    Nhjinn.16.Male

    _________________________________________________

In a quiet part of the courtyard, settled on a bench set into the thick concrete wall that partitioned off this section of grass and foliage, sat a spry male 'dragon. Well. If one explored his linage they'd discover he was an anubial 'dragon; a race re-known for their ancient culture and knowledge of the Fronima. Or something like that. Nhjinn sat curled up against where cold bench met equally cold wall, his thread-bare and knee-less black jeans covering his long legs while a sleeveless black tee covered his lean torso. A heavy chain wrapped around his neck, held closed by a small lock; they key suspended on a thin leather thong beside it. His ears were adorned with a haphazard assortment of piercings -matching the random bits of jewellry he had worn today. Modern met ancient on his wristbands, one seemingly made of solid gold and inset with turquoise and lapis lazuli, while the other was made of plain black leather and studded with pewter spikes.

The brindled male had shunned his usual social activites, growing unexplainably bothered by the enveloping prescense of the 'dragons at the school. Or maybe it was the dreams again... Those soft whispers in his ear at night that told him of the shifting sands and rising dunes, and his proud and ancient ancestry. A females voice... soft and cloying. Always telling him to get up, get up and get out. Go back to where he belonged.

But he ignored the voice and simply went about his business as usual, albiet in a far more sleep-deprived manner. He couldn't... he wouldn't show his face in the desert. How could he? Ever since... the incident, he was no longer pure anubi. Demonic blood mingled with his own inside the labyrinth of his veins. As far as his family, even his parents, were concerned, he was no longer their child or relative. He was nobody.

  2. Nekhalla was walking to her usual spot in the cortyard with Dos, her Cucu friend. It seemed to be ocuppied by a rather perturbed Anubi. She stood infront of him and looked down. Something wasn't right about him though...It bugged her, could he be a half-breed like herself? Impossible, he could be though. His jewlery said to her he definatly had lived in the desert at one point. Why did he leave though? What dishonor did he do to his family? Did he have a debt to a Guardian too? Oviously looking cunfuzzled she coughed. Unless he could reconise her face shape as Anubian, there was no way he would realize that she was even part Anubi, as she was wearing a hat to keep her ears down.

    <span style='color:red'>Your in my spot...</span>

Dos didn't like him at all he was shaking and digging his claws into Nekhalla's pants, which also ment they were going into her skin. Her white duster was modeled after a movie character from Earth called Neo. She wore a black pleated skirt, black and white striped stockings and black kneehigh buckle boots. Her shirt could not be seen as the duster was buttoned up. Her hat was her favorite one her adopted Grandpa sent her from Earth before he died there, it was called an OMG. It was black with white eyes, little skulls on the ear flaps and a zig-zag tail thingy. She gave Dos a pat on the head to calm him down some, but it didn't help any...

  3. Nhjinn stirred from his thoughts long enough to glance up at the 'dragoness who had spoken. He shifted in place, drawing his knees up closer, as if to make himself smaller, or at least less exposed. He turned his face towards her, ears perking slightly. Habit kicked in and a wry smile made itself known on his face, his normally bright eyes dull and bearing a jaded look.

<span style='color:gray'>"I don't see your name anywhere."</span> his voice, which was normally so deep and rich, seemed weaker than usual, as if something had sucked part of the life out of him. Maybe something had. Who knew. The brindled 'dragon made a half-hearted attempt to roll his shoulders, trying to kill some of the tension that treatened to clamp up his back.

<span style='color:grey'>"Nice hat by the way."</span> he sighed, ruffling his usually neat bangs. As usual, the alabaster markings on the back of his palm stood out more than simple lines should, glowing ever-so faintly in the shaded area he currently resided in. A sharp stinging accompanied the glow, but he was used to it. The only sign he was in any kind of pain was the tiny twitch that had developed under one eye.

  4. <span style='color:red'>Thanks, oh and yes my name is on it</span>

She pointed to the tree where the name 'Nekhalla' had been carved into it.

