Mia 13, 81381 <span style='font-family:times'><span style='font-size:10pt;line-height:100%'>Pink walked the streets of Aurius. He wore a hood today. Nothing fancy, just enough to conceal his identity from most of the hustle and bustle that the markets around seemed to be. He watched as all sorts of 'dragons went about their daily lives. He saw very few Aquabats though, which was good. He didn't need anyone recognizing him and making a scene. He took a seat on a bench, and watched as people went by on their bikes. Some walked on all fours past, most being bipedal due to this suburbia. He could see across the city. Even through this crowd, he loved it. But there were too many people around to feel tottaly comfortable. He twiddled his thumbs, and just waited for time to pass. </span></span>
A little ways away, a notepad and pen in her hands, Lucy sat on an opposing bench, watching the hooded person and taking small notes on him. She found him quite intriguing, to say the least. A self consious, unsettled and antisocial person was how he seemed to her. She fumbled to write something, but her finger slipped. "Ah..." She said, as the pen slid to the ground and rolled across the road toward the stranger. She put her notepad on the bench, and scampered after her pen, hoping she could get to it, before it got to him. She threw herself quickly after it, glasses falling foreward off her nose. She picked up her pen, then her glasses, and looked up, and, to her surprise, was right infront of the stranger. "I'm sorry!" She said, looking slightly embarassed at the scene. "I hope I didn't disturb you, sir!" She turned, distressed, and began going back toward to retrieve her notepad. Great, now he knew she was there. She wouldn't be able to watch him anymore. Just her luck, she thought, and gave a huffy sigh.
<span style='font-family:times'><span style='font-size:10pt;line-height:100%'> Pink gave only a slight nod as the arden apologized. He looked her up and down as she walked back to her seat. He took special note that she was an Aquabat. But he had noticed the Q on her hand. She was young and of a different clan. So odds were she didn't have any idea who he was. Which was good, because the things he'd done, and the tales that had followed were infamous and seemed to start trouble in a lot of places. Here in Aurius though, even in the crowd. He figured he wouldn't be recognized. So he stood and began to walk away. He stopped though at the top of the hill he was on, and just gawked at the view. Having nothing to do today, he had plenty of time... </span></span>
"He's leaving, crap" She whispered to herself. She wanted to keep him in sight, such an interesting figure could not possibly get away. She gathered up her things, and began to walk that very same way, pretending to be quite absent-minded. She soon caught up and began walking a few meters behind him, until he stopped. She moved out of the way, and stopped too. She looked out at the same view, and grinned to herself. She watched him for another few minutes, continuing to write on her notepad. Such an interesting person, she thought to herself. If she was lucky, she thought, she might even be able to get to know him. Well...she could always hope, anyway. She moved quietly from her spot and closer to him, then spoke up. "Oh, fancy meeting you again. The view's nice, isn't it, sir?" she gave a catty grin, and awaited his reply.
<span style='font-family:times'><span style='font-size:10pt;line-height:100%'>He yawned and looked at her again. <span style='color:salmon'> "Do I happen to know you?" </span> He turned back to the view, he stared at it for a long moment or two. <span style='color:salmon'> "Yes.. The view's beautiful. Probally one of the best 'dragon-made views around." </span> He took a slow step, motioning for her to follow if she'd like. Then he began walking, down this road. He hadn't come here for any particular reason, but he was still looking for something. Though he wasn't sure what it was, he wasn't sure if he had already found it or not either... </span></span>
Lucy followed him at almost the same pace, trotting along beside him. "Well, you do now" she told him, simply to be a wise-ass. "But for the record, I'm Castitas Q46...but please just call me Lucy, it's so much simpler, don't you think?" She grinned. "So, tell me about yourself? Who are you?"
<span style='font-family:times'><span style='font-size:10pt;line-height:100%'> Pink grinned at Lucy's smart-assed remark. He stopped and extended a hand. <span style='color:salmon'> "I'm.. Pink." </span> He said, saying the name with a bit of hesitation. <span style='color:salmon'> "Sure.. Simpler. Right." </span> He took note now, instead of her being an Aquabat like himself, she had glasses. He stared at them for a moment, and unbeknownst to him, he'd started staring into her eyes. He caught himself, and quirkishly looked away. But after the rather formal introduction of himself, he started up walking again. <span style='color:salmon'> "So what're you around here for? Anything inparticular?" </span> He asked with a smile, knowing he himself didn't have any reason to be here at all. None that you're average 'dragon could understand anyway. Nothing he felt quite like explaining either.</span></span>
She took his hand and shook hands with him. "My glasses are the reason," she giggled "My eyes don't work right. And...those operations look really, really dangerous. And when my eyes don't work right, I can't swim very well. So I got glasses and live around here till they come up with some SAFE operations." She continued walking by his side, unconsiously doodling on her notebook aswell. It turned out to look like a little [horrbily drawn] fish with wings and a...trunk? She looked at it, made a funny look on her face, and closed it up.
