37th, Tria 81379 After coming from the office, Jyr made his way towards the dormitory building. He slowly walked down the hallway. He looks down into his hand where he held a piece of paper. In this paper was the scribbled number: 0955. Looking at each door as he passes by, walking down the hallway. He counted off the doors 724....725....
Charater: Leehara Sislon Wearing: Black Halter-top, Black jeans, street boots, studded belt. Leehara was walking down the hallway aimlessly, something she didn't usually do. Her bangs were thick and hung over her eyes. she heard a whisp of a thought...it seemed like counting, but she couldn't tell, it wasn't very focused. She was trying to 'feel' where the thought was comming from, but in the process she managed to bump into another 'dragon. "oh, sorry!" She exclaimed, "I didn't see you! Sorry again," She continued to apologize.
With the bump he lost his concentration and the bag he was hovering fell to the floor and he felt a little disoriented which is what usually happened when he lost his concentration on somethign heavy. He looked up at the ceiling that was spinning above his head and fell down, barely sticking his arms out to stop hishead from slamming into the ground. He heard a voice: "oh, sorry!" "I didn't see you! Sorry again," Everything snapped back into perspective and like a brick to the face he realized that he was staring at a dark pendragon in black clothing. He shook his head with a low rumble from the vocal areas of his neck and he slowly got up. He looked around for his bag and with a flick of his wrist it slid to his feet. He looked at her bangs and how they hung over her eyes and knew there was something special about her, though he could not place it. He could feel her mind was strong. Telepathy would be like trying to pass through a brick wall, which I have only managed to do a few times. he thought sarcastically. "But uh, as a plus you may want to try trimming those bangs. They look good, but they're a bit restricting don't you think?" He said with a twinge of a smile. He liked this place more than he wanted to admit...
Leehara shifted uneasily. "I would...but then I wouldn't be able to go an where," It was an honest answer, not the whole truth, but that was okay. She didn't have the heart to tell him that there were demons in the school. Leehara made an attempt to hide her wings as much as possible in the dark cloud that surrounded her. "My name is Leehara, call me Leah," She paused then added "The lady at the front desk might have told you about me, warned you or something, I think she's bent on making sure I have a miserable time here," She looked at him. His bag floating behind him. Telekenetic, probably Anuban blood, She thought also noting his wolfish appearence.
"Well it isn't my department to cut your hair...or for that matter listen to what some low-grade at the secretary's office tells me." he said grinning a bit "I'm Jyr. Good to meet you, Leah." he said, extending his right hand, using his left with a flick to bring the bag up to shoulder level.
Leah took it. Immeadiatly she bean to see flashes of memories. Being dumped on a doorstep, living on the streets, cheating at card games and many others. All through out she felt an immense pain and disorientation. She let go as if his hand was scalding hot. She promptly fell limp to the ground. Shit She thought, then she felt his bewilderment. {I should probably explain} Her thoughts snaking into his mind, {Just not here, give me a few seconds} She counted to ten and blinked. Then she realized that her bangs were no longer coverin her eyes. Oh shit, She thought and then she began apologizing incestantly all the while covering her eyes.
Sah`Dja meandered her way through the dormitory hall, a hand idly resting on the pink satchel strapped to her waist – that bright flare of color the only thing worn – and a clipboard in hand on the other side swayed opposite her stride. Rather than bother with clothing, her rich golden fur and russet wing feathers received the extra bit of care. Her mind idled on an acquaintance she hoped to be in his dorm. Poor guy, she should have gone easier on him. Hopefully a racket ball rematch would fix that. Green eyes blink to the pair standing in the hallway. Hmmm, I don’t recall seeing him around. A small, thoughtful grin crept to Sah`Dja’s lips as she paused in Jyr’s shadow. Might be a good opportunity. “Hey there! Are you new here?" After which, a warm smile and polite nod was offered to Leah, “Don’t think I’ve really met you before...either." Sah`Dja blinked at the sudden change between the two. Oh boy, bad timing again.
