<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>This is a description of HorusÂ’ temple. Remember this is just strictly a description. xD</td></tr></table> The temple is in such a location that it could only be seen if one was to be dropping off the face of the Ramath-lehi. ItÂ’s peak is blessed with a large dark structure of a Aktrieor sets a top of it. The statue was once the color of gold but after all the sand and time, it was reduced to a black evil looking thing. There is a massive set of gates that hale to the West of the pyramid that mark the point of entry. But from the size and weight of the doors it was clear that it must have took at least 30 even 40 strong Anubians to work at tugging and pulling the doors. Then that of two others to work the system of clockwork that acted as a helping hands to the ones that worked the doors. Several blocks of metal and sandstone went into the architecture of the pyramid making it one of the most extensive structures throughout the Uhai Desert. Several air and water ducts have been created during the construction offering several inhabitants, who lived and protected the temple, the necessary needs to survive without much travel to the outside. The upper floors of the temple were riddled with markers of history depicting epic battles and long ruled pharaohs. At the end of several of these great halls were sources of water that flowed in from the outside and created fountains. Others led to places that farming was being done, growing supplies of food for the Anubians that lived there. But now those areas that was once full of growth and life was nothing but dried up, empty reminders. The halls still held their glorious markers, but very little light gave viewers a limited amount of viewing pleasure. The inside of the main hall of the time seemed to be the only part that was still bright and untouched by time. The statues of golden Aktrieors stood untouched and the walls the same. A sight that was worth seeing. But sadly that was thousands upon thousands of years ago and the temple stood now as a reminder that there was once a glorious race that existed. The temple was now home to darkness...
In a giant whirl of sand two figures appeared outside the temple, One was was wearing a black velvet cloak, the other was Umeoral Paush in full high priest garb. the cloaked figure wispered something and then entered the temple while Umeoral waited outside. She removed her hood once she was inside, the tan dragon looked around with eyes like turqoise stone. <span style='color:purple'>I know your here Horus...No need to hide...</span>
<span style='color:gold'>A deep sigh and the sound of flapping wings echoed throughout the hall that she was passing through. Several large Aktrieors screeched aloud, gazing down onto Hathor with sorts of glares. The sigh came once more and torches lite up causing them to act as a guide towards a set of grand stairs. The Aktrieors continued to watch Hathor as she continued on her way through the hall. "Perhaps...it was you that was hidding." A voice echoed through the hall as the torches continued on the way up the stairs before emptying off into a large basin that exploded into a tower of fire, lighting up a grand room at the top of the stairs. Several Aktrieors took flight as the massive flame rose. Two large statues of the same birds stood erected on pedsetals (spell check). They have losted their golden color over the years and was nothing more than darker forms of themselves.</span>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>ACK! Darker color please...It burns me poor vampiric eyes XD</td></tr></table> Hathor smirked, of course she was hiding, her temple is hidden after all. She shed her cloak and contiuned walking thru the hall. She smirked at the birds, she didn't care for birds...they seemed weak compared to the power of Cucu. Four sets of claws always did beat 2. <span style='color:purple'>"Tisk, you seem have to have forgotten to renew your anti-aging spells on your temple...Your statues seem to have faded to well past their formar glory"</span> She smiled and waited for a response to her smart assed comment.
Horus himself set at the top of the stairs gazing off into the direction of the great hall. To him...this temple was nothing more than just a dead reminder of what happened all those years ago. His temple has been defied and everything between that time by the Pendragons from about the world. For the condition that his temple was in, no people of his race remained to help and try to restore it. Horus shook his head and lowered his eyes at the sound of her voice wincing a bit. "Did you come here to mock me Hathor? After all you come into my temple unannounced and without a proper escort. And don't even bring that accursed priest into my pressence unless you are willing to lose him." Horus lifted himself up from his still untouched throne and moved over towards a smaller Aktrieor perching on a stand. He reached his hand out and grazed it back along the beast's head and neck before taking his head back and looking over towards the stairs, waiting on to see that old face of his past.
<span style='color:purple'>Lose him? Pah! You don't even have the power to harm him! I'm here to do more then mock you, just for your information the Council will be meeting in a few weeks, and your presence is requested as it will require the presence of all the Guardians. Unless you prefer your status to be removed that is.</span> She said cooly with a sly smile on her face. This would be entertaining...Not as much fun as Seth though, he was more how should we put it? Big headed. Seth didn't quite understand his place, Horus did. Which is why it was so much fun to mess with the poor soul.
Horus moved over towards her and came right up on her. He glared down upon her and shook his head lightly. She hasn't changed at all. She was the same spoiled brat...and never will change. He turned his eyes away from her and sighed before heading off and casting out his arm causing all the Aktrieors to take off out of his temple except for the single one that was still on the perch. "Don't think that he...or even you are indestructable...Hathor." Horus turned his eyes back towards her for a short moment then moved on by her stepping down onto one of the steps of the temple. Causing it to back track in time, causing everything to light up once more and restore. The statues regained their texture and color. It was like the temple was never touched. Massive roaring flames blasted up from pits about the place. "You haven't spoken to me forever and now...you come and ask of me to come to a council for something that doesn't matter anymore? You're more of a fool than I remember Hathor." Despite how he spoke to her...she was to proud to care. Even if he did still have feelings for her it meant nothing. He released a sigh and lowered his eyes onto the stairs as they became a new and restore as if just built. "Why call the Guardians together anyways?"
