  1. Day: 5
    Month: Dyo
    Year: 81378

Dragging thick, heavy wings along the sand, Suffer lagged with every step. Her rich, downy white fur, as pure and spotless as it was before, was now a tangled mess of sand and sweat. Just a pup, alone again. If only her sister was around...
But no, best not to dwell on "if onlys". This was a cruel, cruel world as she lingered on, for what felt like miles but was merely the overexageration of a young pup mind...
Nevertheless, she was growing weaker, until finally she could take it no longer and sat, exhausted, on the blazing sand, shielding the sun's harsh rays with her thick, feathered wings, and watched the light flood through them, making them seem unbearably white...

<OOC: everyone welcome, can go anywhere from here>

  2. Paush was taking an adventure...He being a Jackel Pendragon, a rare subcatgory of pendragon was walking thru the Tmu Desert. He loved the desert. He suddenly noticed the young pendragon and nudged her with his nose, his glowing red eyes, in their whiteless serenity, showed no emotion. He then picked the pup up and started to walk in the direction that he knew very well...

"Wow she's kinda heavy...nah...It's most likely these old bones of mine."

    He thought.

  3. Suffer writhed, yelping. She was startled out of her mind, and when she hit the earth with a soft thump she turned around, and glared...

Surprised, she took of running a few paces, then spun around and declared, "I'm not afraid of you!", although she clearly was...

  4. Paush held up his paws in surprise

"Well I didn't see that coming! I'm here to help, this is one of my favorite places and I was going to take you to the nearest oasis."

He usually was prepared for everything being a master seer. He also was a master of dark arts. his red eyes glowed slightly. his short black fur shimmered in the sunlight.

  5. She gave him an awkward glance, as if delving deeper than the surface, but it seemed her eyes would lose focus and she'd shake her head violently to regain her train of vision...she perked her large ears up; insanely big for a small pup like herself, and asked suspicously "How do I know I can trust you?" with a surprisingly mature demeanor. She was shockingly attractive for a little pup, with a certain allure about her that made one simply want to grab her and hold her like a cherished toy. She held her wings loosely to her back and gave the older 'dragon a look of defiance that completely overwhelmed even herself, be the shy, sweet child as she was. But even with her outward semblance of aggression, she had some sort of pleading air about her, that yearned for companionship and help...somewhere deep within those ice blue eyes she was begging for help and kissing his feet, just to be pointed in the general area of some salvation.

  6. He laughed

"The graders do is that enough? They trust me but I don't trust them. You can trust me I would never hurt anyone unless they did something to harm this world."

He smiled and held out a paw his jackel ears looking quite strange for a pendragon. He had a beautiful headress on, egyption looking like a pharohs. His short black fur made him adapt for the desert. He was trained to go long periods without water so he did not carry a water carrier or anything like that.

  7. She gave him another look, and gave up..."Fine...show me where to go" She trotted right up to him and sat a few paces ahead of him, looking sullen. She fixed her unusual eyes to the sand and spread out her wings. "How far is this place, anyhow? And what are you doing out here all alone?"

  8. he laughed

"Full of questions aren't we? okay the oasis is just two sand dunes away and why am I here...why in here one of my many homes is. I am a Jackel Pendragon. The last of my kind there are none of us left...save me..."

He smiled and started to walk toward the nearest sand dune and ran to the top

"Just one sand dune after this one and you shall see the oasis."

  9. She followed along, limping slowly. Her thick, white fur reflected the sunlight, making it glow on it's own accord, it seemed. She was not overly hot, just tired. Tired of being alone, of being lost, of walking forever on, looking but never finding.

She lagged behind, but suddenly found a burst of energy and shot forward, refusing to fall behind such a strange 'dragon, of whom she was not entirely sure if he'd stop for her...she ran up to his side and skidded a bit on the sand, kicking it up into the air...suddenly she had a feeling that the 'dragon was a quiet one, who preferred no questions asked, but she had one more, "Where did your people go?"

  10. He sighed

"We died off mainly for we didn't realize how fragile life was, I was young when it happened, a mass death came, a plague of sorts. and those who were left comited mass sucide, leaving me and my Chavvor. My mother and father died from the plague for some odd reason I was immune to it. I started to travel, crying out for a parental figure, I never found one until I met an old pendragon who's name I have forgotten for after 68,000 years you forget even the important stuff. Any way, he took me in as his son and started to teach me seeing and the dark arts. I was quite good at them it being in my blood. He soon fadded into Fromaia when I was only 15000 and I became a wandering seer, I learned much from the people I met. Many of them taught me more dark arts and their personal spells I was consumed by them...and seeing...soon I was one of the most powerful seers and dark artists. The Graders seek me for my arts, I hate the graders...their grading system is painful for the young ones luckily I never had to go thru it. I lived in the desert, away from all of that..."

He looked straight at the sun with his pupil-less, white-less red eyes.

"I swear I will find another, If I survived another must have also"

    he thought to himself

  11. She gave him a sad look, and replied, "I know there is one you are searching for, thus will you find one" in a voice not her own and her eye colour shifted from an intense, rich blue to a shocking white. Suddenly, she shook her head, and looked at him with a calm look as if nothing at all had happened. She said, "Gosh, aren't we there yet?" in a whiney, childish voice, differing completely with the former dark, unusual voice. "I sure am thirsty...and there's sand sticking between my toes" looking mournfully down at her feet.

