Mia 81378 10 (not quite sure how you all want the cafeteria to be so I will improvise and you can lemme know what you want changed if anything :) ) Arton comes practically staggering in. His eyes were half closed, main was all rumfled and his pants were hanging about his waist, obviously just thrown on for something to wear. He grabbed a tray and went along the lines picking up some fruits and saw some breakfast sausage and scrambled eggs. Smiling some he made some toast in one of those nice little conveyer toaster machies. Next he grinned and grabbed a coffee... then another one. Perhaps now he would wake up. With another massive yawn he found a seat and placed his tray down on a small table with only one other seat. His dark blue main hung in his face and over his silvery muzzle. Slopping some of the eggs on a piece of toast he place the susage ontop of that and a second piece of toast on top of that. Grinning groggily he took a big bite of his lil breakfast sandwhich and chased that with a swig of still quite warm coffee. Swallowing the bite he leaned forwards on his elbows and looked around. There were several others about, to him they were all crazy for being up this early. Then it hit him... today was his off day... he could still be in bed. "Well piss... " pushing his food and drink a little forward he plopped his head down on the table with a groan. This was shaping up to be a great day.
<span style='color:gray'> A petite Pendragon female, feline in nature, slinks into the Cafeteria quietly. Strong, contrasting aromas fight their way to her small, and sensitive black nose - the source of one of her strongest senses. Black coated ears flick this way and that, delicate hearing helping to guide her around the Cafeteria, along with her sense of smell. Most would use their eyesight to direct them, but being blind, Xestri of course finds this difficult. Picking up a plastic tray and a plate, feline moves into a small queue of people, ready to collect her helping of breakfast. Tell-tale rumbles emit low from her stomach, showing how truely hungry she is. Gingerly, she adds food to her plate, delicate senses acting carefully, making sure to select the right items. Piece by piece, the pile of food on her plate grows, into what most would know as a traditional English breakfast. Bacon, eggs, beans, a few hash browns here and there. And of course, a slice of toast or two. When down, the female lifts the plate to her nose, taking in the full and inviting aroma of it. A smile draws across her muzzle - a proud one. She had successfully made quite a good breakfast. Now though, she had to find somewhere to sit and eat it.. This had always proven rather difficult for her, due to her major lack of eyesight. Turning to face the tables, she winces slightly, unsure of what to do next.</span>
Arton lifted his head from the table and lifted his sandwhich to his mouth taking another bite as he glanced about. While looking around he noticed what seemed to be someone that looked rather lost. She stared about unblinking like she had no idea where to go. Taking it upon himself he stood and brushed off his paws on his pants he walked over to her. "Hello miss... no offence or anything but, do you need some help, you look rather lost. " he spoke most friendily considering he wasn't a morning person. He even had a drowzy smile upon his face. He looked her over again feeling that there was something different about this girl.
<span style='color:gray'> The feline jumps slightly, shocked by such a forward greeting by someone that she hand't seem coming. Her tay is nearly dropped in suprise, but quick reactions manage to steady it - only resulting in her plate sliding a little, and a few beans sloping onto the floor. She soon steadied herself, too, realizing that it was simply someone trying to help. Indeed he was right, she was slightly lost. Perhaps he could help her to a table? She wasn't really bothered - he could have led her right out the door for all she cared. As long as she could take her breakfast with her. Just the mere thought of her breakfas resulted in a tell-tale stomach growl, that sounded like an angered animal ready to attack if it wasn't fed. At this, the feline's cheeks twinge red, an embarrassed smile crawling across her face. "Um, yeah.. I could do with some help. Maybe yo ucould show me to a table? I have a bit of a difficulty, you see.."</span>
He blinked looking at her some raising a brow, "Um... I didn't think that the food here was that heavy. But yes I will help you to a table." he smiled some not knowing that she was blind but he knew that something was strange about her. He walked forwards easily navigating the tables leading her back to where he was sitting against one wall. He then turned to see if she had followed, "Um... my name is Arton..."
