The pendragon slid gracefully into a small booth, her tray gliding along the table with her movement, nearly a sound not made. She glanced around the Cafeteria, her amber-gold eyes not betraying loneliness at her present state, just an un-restrained curiosity at the things around her. She absently lifted her frappacino and brought the lid to her awaiting mouth, its cool liquid sending a chill throughout her sleek form.
'Why did I get a frap when I know it's always freezing in cafe's?'
She shook her head slightly at her musing and took another drink, the taste was good no matter how chilly it made her.

Sylverstryx kicked the vending machine that had just eaten his last dollar, swearing under his breath. <span style='color:slateblue'>Figures the damn thing fricks up on me.</span> A particulairly vicious kick from the multicolored male caused the pop he had paid for to fall out into the holding area at the bottom.

<span style='color:slateblue'>"Finally!"</span> Stryx bent down and retrieved his cola, popping the top as we stood. He took a long sip of his drink, and then turned, looking for an open seat. Most seats were taken, tables crowded by groups of friends, the same going for most of the booths and benches in the room. <span style='color:slateblue'>There!</span> A booth with only one occupant, a female dragon that looked to be about the same age as him. Not wanting to miss his chance, he made a beeline for the booth, and slid into the seat opposite the girl.

<span style='color:slateblue'>"Hope yeh don't mind me joinin' yeh, most of the other seats seem t' already be taken."</span> Stryx guestured widely, indicated the hoards of other students in the cafeteria.

Zejalle tried to recover from the slight startle she had recieved when the strange pendragon had taken the seat across from her, jarring the table a bit. She had been so occupied with observing the crowded area that she hadn't even noticed his approach.
'Great, now my senses are failing me'
She thought grimly to herself, only partly sarcastic. A slender hand brushed aside her long hair which pooled around her seat in silky puddles.
<span style='color:gray'>"Oh, it's quite alright. I never turn down company. My name is Zejalle, Jalle for short."</span>
She gave him a smile and set her drink upon the table, the hand then snaking across it, waiting for the other's to grasp it in greeting.

  4. Sylverstryx extended his own hand, clasping Zejalle's own hand in a firm grip. He shook her hand lightly, nodding. At least the female was friendly enough, a lot of the 'dragons he met these days seemed to be the anti-social moody type. Not that was wrong, but it got a little dull talking to those kind of people all the time.

<span style='color:slateblue'>"I'm Sylverstryx, shorten it if yeh like.</span> He grinned. Pulling his hand back, he eyed the female infront of him.

<span style='color:slateblue'>"Yeh new to the school? Havn't seen yeh around here before, and I though I knew everyone..."</span> he trailed, off, taking another sip from his pop can.

  5. She clasped his hand, her grip between slight and strong. It was great to meet someone friendly so early on. If she hadn't run into someone coincidentally she would have gone off on a search. Solitiude didn't do well with her at all.
    <span style='color:Gray'>"Pleased to meet you, Stryx."</span>
She replied, a slight emphasis on his nicked-name. Her hand retreated and moved to support her chin, her hair sliding to the side smoothly as her head titled, the highlights shimmering in the new angle.
    <span style='color:Gray'>"Yes, I just arrived here. Doesn't seem too strange. That's a relief."</span>
Zejalle gave him a playful smile and eyed the room again. Only difference really was the population. It was quite crowded here. She returned her attention to the extravegant-looking male and gave a slight nod.
<span style='color:Gray'>"So, what is it you're studying here at Janardan?"</span>

  6. Stryx reached into one of the many pockets of his pants, producing a small chip. He held it at eye-level, flicking it between his fingers.

<span style='color:slateblue'>"I'm kinda a machina buff, I'm here studying Machina Technology and brushing up on my electrokenisis. This is a menlo chip, it's my life, menlo is, but it's the main reason I'm here. The better I understand machina, the better I can make my suits, and the more matches I'll win..."</span> Stryx paused, realizing he was getting off topic. With a wave of his free hand, he tucked the chip away safely.

<span style='color:slateblue'>"Sorry about that, didn't mean to run on like a retard."</span> He grinned, taking a quick slug of his drink before continueing. <span style='color:slateblue'>"So what are yeh doin' here? Surely a pretty girl like yerself wouldn't hang around with meself and the other trash here at the Janardan without a good reason."</span>

  7. Oh, the school was just so perfect! Could the cafeteria be anymore colder or crowded? The last school she went to wasn't so famous and she liked it that way. More space for her. Kien Amednu gave a slight frown to the third person who had just banged into her and without an apology or anything and ran straight out of the cafeteria. The guy is probably late for class or something. she thought. She went to the counter, a hot mug of tea in her grey-ish paw, and paid for her drink. Then the black and grey femme turned around, thinking of sitting somewhere where she could think, only to be greeted by the vast number of pendragons sitting in their own comfy places.

Oh, well. No alone time today. she thought. Her light brown eyes quickly and carefully scanned the area for any empty seats and came to rest upon two 'dragons. They might be having a private lunch or something. But they didn't look that intimate. Shrugging, she started for the two. Carefully avoiding the many students' feet and rushed pace. "I hope you don't mind me joining for a little while," Kien said as she reached the two and took a seat beside the long haired female and placed her steaming mug on the table. "The place is so packed I couldn't find any other empty seats except yours. Am I interupting anything?"

