  1. <font color='#000000'>Day: 16th Tessera, 81377

    OOC: If I make any mistakes, please forgive me. I haven't actually RPed here in a looooong time. And this character is more like me, so he'll be easier to RP.

    IC:
    The sound of stepping paws resounded in the front foyer. Okay, so these were more stepping paws, because there were most likely other 'dragons here. The owner of these 'more stepping paws'? Another Pendragon.

    Saltamus's serpentine body was carried by very long legs, which in turn were carried by... big paws. Yes, big paws. The black 'dragon raised his head, and opened his completely milky white eyes. He looked towards the tail, upon which the flame was burning ever so steadily. He nodded, and spoke.

    Yes... still as red and healthy as ever.

    Now, one might be surprised, but he was not blind. He just couldn't help his eyes being completely white. With a nod, he began walking over to the registration desk, his tail swaying to and fro, his mane rippling in a breeze that blew past.</font>

  2. <font color='#000F22'><center><blockquote><font color=dimgray face=verdana size=1><span style=letter-spacing:-1px>Hart's attention was locked on the paper before her, eyes speedily flickering across the form. It was an application for an open teaching spot, and such things had to be carefully read. After all, someone might slip in a criminal activity or something of the sort within an otherwise innocent paragraph. Hart had seen it before, and, doubtless, would see it again. This one seemed clean, so far, and Demori was rather happy with it, actually. So far, she was prepared to accept him as the newest addition to their staff. That didn't mean she was going to start begin more lenient as she read on, though, if anything she was more intent on finding something wrong. Things that looked too good to be true, often were.

    Her gaze only flickered upwards as the nioti approached. Having finished it, and signed her acceptance of the application, she slid it onto the top of the "done" pile. Frowning faintly at the milky state of his eyes, she wasn't entirely surprised at his ability to walk without assistance. She was more surprised that he could see, with such a white appearance to them, the lack of a pupil. <font color=#330000>"Hello there, young sir, can I help you?"</font>

    </font>

  3. <font color='#000000'>Hearing the principal's voice, Saltamus flourished his head and began to scamper over quicker. Soon he was there, in talking and seeing distance. He gave a sly grin as he sat down, and spoke in an ever-so-calm tone.

    Oh yes, I do need some assistance. He grabbed some papers from his pack, and continued. You see, I'm sort of a 'transfer student', if that's what you'd call it. My previous school was very poor; too poor to survive, in fact. My guardian reccomended Janardan, and... well, here I am. Salty checked the papers, and tilted his head, still speaking. I'm still learning to read and write, though. I have gotten fairly decent at it, but I still can't understand the jargon on my guardian's work, so he's pretty much a scribe for me.</font>

  4. <font color='#000080'>Katrina padded by, her usual perky self.  She only had to be serious at the Tsupeon, not here.  Besides, she was looking at new talent, promising pupils, ....fresh blood.  She turned the corner into the front foyer and saw a younger 'drangon there.  She smiled to herself and leaned up against the wall, containing the urge to bound over and welcome him personally.

    She was about to walk over, but she caught the eyes of a passing teacher who looked like he might be in a bad mood.  Kat tip-toed away slowly, giving a last glance at what might have been some amusement for the day.</font>

    Hart waited patiently, that seemingly ever present smile plastered on her face. Eyes lit up with a vague amusement, as well as warmth, as he told her he was a "transfer student". They got some of those, and, it seemed, his was a school that had died. There were rivals to Janardan but none that really matched its status as far as education went. Thus, it was really no surprise that the cub's guardian had suggested here as a good place to learn. It was, really, even though they had gaping holes in their teaching positions. She'd have to work on that, later, getting new recruits to add to their staff. They really did need new teachers to add classes, and, it seemed, there were few of them to be found.

    Eyes flickered across the papers, and she nodded a bit, brushing her paw across the tip of her chin in thought. <font color=#330000>"Most of the stuff I need is right here. Have a preference for dorm or roomate? Oh, I'm Hart Demori, the principal. Forgot to introduce myself."</font> She replied, with a slight nod and a distant smile, still considering some of the wording on the paper.

    </font>

  6. <font color='#000000'>"Any particular preference? Well, all I can say is that I don't want to be sharing a dormitory with someone too rough." He adjusted the straps on his back a little nervously as Hart read the papers. "Ah, Hart Demori. I've heard about you for a while now."

    The papers seemed relatively normal... record clean from illegal doings, showing which subjects he excelled at, each paper signed by his guardian... until the medical papers. There was one eye-catching thing on the line for 'disorders/disabilities': Asperger's Syndrome. Following that were the scribbled words, "affects socialising and learning abilities, but not always negatively".

    Salty swallowed. Asperger's Syndrome. It was what made him special; why he was different mentally. But, deep down, he feared that it might have a negative impact on the reputation that he hadn't even earned yet. He'd dreaded this for quite a while. Hopefully this wouldn't stop him from becoming accepted.

    (( OOC: That's why I find him easier to roleplay than Tyran. I have Asperger's Syndrome myself. *nodnod* ))</font>
