He sat down on a smooth lump of sandstone, the wind had eroded it to a smooth perfection that made a comfortable seat. He was planning on meeting another guardian tonight, one that had similar tastes such as him yet he wanted to find out her opinion on the upcoming events, yet he also wanted to talk. Just see other things, the new ages had sparked a curious ember in him that he wanted to satisfy. He grinned at himself and played with the darkness around him, making little moon shadows dance around in boredom.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Who:Qebehsenuef</td></tr></table> Qebeh was scouting the skies, looking for the gaurdian she was to meet, she flew another mile when she saw a shape in a chair, flying circles around it for a bit she realised it was who she was to meet and dove. She turned just in time and softly landed on the sand, and said "Hello, itresting place to meet, why'd you choose here?" she asked. she sat on a dune the was near where she landed, she was in a plesent mood right now, and realy did want to practice a song she had recently wrote. But knowing her, she couldn't turn down a meeting with another gaurdian, and so came, her mood was fairly well, and she hoped this meeting woulden't ruin a rare chance when she was in a good mood.
Seth smiled at the other guardian, giving her a slight tip of his head in a half nod, a small but clear sign of respect. He was a firm believer in the guardians crawling otu of their holes and communicating more. he hated it when everyone sneaked off into their own thing, it was some petty. Yet in truth he just wanted to wage war but it was a dream he knew that would never really happen unless he wanted to lose. He held back a sad smile and looked at his new company, she had a youth about here that was rare among their kind, it was like she was still a child. He grinned at her in a half smirk. " Well this is a nice spot, the sky is darkest here in this part of the desert." He said in his deep low pitched voice that echoed through the night. "Plus its good to meet anywhere, so howÂ’s life treating you then." his resonation voice spilling out. He was in a good mood and he almost didnÂ’t want to talk about politics.
"The normal, eating sleeping, doing what a anubi does nothing new" she said pulling her wings against her, it was slightly chilly. She brushed her hand in the sand a found a 'dragon's' skull, she pulled it out and played with it, looking at the size and whatnot. "How sad this 'dragon' was onlt in his or her teens" she said with no dismay. She snached and dragonfly type thing out of the air and crushed it, she liked to kill insects, she liked to kill anything acually.
Seth smiled at that, whatever an Anubi does indeed. He did many things, mostly summoning new creatures forth for the army of just plain blood drinking. His appetite had increased over the coming months, he saw it as a good sign but the local villagers didnÂ’t. In his experience when he was thirsty more frequently it meant a time of increased bloodshed was on the way, and that meant only one thing. His power would increase and then he could start the change. "Yes tragic" he said in the most no caring way yet full of sarcasm he could muster while he looked at the skull. "So have you been listing to our glorified leader much lately or has she missed you by." he said with the same filled sarcasm. Hathor irritated him the way she acted so powerful when she was just so young. Their were things that existed way before time came around. Darkness and light were some of the main ones, including death. Life balanced out death so that was just as powerful, yet the scales had been tipped, Hathor had got hold of some rare magic and she was damm well flaunting it around and it was getting a few backs up.
Qebeh chuckled, she had been having fun, killing those who acted all mighty against her, what inmputence they had used on her. She picked the skull apart, then desolved it, "Now no one will realise that 'dragon' is dead" she said, with no emotion at all. "What did you call me here for, i know you wanted to talk about something importian, you wouldn't call me just to chat, I know that part of you, you never want to chat" she said her mood imidiently changing, her voice became more stern. "I'm no fool, don't think my additude is nice all the time"
Seth sat back with a little mild surprise, he wasnÂ’t expecting her to get so hostile so soon yet some people did find him irritating. He smiled again at her mood, people angry made him smile, he took a certain pride in being able to piss people off. "Well I was curious to see if you had any ideas of your own about the impure running around in the desert, I think we all know about the rebellion on the political side." He said all fake innocently in almost a childs voice that sounded totally bizarre coming from his mouth where his usual deep voice filled. He was examining her intently, she had an attitude for a guardian who specialized in such non violent skills. He found it somewhat interesting, she certainly was brave in his opinion yet then most of the guardians were. His personal favourite was a female he knew. A very specific guardian of life in fact that made him sigh every time he thought of here, this was no exception. He took a deep intake of air and allowed it to flow back out making the familiar sound.
She looked at him, he had to be joking "I kill the impure, I kill the pure, I don't care who I kill, to me they are all impure"She rose to her feet, "I may not know magic, or any fancy things used to kill, but I manage, I don't care who is and isn't pure" She glanced around, making sure he hadn't set up an ambush with his undead, she had learned to be on gaurd, especially around another gaurdian, they had all started to betray each other some odd years back, so she was being more careful.
