Tessera 15, 81377 Demshi sat at the edge of the bough exstending over the white sand beach. A sigh escaped his small weak chest as he jumped from his perch. His paws sunk in the coarse sand as he bounded over to the water that was lazily laping at the shore. Plunging his head into the water he smiled to himself and began to swim deeper into the blue sea. He loved this part of his day. Sun, sand, and salty blue water was all he needed for now. His small stature made it hard to make friends, as well as his color that was more commen in women folk. Deep purple, he loved it but no other boys his age did. He let his mind wander freely at he swam twards the horizon.
Occ: hey, mind if I join? ^^ I like to enter...dramatically! But u knows that. Wrathea's mind was fading; nothing short of a hard knock could cure him now. The water was deep, relaxing almost, and that was dangerous. He slipped farther off the small piece of drift wood that had been bobbing merrily with the tide. Salt water had more buoyancy, right? Maybe if he stopped holding on then maybe, then maybe he could just...float? He shook his light blue head that seemed to reflect the waters surfaceÂ…which was at the moment, mesmerizing, and light dancing crazily off the extraordinary clear water. No, that would lead toÂ…he gulped suddenly. Was he going to die out here? He looked outwards, there was an island in the distance, and he wouldnÂ’t make it in time. He gasped as something hit the side of him underneath, pulling him under the warm water, something that was oddly purple. He was pulled under too quickly for him to examine the thing that had knocked him off his floatation device. Salt water filled his mouth and nose, as he struggled with the shock, and the fact that he had been trying to breath while under the water. Too bad he didnÂ’t know how to swim! The water pulled him under, dragging him roughly down. Wrathea struggled vainly, using the last of his strength foolishly as he panicked. He felt the burning sensation in his throat, a burn that told him if he didnÂ’t breath oxygen soon he die. He breathed in and everything faded out of proportion
occ: Hey Guys ^_^'' Ruen made his way out of the forest to a beach, he saw the sun getting ready to set. The sand was crystal white, his paws soaked into it like a glove as he made his ways toward the water. The sun hit his face, making him warm for the last minuets of the day. He slowly made his way out to the water and stepped into it. His wing spout out as he was suprised at how cold it was. his body shivered and quickly went knumb. He swam out towards the horizon, to the left of him, he noticed there was an empty raft of some sort, and water spouting out right next to it. He quickly went to his senses and swam towards the raft. He took a deep breath and went down to see what the comotion was. He saw two blurry colors and went back up to the surface, his face was now wet. He could barely feel his body anymore. The only thing he could feel was his body shaking from how cold it was. He took another deep breath as he felt himself seep underwater. His eyes still opened, he tried to gasp for air, but couldn't swim back to the surface. He blew out, but realized that that would make him sink even more than what he was. He kicked as hard as he could feel. He slowly started getting closer to the surface. He felt dizzy, suddenly, not knowing where anything was. Which direction was which or how far away from the coast he was. He made his way towards the blurs of colours and bumped into one of them on accident, he quickly floated to the surface and took a deep breath, the waves were picking up and the sun was down, the sky was still slightly pink, but it was getting dark fast.
Demshi bumped some form that was now in the water near him and dove again to seek out the one who had fallen from the raft. How do these 'dragons keep ending up drowning in these waters? he asked himself as his keen eyes sought out for some sign of the sinking 'dragon. HE cought a glint from one of its soft eyes and swam deeper, slowly loosing breath. He had to get this dragon soon or they both would die. Sudenly wet fur was in his face. He opend his mouth and firmly grasped the form below him and started to swim as best he could with his weak limbs. When he finally broke through to the surface the sun had finished setting and the night around him was quiet save his heavy breathing as he padled to shore.
Ruen swam towards shore, following the purple blur, not knowing what it was, he didn't even know if it would lead him to safety. That didn't really madder, as long as he wouldn't feel as cold as he did. His body felt heavy and like it was sinking. The stars were reveiling themselves from behind the clouds above, two bright moons were aswell, one green, the other red. He finally made his way to shore, he let himself fall onto the sand, the waters pushed up against his body, letting him float for a moment, then hit the sand once more. It was sticking to his body as he lain there, not moving because he had felt so heavy. His eyes seemed to burn alittle from the salt. He looked at the blurs infront of him. Rubbing his eyes, he saw two shapes, both of them separate. He opened his eyes wider, but couldn't hold on any longer, he closed his eyes once more as everything went black.
Demshi hurried to shore and draged the still unconsous form through the sand. When he had cleared the waves he stoped and looked over the fallen 'dragon to see best how to revive him. The other 'dragon seemed to be alright, just blacked out. He put his hands on the chest of the form he had draged from the water and pushed down firmly. Water began to spue out of his mouth and so Demshi stoped and tried to help the male in anyway he could.
