Who: Chigaru-Adom Khaldun When: Early evening [14 Tessera 81379] Where: The Watering Hole Adom took a deep breath, allowing the cool evening air to pass through his lungs before exhaling as he passed through the doors of the Watering Hole. Although he had long ago come to a similar such restaurant combinations, it was best described as seedy and never had he seen one like this. It was immaculate. His eyes passed quickly over every detail as he slowely stepped in. The first thought which swam through his mind was how terribly underdressed he must be for such a place, wearing only his grey breeches to conceal his leg and a buttoned black shirt; his idea of 'dressing up', and far from the fancy garb many in the building were decorated with. The second thought was of the bar as it stole his eye upon passing. This, he thought assuringly, is where i should go. After taking seat on one of the odd velvet cactuses he assumed to be a barstool, he awkwardly called out for the nearest bartender with a small wave of his paw and a raspy "'Scuse?". A rather scantly-dressed female pendragon, white furred and red dressed, responded quickly. "Mmmm?" She questioned him, with the same look she would have likely given a hatchling if it were to question her in the establishment. He choked, then cleared his throat, and finally looked at her with desperation. What is it I want? What are my choices? It has been far too long... As if she had heard his mind ticking, she nodded sharply, her hair falling over her face, only to be brushed bach quickly with an expert swing of the head. "I see," she replied to the silence. "I'll have that for you in a moment." She turned quickly and swaggered her way to The bar in a seemingly seductive, but likely typical, fashion. He watched, confused, as she mixed him a drink in a tall glass. It was nothing he recognised in any way, but upon tasting the green-tinted beverage, he found it to be just what he needed. Perhaps a little sharp but still smooth, with a bite of lemon. "What is this?" he questioned her. "Oh, just a little something special i like to make for all you newcomers." She smiled smugly at him and then walked off to tend to some higher paying customers. While slowely sipping on his first drink, he gazed off at all those who had come here before him, being especially careful not to catch anyones wandering eye to avoid that awkward moment of silent conversation it always led to.
Who: http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=875Siaka Mörder von Leben Wearing: Short black skirt, skimpy black tube top, leather jacket, no shoes. Carrying: a small pocket knife, barely notice able under her coat. Siaka walked into the watering hole and headed straight to the bar, ignoring the disapproving looks she was getting from the other patrons. Excuse me miss, you can't bring weapons in here A voice said. Siaka turned on her heel to face the 'dragon that had spoken. It was a worn looking arden, some new help she guessed. She narrowed her oddly shaped eyes. I'm sorry but no exceptions No Exceptions you say? She said, making sure the 'dragon got full view of her dagger like teeth. The arden gulpped. Okay maybe this once, but if you are caught with weapons here again you will be permanently thrown out He said, before skirting off in the direction of a table. Siaka sighed, it was way too easy to scare the 'dragons out here. Dismissing the whole episode she went to the bar and sat on one of the exceedingly uncomfortable stools next to a black-furred arden. Oi Mai! She called. A white furred thill came over. Evenin' Lebe, usual i guess, Damn right, and who's the new help? Valarask, needs some knocking around Siaka just nodded as she watched Mai go off to get her drink.
While finishing his drink, Adom caught sight of the strange pendragon as she entered, weapon-clad and seemingly a regular in the place. While she sat down next to him, he looked her over discreetly while she spoke to the same white thill who had served him moments earlier. She interrested him, sparking an old flame in his mind that had all but died out upon leaving the institute some 13 years in the past. The disire to learn what was forbidden in by his father, and the memmory of what he had lost because of it. He set down his now empty glass with a thump, hoping to get the idea acrossed of filling his cup without uttering any more awkward words to anyone. Behind him, his tail fidgetted nervously, back and forth like an angry snake. This was nothingnew, but with the silent pumping of hydrolic air forcing his foot to contract and relax, the claws on his steel appendage clicked against the floor as his thoughts took control of him. All a reaction he couldn't control, the result of his brain in motion and thoughts he tried to push back into his head as they scurried free. THIS. This is why i do not like to socialize. What is this? Before he had noticed his glass was gone, he found a refill in his wake and he hastily grabbed it and raised it to his lips, while keeping a steady gaze directly in front of him at nothing in particular. It took the glass visiting his lips nly once to fin itself again empty. He shook his head and breathed heavily as he had done outside, this time his senses filling with the smell of meats and alcohol. The tapping stopped, and the fidgetting slowed as he focused on that... the smell of food that upset his stomach and caused it to cry out in desire, strong enough to supress the memories and to carry everything back into the shell his head had become.
An unappitizing black drink was set infront of Siaka, which she promptly downed, only to have it replaced with what could only be assumed was vodka. Yes Siaka liked her alcohol. There was a mechanical clicking coming from her right. She turned to face the arden sitteng next to her, he had just finished his second glass of whatever Mai had given him. Now watch him stumble out of here drunk off his ass Siaka thought. It was always an amusing site to watch 'dragons leave with lamp sahdes on their heads. As she thought this the clicking had vanished and the arden's stomach had begun to rumble. Siaka realized she was staring. Hey, you new around here? She asked.
"Hey, you new around here?" He heard the question, but at first made no motion to respond. After a second, what seemed a lot longer to him, he replied in a far cooler tone then he had expected, though his voice still harsher then he'd imagined it. "You could say that..." Indeed, he was new HERE, in this particular place, but he had been a resident to Watani since he was no longer residing in the institute. Of course, he might as well have been living halfway across the world... He shrugged and continued simply, "yes."
