Ujjyf once again moved along a crowded street, though this time he wasn't in a very aggressive mood, so he just huddled in on himself and hoped no one would notice him. If only he hadn't gotten lost on the way home, he would be back soaring among the mountains he'd grown up in instead of trying to find someone who spoke Ramathian so he could figure out where he was.

He yelped when someone grabbed his tail, turning to give a startled look to the Kiom-Washib standing there. Blinking as the male turned and walked away, Ujjyf continued his wandering, keeping his tail curled tightly around his legs now. Finally sick of the streets, he ducked into an alley, finding a box to sit on and looking around him. There had to be someone there who could help him.

What a boring damn day. Nothing happened, he was tired of studying and wanted to do something different. Not that different varied from what he usually did... which was sulk around doing fire tricks to try and get rid of his boredom. And he usually did this in an alley where he wouldn't be bothered, which kind of made no sense if he was bored. But it was Gunner, you couldn't expect much else.

The arden let out a yawn as a young 'dragon came into the alley he was currently in and he doused the flame at his finger tips, sort of watching the guy for a moment before deciding that the kid looked out of place. <font color="#7f8497">"Hey kid, you lost 'er somethin'?"</font> he asked gruffly, probably startling the Yki. Oh well. Guy needed to toughen up while wandering the Black Market; he looked pretty rape-able with that scared, unknowing expression on his face.

  3. Ujjyf jumped slightly, looking at the shadowed Kiom-Washib he hadn't noticed before. "Ah...E pym's ompajtsump fhus iyo tuep. Kum iyo sall na fhaja E un?" He asked hopefully, tilting his head curiously. Kiom were strange here. Why was this one hanging out in an alley? It was almost like when he found Gyr, but the male in front of him didn't look beaten and bloody, so it was a little different.

He got a bad feeling when he was on the streets, but here it felt a little more protected, even if the male was giving him a strange look. He wondered what the other'd asked, and why everyone avoided the alleys here as if they were monsters.

Gunner probably wouldn't have thought twice if the kid had talked normally, and in fact, he probably would've left him there. But it wasn't every day you ran into someone who spoke Ramathian, and the guy was lucky Gun studied that for years; though he hadn't conversed with someone who spoke that for a long damn time. <font color="#7f8497">"Rlukc Nujcas. Rhen. Hyf sha hall pep iyo numuda sy das lyts? "</font> The arden spoke a little slowly; it was obvious he was a bit rusty at speaking Ramathian as he tried sounding out the words he normally shortened speaking english.

Really, how lucky could this guy be? To run into a guy who knew just about every place there was and someone who could speak fluent Ramathian? Really damn lucky, that's how. <font color="#7f8497">"Ni muna't Dommaj. Fhaja uja iyo vjyn? "</font> A better question would've been where he needed to get to, but that would come. He always seemed to ask where someone was from when it was obvious, but you never knew. Gun's expression changed to make him look more friendly since he was damn curious about the kid.

  5. Ujjyf couldn't help but jump up as the Kiom answered him in Ramathian, spinning in his "happy circle" as he often did. "Rlukc Nujcas? Rhen? Et shus umifhaja klyta sy sha Ky'Datudk Nyomsuemt?" He fired off eagerly, focusing bright eyes on the Kiom. He spoke slowly, as if he wasn't used to the language, but at least he was fluent; Ujjyf couldn't afford to be picky.

"Ni muna't Ujjyf, vjyn sha Dlukeajpjudym sjera em sha Ky'Datudk Nyomsuem Jumda." Ujjyf introduced happily, swishing his tail behind him. He probably shouldn't have been so quick to trust, but given the circumstances, he was willing to trust just about anyone. He would have had to tell the Kiom where he needed to go, anyway; may as well include who he was.

Whoa. This guy was far away from where he thought he was. Like, really, really far. Was he stupid or something? Slow? Retarded? Gunner gave him a weird look before he shook his head, <font color="#7f8497">"'Vjuep mys... hyf sha hall pep iyo numuda shus? <font color="#7f8497">"Iyo sjiem' sy das rukc shaja 'aj tynashem'?"</font> Man, he didn't expect to have to babysit a kid today... but he had been bored. Though he was already a little tired of the company, and tired of talking in a different language. Bitch, bitch, bitch. Oh well.

  7. Ujjyf pressed his ears back against his head as the Kiom told him exactly how far he was from home. He sank back down onto the crate, leaning his head into his hands. "Tsogep, tsogep, tsogep! Iyo'ja u hygalatt, epeysek vjauc, Ujjyf." He growled to himself, going back over the mental map he'd built when he'd left.

Looking back up as the Kiom spoke again, he sighed heavily. "E fut hygemd sy das rukc ravyja ni Kaim-Nyshaj's rejshpui, ros es't hygalatt myf. E'll huba sy nuca es og sy haj lusaj...tynahyf." Even flying his fastest with no breaks, he'd never get there in time for the celebration, and then he'd be even more outcast. They'd say he'd disrespected his elders.

