Ramix sat in his guilded throne with reading specks pulled low on his nuzzel. the lights dimmed low and the night lights from stars and phosphorecent incects shining through the patio doorway. Scattered across Ramixes desk were papers covereed in formulas and scripts of ideas he had for inventions and whatnot. He reached and rubbed his brow he was tired but required not sleep his mind was tired from creating so many new inventions. Ramix got up from his compfy throne and walked over to the railing on his patio and stared down into his portion of jungle and admired the life that grew there. After staring into the deep blue of night he walked back into his home and made himself some tea. a few moments later he was walking down the plush red carpet admiring his artifacts when he got to the end of the hall he heard a knock at the door... EDIT: Timestamp... Mattateo. *flicks* - Kakos
On the other side of the door stood a funny little pendragon. His eyes were bright with excitement and the air about him sparked and sizzled. Keahi, the little electric Elemental stood at Ramix's door twitching with anticipation. As the door opened, Keahi smiled a very toothy grin, with his large bottom canines jutting up on either side of his nose. "Prrr-dane too-noo-Rramix! It's me! Kiiha! Anaa and ine were just in the...um... neighbourrrhood, and we's was thinken maybe une seen Brrrak rrah here?" Keahi's heavy rapine accent came through, and he neglected to translate a few of his words. Keahi was usually like this, too much of a rush to spit the words out that he barely had time to say them. "Cause' Anaa and ine was tah-nah ferr him! But we grun can find him!" A cool breeze swept through the door just then. Keahi shivered and spun around. His ears pricked up and and his tail flicked a few times. "Oh! Anaa is here narrner... now! Anaa! Ary Narrn! Did une find die-nootch-da?"
Month: Tessera Year: 81377 Day: 35 Ramix stood at the door watching the little ...creature he knew this was not a true pendragon for one it was speaking like a bloody rapine and the foul giberish rolled off its toungue like it was natural but as apauled as he was he recognised the thing... then it hit him and he dropped his cup of tea IT'S YOU Ramix stared wide eyed at the electricity elemental. he had been ordered to study the rapines smartest to gain an advantage over them but he thought these 3 were dead he didnt know what to make of them he decided to invite them in because he was sure if they wanted to hurt him they would have tryed already. come in Keahi be welcome in my home with that ramix walked into the house still a little surprised at what he was experiencing and he then noticed he has grabbed ahold of his strongest battle magic flows and released them not entirely willingly...
A smile crossed Keahi's face and he acceptimgly stepped through the door. Keahi wore socks on his paws and as he stepped onto the Sun Palace's red carpet a few streaks of electrical current jumped from Keahi's left wing tip to his right. Keahi, in response, purred with delight. "Unnii undon likes nii socks, Rrramix! It's covered with fur and nii sockies are charging nii wings." Keahi dragged his left paw across a small stretch of the carpet infront of him. His wings sparked a few more times and one smallish jolt crossed the space between Keahi's ears. Before the door behind Keahi shut closed, another gust of cold air breathed into the palace. Ice creeped along the ground right infront of the door, and a moment later, a blue head poked around the corner. "Kiiha ine ptar une. Ine grun tah-nah une." Anemes sat back on her haunches and the ice slowly crept over her tail and four paws. She slightly grinned under her snowy muzzle. Keahi nodded back at her. "Kai."
Ramix noticed the cold gust of air and froze (pardon the pun) he re opened the door to see Anemes siting there freezing his dorrstep. Ramix knowing that these were very powerful pendragons AND agents of the Rapine he quickly grabbed ahold of the battle magic's again. Welcome to my palace wont you please come in Ramix said in a polite welcoming tone and gestured with his and to come in. The house magic had already cleaned up the tea and broken glace and the doorway was open for the icey beeing to come in. Ramix had a multi castor on a chain around his neck along with the key and he chanelled into it and set it up so that if he needed it in a hurry he could defend himself from elemental attacks in a second. He did this ofcourse in a shielded way so that the electrical loving keahi and the chilled Anemes could not notice him doing it he then left the door open and walked down the hall just enough to give her room to enter. Ramix also cought himself looking at the family armour that was worn into wars and couldent help wondering if he would don it tonight...