<span style='font-family:times'><span style='font-size:10pt;line-height:100%'> Pink gave a slight awkward chuckle as well, <span style='color:salmon'> "Glasses eh? Are you getting new ones today or something? Just because you're a bat doesn't mean you couldn't walk on regular land. Aurius isn't the only place other than the sea." </span> He said as if she didn't know anyway. He glanced now at all the stores they passed as they walked, the minuesque syndication of Aurius still brought a lot of activity. Even down here. The things and services for sale store to store varied. Pink taking it all in, and still noticing the quirks and the physiology of this 'dragon he was talking to. He looked at her notebook as she closed it. He laughed a bit, <span style='color:salmon'> "So you doodle eh? What do you sketch? Things with trunks often?"</span> He smiled. Wondering whether or not he should be so inquisitive of someone he just met. Drawings were often personal, and maybe he was intruding on things she'd rather not tell him. But he shrugged that off, seeing as how she started the coversation, she didn't have to tell him if she didn't want to. Or at least that's what he told himself so he wouldn't feel as awkward asking these things. </span></span>
"Ah, I like being in Aurius, keeps me close to the sea. The sea is my inspiration, I'm a poet." She smiled. "And...I don't usually doodle silly things like this." She giggled. "So, how about you? What brought you to this land?"
<span style='font-family:times'><span style='font-size:10pt;line-height:100%'> <span style='color:salmon'> "Ah, A poet eh? Poetry has always impressed me. I can't seem to draw words from most of the things that other 'dragons can." </span> With that, he looked fondly above them. How the sea surrounded them. But alas' still. He couldn't draw words from it, at all. He only saw how easily the spirits of the water would help you if you handed to them enough respect. He smiled as she giggled. It was cute, but with the question he dimmly turned away, looking back at the sea again. <span style='color:salmon'> "I honestly have no idea why I'm back here. Just to pass time I suppose..." </span> Which, wasn't honest at all. He had come to meet a certain someone. A certain Vamp. But he didn't much feel the need to divulge this to the youngling. It all led back to things she'd never comprehend. The soul that was reimbersed, and Vematta's undying servance to it. Why the flower was needed. Pink wasn't quite sure that he was even going to show up. But still he was here, and passed the time not by just existing here, but by making conversation with Lucy. And with a drastic change of subject, Pink asked his own question back to her. <span style='color:salmon'> "So, what else are you into?" </span> </span></span>
"Well then, I guess I'll keep you company for a bit" She payed close attention as he thought. He seemed to be deep in thought -- giving her the impression that he was hiding something -- but also very distracted. Oh well, she thought, she'd let it go for now. "Well, singing is fun! I do a fair amount of singing and...reading! I LOVE fantasy books! So much fun! And and and...MENLO." Her eyes gleamed at this. "Menlo's fun on occasion, but I heard too much can hurt you!" She smirked slightly. She seemed to enjoy being around him - Quite an enjoyable presance, she couldn't help it.
<span style='font-family:times'><span style='font-size:10pt;line-height:100%'>She seemed to be enjoying his company as much as he was hers. Or so he assumed by her bright composure for the time being. <span style='color:salmon'> "Well that's good." </span> He smiled. At least someone thought he was good company. Being as his past wasn't too noble. It was good having company like this. She was brightening his day more and more. By the night he had business to attend to. Down here though, it could be night. And he'd never know. So he just enjoyed the time they were spending together. <span style='color:salmon'> "I don't much read. But singing can be fun from time to time." </span> With the mention of this.. Men..low. He was thrown off by it, he had no clue what it was at all. He had never bothered with games. He never seemed to have the time. But with this interaction, he figured he could learn a thing or two. <span style='color:salmon'> "Menlo.. What might that be?" </span></span></span>