She lifted a grey paw, took the mug, and took a sip. The scalding hot liquid had cooled down faster than she expected. Not that she was surprised, the cafeteria was freezing! Then she looked up at the two and smiled, hoping they would let her stay for a while until she finished her drink and get her scheduel fixed (It was ripped to a few pieces by accident a few hours earlier).

She eyed the chip curiously, herself not much for technology. She was not clueless about the matter, but when it came to complicated things, someone would have to give her a lesson or two. She shook her head slightly when he berated himself, a small smile twinging her glossed-lips.
<span style='color:Gray'>"Oh no, don't apologize! It's nice to meet someone so engaged about their trade."</span>
The compliment did not cause any color to twinge her face, but that didn't mean she was vain or disregarding. A small laugh tinkled through the air and she gestured with her hand, waving it from him to the rest of the cafeteria.
<span style='color:Gray'>"Trash? I don't see any recognizable trash around here. But to answer your question: I needed a change in setting. Plus, there wasn't much challenge in my trade. It wasn't too interesting."</span>
She said matter-of-factly, her attention turning suddenly the the female coming towards them. Jalle put on a welcoming smile and slid down the booth a bit, greeting the new potention friend.
<span style='color:Gray'>"Not at all. I'm Zejalle and this here is Stryx."</span>
She gave him a small wink, her hand gesturing towards him them towards the other, waiting for a handshake yet again.

  9. <span style='color:purple'>"Flirting again Stryx? I thought we would have learned a lesson after last weeks episode in Machina technology class...</span>

The female said rather coldly. She was black and red mainly but for a white star on her cheek and white paws. Her eyes were greenish grey and framed by black glasses. She had long wavy brown hair, and it was in ringlets. She dressed in full goth gear, strappy pants and all. On her head was a black hat with white eyes, a zig-zag tail, and little white skulls on the earflaps. Classic look for her.

She was a pure Machina major, she had friends who were in on the Menlo game though...She herself had a suit that was definatly above average. She had gotten it off of a young Menlo expert by the name of Cuesanu Olsenu for a undisclosed price. She had seen Stryx in her Classes multiple times. Machina was her life, she could draw really well too though, making her have a slight part-time job. She smirked evilly

<span style='color:purple'>"Course you most likely forgot that already didn't you?"</span>

  10. Stryx smiled to the female that had just slid into the seat beside Jalle, offering up a small nod. He was about to ask her her name, when he was cut off by another voice. The amphibious 'dragon looked over sharply, hearing the pseudo-familiar voice. His eyes narrowed slightly, but his smile never left his face as he addressed the younger pendragon.

<span style='color:slateblue'>"Nekhalla, right?"</span> He couldn't help the small twinge of annoyance that found it's way into his voice. <span style='color:slateblue'>"I don't see any flirting here. I'm just enjoying the company of some pretty girls, that's all."</span> He grinned widely, flashing a wink at the two females opposite him.

He was slightly put off by the other girls 'goth' attire. He liked black, and occasionally indulged in the style himself (he happened to be wearing his favorite long sleeved shirt with buckles running down the sleeves and chest) but he was a little freaked out by the hat. <span style='color:slateblue'>Goth nerd.</span> Stryx shouldn't really have been dissing her clothing, his own attire was mainly black. Tight jeans, his shirt, a black and red bandanna and his lucky goggles accross his brow, the red tinted glass catching the light. Still, Stryx perfered not to label his style.

<span style='color:slateblue'>"Why don't yeh join us Nekkie, take a seat."</span> He purposely put a strain on the make-shift nickname, his grin turning into a cheesy smile.

  11. Kien was relieved when the female welcomed her. Most 'dragons she met weren't very friendly. Her smile still remained on her face as she shook Zejalle's paw and nodded back to Stryx. "Pleased to meet you both." she said. She was about to introduce herself when another voice interupted.

She looked over at the new comer, liking her black, red, and white coating. But not the crazy looking hat on top of her head. The female's voice was cold and Kien didn't like that. She shifted a little on her seat and watched as Stryx talked, winked and invited his friend to sit. She smiled a little at the new comer, wondering if she should get back to pasting up her shredded schedule or take a slow drink of her coffee and enjoy this encounter.

Dyvx walked into the cafeteria, desperatley thirsty. He soon ended up with a small juice box which was all the cafeteriz had left today. Yesterday all they had left for him was a cresant and the dday before that it was a plastic fork.

But, Dyvx could see why there was nothing left, the cafeteria was stuffed! There was literally only one spot where he could sit and what a surprise, it was where Stryx and Nekkie and Kien and Jalle all were sitting 'happily' together. He sat next to the male and then said a little nervously

<font color="maroon"> Hullo, I'm Dyvx. This cafeteria is so full that this was literally the only seat free, mind if I join you, I probably won't be here long...</font> He said indicating the tiny juice box.