Anemes tilted her head to the side at Ramix's words. She didn't understand english and therefore made no move to get up. Keahi, still fasinated by the carpet, heard Ramix's words and looked to his sister. "Anaa ary. Pardon nii sister Rrramix, she is errrf when it ary to unnii language." Anemes nodded and stood. She had to pull her feet from the ground with a loud shattered crack. Her paws broke free from the ice and her hurriedly stepped through the door. Standing by Keahi, Anemes looked a lot larger than her brother, and her facial and spinal glaciers gave her added height. Once Anemes stopped beside Keahi, her feet began to freeze to the ground again. The ice spread until it covered Keahi's right front paw. "Hey! Rrtch-tch!" Keahi snapped and pulled at his trapped foot. His foot came loose instantaiously, nearly throwing Keahi off balance. However his sock remained frozen to the floor. "Too-wan-tak unnii rrtch-ssssa Anaa!" Anemes simply shrugged, not really being able to do anything. Keahi hovered his paw above the floor, not wanting to loose his carpet charge. He then grabbed his sock and a strong current of electricity ran down the wire that wrapped Keahi's body, and exploded the ice. With his sock free again, Keahi put it back on and turned to Ramix. "Kai, so here's ssana happened. The three of us was having an arrrguement about... um ssana was is about...? I grun rrrememberr. Anyways, Brrrak got angry and went somewherrres. Anaa and ine grun can find him. We tah-nah the die-nootch-da....er firrre trail right up to unnii front undon. Then the grass turned to dirt and the firrre-da was gone! Now we's grun-grunss where to look!"
Ramix begining to pick up on the low inteligence language understood and got scared FAST knowing that they were talking about there leader and knowing that he could dispose of these two with little dificulty he was very scared of the leader because unlike ramix having a bonus on fire on ice or big on small barrock was big and flaming just like ramix if a fight were to break out it would be mostly melee. ramix figured he would try not to think about that until the time came if he was lucky it wouldn't. Ramix firmly closed the door and began walking towards the dining hall. without him realising his nevousness caused his tail flame to extend along his tail and up between his wings he didnt notice. Please follow me when they got to the dining hall ramix huridly sat down and offered them to do the same he didnt wory about the ice because like all things in his house all things were magicaly enchanted to repair damage right now his teacup was nesled in the cubbord and noone would be able to tell it broke in the first place. He then offered refreshments whyle feeling slightly comforted by a warm breese coming from the open patio...
"Tah-nah Rrrramix, Anaa." Keahi translated for his sister. Anemes nodded and fell in behind Ramix. Keahi spread his wings for balance and followed on the icy trail. Anemes walked slowly and before long, there was a short gap between her and Ramix. She turned back and quietly asked, "Kiiha, die-artak-da soo-soo ine. Die kru inuon?" Keahi's face took on a more serious expression. He wasn't quite sure how to answer his sister's question. He was begining to grow aware of Barrak's absence. "Ine grun grunss. Inuon nii-narrn Brrrak, n rrigh." Anemes frowned and nodded. She then turned back and entered the dining hall. When Rrramix asked the two ofthem to sit, only Anemes took him up on his offer. Keahi was the kind of 'dragon who liked to stay alert and ready for anything. When it came to the refreshments, neither pendragon said yes. Keahi's eyes eventually trailed over to the open patio. His little nose twitched at the breeze that blew in. There was something familiar on the air that night. Keahi pricked his large ears and turned to Ramix. "Ine hate to be rude but une have grun said a worrd about Brrrak... Ine thinks maybe une grun seen him...?"
Ramix understood absolutely nothing of what they were saying so decided to offer more to please them. With a wave of his paw Ramix floated out a feast with everything from fruit to roast to drink and settled it all on the table. I truly apoligise but i dont understand what you are saying i would love to meet your big brother i have read he can speak full english and even some ramathian. with that said Ramix began to eat some bieutiful red leaves in a salad they tasted excelent he believed they came from the oceans near bhim. Ramix waved his paw again in offering and awaited a hopefuly more legible responce.
