warm chocolate-’n-marshmallow body stretched gingerly in the auburn sunshine. a yawn issued forth from sculpted snout as okkie turned over, the bladed tips of her pelage licked by fire. ivory wings flared momentarily under the glare, and then folded neatly against tawny flanks. her supple quadruped body was spread-eagle over a sheet of shale, and her plushie tail wiggled lightly as pointed ears flicked backwards. the sun glowed hotly from the sky, its thin rays brushing the femme-pendragon and warming the stone upon which she reposed. it was easy to see that okkie was basking in the sun, lolling around lazily on this slow day in dyo. as she licked her dry lips and smiled, the female congratulated herself for choosing this spot here on northern-most rim of boreios sudesha’s coastal range. it was the perfect locale for sun-bathing.

mm... this sun feels so good.

  2. Coming in off a boat from one of the other coast, he step forth up on the deck and looked out over the erie green waters. Smiled a bit at the idea that he was finally away from the other island made him glad. Fe'shi flicked back his white tipped ears as he listened to the sound of the waves and sea birds over head. He rose his nose into the air and took in a scent of the sea but picked up another scent besides the water, the scent of a femme dragon. He gazed over the approaching beach and noticed a brown dot on the shore. He grins heavily as he lies his gaze upon it. As the ship came closer to the coast Fe'shi rose up on the hand rail to see better. I hope it is a female, haven't seen one for almost 2 months, being out on this forsaken water. As the came close to the shore before reaching port Fee'shi dove off the deck into the water then swim over to the beach. Came up out of the water and shook off the water. He looked up from the warm sands of the beach and laid eyes on the sexiest dragon that he has seen in a good long time. Fe'shi nodded slowly and made his way over towards the dragon slowly making barely any sound on the sand as he approached her.

Thin, scarce louds scudded by against the forget-me-not blue backdrop, and Okkie continued to lounge about under the radiant rays of sunshine. She re-adjusted herself several times on her lukewarm bed of stone, until, finally, she came to a rest upon her back. The pendragon’s glistening white wings were tucked behind her like a cushion, and her muzzle pointed rebelliously at the sovereign of the heavens.

She would have lapsed into a contented slumber, but, instead, Okkie jerked and lifted her cranium. Had she heard soft paw-falls? The sound of light breathing? Her mocha-tinctured head whipped around, and fell delicately upon what looked like a beached but handsomely-figured male.

“Who are you?” the white-streaked femme inquired, her voice a bit waspish. Her rest and relaxation had been interrupted, after all. “Can’t you see that Lady Okkie wishes to be left alone to bask in the illumination of the sun?”

This last query was uttered with a coy grin, and it was very apparent that her snotty tone and demeanor was only a playful farce. Okkie rolled over so that her belly was slung against the boiling shale, and her bright cobalt eyes stared unblinkingly at the stranger.

  4. He stopped dead in his tracks with is forepaw up in the air as if he was going to take another step then he turned his gaze away from her cobalt eyes. A slight tremor creeped up his spine as he waited to speak forth his name. What is wrong with you Wong? She asked you a simple question, why don't you answer her? It is really easy to do, just say my name is and go from there! Shaked his head after the conflict within his mind them looked back at the beautiful dragon with his moonlight like eyes. "I'm...Wong, Fe'shi Wong." His voice tremble a bit as he spoke those few words to her then he dropped his head from her gaze once more and sighed. Why are you have such a had time with this girl? Because she is the most beautiful thing that I lied eyes on. But that was a poor introduction, don't you think? Shutup! What the hell do you know about introductions?

Your replies make me laugh. =D Fe’shi is too cute! *Pinches his cheeks*

    In Character...

A pregnant moment of silence fell upon the pair of strangers, and one of Okkie’s sateen ears pinned backwards. She was not a bashful creature, but as the pause lengthened considerably, she felt a bit awkward. The unfamiliar male seemed unable to hold her gaze; perhaps he was too shy to answer her inquiry? She had no idea that this appealing he-pendragon found her as attractive as she found him, and if she knew, she would have blushed with embarrassed pleasure. Fact was — she didn’t know this, and so she found her feet and decided to prowl towards the stranger, in hopes of prodding an answer from him.