<span style='color:red'>Happens when you have an knife to kill...</span>

She noticed the scar and his twitch. So did Dos, and Dos being the do-gooder he is. Went over and investigated. Nekhalla gave his tail a sharp tug and he came back. He was oviously not afraid anymore.

<span style='color:red'>Sorry about him...He's just one not to see anyone hurt. He know Cucu healing magic so he tries to use it to fix anything and everything he can. It usually takes him a little longer to become less of a leg monkey around people...you seem to be different though. He usually only is like that when the person has something to hide. He thinks he can change the past...If he could I would most likely be the happiest 'dragon ever.</span>

She bent down and picked Dos up. He meowed with happiness. She tickled his tummy and he giggled. She looked at the other dragon

<span style='color:red'>I didn't catch your name...That is if you wish to tell it...</span>

  5. <span style='color:gray'>"Technically, that's the tree, not the bench."</span> he grinned slightly, relaxing just a bit further. That is, until she mention that weird cat-thing knowing about secrets. Shit. Not good.

<span style='color:grey'>"Yeah... well he's a cute 'leg moneky' if that makes any difference."</span> Nhjinn shrugged, eyeing the little white fuzz. <span style='color:gray'>"Everyone has something to hide. Some scar in their past they'd give anything to change. But some of us have it worse than others."</span> he made eye contact with Nekhalla breifly before breaking it and glancing down, seemingly inspecting a crack near his right heel.

    <span style='color:gray'>"Nhjinn."</span> he murmured, offering his name, <span style='color:gray'>"But call me Jin."</span>

  6. <span style='color:red'>Jin, cool, My names Nekhalla, this Dos...he's an Uhai Desert Cucu...As for scars...For some of us its who we are that is our scar in my case...My existance got me kicked out of my homeland. I was something not ment to exist...A sin simply put.</span>

Nekhalla looked side to side and then when the cost was clear lifted up her hat. Her ears stood up on end like an Anubi's! She was definatly more then she seemed.

    <span style='color:red'>I'm a halfbreed.</span>

She quickly put her hat back down and her ears went back to their formar position. She pointed to Dos.

<span style='color:red'>He's a pussy...He got kicked out of his clan for being weak and a pacifist, that's why he's with me.</span>

  7. "Halfbreed..." he breathed softly, eyelids floating low over honey-orbs. Maybe he wasn't alone after all. <span style='color:gray'>"Join the club."</span> he smiled, albiet wryly. <span style='color:gray'>"Parents threw me out soon as I was big enough to to be a meal for anything bigger than your Cucu friend there. Came here because I had nowhere else to go."</span>

He fingered a lock of his hair, eyeing first Nekhalla then the empty space next to him on the bench.

<span style='color:gray'>"Guess we're all freaks here..."</span> he laughed bitterly. He patted the cold stone beside him, indicating she should take a seat.

<span style='color:gray'>"Yeah... I'm a halfbreed in a sense..."</span> he said, absently fingering the spot on his side where that drooling maw had closed over his body.

  8. She gladly accepted the seat and then quickly reached into her bag and pulled out a large ball of yarn and tossed it in front of her. Dos meowed happily and attacked it, immeidiatly starting to unwind it.

<span style='color:red'>Cat toy, sorry, yeah...I guessing demon right? I'm half normal half anubi, never met my real parents. a nice couple in Watani found me on a trip in the Uhai and decided to keep me, I was about 6 then. They eventally sent me here because I wasn't their idea of a 'perfect daughter'. They were hoping for a prep, what they got was a crazy kid who didn't know where to go and was haunted by a Anubi Guardian who will basically own her soul until she can pass her test. Stupid bitch...I have to do what she says and let her toture me until I'm strong enough to pass the test. Dos here is stuck with me forever...the bitch bonded him to me...I die, he dies. Its an incentive for me not to get killed.</span>

Nekhalla pushed her hair out of her face. She had the deep green-grey eyes, they were fairly big too. Dos had unwound the ball about halfway and it was already wrapped around his tail. He was meowing happily.

