TImestamp: Tria 35, 81379 Character: Malak Wearing: Black athletic shorts that reach down to her knees, an oversized black Janarden Academy Sweatshirt, black fulffy slippers with white skull and cross bones pattern Malak looked disdainfully up at the rafters in the dorm. She pushed a strand of dyed black hair from her face, as to see her room mate properly. "C'mon Valeska! We have havoc to wreak! I even invited Leah, course she probably had a nightmare so someone needs to get her," She said. She heard a grunt and shook her head. She was beginning to forget why she let Valeska be her room mate.
Character: Valeska Kain (Duh!) Wearing: Clothes! Duh! (To be more specific: Black pjs with orange and purple flowers all over them) Valeska grunted in her sleep, then she rolled over, with is kind of hard to do when you're hanging upside down from a ceiling rafter. She fell out of the ceiling, and landed with a thud onto her bed. This woke her up. "Owww..." she complained
Malak rolled her eyes. For some reason Valeska started sleeping in her bed and then managed to get up to the rafters and then fall the seventeen foot drop back onto her bed every morning. You'd think she'd learn, but no that was not Valeska's style. "Shit Valeska! Why can't you be normal, for one goddam minute? and get your lovely other wing out from the inside of your matress the last thing we need is for the feathers in your to float over into the barrel of tar next to my side of the room!" Malak yelled
"First of all, my wing, does NOT have feathers" shouted Valeska, as she pulled a metal, skeletal-looking wing out from under her bed. She attatched it to her back. "And second, Why the hell do you keep a barrel of tar in our room?"
Malak just continued to stare at Valeska's Robotic wing. "Oh, ick! Valeska, what do you keep in that matress?!" She said thoroughly disgusted as she walked over to Valeska and pulled what seemed to be a small rodent that was speared to one of the points at the end of her wing. she took it and held it and arms length away from her cursing all the way as she dropped it into the barrel of tar that was now beginning to bubble a bit, over the flame elemental that Valon had been kind enough to summon for her. "That tar is here so I can get petrify those sekeltons and half-dead creatures I find on your side of the dorm and then once I'm done I'll roll it to Hali's dorm and she'll have a nice little surprise," A wry grin slowly spread across Malak's face.
"Hey!" said Valeska, she was clearly insulted "You've got plenty of dead thingys in your bed too!" Valeska stood still for a moment. "Ummm...Malak?" she said "You might want to stop, drop and roll"
"I do not, I repeat NOT have anything dead on my side of the dorm!" She spat, and then Valeska's last comment registered. she turned so see that her ankle had caught fire...right over the design she had let Valon draw. A heart with hers and Valon's initials in it. "Shit," She said putting her tail flame over it and using the non-magical flames to feed her tail flame and dissapear. She looked more closely at the drawing. Then touched it, it had the feeling of a newly aquired tattoo. "Shit," She said again. Though she had to admit, Valon's art was extremely well done. She began to walk towards the door muttering darkly as she went.
"Where do you think I'm going?" I'm getting Leah. "Like I said before she probably had a nightmare, the poor thing,"she said rounding a corner, disappearing into the shadows that remained of the night.
Valeska looked at her non-existant watch. "I still have a few hours before I need to be awake" she said to herself, as she pulled a black coat over her pajamas and left the room.
Malak stood, tapping her foot impaciently. The darkness of the corridors provided some cover...If only her eyes would stop glowing. She was thankful that there was a black flame at the end of her tail and not a white one like her mother's. She saw Valeska coming, her hair still possesing a red tint in the darkness. "You took long enough," She said.
"Oh look" said Valeska in a sickeningly cheerful voice "A small ring of fire seems to have sprung up around you, however will you escape?"
"Cut the pyro crap!" Malak hissed. She ran her tail through the flames, careful that she didn't burn herselfto severly. "C'mon if we're gonna make it to Leah's dorm before all the normal 'dragons get up we need to hurry," Malak said, moving further into the shadows of the large school. Her Tail flame a bit grey as it swished behind her.
"Oh what's so bad about Leah?" Malak sighed. She knew full well that Leehara's appearence was a bit disturbing, but once you got past that she was loyal and kind. Malak grabbed Valeska's wrist and prictically dragged her to leah's dorm. She knocked on the door oblivious to Valeska's protests.
"Its not Leah, its just- wait, why am I following you? You don't nead me to make sure she's alright..." Valeska said
"Oh yes I do," growled Malak. She shifted the shape of one of her fingers to fit the lock of Leah's dorm. She twisted it making a small grunt, pulled it out and then opened the door. She shifted her finger back and stepped into the dark dorm. Her eyes swept the scene, she saw some of the candles had gone out and there were yellowed scrolls everywhere. She heard a high-pitched murmering and swiveled her ears towards the sound. she picked her way through the messy space to the farthest corner. Sure enough she saw a cloud that was darker than the rest of the room and the telltale lines of white. She reached out and touched Leah's arm. She screamed. It was a dreadful noise. "Close the door!" Malak hissed. She turned back to Leah. "Leah look at me, it's Malak," Leah turned her head away. This is going nowhere," she grumbled as she changed her voice, "Lee it's me Naless, c'mon just do what the girl asks, she'll help you!" said Malak as she took on the voice of Leah's childhood friend. It was a cruel trick, but she hated to see Leah like this. "Am...Am I still dreaming?" Leah asked, fear was showing in her aura. "No, Val and I came to help, you'll be fine now," Malak replied, hugging Leah. She shot Valeska a warining look, {This is why I need your help} She thought to Valeska
Malak girpped Leehara by the shoulders and pulled her upright. "Now then, Leah you remember Valeska right?" She asked. Leah gave a small nod, "She's the one that was really scared of me," She said, still sounding as though she was a child. Malak nodded. "Yeah her. Anyhow she's over there." Malak pointed to the corner where Valeska was sitting. Leah yelled. "No! Get up! You're sitting on my scriptures!" She said making her way across the dorm.