Clear bright violet eyes opened suddenly as a strange pressure eased the pain in his chest. Wrathea peered up finding a strange and blurred purple thing hovering above him. His throat felt tight, constricted in pain, the tiny knot filled with tears or salt water, but he was sure that it was the latter. Coughing he tried to get up, but couldn't, the pain in his chest hurt too badly for such a strainuous activity. What had happened out there? It was dark out now; the sun had sunk behind the horizon. Though his memory was zilch, he couldn't help trying to recall what had happened though it made his head hurt violetly. Yet he had been dressed, his forehead was bandaged; his right paws in front as well. Â A thick cover had been laid over his body, warm and content he was to lay there as the blurry purple thing suddenly gave way to a face, a face of a young pendragon looking down somewhat earnestly. Wrathea could feel the heat of a fire glowing in the distance, the stars above twinkling brightly through the blackness of the skies thin film. He focused now on the youth beside him, "You saved me" He couldn't help but smile with gratitude, "YouÂ’re a hero, boy," The 'dragon tried too sitting up and when he couldn't relax against the pillow like leaves that had been left for his head. Sighing he tried with more dignity to speak like an elder, for the boy must have been only ten, "who are you, where are your parents?" He paused shifting comfortably in his makeshift bed, lifting a tired hand to fling against his face, "What time is it?" he groaned in pain again, looked into the boys eyes and waited.
OOC: *Falls in with a loud crash* Dancing in and out of the waves came a lithe figure. It blended almost perfectly with the sand of the tropical beach. It turned out to be a young female without a care in the world. Her fore paws were alight with blue flames that flickered just as merrily as her mood. The cropped mane along her neck was just as white as her body and the bangs that fluttered across her face blended into a darker blue at the tips. Wolf-like tail streamed out behind her form as she slowed to a light skip. As she got closer to the small group down the beach, they could probably make out the scar along her left shoulder. What was utterly stunning, however, was the pair of wings that hovered over her back almost magically. They looked about half grown. The perky female suddenly caught sight of the group's trouble and stared for a moment before rushing over in a flurry of sand. The purple male looked about her age and she stared at him in an odd manner before looking over to the one laying a little apart from the group. Padding slowly over, she placed a paw on his shoulder. Her voice was somewhat high but cheerfull. It held a note of concern as she shook him a little in an attempt to wake him. Hey. Hey wake up would ya? Please? Don't be dead...
Ruen moved slightly, his body sore from the cold. His body was still wet. He looked infront of him and saw a female. Â He looked at her and shivered. Â He felt his head with his wrist. Â His eyes were both red for the moment. What..? What happened? He shook his head alittle and looked at her. He smiled alittle and looked at her. He kept whispering to himself, hardly able to make himself out. His mind was racing, words went through his mind that didn't make any sense. Â His nose was very wet. He let out a little sneeze and looked at her blushing. Do you have something to drink? Or..anything warm? He looked over to the other two over next to them. He remembered what he was doing. I saw two things in the water, splashing and I thaught someone was drowning and so I swam out there to see what happened. I hope they are alright... He stood to his feet and walked over to the other pendragons.
"I think this guy will be alright, and i'm fine" Demshi said, jesturing to the 'dragon behind him, to the 'dragon who had regaind consiousness when a female 'dragon had steped out of the forest. She looked about Demshi's age and seemed kind enough. "Who are all of you?" What was going on? He had never seen so many 'dragons on this beach at a time. He let a sigh escape his small chest and wondered what was happoening to his beloved beach, his solitude. Oh well, he thought turning his atention back to the new comers. They all have come for a reason, now lets just see what that reason is. "Why are you here?"
The cheery female sighed in relief as the male awoke. Sitting herself down infront of him, she grinned. Tail swished along the sand making a minature flat plain. I thought you were done for. You got me worried. She tilted her head towards the left. The female was like a overgrown puppy. The flames 'pon her legs flickered cheerfully as she giggled at him. Reaching inside the bag she carried, she handed him a bottle of water. Here ya go.
Wrathea grimaced slightly, the 'dragons that went and came were confusing him. he sat up rather painfully, now acknowledging the somewhat "happy" female and the other male pendragon that seemed just as lost as he was. "yes, who is every one?" he voiced his thoughts somewhat indelicately though he did not notice. he rubbed a calloused hand over his face, was he dreaming? "y-you are who?" he spoke groggily, yawning quite unexpectedly. He stared at all of them, feeling slightly frustrated, and stupidly unfocused, ignoring every body else’s questions he spoke roughly, "I will start bye saying that my name is Wrathea. I was thrown overboard in a storm and now I’m practically stranded on this island with you, though I am not ungrateful that you saved my life,’ he added quickly, looking into the purple ones eyes, “this is the last place I need to be right now." he glared sleepily at the newcomers, waiting for them to voice the same courtesy, then at the purple 'dragon who had tended to his wounds, expecting this also from him as well.
