    <table class='ooc'><tr><td>When: 43, Dyo (Spring), 81380

The Library of Jardanan Academy was a sight to behold. Books arched on all four walls, filled to the brims in books. At the far side of the library was the computer lab, and, where there weren't books, there were hard, round wooden tables, sturdy enough to hold a good lot of books.

They would to hold up the towers of books held on one particular table. Books towered up like minature mountains on one desk, making a sort of a landscape. They were on many subjects, from the laws of physics to fantasy books. And, among these vast piles of books, with his nose practically glued into his current book about chemical reactions, sat the school bookworm - Mich Zappharin.

Mich was taller than most pendragons his age. His wolf-like, black-tipped ears perked slightly as he listened to teh sound of the library. His pelt was sea-blue, with the arms and legs banded navy. His hazel eyes, hidden behind thin-rimmed glasses, followed the words as if it was an epic bestseller - when in fact it was his chemistry textbook. His hair was an almost neon green colour, with some of his hair pointed forwards and falling into his eyes, while the rest fell backwards, like spines, and was quite long, explaining why some of it was in a ponytail. He wore a simple white shirt, with the top button undone, and baggy, beige shorts. His tail flame, which was made up of varying shades of green, waved slowly with his banded tail, trying not to touch anything and accidentally set it alight.

Mich's homework had been done ages ago, unlike his room mates, and he was bored. So, he had ventured down to the library to begin his nightly quest for knowledge. He had already gone through several books, and was was nearly finished reading his chemistry textbook.

The library had been pretty quiet - but not for long...

  2. ((ooc: Hope you don't mind if I join...I'll use Lysane, because I've suddenly had a very funny idea. ^^))

If there ever was a more unlikely occurance within the library, it would surely have to be of immense proportions. The arrival of Lysane Fusajtcoll in Jardan Academy's library had been talked about in whispers by a few of the students that seemed permantly hungry for gossip, though, in all honesty, no one was sure why it was such a grand event. One could only assume that the reason such a hysteria was made about the 'dragon's outing, was because many thought he was actually illiterate.

This was, in fact, not the case, because although Lysane opted to read his textbooks upside down or back to front, he was actually rather studious when he put his mind to it. If the library had actually been noisy to begin with, then surely the presence of a smallish bright blue penddragon dithering in the entrance would have cast a stunned silence upon student and staff alike, but as there was some ridculous rule about silence at all times, the mute teenagers could only get louder. It began with a single clap from someone hiding in the cookery section, but then a large proportion of the students were applauding and making comments, much to the dismay of the librarians, who began to flap about the hall shushing students here and glancing back to Lysane with furious faces. He grinned and shrugged in what might have been reguarded as a mocking manner, before stepping off into one of the rows of books, running a finger along their spines. Afer a moment, he selected a title and tried to heave it from the shelf.

To Lysane's dismay, the book would not budge. He tugged lightly with one hand, before suddenly jolting the novel and pulling with all his might. This seemed to work, and the book flung itsself through the air, and over the top of a table, knocking over an ornemental vase which skittered and landed on the floor with a rather ear-splitting crack. As silence had only just been restored by the staff, the inevitable happened and murmur broke out as an assistant jumped out from behind a shelf and began to pick up the pieces on the floor, his eyes searching for the culprit. Lysane gulped and flung himself back down the row, this time opting for a much less stuck book and pulling it into his arms, before collapsing into a chair at a table where another 'dragon was already seated with a hefty textbook.

Tilting his head to the side, Lys read aloud.

<span style='color:0099CC'>"Chemistry."</span> he said with mock struggle clear in his voice, before smirking and rocking on the hind legs of his seat.

  3. ((OOC: No problem, Flishe! xD))

Mich, who had barely noticed his roommate's entrace into the library, just continued to read, his eyes scanning through the pages of complicated chemical equations. He only noticed Lysane when he bumped into the table and collapsed on a chair at his table. He coughed, and set down his book, grinning.