Jyr shook her hand and felt his memories being accessed like files in a computer. Then, she let go and fell to the ground. He looked at her alarmingly. He waited ten seconds and he could hear her cursing thoughts and that she was debating to herself, though he couldn't tell about what. After those ten seconds, on the millisecond she opened her eyes he could tell she didn't want him to see something. The instant hers opened his closed and he turned his head, his bag falling to the floor. He could hear her thoughts, louder than her apologies. He was no empath, but he could feel the strong feelings she was feeling. He never in his life had heard or felt things so pronounced...so...out in the open...so vulnerable. He offered a blindly aimed hand as a sign of friendship, not rejection, and an offer to help her up. He knew that she may feel his thoughts again, but he didn't care. What she had just done was amazing. He wasn't concerned of what may happen to him, even death. He heard the thought bad timing and then his eyes caught the green ones of a pendragon with golden fur and he found her rather attractive, but didn't say anything as she had a stunned look on her face almost like she saw a ghost.
"I-I'm so sorry, s-s-so very sorry," Leah stammered. "You must think I'm a monster," She said shame in her voice. There were tears falling from her face and into the dark mist that surrounded her. She felt another presence. "No you wouldn't have met me...I don't go out much,"
When she didn't grab his hand, he turned his head back to her and careful not to make eye contact, grabbed hers and pulled her up to full posture, and he whispered in her ear: "Not at all, but we can talk in a second." he looked down and realized he was still clutching her hand and let go, then turned to face Sah`Dja. "Hello...no we have not met yet." he said with a grin, reading her casual and unprotected thoughts, unlike Jyr's whose were always lightly protected, at least enough to make a telepath have to slightly concentrate to read his thoughts.
Sah`Dja smiled simply, “I don’t know, you seem pretty alright from where I stand, Leah." Yeah, she had heard them exchange names, even seen the girl’s oddly shaped eyes. A friendly shrug on her part, after all, she had her own secrets to keep. The golden femme had spent a long time hiding her self alterations, even learning how to fake medical screens...given enough of a warning. And with the number of telepaths around, she’d even taken to hiding those specific memories. Sure, wander through her childhood, her many explorations of strange worlds, her illness, even her public research. Sah`Dja would go as far as push those memories at the curious wandering her mind, but what had been done within herself remained closely guarded, locked away, and hidden to the best of her ability. Sah`Dja grinned at Jyr, “In that case, I’m Sah`Dja. Here, let me get your bag." Seeing as he was busy with poor Leah. She bent over and scooped it up without a second thought and canted her head to him, “We should probably get out of the hallway. Your dorm near here?" She was concerned for the Leah, and someplace less public would likely calm her down.
"Good to meet you as well" he said with a nod, watching her lift his bag, then snapping back to consciousness, then he looked at the door nearest him - 834"We can go to mine, I haven't even moved in yet so...uh...yeah..nine hundred n' fifty five, not too far from here, just around the corner." he noted, motioning down the other half of the hall. "Let's get going then shall we? Can you still walk, Leah?" he said, putting his right hand on Leah's back with a nudge and with his left, a flick of the wrist, the bag became incredibly light in Sah`Dja's grip and it flew onto his left shoulder.
She admired Jyr's kindness. Most 'dragons would have fled from her presence, after being forced to relive memories that they tried to put as far from mind as possible. "I'm a bit shaky, but I can walk," She said. Then she turned to the other dragon. "I don't seem so bad now, but depening on your past I can be pretty bad, as far as 'dragons go. Some have even ventured to call me a demon," She said with a small chuckle. OOC: Sorry about the wait, my brother fell down the cellar stairs...not pretty
Out of Character

Is he alright?

