A slight breeze blew gently through the crisp air, stirring up scents of 'dragons long past, rustling the slight leaves of a small bush as they swirled swiftly, then rushed onward on missions unknown to mere mortals. A clear, star-spotted sky blanketed the terrafirma, but no moon dared make its entrance, and thus the mountians were almost invisible. A single note, clear and pure, rang out suddenly through the path, soon joined by many others, weaving their way intracitely through the icy land before them, low and in some lost language, but that was ok. The beautiful notes were enough. Then, there was sun. The immense ball of flame breeched the gates of the horizon, speading its infinite rays of light upon the world, casting into view the whole of the Nyonge mountians in all of their brilliance. Then it reached the singer, Nasullek. The moment the first ray prickled her clear fur, it exploded into a spectrum of unbelievably beautiful color, enchanting a small bird for a moment before it flitted away, almost blinded. Then the light raised a little more, and the shine dwindled to a not quite as bright, more bearable rainbow that danced lightly over her sleek frame, bathing her in color. Nasulleks turquoise optics twinkled happily as she brushed back a strand of straight hair from her face and leaned back against a boulder, admiring the sky while still singing. Although she was in anthro form, she wore no clothes - one of ice hardly got cold at these cozy tempuatures - and all she had on was a single, silver chain choker, with the word 'Fhis' in vertical letters engraved on a small navy blue stone hanging from it.
Dewlap's eyes fluttered open from her nap when she heard som rather good singing. But the second she sat up, just like the small bird, left her in a blind daze. She spread her wings to steady herself, as she took a step forward and soon learned herlegs didn't want to walk after her nap. She tumbled, no, fell down the side of the mountain until herfall was stopped by a rather silky pillow. "Mhmmm so soft." but at that moment, her brain clicked, she was sitting ontop of another 'dragon. She jumped off, andsoon realizing, this might have been the source of the singing. "Uhm, excuse me, I'm sorry, were you the girl who was singingjust now?" Now that she looked at the girl, she had lovely fur,it was long, and brightly colored in the snow and sun, bringing her out from the scenery like a farytale. Her spikes were an addition to how she looked. She tilted her head to one side, letting her teal hair fall out of her eyes so she could get a better look. "Your fur, it's lovely."
Lek toppled over, but as soon as the other 'dragon got off, she sprang up instantly, glaring at Dewlap, when she heard the apology, and the unintentional first compliment, and then the second one. This other dragon was nice, she decided. Yes, in fact, I was, she replied, not meanly, And thanks, sorry if my fur blinded you for a moment, it has a tendency to do that. And it did - it was not uncommon for people to complain about this. She usually punched them, but since the thill hadn't complained, she didn't get mad. Lek had a soft spot for flattery, so Del would have to do something pretty bad to get on Nasullek's bad side now. So, whats your name? I've been dubbed Nasullek. Nasullek, actually, was her last name, but she had switched them when she was 18.