<span style='color:green'>"Well, it appears that the so-called illiterate Lysane has descended from the room of where all music rises and drifted into the great beyond, where the great scrolls of knowledge lie in it's icy, yet warming, depths,"</span> Mich teased, before lifting up his book, and continuing to read.

<span style='color:green'>"So,"</span> he continued, <span style='color:green'>"what brings you to the library, my good friend?"</span>

  4. <span style='color:0099CC'>"Oh contrare, my good friend."</span> With a knowing shake of his head, Lysane whipped a small white plastic contraption from his pocket. He flipped a switch and a steady stream of music began to sound from the earphones. He grinned and switched the music player off, picking up his book again. <span style='color:0099CC'>"Actually, I happen to have an exam tomorrow, and instead of getting drunk and forgetting all about it as we all know I usual do, I am in fact revising."</span> He held up the book as if to prove a point, but then noticed it was entitled "A Brief History of Scapals". Of course, it would have helped if the book actuall related to his coursework.

  5. Mich coughed in mock suprise, pretending to choke, before bursting out laughing, <span style='color:green'>"YOU? Lysane? The guy who always gets drunk before an exam? STUDYING?"</span> Mich laughed as hard as he could, but then he really did choke, dropped his book, and reached for a nearby bottle of water, and took a large gulp of it, which calmed him down. A loud cry for quiet came from down the checking-out desk as he gasped for his breath back.

He turned to Lysane, eyes watering, <span style='color:green'>"Lysane, I blame that on you entirely," </span>he coughed again, before getting another cry for quiet. He looked up, yelling, <span style='color:green'>"Alright, I'm shutting up!"</span>

He slumped back on his chair, before picking up his chemistry book from the floor, and continued to read. He then added, <span style='color:green'>"Er, Lysane? You do realise that's not the right topic, aye?"</span>

  6. <span style='color:0099CC'>"I was indeed fully aware of that."</span> Lysane lied, nodding his head in a very dignified manner. <span style='color:0099CC'>"But I sometimes find myself with an urge to find out more about medical instruments. It's not something I like to talk about, but..."</span> The pendragon shrugged and sighed dramatically, waving a hand casually. <span style='color:0099CC'>"So, have you just come to um..entertain yourself, or is there some reason for your presence here?"</span> Lysane asked Mich, before picking himself up and returning the Scalpals book, returning with a large, brightly-coloured paperback entitled "The Past, Present and Future Of Electro".

  7. Who; Joo-Eun Fai
(Hope you don't mind me joining =P I suck at introducing characters. TT-TT)

Joo-Eun stifled in her laughter; she had been watching for just a couple of minutes, no she wasn't stalking them, it was simply a matter of looking up at the wrong time, it wasn't everyday you saw a book flying through the air knocking over a vase, in a library...
She should've been studying for her test coming up, but now her attention was wandering away from her studies...she always did have a hard time focusing.
Sighing after a while, she forced her eyes back on the book before her...it seemed like she read the same page...no wait the same sentence a million times before. <span style='color:orange'>"This is pointless, hopeless, I'm so gonna fail,"</span> she muttered under her breath.

She rested her head on her palms, staring down at the words; her thoughts drifted off again, she closed her eyes...and that one movement resulted in her falling asleep for a split nano-second, her hands gave in and her head dropped down, her head and the hardcover book's impact caused a loud bang...
    <span style='color:orange'>"Ow."</span>

  8. ((OOC: No probelm, Kaida.Maria! Your introduction was fine.

<span style='color:green'>"Entertaining myself,"</span> Mich grinned at Lysane, <span style='color:green'>"What else do I intertain myself with but the grand knowledge hidden within written tomes..."</span> he himself began to drift into a little daydream of his own. He loved to tease Lysane with confusing language.