  9. Nhjinn sat back, letting all she had just said sink in, while at the same time studying her from under his bangs. She had nice eyes... kind of a fuzzy shade that reminded him of mist over the lake in the late evenings, just after the sun had set and the light from the stars illuminated the tiny droplets suspended in the air just above the water. Pretty...

<span style='color:gray'>"Uh... yeah...."</span> Jin started, breaking off that train of thought. <span style='color:gray'>"My situation is somewhat different... I was born to anubi parents, but an accident resulted in tainted blood... something they didn't take kindly too."</span> Why was he telling her this? He'd just med her for Gods' sake. <span style='color:gray'>"Weredragon got me when I was just a kid. Sister saved me from becoming chow, but I still was cursed. Some weird vampire hag took an interest in me not long after I came to the Janardan. She's gotten to me and a couple other students."</span>

<span style='color:gray'>"You've got really pretty eyes, y'know... your hat's cool and all but it kinda hides them..."</span> he grunted, averting his gaze in the opposite direction, wondering why the hell he was complimenting some stranger. Even if it was a cute stranger. DAMNET. There he went again.

  10. Nekhalla blushed...she had never been told that...She then looked suddenly surprised

<span style='color:red'>Vampire hag...Does she have turqoise eyes? Tan...kinda mysterious? If so we may both have the same problem, if not our problems may be simular in relation. As for being a weredragon...There is a rather famous one around here her name is Cuesanu, she's a 9 year old computer genius. She can hack any system made and creates the best Menlo chips, she designed mine personally. If you ever need someplace to crash on 'one of those nights' go to 1313 in the dorms. You'll find her there, the room is specially made for weredragons so they can't break out of it, and it won't let anyone in.
    </span>

Nekhalla took his advice some what and pulled her hat up so her eyes could be seen more.

<span style='color:red'>I have to wear the hat because no one who isn't anubi, vampire, weredragon, etc is supposed to know I'm a halfbreed. My ears give it away so I wear a hat. You know what they say 'If you wear a hat, nobody will notice.'</span>

She smirked at her use of an old Earth pharse she had learned from her Grandpa oh so long ago. She loved Grandpa's letters and his presents, thats where she had gotten the hat and alot of other things too. He liked to spoil her, he was the only one who really liked her.

  11. Jin shook his head, pierced ears dangling loosly at the sides of his head.

<span style='color:grey'>"Nah... Kinda looks like the living dead, eyes are different colors two... ones almost white and the other is shit colored. Skeletal pedophile is what she is."</span> the last sentance was muttereed under his breath, eyes narrowing slightly. He perked up at the mention of another weredragon. As far as he'd know he'd been the only one at the academy...

<span style='color:grey'>"Thanks for the tip... I'll drop by there sometime to check the place out.</span> he sighed quietly, fidgiting slightly in his seat to make himself more comfortable.

<span style='color:grey'>"Yeh know... there's no one else around... You don't have to wear the hat right now. I', certainly not going to judge you and I doubt your Cucu friend will either."</span> he commented off handedly, trying his best to appear completely non-chalant.

  12. Nekhalla looked around, he was right. She took the hat off and shook her head so the fur on her ears would fluff some. In the light her fur shimmered black and red making her natually a goth. She smiled.

    <span style='color:red'>Better?</span>

She flipped her hair behind one ear, and then scratched her head.

<span style='color:red'>She is most likely friends with Hathor...Hathor seems to always be connected to people like that. Its like some wierd Guardian evil network she has. You may eventally want to speak to Umeoral Paush...He can usually help with those things as he is a High Priest. He's kinda scary looking just cause he is, but he's really nice.</span>

Dos had gotten himself completly tangled up in the yarn and was perfectly content with trying to untangle himself Nekhalla looked down at him and raised and eyebrow, he smiled sheepishly. She shook her head.

