The 'dragon rarely went outside, so it was a shock for quite a few to see him striding out of the main school and into the courtyard, green hair waving, whistling as he padded along in his beige shorts and shirts. He sat down on a bench, slipping his glasses up his nose, and pulled his current novel to his nose. He was only a few chapters away from the end. He was quite happy for a while, sitting, reading, enjoying the cool breeze whistling past his wolf-like ears. He let teh words of literature flash by him, relax him, flare his imagination. He was enjoying it so much, he didn't notice his glasses slipping down his nose. In fact, he only realised when the writing on the page - and everything else for that matter - became one big blur, and he heard a clunk on the ground. He gave a girly yelp, and leapt off teh bench and onto his knees on the ground. "Flip..." he muttered, scrambling around, unable to find his glasses, until they were handed to him. Muttering thanks, he pushed his glasses up his nose, and looked up to see his helper. His jaw dropped, his glasses slipped down his nose, and the inside of his ears turned red. Out of Character

That would be your entrance, Kat. xD

A black finger pushed the lenses back up the snout of the 'dragon, purple eyes meeting his hazel ones, and the small figure of the female feydragon came into focus, one hand on her hip with her head titled to one side. Flicking a strand of green-tinted hair amongst the pink-tinted, blue-tinted and purple-tinted ones, she lowered a black hand, a vast difference from her main body of white, offering it to Mich. "You want to be more careful with your glasses," Said Kokuteju in an all-knowing way, as if she was right about everything and knew every single thing about the world. Not that she did, of course. "Or they'll get broken, and then you won't be able to see, and then you might trip and fall and hurt that face of yours." Brushing down her long, dark purple skirt, decorated with silver at the hem (and with a butterfly "flying" up the skirt), the petite white feydragon observed Mich for a few moments longer. Crossing her arms, revealed due to the ice blue halter top she was wearing, Koku decided to interogate Mich as to what he was doing outside for a change, observing the blush in his ears with interest. "I almost fainted when I saw you," Said the 'dragon, smirking. "Considering I only ever see you in the library or in your dormitory."
"Heh..." Mich muttered, ears cooling down and looking at the ground in embarrassment, "It was a nice evening. And Lysane has been telling me a lot lately I need to get out more often. In fact, he always tells me to get out more often. And I need to stop talking in 'Ye Olde Englishe' as he calls it. Anyway, I took his advice and went outside." He took the hand of the feydragon. Instantly, he felt heat rising to his cheeks. He didn't know why, though - he was always quite nervous around girls, but only around Koku did his cheeks flare with the heat of a volcano. He especially didn't understand that part - he and his roommates considered the girls next door irritating girly pests. Why did he feel so... awkward around Kokuteju? He came back to reality to find himself gawping, widemouthed at Koku. The 'dragon felt his glasses begin to steam up. He quickly hauled himself up and twisted around, making sure the feydragon couldn't see his embarassed face. "So... what are you doing out here, Koku?"
"I'm enjoying the evening," Replied Kokuteju, deciding that if she were to toy with the other 'dragon, she'd do it later when he calmed down enough for her to be able to irritate him. Not that she hated him, of course. Out of the four boys that lived in the dormitory next to hers, the only ones that she could suitably cope with were Takonas and Mich, and she prefered the latter to the former. "Which is something that you should do more often. You sit and read stories of knights who rescue their fair maidens, and you look as if you'd love to do that yourself, yet you sit inside and bore away your fantasies over old books." Placing herself on the bench, the white thill continued to watch the green-haired arden, her purple eyes unreadable, as if there was something she was hiding. "Of course, you'd have to find yourself a fair maiden, first."
"Pah," Mich scoffed, glancing around before going over to the bench once again, now calming down a bit after the initial shock of seeing Koku, "As if. I seem destined to be an archaeologist, like my parents and older brother. And anyways, I like archaeology. You can find history anywhere. Like, once Lysane found an ancient sandwich under my bunk, and I managed to date it back at least fifty years. Looked more like moudly broccoli." He chuckled, before looking around at Koku again. "And also, I'm no handsome prince. I have the dorkiest glasses in the school, I couldn't get this hair to sit with 50 gallons of hair gel," he indicated his messy green hair, "and I practically live in the library. What sort of girl would like that kind of guy?"
There was a pause between the two as Kokuteju considered what had passed between them in conversation, a look of disgust crossing her face at the mention of the ancient sandwhich. "Ew," She said, before adding, "What was Lysane doing under your bunk?" The feydragon remained silent for a few minutes, during which time she crossed her legs on the bench and put her head in her hands, thinking about what Mich had said about himself. "You're not... you're not ugly, like... like..." She paused, wondering who she knew that was ugly in her own eyes, and followed up with, "Like Lysane. Ergh. Lysane. I'm not surprised he prefers men. I bet it's because all the girls are revolted by him." The white thill continued to grin to herself after her own mentioning of Lysane. It was no secret that the two didn't exactly like one another, and despite her own small size she had a habit of voicing her disapproval of Mich's roommate an awful lot, even if most of the time it was in an odd, humourous and, whilst not the most pleasant thing ever, it wasn't exactly pure hatred. Humming to herself, she continued with, "I don't mind men with glasses. In fact, they're quite cute. And I hate it when people fill their hair full of grease just to get it to stay in a position that it's eventually going to spring back to its normal self again." There was another pause, in which Koku seemed to be considering what to say, and then, "You should get out of the library more, mind you." Out of Character

xD Fish, if you ever read this, then I apologize for Koku making harsh remarks about Lys all the time. xD I just perceive them as having that type of relationship.

