyblue'>Wha..? A shapeshifter?</span> she said. More to herself than to the duplicate of her. She was about to burst out a few strings of questions when the stranger fainted. Kien waited for a moment, thinking that it was some weird trick. When the stranger didn't do anything more, Kien went to investigate. Kien hauled herself up and unto the boat. Dripping wet, she kneeled down beside Esu and slapped her face. <span style='color:skyblue'>Hey... are you okay?</span>
She was walking along a beach in the darkness. She could see the waves of the cold ocean waters smash against the sand. A hand moved along her back, resting on her shoulder. <span style='color:gray'>"Esu"</span> it called. She turned around to see nothing except a strand of white hair, that of her brother, floating in the air. She woke up to the sound of the stranger slapping at her face. She suddenly felt a chill wipe over her entire body and a sharp pain in her heart. Had that really been Temcu, calling for her from the dark waters, a place which she believed to hold life after death. She looked at her hand, closed in a fist. What lay inside was a long white strand of hair, almost as long as she stood. Was it Temcu? The presence she had senced before. This was all starting to make such sence. He was under the spell again, that one from the demon, the spell of Khayda. She looked over to the strange pendragon, still clutching the strand of hair. There was nothing she could do, at the moment. <span style='color:orange'>"Thanks"</span>. She stuck out her other hand. <span style='color:orange'>"I'm Esu"</span>.
Kien shook the stranger's hand. <span style='color:skyblue'>I'm Kien</span> Seeing that Esu was alright, she sat down in a relaxed position. The wind was pushing her fur and she was feeling a little cold. <span style='color:skyblue'>Uh... do you have a towel?</span> Whether or not Esu brought her a towel to dry herself, she looked at Esu's clenched fist and noticed that she was holding something. Like hair. <span style='color:skyblue'>What's that?</span> she asked curiously, pointing a digit to what she was reffering to.
Esu smiled and reached over into a large bag in the corner of the boat. She pulled out a blue towel made of soft material and handed it to Kien. Esu opened her hand to the stranger. <span style='color:orange'>"It's hair of my brother, Temcu, from my dream"</span>. That made me sound insane. She was a dreamer, a writer, and most of all, a Nudecu. It didn't matter how strange she was. Strange defined her entire family. The cold wind blew against her fur, making her shiver.
Kien took the towel (which happened to be in her favourite colour) with a 'thank you' and wiped herself dry. <span style='color:skyblue'>I don't understand. A brother from your dream?</span> she asked as she tilted her head and shook it, trying to get water out of her ears. <span style='color:skyblue'>I mean how can your brother give you his hair from just a dream?</span> she stated. Just then, her rented boat floated by. <span style='color:skyblue'>Oh, no! I nearly forgot!</span> she jumped up and went to the side of the boat she was in. She reached out a paw to get the bobbing boat nearer. When it was done, she jumped in. She took an anchor and with effort, she hauled it up and over the boat. Tired, she sat down with a plop and await Esu's answer.
<span style='color:orange'>"Since we have been a child we have shared our minds and dreams, they are as one"</span>. She paused. It was hard to explain. Her brother, could come to her in dreams, as she could for him. <span style='color:orange'>"You would never understand"</span> she said. The Nudecu shared this abillity, claimed it for thier own. It was passed down from each generation to the next set of children. They had another set of cousins, Khayda Nudecu and Faekju Nudecu who could do the exact same thing. That was how her brother was cursed. It was then, thinking about her own bloodline, she realized how much she missed her brother. It had been almost a year.
She studied the femme's face. What did it show there? She didn't know. Kien didn't understand how it worked for Esu but she did sensed that Esu was probably missing a brother. <span style='color:skyblue'>Could I help you in anything?</span> she asked after a moment's of silence. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Sooo sorry for this short post.