It was a loud thump that jolted Mich out of his daydream, and he whipped around, almost whacking Lysane over the head with his hand. He blinked, <span style='color:green'>"What on earth was that?"</span>

He then saw the slightly younger pendragon who had slumped off her book, and cocked his eyebrows. Girls. Too confusing to understand. A foreign species in his eyes.

    <span style='color:green'>"What happened?"</span> he questioned the girl.

  9. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
    <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Who: http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=1073Kokuteju Cecisofi</a></td></tr></table>

<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Lilac eyes glanced upwards from the pages of the dusty tome as a loud thump reached her grey and black tipped ears, narrowing into a scowl at being disturbed once more. Revision was not Kokuteju's favourite pasttime, and therefore she wasn't pleased at being disturbed by shattering vases, loud bumps and voices that weren't being kept all that quiet, although it was admitted that she'd been watching the 'dragons through the books, on the other side of the row. Deciding that, with all this noise, she wasn't going to get any revision completed, the fey angrily shut her book as loud as she could, hoping to irritate them.

As more voices became audible, the fey scowled, threw her book onto the desk and headed across to the other side of the row, her long brown skirt swaying as she did, black boots clicking against the floor. Despite being small, slightly smaller than three feet, a pair of muscular and powerful insect wings were lifting into the air, light catching onto them and reflecting greens, pinks, purples and blues. Opening her mouth to begin throwing harshly whispered words at them, Koku stopped short on seeing the two males. A mixture of confusion and anger crossed her face for a moment, recognizing the two males as two of her dormitory neighbours. Another look crossed her face which gave the impression she wanted to slap the pair of them.</span>

  10. <span style='color:0099CC'>"Mich, what have I said about your Ye Olde talk?"</span> Lysane whined. <span style='color:0099CC'>"Speak English, boy! I'm a philosopher. Thinker, not a...worder."</span> he was about to add to the little speech but noticed Mich was now paying attention to some girl. Girls...generally good fun, actually. Lysane tended to sympathize with them as far as romance issues were concerned. And then, his eyes spotted another of those curious females. Well, curious to some. Lysane was sure he had them pretty figured out. He looked at her, and squinted a bit- sure he recognised her. OH!

Koku. One of the crazy girls from the dorm next door.

    Fantastic.

  11. Whimpering she covered her forehead with her hand in hopes of stopping a bruise from occurring on her sensitive skin.
She shifted her attention toward a male ‘dragon when she realized he was speaking to her, <span style='color:orange'>“Book, head, slept, fell,"</span> She muttered in annoyance glaring at her book, she was simply too lazy to put a proper sentence together at the moment.
<span style='color:orange'>“Sorry ‘bout the noise-"</span> Joo-eun began apologizing but was suddenly interrupted when she heard someone clearly throwing a book on a table. She glanced over and saw a small feydragon storming in their direction, <span style='color:orange'>“She doesn’t look very happy,"</span> Joo-eun whispered.

  12. Mich nodded and gulped, muttering under his breath, <span style='color:green'>"Is she EVER happy with us?"</span>

He then turned nervously around to Kokuteju, visibly shaking. Of course, like any - or rather most, as he spotted Lysane - teenage boy, got nervous about girls. But it was the girls next door that scared him. Why did they have to have girl neighbours? And especially have to have an irritated feydragon and an awful cook?

<span style='color:green'>"Um... hey, Koku?"</span> he asked nervously, preparing for the girl to explode at any second.

  13. <span style='color:#CCCCFF'>"Don't 'Hey Koku' me!"</span> Snapped the feydragon, keeping her voice to harshly whispered tones, as people should do in the library. <span style='color:#CCCCFF'>"It's bad enough that you two - and the other two, wherever they are - keep us up with your partying-"</span> Here her eyes snapped to Lysane. <span style='color:#CCCCFF'>"-but to prevent me from being able to revise! Especially you, Mich. I would have thought better of you."</span> Calming now, the fey turned away, and then turned back again, much calmer and without anger on her face. <span style='color:#CCCCFF'>"Sorry about that,"</span> She said, addressing the female 'dragon. <span style='color:#CCCCFF'>"I was welcome of the break anyway, guys."</span> She added, talking to Mich and Lysane.