As Okkie’s cat-like walk carried her towards him, slinky tail of creamy coffee colors swept about, the very tip airily teasing the male’s nose as she gradually passed by. The female pendragon slunk around him once... twice, and nudged his flank with her own, communicating hospitality. She then padded out in front of him, and fell back upon sleek haunches, sitting much like a pompous queen would.

“Fe’shi?” silvery voice asked, when he finally muttered his moniker. She smiled flirtatiously at him, her tail doing a little flip-flop along with her heart. “I like that name, it’s almost as cute as you are, aii. Almost.

Okkie grinned. Wickedly.

  6. Fe'shi rose his eyes up from the sand slowly and looked at Okkie. He grins at her then tapped her gently on the chin with his nose then draws back from her with his ears folded back. He felt something as he gazed back into her eyes again, as if he was falling for a femme dragon that he just met. The remarks that she made about his name made him feel special in a way that he can't explain. Fe'shi wanted to ask her about her name but the words wouldn't come forth from his lips. Why can't I speak to her? Maybe because you are a coward when it comes to the ladies, Wong! Oh to hell with you! I'm not afraid of females! I don't fear them! Then why don't you ask her name? He continues to look into Okkie's eyes then the words came out easily. "What is your name...my lady dragon?" He lifted one of his ears up and smiles a bit at her.

The gentle nuzzle against her chin made Okkie grin widely, and her tongue flicked out to grace the male’s nose just before he withdrew from his gesture. She waited to see if he would blush furiously, or maybe stammer, or perhaps if he would simply keel over with merriment. Instead, the young female was greeted with a bashful but gracious smile. Her heart sang for reasons she could not pinpoint, and her eyes shone with a merry light in the color of cornflowers.

“My name is Okkie,” the female responded in a silvery voice as the stranger he-pendragon inquired of her moniker. “And it has been a pleasure to meet you acquaintance, Lord Fe’shi.”

    There came a short pause.

    “Watcha doin’ here, anyway?”

  8. He fluffed a bit do to the fact that Okkie tipped his nose with her tongue ever so gently. He sniffed loudly and tilted his head a bit, continuing the gaze into her lovely eyes. Grinned to the sound of her soft voice then wagged his tail slightly. "Well, I'm honored...", he bowwed his head to her and looked back up to her once more; "to meet such a fine looking young dragon." Fe'shi rose up from his hide legs and walked over past Okkie, gently grazing along side her face with his snout then down along her side as he walked on past her slowly. Now you are so confortable around her? What a change in mood Wong. Hey! Why don't you go and stick a claw in your eye, I'm busy here you damn dirty tick! (not tick as in bug, but as in pest or bothersome ass! [IMG] ) Fe'shi moved over to where one of the rocks on the beach supported shade then dropped down beneath it to cool himself. He looked back at Okkie and winked at her.

Okkie purred deeply as the male stood, as his velveteen snout laced about her cheekbone and ’round her chocolate ear. Her complexion tingled at his flirtatious touch, and a rouge blush rose furiously beneath cinnamon fur. Luckily, he was already brushing her withers, his curves jostling against her own, and the femme’s burning face was out of his visual range. The blushing had faded by the time Fe’shi had moved past, and ’Kie was finally able to turn her sculpted visage towards him, to watch his handsome, masculine body flop down beneath a shady rock not too far from her earlier roost. Russet tail flicked, and then the female padded after him, all smiles and bright eyes.

“It is also nice to meet you,” she piped as she stretched her slim body out next to Fe’shi’s. “I have not met many new faces lately, and it’s refreshing to be greeted with a smile that is new and intriguing.”

The femme-’dragon curled her bladed, bottlebrush tail close to her hind paws, and it was remarkable how very beautiful she looked there in the patch of shade. Her frame was wolfish, but with angles and curves that were definitely feline. And her wings introduced raptor-like features in the pendragon’s make-up; they were wide and snowy like an owl’s or a dove’s, but also sleek and sharp like an osprey’s. She was a magnificent specimen of her species, and as she sniffed the maritime winds with her tapered, coyote-like muzzle, there was a divine ferocity shining in those jewel-like oculars, rippling in those toned and powerful muscles.