OOC Sorry if the spelling is bad. Quite frankly, i. dont. care. XD BAC Keahi jumped as the food floated in from nowhere. The familiar scent from the patio was replaced by the aromous smells of the feast. His wings sparked and his hackles raised. Anemes had a similar reaction. As the food hovered in she burst out with a foracious snarl and a thick mist swirled around her. The two Elementals had been on edge, but this unknown sorcery threw them both into doubts about the elledged healer. Keahi was the first to settle. Anemes nose wasn't as sharp as his (perhaps because of the thick layer of snow) and therefore wasn't able to distinguish the food smell. Keahi seemed somewhat insulted by the gesture, but made no attempt to show his discomfort. "Thanks muchly Rrramix. But Ine preffers to keeps nii thoughts on nii brother. Inuon aren't much without 'im." Keahi regretted the statement the second it came out of his mouth. He had practically informed Ramix that the two of them were hindered without Barrak. A though occured to Keahi then. If he neglected to inform Anemes that the food was a polite gesture, she might pose as a threat to Ramix and keep him at his own distance. "Perhaps inuon ary here was a mistake..."
Ramix jumped at the snarl but next to that showed no more fear he had an excelent face when danger came along for petes sakes he could runaround healing pendragons amongst masses of rapine he could handle this high heartedly. he stood up and said... OOOOOoh you are looking for your brother i understand now. i must admit i was woried about you two i have read you were ferocious fighting machines so i was a tid bit worried but if you need my help finding your brother i would gladly help. with that ramix walked over to a desk and pulled out of a droor a seemingly glass teardrop that was warm yet cold at the same time to the touch. he passed the device to keahi. here use this all you need to do is say the name of your sibling and it will point in the direction that they are with that bit of confusion worked out ramix went over to the balcony and lit the outdoor lamps...
OOC Keahi falls over, sticks all four paws in the air as a giant anime sweatdrop appears above his head. BAC Keahi smiled slightly. It was good to know that they were both on the same level. Anemes had made her way over to the food table and stared at the food, still quite perplexed about their ability to fly. Keahi joined Ramix, and when the glass tear drop was handed to him, he took it into his socked paw. "Just say his name? Kai... Brrrak! " Keahi stared down at the teardrop. Nothing was happening. Keahi gave it a good shake and tried again. "Brrrak!" Yet still nothing. Ramix had just come in from lighting the lamps and Keahi turned to him. "It's oolehach." Keahi looked at Ramix with his nose screwed up in an expression of confusion. His eyes wandered past Ramix for a second or two to the dark patio, but then came back to meet with Ramix's eyes. He studied the 'dragon for a minute. Ramix's red fur bore some resemblence to Barrak's red coat. Keahi shook the idea out of his head and turned back to the teardrop.
Ramix wandered over to kehai and took the teardrop stared at it then recharged its flows a mix of spirit and earth made the gem glow with an inner light and suspended in the light was a form of a pointed leaf and it was pointed straight up. Ramix handed it back to kehai and said. Here try it again after doing this he walked over to the table and took another bite of the delicious salad slightly amused at Anemes's state of awe. I take it you dont have much magic where you come from? Ramix asked politely to Anemes and looked at kehai to translate for him.
This time Keahi spoke slowly and clearly, like you would to a stupid person, pronouncing every letter fully. "Brrrak. Ine wants to find Brrrak!" The glass charm still did nothing. Keahi began to shake it like you would a magic eight ball if it revealed an answer your did not want to see. Keahi then repeated his brother's name over and over again. Anemes looked up from the food to Ramix. His words came out clear, but held no meaning to Anemes. Keahi was to busy banging the orniament off the desk to hear their 'conversation. "Unnii nanah prrr. Bi n mmah. Brrrak iyan na..." Anemes trailed off. Her words were in Rapine, but still unmistakably sad.