Mich felt kind of flattered by the "men with glasses are quite cute" comment make by Kokuteju, and felt a lump in his throat. He coughed, pushing his glasse sup his nose. He listened to everything Koku said, and nodding, agreeing with some points, and nodded his head vigourously about the comment about hair gel. After Koku's last sentence, a silence filled the air once more. Mich sat back on the bench, putting his arms behind his head and staring at the sky. He yawned, before glancing back over at Kokuteju. "I'd like to get out more often, but I just love books. Don't ask why. When I was six, I stumbled across one of my brother's books. He let me read it. The tiny writing was hard to read at that age, but I managed. It was about a kingdom, and how a young peasant helped save the kingdom and won the princess' heart. Since then, I've read so many books and gained tons of knowledge." Mich realised that he was rambling again, and shook his head, blinking, "Ugh..." he turned to Koku, blushing again, "Sorry 'bout that."
Kokuteju smiled as Mich talked about his past and as he apologized for rambling, the white thill grinning to herself as he did so. Shaking her head and raising it from where she had hidden it in her folded arms, she spoke. "If there's anything that's good for you, it's a healthy ramble," Said the feydragon, smiling at Mich. "It's nice to hear you ramble, any way. Books are nice, but I prefer singing. When we were out one day, when I was about six or seven, there was a band playing. They weren't playing anything in particular, it was just music, without lyrics. And, well, without realising it, I found myself singing." She blushed slightly, not too impressed by her own singing. "My parents want me to become a cyrokinetic like my brothers and sister. I'm okay at it, but I much prefer singing."
Mich smiled at Koku, not understanding why she was embarassed about her singing. Being next door to her, he and the boys would occasionally hear the girls chatting away, and had occasionally heard Koku singing. Personally, he thought it was lovely. He quickly shook his head, came back to reality, and smiled at her. "I didn't know you had siblings," he said.
"I have three," Replied Kokuteju, continuing to smile at Mich, a little lost as what to else to do. "An older brother, an older sister and a younger brother. They're all skilled cyrokinetics, even the younger brother." She glanced up at the sky, drifting away in her own thoughts, enjoying the quiet evening with Mich.
Mich smiled, "I have two siblings myself. Older bro, Och, and little sister, Mara. Then there's mom, dad, and the half insane grandma." He chuckled, remembering his not-quite-normal grandmother, who, although she was in her eighties, acted like a rowdy teeenager. He looked at her, "My parents would like me to be an archaologist, but they say I don't have to be one. I, myself, would rather be a fantasy novelist or somthing, but archaeology's fun. I've already told you about the sandwich, right?"
"Yes, you've told me about the sandwhich," Said Kokuteju, a smile crossing her face as she turned her head to watch Mich. "I don't think you'd be a good novelist." She paused after making this comment, an inane grin spreading across her face. "I think you'd be an excellent one." Imagining the possibilities of a crazy grandmother, Koku burst into laughter. Shaking her head as she calmed down, she continued to speak. "I don't remember my grandparents," Said the feydragon. "I've only met them once and I was only about four. I don't know if they're still alive or not, but I can't remember either of my parents being upset, so I don't think they have."
Mich chuckled, "Lucky. Grandma Zapphy LIVES with us. She's in a wheelchair, but doesn't need it half the time. But she acts like... Lysane, in a way. She's half insane. Comes with age, I guess." Mich looked over at Koku again, "I dunno about a novelist, though. And anyway, how would you know whether I'm good at writing? I sent Lysane to sleep one English class."
There was silence for a moment, before the feydragon erupted into laughter, almost falling off the bench. "Oh, that would be terrible!" Cried Koku, still laughing inanely. "Imagine having a relative like Lysane! I wouldn't be able to bear it!" Recovering from her fit of laughter, she continued, "I don't know. I just bet you would. And it's Lysane, Mich. Of course you're going to send him to sleep! Anything that involves sitting still for more then five minutes sends him to sleep!"
"Yeah," Mich sighed, "I suppose you're right. Lysane can't sit still for more than two seconds. But you know, you really shouldn't be so hard on him, Koku. He is one of my best friends, after all." He shook his head, and looked back at her, "Another thing I should do sometime. Get new friends. I only have Konas, Midet, Lys... and..." he felt the lump in his throat rise again, and his ears went red again, "I guess... you and Yoshi are on the list..."
"You know I love him really," Replied Kokuteju, giving Mich one of her crazy smiles. "It's one of those... love-hate relationships? We love to act like we hate one another." As she twirled a strand of pink-tinted hair around a black index finger, she continued to listen to Mich, smiling and blushing as he mentioned her and Yoshi being two of his possible friends. "That's... that's really sweet, Mich," Said Koku, becoming quiet for a moment. Releasing her finger from the hair, she blushed again and moved closer to him, reaching up to peck him on the cheek before sidling away from him again, hair falling over her face to conceal her blushing.
Mich had begun to stare once again at teh sky, when he felt something touch his cheek. When Koku had edged away, he blinked, and felt his cheek. He didn't know why, but he thought it was a kiss - a peck on the cheek, but it was still technically a kiss. A swooping joy filled him, his heart fluttered, and a smile crept across his face. He looked around at Koku. She was blushing. So she had pecked him on the cheek! He then held out his hand to Koku, chuckling, "Yeah, I guess I can count you two girls as friends."
The feydragon remained silent and stationary for a few moments, as if she was concerned about the reaction to the kiss, before she glanced upwards, purple eyes filling with concern. Seeing the smile on the male 'dragon's face, she smiled and took his hand in hers. "Yeah," Said Kokuteju, still smiling, "I guess you can."