"Takes one to know one." he said in a comforting way. He could tell she felt bad about making him relive those memories... "Yeah well as for making me relive those memories, we all have to square with them someday, and that someday for me was a long time ago. The past is past and the future is now - speaking of now, what should we do? This doesn't exactly seem like the best place for lengthy introductions? My dorm is down the hall, and like I said it's empty so we can go there if you ladies feel comfortable doing that?" he asked...to him it seemed like an awkward question, possibly an offensive one - women weren't his strong point, so he treated them just like any other person.
"I have no problem with it," Leah said, it was better than doing nothing. His comment on being a demon had confused her, she couldn't sense anything demonic. She squinted though her bangs, seeing past solid objects. She looked at him, now able to see his aura. It was a swirl of colors, mainly blacks, blues and purples, but she didn't see anything unnatural. She knew a demon when she saw one and had to laugh. Jyr was only living under the immpression that he was a demon. Being an outcast would have done that to anyone. If he could only see She thought with a sigh. OOC: Just pretty banged up, but he'll live...compared to what he's done before it's really quite small.
“There should be at least a bed and uncomfortable chair waiting for you." Sah`Dja shrugged, “It’s better than a bare floor, and will be good enough for the time being." She looked to Leah for a moment, then reached out and gently grasped her shoulder. Sah`Dja’s memories came flooding back: the ship of her birth, its crew that she came call family one and all, the many alien worlds and cultures, the adventures and close calls, the corridor consumed in flames that came to haunt her, her first crush - on an alien felid no less, the day she got sick – the very day her happy childhood came crashing down, the long days bed bound, the pain and bitter disappointment of hobbling around on crutches, the watching and the longing to join in all the games she use to play, the depression of a ship with only a skeleton crew and knowing that the rest were planet bound. Sah`Dja gave a squeeze to Leah’s shoulder and broke contact then, before anything more came. She made a point to be open, at least as open as she could be. She smiled again, “Come on," and lead the way to Jyr’s dorm. “Ah, here we are: nine hundred fifty-five. "
Leah felt Sah`Dja touch her soulders. She saw a ship, a girl on crutches, experiments, a hallway of flames, and a host of other memories, all the while feeling an underlying resentment and jealousy and an emothion she couldn't quite identify. She gasped and began to feel her motor systems fail her. Here we go again She thought. She began to count again. Really terribly, utterly sorry about that, you probably hate my guts right now," she said once she had regained consencious control.
Jyr moved his hand to her opposite hip and held onto her when he saw her losing her motor skills. He could sense her bewilderment about the demon comment. When she regained consciousness, he spoke: We all have a demon inside, Leah. It's just about how powerful the demon is. Likewise, everyone has an angel inside too." he said with wink to Leah. He pulled a key out of his bag with his telekinesis which fell promptly into his left hand and he unlocked the door, flinging it wide open with a flick of his wrist. He motioned the ladies into the rooms. It was very clean, for an unused dorm. There were two chairs in one corner, one in another. "You can go lie down, Leah. I insist, you need it. It has obviously been very trying for you. he said, motioning towards the bedroom. He preceded to sit down in a chair. The cushions weren't exactly comfy, but he'd sat in worse. Out of Character

Lol i see, okay just checking 8)

Leah felt a prickle of sunlight on one of her wings, it felt as though she was on fire. Through clenched teeth and strained breath she asked Jyr a question. "Would I be alright if i sat in one of the chairs?" She didn't want to seem overbearing, besides it was his dorm she'd feel as though she was encroaching in on his space if she lay down on his bed. "No offense to you of anything, it's just a small...er...issue for me," she said noting the confused look in his eyes
He could tell she didn't want to interfere but he thought he had best leave it be. "You can sit wherever you want, though I would suggest the bed since I have reason to believe it is more comfortable than these chairs." he said with a grin. "I really do insist though, you would get more rest that way. You don't hide it well, you need some rest." He could sense her pain when the light touched her, and with a flick of both of his wrists, all the curtains closed. With yet another flick, all the lights were on and after the split second of darkness, the room was lit again.