Ruen let his midnight blue fur ruffle in the small breeze trying to get by. Then looked around. He gathered wood that was laying near the beach, by the forest. He grabbed as much as he could carry and placed it in a pile then lit it with two flints. The night was dark, the fire was slightly lighting everyone's faces. He looked to the small crowd of people. My name is Ruen Lecithin. I am a wanderer. I was just trying to look for something to eat or at least drink, and thanks to this lovely female over here, I have my water. But I was rather curious as to why there would be splashing in the water. I was worried because I noticed one of them was a pendragon, so I went to my insincts and tried to help, only making matters worse. Ruen heard the water spashing upon the rocks and making its way through every grain of sand. Â He let out a small yawn and took a sip from the water. It was refreshing to feel every last cold drop make its way through his body. So what about the rest of you? (Meep! Sorry so short >_<)
Demshi listend to each of them intently, wondering if they would need a place to stay. He decided he would ask after he introduced himself. I am Demshi. I live near here and i come here to watch the sun set. Now that we all know eachother a bit better, do any of you need a place to stay the night.... or for a while. my house is in that direction and it wouldn't take long to get there and you two could recoop from your hard night. Â Â He said, pointing to the two who he had saved from the oceans grasp. The wind was picking up and the night was cooling a great deal. Demshi shiverd and began to walk tward the forest. He could just make out the hash lines of his cabin between the trees but hesitated. coming?
Moonbrook hung back and listened to each of their stories intently. All were intriguing and she smiled at them once more. Tail swished across the sand as she looked up to the stars that cast their faint light across the group. Hybrid gold and blue orbs seemed to be twinkling just as the stars as she adjusted her postition to a more comfortable one. She seemed more calm now as she nodded to everyone. Nice to meet you guys. I'm Moonbrook but you guys can make up a nickname. I have a whole load of them.
Ruen walked in the same direction that Demshi was walking. He had to jog a little to catch up. He nodded to him, he turned and looked to the other two, wondering if they would come as well. He was hungry, his stomach was grawling and he walked towards the forest as well as Demshi. Are you guys coming or do you have a better idea? Ruen sighed as he continued walking. (I dont know what elece to write!!! >_< Sorry!
"Well it would be nice if I could walk." Wrathea spoke half-heartedly, not that it mattered. The pale china blue dragon shook his head, the other dude had rescued him, yet would leave him out in the cold, dark...his heart thudding curiously the 'dragon bent over, the flimsy blanket falling to the ground to reveal the bandages around his middle, paws and head. He grinned rather sheepishly as he looked around at all who were present, the fire seemed to grow dimmer, the cold settled in. sighing he turned away trying to push himself up. His head felt like a train wreck, smashed into a pulp. Groaning as he did so, feeling feverish and weaker then before... Sighing more heavily he felt himself blush in embarrassment at his weakness. "Could some one carry me." his mumbled words were almost inaudible.
No need to be embarrassed, love. Demshi said as he walked over to the still laying form of Wrathea. He bent and grasped Wrathea's hands and put them over his weak shoulders, lifting him up carefully before he fell once again. The fall didnÂ’t hurt him nearly as much as the embarrassment of showing every one just how weak he was. He tried again unsuccessfully. Could I get some help here. He asked, blushing to a deep crimson under his dark coat. How did I even get him out of the water? He asked himself. This would be interesting. This was nice though, having Wrathea on top of him. The warmth of his body on his back. He would have to try and get in this position with him again.
OOC: O_O...*Is scared of Dempshi* Moonbrook jumped to her feet at the sight of the others leaving. She was still in her bipedial, or wolf form, as she trotted off after them Her paws sunk into the still warm sand and she sighed. It was lovely being out here with her new, well she couldn't excatly say friends... aquaitances worked. Hybrid orbs found themselves staring up at the heavens again. She began to wonder and soon was lost in her thoughts. Suddenly hearing a embarrased plea from Dempshi, Moonbrook turned and smiled. Transforming into her twolegged form, she hopped once and ran over. Gathering up Wrathea's other arm, she too draped it over her shoulder and nodded. Good?
occ: LOL she wanted him to be dui! ya know...not going to reveal plot line that me and juju worked out...just yet... "Thank you!" wrathea gushed with warmth, his face red as he gazed at the pretty female feeling oddly elated, sweaty and it was hard to breathe as she gripped his arm. Though...as he stared to his left and the purple male 'dragon he felt odd, there was something strange about him, but he shook it off. The blanket was left behind, the fire still burning dangerously on the leaf filled ground. Obviously Demshi did not know how to make a fire very well, Wrathea thought fearfully, picturing the forest ablaze in his pessimist ways. He started to wonder why he had ever jumped off the ship, when they had been so kind to him. Oh yeah, it was to save another ‘dragons life, that hadn’t worked out so well, he concluded, since he didn’t know how to swim any way. God he was smart! And now he was stuck here, with these strange ‘dragons and the stranger island that was Caribbean like though had a forest wet like climate. Who knew what other beasts were lurking in the forage, in the ocean, in the house. His throat was still constricted as they all made there way to the “house", though he was not sure from what exactly. As they both dragged him along through the forest his feet itched after being dragged through all the pine needles that the layered the dirt floor. The moon could be seen fleetingly through the tall oaks as they moved onwards, the stars beckoning and warning all at once. Suddenly after several minutes they came to a clearing, the lush green grass soft beneath his toes. There was a bright light in the distance. Wrathea’s eyes widened as he looked down the hill that seemed to stretch for miles, a city beyond the nearest trees glowing with thousands of lights in the distance, he could see the long stretch of shoreline, the city limits almost reaching it. “Where the hell are we?" he looked away from the spectacular view that was miles away, “do you live down there?"