  12. He laughed

"All most ,little one, almost just over this lump of sand"

He smiled he liked her she was fisty just like he was when he was kid. He hoped she was right.

  13. The pup looked at him and said, "you are very wise. tell me something I don't know" as they mounted the small hill. The question was peculiar, taking in or out of context. She seemed to have some secret wisedom, some higher being whispering secrets of lost time and space into her ear. The look in her eyes spoke of a time long ago, and time that has not yet passed. The yearning for his answer seemed to come straight from her soul, and she smiled a bit, feeling comfortable around this new stranger.

  14. There was lots he knew and there was much that he didn't know so he figured he would talk a little about himself...for that was something barely anyone knew.

"Well for starters I'm one of the oldest pendragons in the land, As old as some of the Graders."

He smiled he did not look that old because of the kind of pendragon he was.

"I'm also an Anubial Pendragon, a race long since left this world I am the last and I search to see if there are others of my kind."

his smile drifted to a frown remembering the plague that left his city in the desert in ruins. Dead pendragons littered the streets. And him with his abnormal eyes, living in the pain of loss, of not only his wings, but his whole family. Who only he knew the names of, and would tell noone. He was tall and his short hair shimmered in the light, his paws were covered in scars, his paw print was a mess if you looked at it. He was a mess on the inside.

  15. She looked at him intently, trying to understand every word as it was...
    Suddenly, she yelped.
"Oh my, how grand!" For below, low and behold, was the Oasis of which he spoke, and it was beautiful...A rich blue lake surrounded by lush forrestry, and plam trees that seemed to extend for miles into the open sky...this was obviously no ordinary Oasis, but one that involved a magical upkeep. She trotted a little more quickly, and she said to him, "You know, I am alone now too." And a deep feeling was overcome...
    A feeling of death...
    Then, of love...
    Then, of mourning...
    Then, of comfort...
Then, of loss...and the loss was the most recent, and seemed to linger in the air...visions of rain falling and cries of help unanswered... "Sister, Sister" the cries proclaim, "Woe, where are you love?" Something deep. Something dark surrounded this pup like a mystery fog that never cleared. Suffer, however, smiled at him, one that said there was something she could relate too, and perhaps, perhaps...they were not alone at all...

  16. He nodded.

"I felt that, I am a seer...I saw that you had suffered a loss of a loved one...someone very dear...I can not say much but one day you may see them again. Trust me."

He sprinted a smile on his face, this oasis used to be his favorite spot when he was a kid. They used to play games in the forests, and swim in the waters. He was a mistief maker that drove alot of people nuts. Even for being skrawny he made up for it in brains

  17. She looks at him, shamefully, but says nothing...quietly walking on until reaching the Oasis, and the small shore of the sweet sweet pool. The pool was soft and refreshing, and greatly lessened her thirst, to the point where she was certain she would not be needed another drink for a long while yet, slowly discoverng that this was no ordinary pool, but one that required of you no more water or food for the remainder of your journey, a special spell cast upon it ages ago by a weary wizard who pitied lost travellers. She was quiet for what seemed like hours, but was only several minutes...then, she said...I have a magic trick to show you....

She sat on her haunches, extending her forearms out, palms facing each other, and her eyes clouded over, not white, but pale, and between her palms a small glowing orb appeared, white and fantastic, brilliant and to beautiful to be looked upon, but tempted one to. The sweetness eminating from it was almost unbearable...suddenly in a flash it dissappeared...

The pup sighed, "It's the only trick I know. I'm an alchemist, Didja know?" SHe mispronounced "Alchemist"....making it sound more like "Allshemist", but there was some power in her words, that spoke of hers and one greater then her, one far away but very close...

  18. Paush nodded.
"Lovely trick! Thats an interesting profession...I never had time to learn that art...My mind was set on the dark arts of my kind...not to mention seeing, If my kind were still alive I would have been a high priest or something."

He sighed, then shook his head.

"I shouldn't dwell in the past I know, but I can't help it, I miss my family, I know only of two twins, but I have never met them I wish I could mayber they know something about my kind. That would be grand."

He smiled and pet the Suffer as to show he loved the trick. Alchemy was dieing in his opinon it was good to see young blood in the profession.

  19. Suffer looked pleased...her little magic trick was one she was quite proud of...because it was one she had known her entire life, and with each year the orb grew bigger and faint lines, map-like, grew on them. She was very comfortable around this pendragon, he seemed wise and familiar...

Soon she began to sink into his thoughts, memories of long ago, and she was lost in their wonder. It was beauty, and she began to dance in her mind to the sweet music and stories of long ago...she avoided the darkness, she could feel it, heavy and cold, like ice lost in a frosty sea.

  20. Paush laid back

"Ooooo...my old bones...My age always seems to catch up with me when I'm most relaxed."

He kicked his feet out and let the sun warm him...it felt good. He had so much riding on his mind...to just lay back and think felt good. He began to remember playing at this oasis when he was little.

He laughed at memories of playing Gods and Goddesses, thinking of themselves higher then they really were. A small tear came to his eye as he thought of the fact he would never see anyone play that again as the game had been lost.