    <span style='color:red'>I don't think I'll ever understand...</span>

  13. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class=ooc><tr><td>Kaieta love! Hows you doing! Would I be to much of a bother if Kyofu made a surprise visit to her favorite god-child, Nekhalla?! Mesa promise to keep her on a short chain and not allow her to become...to over rated. ^^ Of course if it is alright with Silith as well...</td></tr></table>

  14. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class=ooc><tr><td>Fine with me...could make this very interesting...specially with no one else around.</td></tr></table>

  15. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class=ooc><tr><td>XD Fine with moi. Could get even more interesting if I pulled Asphyxia outta me arse to come and protect her 'son in darkness'.</td></tr></table>

Nhjinn smiled warmly -probably the first true smile that had come from him in a long time- and nodded approvingly.

<span style='color:grey'>"You look fantastic."</span> he commented before realizing or being able to stop himself.

<span style='color:grey'>"Yeah.... I don't think my hag knows your hag. Asphyxia is kinda creepy... no one likes to hang around her for too long incase they either get eaten or molested. Personally I'd perfer the former."</span> his voice was bitter again, and he practically spat when he mentioned the vampires name.

<span style='color:grey'>"Even creepier is her brother -who ain't so bad, just a little creepy- teaches here. Machina and poisons master... kinda fitting for 'im"</span> he sighed quietly, giving the fur of his nape a light tousel with his hand. Something was sending shivers down his spine again...

  16. <span style='color:red'>Thanks, I'm not used to not wearing a hat...it feels good.</span>

She ran her fingers thru her long curlly hair. They got stuck on a knot and she gave up. Her hair was always looked good but it had lots of knots in it that gave it its look.
    <span style='color:red'>
I think I had him at one point...Yeah he was pretty creepy. Hathor is just well, if your her type she'll sleep with you, if not, its torture or slavery. Unless your Paush who is her High Priest, he kinda gets special privlages including telling Hathor to stop. He's saved my life on several occasions. If your an non-anubi and you enter her temple, your not coming out. She likes to either play games with them or let the temple Cucu's rip them to shreds...thats where Dos came from. He was just a kitten when I found him...he didn't want to fight or eat pendragons so he hid behind Hathor's throne, one day he got the guts to come out and help me after I got my ass kicked. I was laying on the floor half-dead, slipping in and out of reality, and he healed me. The rest of the Cucus I guess afterwards beat the shit out of him and then left him outside the temple to die...cause thats where I found him, I owed him so I nursed him back to health. Hathor being an annoyance then bonded him to me...The only good thing about it is I'll never be alone as long as I live.</span>

She bent down and took the string off of Dos's two front feet, as it was impairing his movement. He then started playing with it again. Nekhalla scratched his head and he purred happily...he was so easily pleased.

  17. The blue flame female gasped lightly at the sight of so many pendragons in one place. But the slight state of shock came to a sudden stop she moved up the front steps of the academy. Other 'dragons moved out of her way in their own state of shocks as they laid eyes on the four arm, three golden eyed, blue flaming Anubi-pendragon. Kyofu grinned at the attention and chuckled throwing her arms out away from her body, causing gold coins to brust out of the air from the light sand particles then dropping to the ground in a clattering sound. Pendragons turned their attention to the coins of Anubian gold and all started to gather it up in a rush. Kyofu chuckled and shook her head as she pressed on through the halls of the academy looking for her lovely Nekhalla.

As Kyofu pressed on she passed that of a open room and gazed in on that of students as they focused on black magic. Students all around was over focusing their fromina creating their assigned element. Some lightning, some fire, some water, some air, and so on. Kyofu grinned as she watched before turning her eyes away at sudden feel of something dark that sweep through the halls, something evil. She glared and looked down the hall towards that of another pendragon that was dressed in a white business suit with a senior student sticking close by. "You have came to far of a way to just come and pick a fight, Kyofu." The 'dragon's voice echoed through the hall as it spreaded forth it's skeleton wings.

Kyofu's eyes widen at the sound of that voice, that voice of the one that set her free so many moons ago. A wicked grin played across Kyofu's features and she moved down the hall slowly towards the figure. "Sieben Wulf...how charming to finally meet you again. And after such a long time as well." Kyofu spoke come to a stop feet away from him, staring back into his glasses covered eyes.

