Her hair a mess of tangles, and her rags for clothing were barely staying on. She fell from either sides of the hall, holding herself up with what little energy she had left. Her breathing was hoarse, each breath giving her a pain in her sides. Her arm went to hold her ribs, sheer exhaustion holding her from screaming. Thankfully her dorm wasn’t much further. Each step was a milestone, her door seeming farther and farther away. She began to think about why she was there, why she was so distraught. Nothing was making sense, no connections were being made. 'Why am I here..' A flash of came before her eyes and a familiar but painful face came into view. She felt like her heart stopped, like a dog frozen in fear. Her mind began to race, everything was turning into a whirlwind of confusion and a constant pressure was pounding her head. Her eyes opened in shock as her chest seemed to cave in and no breath came to her lungs. Her body lurched forwards and she collapsed in front of her dorm. She lay sprawled on the hard flooring, not a single muscle moved, not even a twitch. </span></span> <br ></div></td></tr></table><center>
Cassandra had received a day off from work. Somewhat unusual to have an unscheduled holiday like this. Why should she complain though? Looking for something to do after her daily exercise routine and review of magics, Cassandra had decided to re-visit some of the places she had spent her childhood. Somewhat depressing. Bitter-sweet would be a better adjective. Regardless, it had wasted away the day, and she had nothing better to do than waste away the day and wait for tommorow's work. Cassandra, having just entered into the dormitories section of the building in the Janardan campus, walked into an elevator, and pushed a button to go to her old dorm. "An eventless day..." Cassandra's voice drifted. Whether it was a glitch in the programming, or some greater power at work, the elevator stopped short of its programmed destination and instead opened to the floor at which Chiara had collapsed. Chiara lay sprawled in plain sight, but Cassandra did not immediately see her. Cassandra considered trying again, but realized how pointless that would be since she merely wanted to go to a random floor. This floor the elevator had stopped on was as random as any other floor. "Machinery..." muttered Cassandra to herself as she walked out of the elevator and seconds after, spotted Chiara lying on the floor. Cassandra did not cry out, but did run swiftly over to Chiara. Cassandra first nudged Chiara with her foot. When the thill did not budge, Cassandra rolled her onto her back. "What happened here?..." pondered Cassandra. She had no real medical training, but did a few simple checks for breathing and a pulse rate as any educated dragon might do to another mysteriously fallen dragon. Cassandra looked around and saw no one else in the hallway. She pulled out her cellular phone and decided to call officials. However, she had already decided that she would have to dissapear after doing so. There was no telling if any official who arrived would recognize her and possibly try to arrest her. She started dialing numbers.
Eda didn't have much to do today. She had just spent a while doing some minor excercise, a little jogging outside, just like her and her closest and only friend from back home used to do. It was nice to pick up some of the pieces of her previous life and incoperate it into her current, and possibly better one. On this particular day she had been crossing back and forth as she decended to her room, and it was on this particular path that she came upon the current situation. One dragon sort of hunched over another that seemed to be out cold. Nearing the spot the power blue khell frowned slightly tilting her head to one side and craining her neck a little, which for her didn't really do much since she was so short. Eda cleared her throat and addressed them, "You two need some help?" she said trying not to sound too skeptical, after all it could have been just about anything that caused this and with so many students and teachers about it was likely that these two didn't even know each other... then again it could just as easily be the exact opposite.