Ramix chuckled watching Kehai smacking around his invention and pondered "now is there any way that would explane why it isny working" Ramix paced back and forth in thought and noticed the lack of a farmiliar glow outside. He walked over to the patio door and noticed that all the lights were indeed out. Say did either of you put these lights out without me knowing? Ramix was slightly concerned because the lights at his home were much like the tail fires of a pendragon they dont go out unles done with magic. Ramix then walked over to kehai and asked Are you sure that barrack is your brother or thats his real name like do you have any other names for him. other than that i cant think of any other reason that it wouldent work. After saying that Ramix walked over to the lights and relit them and went back to trying to have a conversation with Anemes
Keahi looked up from his work with the glass teardrop. "Ine grun do it. Ine stick with tzzt!" Keahi shook the drop once more and then gave up on it. He listened to Ramix's question and thought long and hard before giving an answer. While he thought he watched Ramix walk out and relight the lamps. "Well... artak's tend to call him Barrak... he has always been Brrrak to ine n Anaa. Hmmm... Besides calling him a vanarrikach from time to time, ine don't thinks....." Keahi trailed off as he looked up from the teardrop again. He looked directly at Ramix for a second, and then looked past him. Once again, the flames in the lamps were out. The patio was flooded by darkness. A dazzled look crossed Keahi's face. "Anaa! Ptar yun Rrrramix's die-nootch-da!" Keahi yelled rather harshly at his sister. Anemes looked out to the patio and then back to Keahi. "SSana? Grun ine! Ine grun rooah!" "Anaa, unnii retcher rrrtch-ssssa! Une krus da!" Keahi and Anemes went back and forth arguing in the harsh rapine tounge for quite some time before Anemes made the first strike. She growled loudly and the ice that covered her paws and the floor imediately around her streaked across the ground towards Keahi. It hit him with force enough to throw him off his balance and sprawled him across the floor. This, in turn, did not make Keahi very happy. His fur stood on end all over his body until it looked like he had just been taken from the dryer. He sprang forward and thrusted his wings to give him an extra boost. He pounced on Anemes, and with a loud crack of electricity, Anemes was shoved and rolled under the table. Of course all four of Keahi's feet froze solid to the ground where Anemes had been standing. The two stared ruthlessly at each other, trying to anticipate the other's next attack.
Ramix decided to stop this before they tore down the house. With a flow of air he made a large fist of air and snatched both up and lifted them several feet off the ground. kehai's feet had to be thawed before he could lift her but sure enough both floated in the air. Now easy you two we dont want to fight here in my home if we could just keep our minds at the task at hand having broke up the fight he set the siblings down and remembered back when he and his sister used to fight like that but ofcourse when they faught half of the forest might get burnt down. Poping back into the present Ramix said. now the rule of elimination would state if none of us did it then it was something outside and i plan on finding out what or who it was So Ramix walked to the paio and looked from left to right not seeing anything he called the siblings out to help him with his search... ooc- andy gave me permission to move them so its not powerplaying
Keahi yipped loudly at being taken into the air and Anemes' eyes grew very wide. Keahi was caught off guard but was used to being in the air. Anemes however was used to having four feet planted firmly on the ground. Her paws, now dangling a few feet above it, kicked out in a short lived panic. It wasn't until her feet froze solidly to the ground again that she realized how the food had floated before. Outside, sitting perched on the roof burned a certain fire pendragon. He looked down at Ramix with an amused grin. "Man if I could get those two to stop fighting so easily do you think I would be perched up here on your rooftop, Mister Sun?"
Ramix swiveled on his paw and looked at Barrock with wide eyes then realised how much they looked alike this made him les scared but also more at the same time Well i finaly get to meet the such fabled Barrock feel free to acompany me and your family to some food and refreshments With that Ramix extended a slight bow in welcoming and relit the torches once again and then walked back inside with a large smile on his face. he was quite impressed tonight he had gone from beeing horified to having some posible new friends. he was very much enjoying this. Ramix then went and picked up the slightly cracked teardrop and slid it back into the droor none to wory about the damage he could simply make a new one. He did however have a new idea for another invention. After having the instantanious brainstorm Ramix went back outside to talk more with Barrak...
Barrak tried to catch Ramix's attention before he walked back inside but failed. He wasn't just ready to have his siblings know of his whereabouts yet. He listened carefully for a few moments and then saw Ramix come out onto the patio once more. Barrak felt relieved that Ramix hadn't said anything. He grinned down at Ramix. "Sorry about the confusion over the torches. I knew Kiiha wouldn't use my translated name, but I didn't want to give you too much time to firgure it out for yourself. The torch fires were simply a rouse to get your mind off of the damn thing you gave my brother." Barrak spoke quietly, for Ramix's ears only. His english was virtually perfect, with nearly unoticable hints of an accent. Barrak still used Keahi's rapine given name though.