Sieben smirked and shook his head lightly drawing the shades from his eyes gazing upon Kyofu with a smirk. "You haven't changed at all since that day when I and my wife broke into your temple...or as so many of your kind came to refer it as a tomb."

"Perhaps, but remember I was gladly glad to be out of that place so that I could plague the world once more with my urges of destruction and bloodshed," Kyofu said, "but enough about things of the past. I came to see my God-child Nekhalla. Do you know of her where abouts?"

Sieben smirked. "Yes, she is one of my best students. I seen her in the Courtyard a few moments ago. Allow me to take you to her."

"No, no. I can find her on my sweet own, thank you Mr.Wulf." And with that Kyofu pressed on walking away from Sieben and down the hall once more. Sieben merely smirked and moved down the opposite direction towards the teacher's lounge being followed by his counter part, Adara. Kyofu moved along the hall with her eyes drifting about at the display of decorations and everything till she was nearly blinded by a ray of sunlight that came from the always opened Courtyard. She reached her hand up and blocked it from her eyes with a chuckle for a short while then dropped it away. She shook her head and moved out into the Courtyard turning her eyes about at the stone benches and the greenish of the place. It was so pretty and full of flora. She chuckled a bit and lowered her eyes as she walked, looking for her Nekhalla.

  18. Nhjinn nodded absently as he listended to Nekhalla, caught up in the sound of her voice and the sudden, unexplainable urge to blurt out something. Though fourtunately for him, his voice box couldn't seem to work out just what that something was.

<span style='color:gray'>"Well you're lucky then... I mean about the whole Dos thing. They say familiarity breeds contempt, but it's still better than being alone for most of, if not all of your life."</span> Jin smiled bitterly, before breaking out into an obviously forced laugh. <span style='color:gray'>"In my case, the second a girl finds out I'm a w-were,"</span> he stumbled over the word, his brows furrowed in contempt, <span style='color:gray'>"I get the, it's not you, it's me schpeil. Or they freak out and transfer schools."</span>

Jin sighed, long and low, leaning heavily against the cool stone as though all his energy had just been spent on that one little speech. If it could even be called that.

<span style='color:gray'>"Just... count yourself lucky there are people, er... -Does Dos count as a person?- who like you for who you are and wouldn't want you to change for anything."</span>

  19. Nekhalla blushed.

<span style='color:red'>I guess, you being a were doesn't bother me. Cuesanu is like a little sister to me. She's been a were all her life and has killed a dragon. She says she never will forgive herself, and now is so careful around that time of month. She won't even come out during the day during that time. I know how painful it is to transform and risk hurting people, I have an anger issue that when I get really angry I get violent...I can usually catch myself before I hurt someone. Dos has the same problem...his is he feels he must protect me...no matter what.</span>

She tickled Dos's tummy he squealed with laughter. He loved attention, he looked so harmless right now. He was dangerous when Nekhalla was threatened though, so dangerous Nekhalla had to find a spell to bring him down just incase. She doesn't like people getting seriously injured. People hurting badly was something she didn't like, unless it was that big olf Iode, he was just fun to made bleed. She never hurt him badly though, just a few scratchs now and then.

  20. Kyofu came to a stop with walking and lowered her head with a light sigh. She reached her hand up along the back of her neck and shook her head at the thought of not finding Nekhalla. She lifted her eyes back up and folded her ears back in disbelief. "Nekhalla isn't here...she must have just lied to me so that she could stay away from me. I don't blame her of course." Kyofu spoke before moving over towards a bench and slumping down onto it. Her eyes drifted shut and her head came rested back against the bench with another sigh. But to her knowledge that Nekhalla wasn't no more than a few feet away from where she sat. Her upper set of arms came up and drapped over the back of the bench with her others crossing over her stomach. "No reason to go and strain myself on the idea of distrust from Nekhalla...maybe it is just for the best that she did stay away from me." She spoke with a light shake of her head as she parted her eyes looking up towards the blue skies over head.