<span style='color:gray'>Indeed, the smalle feline had followed him quickly, by the sounds of his footsteps. She had weaved around the tables with little difficulty, keeping on the heels of the male before her all the while. Gentle smile plays across her face as she sits, extending a hand to him in greeting once her plate was on the table. "A pleasure to meet you, Arton. I'm Xestri."</span>
He smiles nodding, "Well Xestri... If you like you cna join me here at my table, I wouldn't mind the company." He smiled and pulled out a chair for her then takes a seat himself. Arton wasn't one to over look beauty in another he grinned a bit wider but quickly wiped it away as to not offend her. He chuckled looking at himself, "I am sorry, if I had known I would be having a breakfast guest i would have dressed a bit better. Gods... I look like a slob." he chuckles some looking around.
<span style='color:gray'> Of course, Xestri could not see Arton's clothing, for she is blind. But, although she cannot see through her two regular eyes, most believe that there is a third eye within one's forehead. Xestri believes this too, and when someone is in front of her, it is as though she can see them. An image of the person is etched into her mind - so she has a rough idea of the appearance of those she is speaking too. Quietly she looks towards Arton, taking a moment to develop an image of her. Seemed he was wearing a pair of ruffled trousers. What was wrong with that? "Err, that's okay.."</span>
He smirked and nodded slowly taking a long drink of his now much cooler coffee, "So are you new here? I haven't see you around before, and I think I would remember you if I had." he tilted his head to one side and finished up the rest of the food upon his plate leaving himself with only one cup of coffee left. Though it should be enough to get him going thismorning.
<span style='color:gray'> After a moment's hesitation, the female shook her head in answer to the question. Quietly she began to eat her breakfast, and take a few sips of the glass of orage juice that stood next to her plate. "Nope.. I just don't ususally eat at the cafeteria."</span>
He nods slowly in understanding, "Well that certainly explains that... so what brought you here today? Was the allure of cafeteria food just too much for you to take anymore?" he chuckled at his slightly sarcastic statement and took another dring of coffee. "Or maybe you are one of those people watchers?" Arton smiled some and gave an inquiring look.
<span style='color:gray'> The smile faded at his last comment - people watcher? Certainly not.. Even if she could see, she probably wouldn't be one. She directs her head down at her plate, silently continuing to eat. After a moment she shakes her head, speaking quietly. "Not exactly. I just felt like a change."</span>
He blinked and nodded slowly looking down at the mug of coffee in his clawed fingers. Turning it about he made the dark liquid swirl about slowly. His conversation with Xestri was a little awkward like she was trying to hide something about herself from him. He relinquished the thought figuring everyone had something about their past that they didn't like or didn't want anyone to know. Um... did you want me to stop bothering you and just let you eat? I am sure you have a buisy day ahead of you and you probably want to get to it." he nodded slowly taking another drink.
<span style='color:gray'> ooc| My God.. I'm SO sorry for the really late reply.. Nice pictures of Kendo, by the way. T'would be nice to see them with colour, though. (: ic| Busy day? He was right this time - she'd have to hurry off to one of her many elemental sorcery classes soon enough. But, that was no reason to usher off her polite breakfast company. Taking a sip of cool, orange juice, the liquid flowing smoothly down her thoat, she shakes delicate head lightly. "No, no. Please stay, I get so bored at breakfast.." She grins a little, lifting her head. The sight of Arton swishing and circuling the coffee in his mug just showed how awkward he must be feeling. She had gone exceptionally quiet at his 'people watcher' remark.. It must've thrown him off. It'd be better to explain. "Sorry I kind of went quiet there.. See, I'm blind.. Not really possible to be a 'people-watcher'.." She hesitates, before shrugging a little at him, unsure of what his reaction would be. Most felt freakishly uncomfortable to be in the presence of a blind 'dragon, as apparently there was something oddly intimidating about it. Perhaps her perculiar looking, pale, pupil-less blue eyes..?</span>