Depressed by this thought, he leaned his head on his fist, staring at the wall across from him. "Nui ut fall mys abam dy rukc." He grumbled.

ooc: Sorry about the wait. We've been making a movie in class, and it's really time-consuming. Forgive me? :'(

Keeping those odd, slightly irritated eyes on the boy, he silently stood there listened to him say something to himself. All he heard was 'stupid', which pretty much summed him up. <font color="#7f8497">"Oh, iau.. dyyp lokc fe'shus, cep,"</font> he replied, tone dry. <font color="#7f8497">"Py i' abam cmyf hyf i' dys haja? Leca, fhus gyjsult? "</font> He was getting frustrated just talking to the kid now, I mean, who the hell gets lost <i>that</i> bad? Gun didn't know if he felt like helping Ujjyf back to where he could find his own way back home because that would require him to hold the idiot's hand all the way... but then again, he could've flown here... but that didn't seem too likely. It would've taken a long time. <font color="#7f8497">"... Yj pep i' vli? "</font> he asked after a moment, seeming to talk slower like the kid was retarded.

Rubbing his forehead, Gunner went quiet as he waited for some sort of response but didn't expect it to be any more helpful than anything else the guy had said. Or, if he stuck to the last thing he said, the older arden wouldn't have to worry about babysitting anymore.

  9. Glancing back up at the arden, Ujjyf perked up. "E vlaf vjyn Votona. Ev iyo kyolp qots gyems na em sha jedhs pejakseym, E'll ra yos yv iyoj huej em my sena." He could almost taste the older male's annoyance, and knew that, unlike Gyr, he didn't want to learn the culture and make friends. Best to just leave as soon as possible; he'd have to get a map first chance he got.

ooc: No problem. I'm going to me MIA til around the 28th, just so you know. :)

Oh, well, if that were the case he couldn't really help unless he went and got a map himself. Frowning a little as he thought, he shrugged a simple response. <font color="#7f8497">"Iaj dymmu maap u nug ev i'fummu vemp iaj fui rukc. E kum's gyems i'em sha jedhs pejakseym vjyn haja."</font> Where he would get a map, Gun didn't really know. He might have one back at his place, but would this kid be willing to follow a scary stranger to his place for a supposed map? Did Gunner even really wanna deal with that? It was just a kid, so that made the arden have a little more sympathy for him. <font color="#7f8497">"E nedhs huba yma rukc us ni gluka ev i'fummu ryshaj fesh es."</font>

  11. ooc: No problem. At least your back, right? :D

Ujjyf looked up, surprised, at the offer of a map. Maybe this arden wasn't so mean, after all. "Er...Toja, ev es't my sjyorla." Ujjyf smiled hesitantly, rising slowly and shuffling his feet a little. If he'd had a little more experience in the world, he might have hesitated more to follow the arden. As it was, he didn't get any bad feelings from the male, so he felt relatively safe. "Shumct."

  12. Yess! Also, you played Destiny on Myth, rightright?

Well, that settled that. Gunner ran a hand through his hair before brushing it out of his face, only to have it fall back into place when he started moving. <font color="#7f8497">"Eyphs, wulluq ni. "</font> Looking over his shoulder, he felt like he needed to tie a string to the kid's wrist so he wouldn't get lost. <font color="#7f8497">"Tseo kluti, eyphs? "</font> he added with a sound of urgency, wanting Ujjyf to understand that it was important for him to <i>not</i> get lost again. With that he headed off, not really waiting for a response. This was his kind deed for the year.

  13. ooc: Sorry it took so long, I forgot about this thread. >.< Feel free to whack me with a newspaper. :D And yes, I played Destiny on Myth. :)

Ujjyf jumped up to follow the arden as he disappeared around the corner, racing to catch up. He tucked his wings tight to his body once again, uneasy about the crowd that seemed to be trying to seperate him from Gunner. He shouldered his way passed them, managing to-barely-keep up.

OOC: It's fine man I've been pretty dead myself. ANNNDD I miss you over there, but atleast yer here :3

Gun didn't quite feel comfortable with the kid trailing behind; it'd be too easy for him to get lost again and then he'd just sit and cry in some alley until some creepy came along and kidnapped him. That would royally suck for him. So, the arden reached back and grabbed Ujjyf's shirt and dragged him along until they came up to his home. Then he dragged the kid up the steps and let go so he could pull out his key and let himself in. He went in and after a minute came back out, slapping the map to the boy's chest, <b style="color:#7f8497">"Uja i' kugurla yv vyllyfem' u nug? Ev i' uja sham q'ts vyllyf shet."</b>

  15. ooc: I'm sorry. :( I just completely lost my muse for the place, and I felt horrible when I kept disappearing. We can be friends here though, right? :D

Ujjyf hesitated as the arden thrust the map at him. Checking it, he figured it was easy enough to figure out. "Shumct." He said hesitantly, peeking at it again. He hummed, stepping back cautiously. "Er...E'll qots das yos yv iyoj huej myf." He turned to go, curling in on himself a little as if someone were about to steal the map from him.

Tilting a brow up at the kid, he silently watched him step back. One could only hope the guy got home safe without either getting snatched up or lost somewhere else and being unable to find someone generous enough to help him. Oh well. Gun sighed as he turned to go back inside to catch up on some studying.
