Timestamp: 31 Tria, 81381 Who: Alamu Wearing: White t-shirt with a jacket and light blue jeans Alamu shivered as she wandered through the snow, ears pressed tight against her head. How crazy am I? Why did I decide to do this? She shivered again and tried to see through the falling snow, looking for shelter, food, anything. Finally she collapsed on the ground, curled tight in a ball as she tried to keep warm.
Who: Nailo Wearing: Black robe with hood over most of his face and with black gloves. This robed figure looked over the horizon, but saw nothing. What am I doing here? He turned towards a daemon that was shivering in the cold. “What am I doing here again?" The daemon looked at him and said. <span style='color:gray'>“Master, we’re here in search for… the ring of Damarith!" </span>He looked at the daemon once again. He grabbed the daemon by his throat. “Don’t give me, that tone…" without hesitation he threw the daemon on the ground and continued. “Point the way, then get out of my sights you weak excuse for a daemon!" The daemon pointed towards a village not to far from him. The robed figure walked in the direction that the daemon pointed.
Alamu heard voices not too far away. She struggled up, frost covering her fur and clothes, and looked around. A dark, cloaked figure was heading toward a larger figrue...a village! She shifted into her quad form and took off running, kicking up dirt as she went, covering the first figure in snow as she ran by, still shivering. She reached the village within moments, but no one was there. The huts all looked abandoned. Where is everyone? She wondered, rubbing her paws up and down her arms to warm them. She went into the nearest hut to search for any signs of life.
He saw a glimpsed of something running by him before he lost his vision as the snow covered him. He shook off the snow and then looked towards the village. “So, we have another player." He grinned wickedly and continued towards the village.
Alamu looked through the tiny hut, searching for anything at all that might be alive. "Hello?" She called, moving into the back rooms. The hut looked like it had been lived in not too long ago. Alamu sighed and sat down, thinking everything through. ____________________________________________________________________ Who: Gyethym Wearing: Nothing BIC Gyethym watched the young Lukuo wander around, golden eyes narrowed. He slipped back out carefully, walking out into the snow. Seeing another 'dragon headed toward the village, he stopped, standing in the way. "<span style='color:gray'>How much can one mind stretch?</span>" Gyethym asked quietly. He had been charged with protecting the village. Anyone who came had to answer the riddle. <span style='color:gray'>I'll get the girl later</span>.
As he entered the village, he looked around and he spotted a little temple, huts, and a dragon in his way. I must enter the temple, most likely the ring will be in there. He grinned and looked at the dragon that was in his way. But firstÂ… IÂ’m going to have some fun.
Gyethym saw the grin and shifted, eyes narrowing to slits. <span style='color:gray'>That can't be good. </span> He stepped back, watching the other 'dragon warily. <span style='color:gray'>Run for it? No, better not</span>, he decided, and lunged forward.
He raised his right hand and this dark aura went completely over his hand. He put his right hand that had the dark aura to his left shoulder and then he waved his hand across. This dark wave went across the village towards the dragon and the hut that he was standing near. “No one lunges towards me!" He shouted with a grin on his face and insanity in his eyes.
Gyethym stopped, looking toward the village. No! He was supposed to protect it! He turned, growling, and sped across the snow, tackling the insane 'dragon before he could move. He threw all his weight against his opponent, sending him back into a boulder covered in snow. "<span style='color:gray'>No one hurts that village. I'll kill you before I let it happen.</span>" He said, breathing hard; something had happened to him, and he couldn't figure out what. ____________________________________________________________________ Alamu jumped to her feet as the building started coming down. She raced out, coughing a little; what was happening? She saw the two figures a little ways away and ran towards them, but stopped, diving into the snow to hide. She trembled wth cold and fear, but she didn't move.
Within the impact of the boulder that he was sent back into, his hood had uncovered his face. He looked at the dragon with his grinning face and insanity of his pitch black eyes. He laughed as he started to talk. “You have no idea with who you are dealing with!" He raised his right hand again but only up to his chest this time and a dark pulse wave came from it. Which send the dragon flying towards one of the sides of one of the huts, but it also caught Alamu in the blast and sent her flying toward the hut that she just jumped out of.
Gyethym hit the hut hard. He groaned, shaking his head. "<span style='color:gray'>No more playing around.</span>" He dipped his right paw in the snow, scratching at the rocks hidden beneath. When he withdrew, his clawsnwere covered in green slime-poison. He did the same thing with the other paw and then lunged, slashing at the 'dragon angrily. He managed to cut his left arm, dragging his claws down to the wrist before releasing him and jumping back. ____________________________________________________________________ Alamu cried out as she hit the hut, bringing the collapsing building down around her. A large piece of the roof fell on her, and she went limp, unconscious.
