Persais walked at a slow pace, he was enjoying the silence of the jungle where he could retreat within himself and be calm. His muscles rippled easily each time he made a single move underneath the pure black fur that was well kept. His braids that were tied from his mane made a slight noise as his head looked over here and there; the eyes flickered over the plants and trees slowly as if savoring the visual delights of the jungle. In some ways the vibrant colors seemed to be alive with pure joy. Here and there a bird flew to a tree, its shadow a fleeting moment. It was peaceful for him. For others maybe not since the jungles could be dangerous but for Persais it was a place where he could get away from the hassles of life and be at one with himself. Sometimes even a Master of Warriors needed a place where they could relax without the need to fight every second. Without the need to save their lives over and over again. He even regretted killing those who were stupid to fight him over a little cause. If only he could bring them back but he could not. Most warriors never knew the Warriors Way. If they did then they would have not sought out fights but instead learned that it was yourself that you fought not others. Master after Master in the clan passed on the Warriors Way to those that was gifted to it. He also taught this art to those that were capable of understanding what it meant to be a Warrior. Some grew up to be one of the greatest Warriors in Ramath-Lehi while others wasted their talents needlessly. For those that wasted their talents, he tried to teach them the Warriors Way, he forced them to learn it whether they liked it or now. He made them remember and some ‘dragons were grateful to him because of that. With a content sigh he sat on a large rock and stretched his body so that he could lay his head on his paws. Slowly he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. He was sleeping lightly, his body was rock-still and the only signs of life was the occasional lazy flick of his tail.

The soil was cool beneath her paws as she walked silently through the trees. Shafts of sunlight pierced the green canopy overhead, creating slender pillars of light here and there. Green shadows fell across Faedra's ebony silver-tinted fur, making her look even more mysterious. Her aquamarine and midnight blue eyes searched her surroundings wondrously, admiring the beauty of the jungle. It was so peaceful here. One could almost forget to be on guard all the time. In spite of her apparent ease, Faedra was always alert, even in such a tranquil atmosphere. Growing up alone, constantly within reach of danger, she had become wary of every environment. She would only fully relax when she knew for certain that the area was safe. But her keen senses detected another presence. The black and silver pendragon stopped in her tracks, listening carefully. She only heard silence. She sniffed the air, and sure enough she caught another's scent. Even so, curiousity overcame fear. She sensed no ill will or malice from this other presence. Through the foliage, Faedra could see a form lying on a rock. She pushed through the greenery but stopped short behind a line of trees to observe for a moment. She had to admire such a specimen. Even from where she crouched, she could see the male's muscle tone beneath his black pelt. He had the look of a strong fighter. All the same, Faedra felt no need for extreme caution. And she had to admit, she was slightly lonely for some company after spending nearly her whole life alone. Perhaps she would approach this stranger and remember once again what companionship felt like.