Dyvx wasn't really hungary anyway he had spent his lunch off at the teacher's lounge managing to swipe a cup of good tasting coffee and some sort of delicious sandwich.

  13. Nekhalla raised an eyebrow at the nickname she decided to take a seat. Her bag seemed rather overstuffed as usual. She never seemed to go anywhere without several books, a sketch pad, and colored penciels. All of which were stuffed in one saddle bag making it rather bulky. She nodded at the other girls and looked at Dyvx

    <span style='color:purple'>"Welcome to the table..."</span>

Nekhalla straightened her 'freaky looking' hat that everyone seemed to be staring at.

    <span style='color:purple'>"What? You've never seen an OMG before?"</span>

She said sarcastically...She knew she was the only one that had one, it was her signiture hat that her Grandpa had sent back to Rameth-lehi during the war on Earth. He died there, and the only things she had to remember him by were the three hats he sent her, this one was the last one and her favorite.

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
    <table class=ooc><tr><td> :D hehe my hat pwn's all your hats! MUAHAHA</td></tr></table>

  14. She rose an eyebrow at Stryx' attitude toward Nekhalla and just shrugged. It seemed strained on both sides.
The booth was becoming rather crowded, and rather quickly. It wasn't that she minded, though. She gave a friendly smile to Dvyx and offered him a nod, along with her name:
"Zejalle." Then took a sip from her cup, the concoction melted a bit.
Jalle only smirked at Nekhalla's comment, a hand running through her loose hair.
"I like it." She offered. It was always cool to see unique things, especially in a world full of trends.
Jalle crossed her legs, right over left to give the others more room. The booth wasn't all that large and her hair was practically overflowing into other people's laps. A slender hand mussed with it again, this time moving it over her shoulder.

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class=ooc><tr><td>I know it pwn's my hat  Sorry for the shortness >.></td></tr></table>

  15. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class=ooc><tr><td>Tis a neat hat, but my anti-crazy irl hat is beeeeeeettah! @.<</td></tr></table>

Stryx sighed, leaning back against the seat, resting his arms accross the back of the booth. He had finished his pop, and now the booth was getting a little crowded. Stryx was starting to feel a little claustrophobic, although in the cold cafe' a group of warm bodies nearby was always a plus. He wouldn't mind getting outside, finding a nice grassy spot in the courtyard to lay down, bask in the sun for a while. However, it would be rude to just leave (not that manners had stopped him before, but there were three girls). Sylverstryx, being your average male, decided it would be best to 'keep the ladies company', at least until they all finished their drinks.

The appearance of Nekhalla hadn't really bothered Stryx that much, he was just fooling around. He didn't really have anything against her, she was a Machina whiz like himself, and anyone who was into Machina Tech was okay in his books.

So, resigned to staying, he settled down for the wait. He began playing with the bioluminescent fins on his elbows, making them slowly shift through the color spectrum; red to purple, then cycling through again. The fins cast a light glow over the table and booth directly infront and around him, rainbow reflections glinting off his (now empty) metal popcan.

  16. Violet orbs gazed around the room, her tail wrapping absent-mindedly around her waist and legs. Chiara drifted casually around the room, padded feet not making a sound. She looked rather lost, though she tried hard to hide it. Finally seeing a table she thought worthwhile, she advanced towards it, but stopped halfway. She realized they were not the type she normally hung around with. They were Valley Girls. Preppy little things that only gossiped behind one's back.

She decided to give up on trying to make some friends. Seating herself against the wall, she pulled a black book from her navy blue bookbag.. Dust eminated from it, but she seemed not to notice. She flipped through a few pages, then stopped.
    Chapter I: Boring.
She flipped through a few more, as she stiffled a yawn.
Chapter II: Even more. God this is so F.. Friggen retarded.

  17. Being easily distracted by shiny things and things that change color, Nekhalla's eyes went to the pop can. Someone has just a tiny bit of ADD. She eventally picked it up and read the the amount of sugar in it.

<span style='color:purple'>"Wow...More sugar in this thing then the cookie I ate last period."</span>

She smirked. She then noticed the girl standing against the wall. She seemed to meet Nekhalla's standards of dress so she snapped her fingers and pointed at the girl.

    <span style='color:purple'>"You! Against the wall! Come sit!"</span>

She smiled, hopefully this one was not a poser. Nekhalla hated posers, almost as much as she hated preps. She found no point in prep culture, if your going to insult someone, do it to their face. Poser's annoyed her just because they exist and think their something. She had been known to beat people senseless for annoying her. So most people tended to avoid annoying her in anyway.

  18. Chiara was mid-way through Chapter III when she heard some one snap their fingers. Being the curious one, she raised her gaze from the book to find where the noise came from. Only then, she realized that the snap was directed at her, from a 'dragon sitting at a nearby table.
She seems nice. It's worth a try, even if she isn't.
She gave a shy nod, put her black book away and picked-up her bookbag. Walking over, she noticed that the table had many other occupants and they all seemed friendly. Or so she hoped.

    <span style='color:3399FF'>Uhm.. Hey.</span>

She cast a friendly smile towards everyone. Though she was invited to sit, she kept standing. She was just trying to find out what they were all talking about.