<span style='color:purple'>The tides have turned to our favor, A reblious air is resounding. We have the chance to increase our power as the council. Recent events have made it aparrent that change is upon the horizion for the Other Dragons. New powers are emerging, and we have our chance to get a large piece of it...expand the territory, and perhaps, help change the future. I have under my protection one Kakosakas Shriker, and if Nekhalla plays her cards right, her little friend Stormwing too. Of course the Anubi will need a political leader, which would need to be someone of power. Meaning a High Priest, and only the most powerful one, which is ,oh my, mine.</span> She laughed a bit at her own joke then smiled and added <span style='color:purple'>But of course little Seth will most likely want to try to oppose me, and his little double-souled twirp will try Paush in battle when he could barely handle Kashiko. So I just wanted everyone there to watch Seth's embarressment, he is quite funny when he gets mad. Oh and to discuss new plans for handling outsiders due to our new...stance...</span> She smiled deviously at the word "Stance." She pushed her hair out of her face. <span style='color:purple'>You know...you should really get out more...The outsiders are so much fun to mess with...</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Yes she has Hair now! It's cleopatra cut...lol</td></tr></table>
Horus came to a stop on the stairs and looked over his shoulder towards her once more. He gave her a light glare then turned his eyes away againscaling the stairs once more. He came to a stop along side and looked over, staring down onto her. "I have seen the outside world first hand...it is nothing like the years before. I will remain here in the temple for as long as my assistance is required." Horus reached his hand up and grazed it along Hathor's cheek then draws back moving off into the direction of his throne again. He wasn't anything like the old out-going Horus was centuries ago. He was just a formal kind of emotionless shell. Horus came and set himself upon the throne and looked back out at Hathor. His eyes drifted over towards an empty spot gazing upon it. "My offer still stands...a place by my side...joining of the two temples." He laughed a bit at the thought and laid his ears back against his head. "Who am I kidding."
<span style='color:purple'>You forget who I am, maybe a long time ago, times have changed...power has shifted in my favor. I now am considered the most powerful, and deadly of all of us. Though it is the wish of the others for you to join us as you are technically still considered one of the more powerful, though if you do not show your initiative to stay on the council you may find yourself off of it and I can't help that, I truly would be saddened if you were to have to leave us.</span> She stated this in a completely serious tone, her heart still did love him, deep down. That was another reason for killing Amunet's high priest, she thought she had an little fling with Horus, though her suspicions proved to be false. None the less that was in the past now
<span style='color:gold'>Horus lifted his eyes up and looked upon her before giving a nod. He lifts himself up from his throne and extends his hand out to her. "I will remain on the council. I will not allow anyone to oppose my standing as the Guardian of Light. You have my allience still Hathor." He lowered his hand away knowing that it wasn't wise to really shake hands anymore. Since it being a thing of the new and ideas of the past is what most of council would lean towards. He reached his hands behind his back and crossed them over before lifting his eyes back to hers. "So other than coming here to invite me to the coucil...what else is there you need of me. I mean there isn't much use for a Guardian of Light these days except to have a voice." He turned his eyes away from her once more and folded his ears back against his head. He temple was in dire need of attention...but what was there to really offer with the help of Aktrieors under his power? Hell they didn't act any other way except like the predators they are.</span>
<span style='color:purple'>I need you to do me a favor, your creatures are most likely the best for it. You know after I...got rid of...Amunet's High Priestess, she swore she'd kill me unless I got her a replacement. I found her replacement, but I can't keep my eyes on her all the time, I have enough things as is. Paush will soon be too busy to do it either. Her name is Nekhalla Vlunn, yes I know she's a halfbreed, but I know she's the one and Paush agrees. He's been training her and making sure she's in the right classes at the infidel's school. Time will soon come when she comes to discover her own power. When that day comes, I need her here to pass her final test. Then she will acsend to Priestdom and then be transfered to Amunet. And no, before you ask Kashiko is not an option, she has her own apprentice to worry about and she's a lookout for the Shriker child.</span> She smiled sweetly, she really did need this done. If something happened to Nekhalla, her own life was in danger. Amunet was the only one who had any chance of ever defeating her. She need Nekhalla alive, and not undead or a were. Nekhalla had been getting a bit reckless lately and that was dangerous to everyone.