“Did you sail?” Okkie asked, after a slight pause. Her face turned from the winds towards her newfound friend, and she smiled.

  10. Fe'shi looked back at her posture and grinned softly as she lied down against him beneath the confort of the rock. He nodded to her question of sailing. "Yes, I have came from islands long ways from these places. There the waters are always calm, the skies are always clear and go on for miles out, lovely flowers grow throughout the whole island chain, but this place that I have step paw upon is nothing compared to it. Seems to be entirely the oppsite." He looks back out at the sea for a short moment as the tide rose and dropped back into the depths. Fe'shi turns his attention back to his new found friend then looked back into her eyes once more, feeling peace and kindness coming from her. "If you was to come to the islands...they would treat you as if you was a Goddess. For a female on those islands, nothing would be asked of you. At the most we could ask of them was to bare cubs for the next generation." Fe'shi runs his snout up against the side of Okkie's face, caressing her cheek softly then drawing back just as he did before. I hate to think that if I was to return to the islands, I could never see her again. That would destory me...He shook the idea from his mind then closed his eyes slightly as the wind blew. Fe'shi as he closed his eyes showed a light red coloured scar over his right eye, that looked as if it happened ages ago but still burned with a pain.

  11. In Character
Cocoa ear pricked forward as Okkie listened to Fe'shi's dialogue. He described lands of bounty and beauty. He spoke of a proverbial Utopia -- and of an isle where females were treated as divine beings. Okkie found each and every one of his words to be quite intriguing. He'd seen a lot. Flowers blooming as rapidly as the wind blew. Clear skies that stretched until forever. Not to mention a vast breadth of water that was tepid and mild. The female pendragon found herself delving in and out of daydreams... these places sounded so wonderful. 'Kie had only visited Swaraj and this small coastal rim of shale on Sudesh. But Fe'shi... he'd been to places that her sharp mind could only imagine.

She was only pulled from her reveries when his snout touched hers again. Okkie blinked and returned the nuzzle to the near-stranger. She then put her chin on her paws as he rested his head. Questions swam around her mind's eye but she dared only say:

"You look tired, my Lord. And you have a scar over your eye. Though you describe wonderful lands from afar, there must be places out there that host hostility?"

  12. He shakes his head slowly and licks his lips a bit then opens his eyes slightly. Grins and speaks softly. "If there was...I haven't encountered it when I was there." Lifts his head and yawns then lies his head down beside hers. "Why do you ask such a question, Okkie?"

  13. Blue eyes blinked at the male as he denied ever meeting creatures of hostility. She wanted to believe what he said was true... but how had he gotten that scar? She wondered if it was self-inflicted. This idea made her shudder violently.

"I see the scar on your eye... and I thought that a less-than-friendly beast may have given it to you."'

Okkie shrugged. If he did not want to elaborate... well that was fine with her. She shuffled her wings and offered a small smile. They were new to each other... and she did not expect him to tell her everything.

  14. Fe'shi sighed a bit then looked at her once more. Shaked his head and turned his head away from her so that his right eye wasn't visiable to her. Fe'shi spoke slowly about what happened there over his eye but didn't look back to her do to the fact that it made him feel a little shame. "I...recieved this scar over my right eye...the day that I had to defend my mother and sister's lives from the very one that I called father." Fe'shi lies his head down and licked his lips as he relaxes. "I call it my burden...for attacking and harming him. Almost to the point of death." Draws his forepaw along the ground slowly scratching into the soft sand.

  15. His soft words seemed to be full of sorrow and shame. His story poured out and Okkie could not stifle the small grunt of mingling horror and sympathy that crept right up her throat and leapt from her tongue. He'd had to fight his sire... for the sake of his dam and his sibling. The atrocity of this tale made the female pendragon shudder again. Her mellow eyes searched Fe'shi's -- or tried to. He'd turned away. But this did not stop Okkie from craning her neck out to nose his neck. Nor did it stem the purling growl of comfort which flowed from her maw.