With his black blood oozing down his arm and hand, he looked towards the hut that had collapse on top of the female Lukuo then returned his gaze upon the dragon that slash him and started to laugh. The black blood suddenly turned into this black smoke, and then the whole figure turned into a puff of black smoke in front of the dragon. Near a hut, he clapped at the attempt to kill or poisoned him. “You don’t know who you’re dealing with…" He grinned toward the dragon and continued. “Let me introduce myself… I’m Nailo Jericho!" then he pointed towards the hut that had collapse on to Alamu. “If you are the goody type… then you better save her before the roof completely collapses on her." He then summoned two daemons beside him and they said to Nailo. <span style='color:gray'>“What may… we be at service, Master." </span>Nailo grinned. “I want you to keep this dragon and Lukuo busy but… let him save this little one, so attack when he’s done saving her." Nailo disappeared into a puff of black smoke again and reappeared at the temple through a puff of black smoke as well, and then he entered.
Gyethym growled. His attack didn't do anything! He dropped to all fours and ran toward the hut, slamming his way through it to the Lukuo girl. He instantly recognized her as his cousin from all those years ago. "<span style='color:gray'>Wake up. I need you tro do soemthing for me.</span>" He whispered as he shook her. She groaned a little and opened her eyes. "<span style='color:gray'>Go to the temple. Go after Nailo.</span>" He ordered. Her eyes flashed dangerously at the name and she jumped up, running quickly to the other side of the village and into the temple. Gyethym burst out of the rubble, sinking his teeth into the nearest of the two daemons. In one blinding fast move he took off its arm and jumped away, growling. "<span style='color:gray'>Time to dance.</span>" Alamu dove through the door of the temple just as the black smoke solidified into a 'dragon. Not knowing what else to do, she raised her hand, lifting Nailo into the air with telekinesis.
Nailo looked at the lukuo. “So, the little lukuo wants to play." He started to laugh. “You are talented, but you’re not strong enough to hold me with those telekinetic abilities." He soon put a dark aura over him and he broke the hold. He looked at the Lukuo, once again. “I don’t have ti…" He realized who this lukuo. “Well, well, well… but still, I don’t have time for this…" He raised his right hand towards her and did another dark pulse wave towards her, then he went through the entrance of the temple and finally reached his destination. “The ring of Damarith…" He grabbed the ring but as soon as he touched the ring his hand was in pain as steam was rising from it. He let go of the ring and was mad then he saw a log book in the corner. He went towards the book and picked up and started to read. “That foolish Daemon… he sent me to the wrong relic!"
Alamu slammed into the wall and slumped down. She spit a little blood into the snow and got up, boltiong into the entrance. I won't give up. I can't give up. She stopped a few feet away, unsure what to do. I don't fight. I can't do this. But...I have to. She picked up a couple rocks and threw them at him, using telekinesis to make their speed fast enought cut threw his body. Don't fail me now, she thought, throwing as hard as she could and pouring her power into the rocks. Gyethym finished off the two daemons quickly; they were weak and couldn't stand his poisons. He started to turn for the temple, but stopped, considering. <span style='color:gray'>She has to win her own fights.</span> He burrowed under the snow and waited for one of them to come out.
He started to walk out of the entrance but was bombarded with rocks that were piercing his skin. He continued to walking out the entrance on the temple with his left hand sizzling with smoke. He went next to Alamu and grabbed her and he whispered into her ear. “Alamu… Give my regards to Averin would you…" with a grin on his face, he handed her the ring and then disappeared in a puff of smoke and was nowhere to be seen.
Alamu flinched away from him, but he was already gone. She stared at the ring, confused. His hand had been smoking, as if this had burned him, but it didn't hurt her. Why? She tossed it from paw to paw, wondering where it had come from. Finally, she slipped it into her pocket and walked out of the temple, barely making a sound. I have to see Averin, she looked around and noticed white fur sticking up out of the snow. "Hey! Why'd you send me after him if you're such a good fighter?" She kicked snow over the 'dragon and bolted, racing away to try and figure out this mess. Gyethym watched her go. "<span style='color:gray'>You'll learn soon enough, Alamu. Until we meet again.</span>" He ran in the opposite direction. As soon as he left the boundaries, the village went up in flame. The elders had been right; making another village was the best protection for the ring of Damarith. He was off to find a new location for the next trap; soon, though, Nailo would find the ring.