Horus sighed softly and looked upon Hathor for a long while before offering a nod to her. "Very well, but I doubt that I could get my friends to go and hunt for a girl that is no importance to this temple. But nevertheless...I will do my best in tracking her down and watching over her like an Aktrieor and make sure that no harm befall her. I will even stop that psycho of a Anubi, Kyofu from even getting with a few feet of her." He sighs softly and turns his eyes back towards Hathor looking over her features for one last time, since after this he will see little of her anymore. His eyes drifted away from her again and he moved off into the direction of his throne once more. He slipped his tongue along his lips and came to a stop again before speaking. "Another warning for you and all of the other Guardians, Hathor. The Anicent Enemy has arisen again. Already...15 Anubi have fallen victim to it's wrath. I thought that you might want to know that before hand so that you could strength the defenses of your temple."
<span style='color:purple'>It is okay if Kyofu is with her...Just keep those bastard Lost members and such away from her. Kyofu has a few tricks that my help her I do belive. It is of great importance that nothing should happen to her...Amunet's wrath could reak havoc...and that is detrimental to all of us.</span> She paused for a minute to listen to the next part of his speech. <span style='color:purple'>Again they have come?! What is it they wish to gain?! There is nothing from us that they need, I thought we had put them down for good. I dought heavily the Council has realized this yet. You should come and speak of this to them, I do not know as much as you about this as you, and you are the most respected on the subject. I will go ahead and add extra protection on my temple. Thank you for the warning.</span> She nervously sighed...They were back, she thought she would never have to see them again. Could it be them who had weakened their ranks? There was much that was unknown about this enemy...Now they were back, they must be on their guard.
Horus gave her a nod and reached his hand up slipping it back along his head, caressing over his long and pointy ears. He clears his throat and walked back over towards Hathor coming to a stop in front of her, gazing down upon her once more. "I will do the best of my abilities to keep all that would want to harm Nekhalla in check. I will even advert my eye from Kyofu and let her do as she pleases towards the child. If this Nekhalla is to become the Priestess of Amunet's temple...don't you think that Kyofu would be a bad influence on her development?" He listened to her reaction about the AE and reached his hands down towards her taking them up. Horus closed his hands about hers gently and winced a bit. "What do you think that it has always been bent on ever since the dawn of the Anubi? It says to us that it wants it's sands back, that it wants the Anubi to just disappear. The Anicent Enemy will never fully be gone if it knows that the sands are not Anubi free. But you don't have anything to worry about, I will go and present this infromation to the council when we gather again. But little or few of the members will undoubtly now believe me." He took up Hathor's hands and kissed one of them before relaxing his hold on them just a bit.
<span style='color:purple'>I do belive they will belive you if I say I do. Usually they will follow me except for a rebel like Set, but most view him as an incompetent fool. As for Nekhalla, she needs to learn the difference between friend and foe by herself...and that is something that only Kyofu can teach her.</span> Hathor smiled sweetly as Horus kissed her hand. <span style='color:purple'>Who knows, maybe one day this world will be right again...</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>GAHHH!!!! Sorry for the short post...my brain I guess hasn't fully recovered...</td></tr></table>
"I hope the same...Hathor..." He just gazed down upon her for a bit before leaning into her and placing his lips against hers boldly. He slowly drew back after doing so and winced a bit. He took his hands back from her and moved back from her with a few steps. He turned his gaze from hers and moved back over into the direction of this throne without much word to her. His hand came to rest on the arm rest of it as his eyes drifted down towards the ground gazing upon it. Trying his best to cut the tension that was starting to build in the room. "Ugh...um..." He shook his head and was going to apologize for what just happened but it just never came to words.
Hathor smiled. <span style='color:red'>"Its okay..."</span> Sometimes she did wish things had never changed...things were still as they used to be. Back when everyone was happy, and things were all right. Now, she had to make the best use of things, and hope for the best. Times change...Some have lost everything...Some had gained everything...Some had no clue what was going to happen. The Anubi were dieing, they needed outside help even if they didn't want it. Answers must be found...Answers that not even the greatest Seers could find. Who ever did this to the Anubi must be reprehanded, and punished in the harshest way imagineable <table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'>Argh sorry for the short post...</td></tr></table>
Horus came to a stop and looked over his shoulder towards Hathor one last time before turning his eyes back towards his chair. He came to flop down in it and bring one leg up over and crosses it looking at Hathor still. Several things slipped through his mind at the moment as he thought back to the past. He his came up and rested against his forehead as he thought and gave a sigh before dropping his hand, looking back to Hathor. "When you feel that this council should gather, do let me know. Cause after all, I am still rather in the dark here." He spoke with a smirk trying to make a joke. But sadly it was so dull that he was about to hang his head in shame. He shook his head lightly and slipped his tongue along his lips before looking over into the general direction of one of the large statues. He casted his hand out at the statue and caused it to begin to change suddenly. The gold and stone all together began to meld into a new form. It wasn't long till the statue was completely changed and there stood the structure of himself, in a kneeling position with an egg in his hand.
<span style='color:red'>"I shall send for you with my herald, the black cucu"</span> She nodded and head toward the exit, where Paush waited patiently. <span style='color:red'>"Oh you might want to work on those jokes while your waiting...You might actually make someone laugh!"</span> She smiled at him as she walked out into the setting sun. The dawn of a new era was upon them...And the world was ripe for changing.