"That is a terrible story... I am very sorry you had to experience that." She paused... searching for words. She knew that those in distress often became quite moody or withdrawn -- and she didn't want to tick this handsome but sorrowful male off. "I am sure you did the most honorable thing... you stood up for those who could not stand up for themselves. Even if it was hard... you are a very noble pendragon."

Okkie abruptly withdrew her cranium and turned away. Thin clouds had scudded in front of the sun and her auburn fur was thrown into shadows... her fur now seemed to be a milky chocolate hue. Her wings were etched in silver lining... but there was nothing silvery to her thoughts. Fe'shi shared -- without knowing it -- a sort of bond with this stricken female. She had lost her family to elements unknown... they both had suffered lose. She sniffled quietly as she brooded. Then Okkie heaved a great sigh and turned her muzzle back towards the crestfallen Fe'shi.

    "You were very, very brave."

  16. He turns his attention back to her slowly as she pressed her nose against the side of his neck to confort him. Fe'shi smirked slightly at the fact that she was trying to make him feel a bit better about the action that he took against his father in the past. He leans his head over slowly and licks her cheek softly then lays his head against the ground slowly looking up into her eyes once more. "I thank you for being...kind to me." Nudges her softly withhis nose and folds his ears back as he relaxes against the ground.

  17. Silt sifted and weaved beneath the femme as she shifted her weight. She curled her forelegs beneath her trim chest and curled her tail tightly against sound haunches. Her hind paws were folded neatly and primly beneath her -- Okkie looked much like a wolfish sphinx. But her head soon lost its erect stature... she stretched out so that her neck lay on the sands next to Fe'shi. Her cheek fur brushed his own and she smiled as his ears swept back.

"You and I are strangers. But I rarely feel so comfortable around anybody... it is almost like you are a kindred spirit. You have been just as kind to me as I have been to you."

Toothy smile snaked across her lips... but it faded softly after a moment. Okkie's wings rippled as she remembered that she was only here on holiday. She'd have to go home... and Fe'shi would doubtlessly return to his scouring of faraway isles. Her heart panged painfully... Why? Okkie asked herself. She wasn't in love with this male... but she would miss him all the same when that inevitabe moment of departure fell upon them.

  18. Fe'shi felt as if something was bothering his female companion but turns away reasoning for asking. He takes a deep breath through his snout and lets it out slowly as he lies there, moving very small grans of sand along the ground as he does it. At the touch of her soft cheek against his own, he smiles and relaxes even more so then before.

Fe'shi lifts his ears up at the sound of a fog horn then opens his eyes slightly. Rises his head up so not to distrub Okkie as she continued to rest. He noticed that the ship he arrived on was drifting back out from the dock then the ship's captain coming up on deck waving off to Fe'shi. Fe'shi returned the wave with a nod then he grinned. Wong, so you have decided to remain behide with her after all? Yeah that's right. She seems to have a connection to me as I do to her, so I just can't leave her like that. Well, that is very noble of you, Wong. Returns his gaze down upon the sleeping beauty then lies his head down across the back of her neck softly, grinning to himself.

  19. One ear flicked as the foghorn sounded... Okkie did not lift her head. She knew it was Fe'shi's boat -- her bodice tensed as she waited for his warmth to leave her side. His neck descended over her own instead and the female blinked heavily. He'd forfeited his rank on the boat to stay behind with her... 'Kie almost giggled at the insanity of it all. But she pursed her lips and uttered a drawling growl that sounded more like a cougar's purr.

"You are staying behind? But... why?"

She gingerly slipped her head from beneath Fe'shi's. Her deep blue orbs penetrated his own glimmering eyes and she felt a thrilling connection leap between them. Her grin was large as she flopped her tail to and fro. Suddenly she was not interested in peace and quiet and rest. She wanted to bound about. Hunt. Frolic.

  20. He looks to her as he gazed into her blue orbs then laughed slightly at her reaction that he was remaining behide with her. Fe'shi rose up to his feet slowly and leaned his head down away from her sight then took in a deep breath of relief. "I just could leave behide...my kindred spirit. It would have sadden me beyond imagement." Looks back up at her and turns his head to the side as if trying to figure out something. "I mean you are special to me, you know?" Grinned at his own remark and licked his lips slightly.

    ooc: this post really bites... -_-;