Seth just looked at her wide eyed, she was mad. He had no idea why she wanted to kill the Anubi, they were few enough of them and with the impure on the rise the needed to be careful. He saw her get all shifty and her looking around, she obviously didnÂ’t trust him. A pity. "Right well sooner or later you might want to leave the desert and kill everyone out side it, their the people we need dead." He said in a slightly concerned tone. He was almost half expecting her to attack him in a flurry of song writing yet he believed her when she said she managed. He hummed a bit at the stillness of the air, he could feel that the gentle breeze had stooped and a warm mugginess was taking its place.
She pulled out a staff from the darkness, it had a spike on one end and an ankh on the other to show him "This is my weapon, those outside the desert mean nothing to me, I kill those who come here and polute the desert, the desert provides our home, the anubi who were born here, I only kill them when it's thier time" She snorted in her disgust on how he though she killed anubi for the fun of it, she was acually offened, but she let that slide, for now.
Seth grinned slightly, he liked he weapon but it was rather feeble. He was getting somewhat annoyed at how she got these kill all who enter the desert ideas stuck in her head, every one did that. She wasnÂ’t understanding the point, sooner or later the people outside the desert would out number the Anubi so much that all hope would be gone for reclaiming their land, not to mention the ancient enemy had arisen again and was now claiming lives. Time was pressing and Seth wasnÂ’t in the mood for showing off games. He held out his hand to his side, his grip partially open, the night seemed to twist around it and gather together and compact. The blackness of night twisted around his hand and seeped along into the air making a long and sleek sword shape that was almost invisible in the black on black surroundings. "And this is my weapon, the darkness all around us. And we all kill the people who come into the desert yet I still donÂ’t fully understand why you kill the Anubi when its their time, isnÂ’t that the guardian of deaths job. Or nature itself even." He looked at her with a mixed puzzled expression. "You do know about HathorÂ’s plans right" He asked just to make sure she was up to date with current affairs. He let the shadow sword slip of out of existence and back to into the night. He did however keep a shield of energy around his fist, like a glove of power just in case she decided to show him her weapon in use. He had know idea why the guardian of blood was so obsessed with death, in his opinion Blood had more to do with life.
She was disgusted, she had never liked any of the other gaurdians, especially Hathor, "I havn't seen that of the others, I only end those who create pain and suffering to our home, the desert." She felt like trying to attack him, but she knew gaurdians were trained well, she went through some of that training, so she held back, she knew she could get herself killed easily.
Seth sighed sadly, times were heard and not every one coped. He looked at he with mild curiosity and interest, she seemed to be deep in thought and going off a bit about random things. She hadnÂ’t answered his question about the politics but he decided to leave it, for now. "Yes well nothing is easy anymore, but we have to make do." He said some what solemnly, it was forced however, he didnÂ’t care about a poor dying people as long as it was natural. He didnÂ’t like to meddle in things that involved death and the natural time of things, yet he did play with the odd soul. He didnÂ’t care if he was hypocrite. He hated the world these days, he just wanted it to crash and burn. He looked up at the moon and its pale light. He blinked at it in annoyance as his mind forced a cloud over it, the greyness of the cloud mixing into a pale purple as the moon light hit it.
She felt that Seth didn't like the way she did things, so she figured he shouldn't care about the way she did things "<span style='color:darkred'>You know, if you don't like the way I do things, then don't care about the things I do</span>" she said, just to make sure he got the point. I Tthat wasn't what he was getting at, she was terribly terribly wrong. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>sorry I forgot about this one</td></tr></table>
Seth sighed, the years hadnÂ’t done any good for the guardians. They had got a bit weak in his view, too many were acting like children again. He new about a few more guardians acting slightly improper with each other, then again he was up to a bit of it himself. Still, he didnÂ’t like how things were going and how hardly any of them saw eye to eye. He needed to talk to the death guardian, they always got along fine. "ah well maybe we should go our separate ways, we donÂ’t seem to see eye to eye. Unless you feel like we have any other business, Hathor is calling a meeting soon anyway." He said in his standard deep voice. He randomly absorbed the rock he was sitting into a the really of nothing while he stood up. He didnÂ’t feel like any one else using his seat, while he stood up he arched his fingers. After this was over he was going to summon some minions to go south of the border. He needed to obtain a few items. However he decided on sending Jed to do it, with some distractions to make the job easier.
