Awake and dreaming

So there he lay, staring at his ceiling like he was always known to do. He had gotten one night he had started to make pictures out of the stucco in the ceiling. Yet another exciting night at the dorms, Caddum pulled himself out of bed scratching the back of his head looking around his mostly barren room. He slowly arose to his feet and did a lap. <span style='color:lightblue'>What to do what to do this is driving me insane; I have been at this damn school so many years and accomplished nothing. Well not nothing but nothing in the same sense. I am nobody, not nobody but nobody all the same. There has to be something I can do, my kid sister is almost here and sheÂ’s going to come and learn that the familyÂ’s big hope has done nothing. All right I make all right grades but still they were probably expecting something more.</span>

Caddum grabbed a pair of pants from his floor, he was sure they were clean enough. He quickly tossed them over a ragged looking pair of boxers. He grabbed his keys and a red shirt off his dresser and left the room in to the dimly lit halls. Its always so depressing in these hallways, at least on this floor, most of them were burnt out 99% of the time and the rest just sat there flickering. Maybe the other floors were better lit, He had never though to go and explore this place. He reached out side with a large gasp taking in all the fresh air he could. He had basically ran up the five flights of stairs to reach the out side but he had made it to his destination. Slowly he looked around. There being no windows it was always hard to tell what time it was and Caddum had never invested in a watch. Pumpkin orange eyes looked around to the nearest clock, wow it was late most people had probably turned in for the night. Maybe this was why he felt so alone, because the only time he was ever able time to go meet new people was a time when most people knew better then to be out.

<span style='color:lightblue'>Ahh whatÂ’s the point might as well just go back to bed. </span>Caddum began walking towards the entrance of the dorm before turning to have one final breath of fresh air before his decent back into the earth.