  14. Lysane resisted the urge to retort with "Revise for what? Your exam in manners? Because if so, I'd willingly tone it down. You need all the help you can get!" And such was his sense of humour. He burst out laughing at his own joke, and in doing so, fell off his chair, and neatly dropped his electro book which landed upon his head. <span style='color:0099CC'>"Owwww."</span> he muttered feebly, rubbing his temple and slowly getting up and climbing back into his seat. When he looked up, it seemed Koku was calmer. Jeesh. She was so unpredictable. That was it. Lysane preferred boys because they were easier to predict. Easier minds to work with.

  15. <span style='color:orange'>"It's okay..." </span>Joo-Eun mumbled, still shocked about the sudden change in mood. Her attentioned wandered between the 3 'dragons, eventually she realized that they must've known each other, since they were addressing each other by the names.
Suddenly Lysane started laughing. Joo-eun looked at him, clearly bewildered at his sudden outburst. She turned to the others for an explanation.

    (Bad post x.X Sorry )

  16. Mich was about to bark at Kokuteju, but thought better of it, due to her temper. Instead, he slumped down his seat, scowling, arms folded, glaring at Koku. It was then that Lysane burst out laughing, making Mich jump yet again.

Mich then saw Joo-eun staring in bewilderment at Lysane, and he shrugged, saying, <span style='color:green'>"Don't ask what Lysane here's doing. He's been my room mate for ages and I STILL don't know what goes on in that head of his."</span>

His face then lit up, and said, <span style='color:green'>"By the way, the name's Mich. This boyo here,"</span> he gestured at Lysane, <span style='color:green'>"is Lys, and over here, you see the wonderfully tempered Kokuteju."</span>

  17. The feydragon swivelled round quickly, giving the laughing 'dragon one of her darkest glares and scowling at him, knowing that whatever he was laughing about was probably something to do with her. Her wings were moving faster than before, becoming almost a blur, as she tried to repress her anger long enough to come out with the retort, <span style='color:#CCCCFF'>"You have no idea how much I want to drop a thick, heavy book on your head right at this moment,"</span> Said Kokuteju, giving Mich another of her glares as he mentioned her temper. After a moment, she turned around and added to Lysane, <span style='color:#CCCCFF'>"Make any comments about my height and size and therefore my ability to actually drop a book on your head and I'll drop a glacier on your head instead."</span> This, of course, was a bluff, as Koku didn't have anywhere near enough power to create a glacier and drop it on Lysane's head. That didn't mean, of course, that she didn't have enough power to manipulate some water against him.

  18. Mich's cheeks began to give off a steady heat as he gulped, pulling at his collar nervously. He had trouble around girls normally, but when Koku showed up...

<span style='color:green'>"Sorry, ma'am,"</span> he mumbled, his once elegant voice whittled down to a small whimpering squeak. Knowing that he was being watched only made him more embarassed an nervous.

((OOC: Arg. Short and horrible. Sorry!))

  19. (Too tired to put a proper paragraph together, but yeah..this is all I can come up with ><)

"Mich...Lysane and Kokuteju-" She repeated to herself in hopes of locking them into her memory, "Oh and my name's Joo-Eun..." she added carefully after Kokuteju threatened Lysane. A small smile spread on her face as soon as she heard Kokuteju add the, "Make any comments about my height and size and therefore my ability to actually drop a book on your head and I'll drop a glacier on your head instead,"
Joo-Eun wasn't tall herself, it was even more embarassing when people found out she was a weredragon, her whole family went into the 5"9's and she had been 5"3 since she was 13.
Her attention wandered back to Lysane. She rose an eyebrow wondering what exactly was funny,
