Month:Tessera Day: 40 Year: 81377 (3) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The leaves were turning, as a lone figure stood in the temple to Tanaslasei. He knew he was not welcome there. For what his people had done. He was there to beg forgiveness. A black figure stood, eyes closed, directly under the dome. THe two long scars down his back reminded him of why he was here. "I'm sorry." He said as he sat down, his pure red eyes opened and he looked up. "I'm sorry, for all my people have done...They deserved their fate, though still don't understand why I was allowed to live. I lost my wings, but yet I still live. Is it my conecction with Woe and Suffer that allows me to live or is it something I do not know of yet? Just please answer me this why let me live and watch my own mother suffer...My friends wither away and yet still I live to be 63,000 and still no sympathy." He hung his head in shame, his tail flame was low and his eyes gave off barly a glimmer. It was strange to see a strong pendragon such as this one in shame. His anubial head hung low though it was usually held high in pride, but now was a time of shame and there was nothing he could do about it.
Archfang watched the figure as he stood there and announced his forgiveness to the the people that his own had harmed. And though he had never felt the pain he completely understood why this wingless pendragon asked for their forgiveness. He walked up till he was just outside of the dome area. "There are people out there that will always have different beliefs as the people around you, and sometimes there is a conflict that can not be stopped." He started to pace around the dome area.
The black Anubial pendragon turned to Archfang and shook his head. He knew he ment well. "Have you not heard of what the Anubial pendragons had done a little before 50,000? and why so few exist today? I live to tell the tale. I am one of the few who was not involved." He sighed a constant memory in his mind was of his mother's death...she had been sick for weeks, and then she just died. He found her in the morning when he was only a pup. That was the start of the plague. A plague that would destroy a race.
"No, I have not heard the tale of the anubial pendragons. But I do realise it would bring great sorry to you to have to repeat it." He was now at the other side of the dorm area and still pacing. Only now did he realise that this pendragon had no wings. But there was something about him that said he once did. "And I believe that this tale is the reason that your wings were removed?"
The black dragon smiled. "Ah part of it is. I see you noticed the scars on my shoulders. I do not mind repeating the tale as I am num to feeling any pain from it, if you wish I will spin the story for you." He loved the curiosity he felt in this one, just like himself at one time. Curious and unafraid. Always looking for adventure. Foolish at heart even though they did not know it at the time.
"If you wish to spin a tale then you may. Who knows, it may get something off your chest." Archfang stopped pacing around the dome area. He took several steps so that he was standing several feet in front of this black dragon. "I am Archfang." He bowed deeply.
A heavy laughter came forth from within the demi lite halls of the temple. Two golden eyes peered out from the cover of the shadow then out came the blue flamed female. Extends her upper set of arms over her head slowly and stretches as she comes into view gazing upon the two males. "You haven't any reason to be sorry for the actions that our people took so many years back and then some. It was that we were the rightful owners of this world." She spoke moving out into the center of the temple and casts her gaze upon the larger statue of a pendragon god. Smirks lightly at it then walks up taking hold of one of the offerings. Takes back and eats off of it slowly. "But as you can see that the Gods was jelous of us. And will all as so long as one of our kind live." Kyofu spoke in her deep dark tone turning her eyes back towards the males. Casts the offering a side and closes her eyes as they third one emerged out of her forehead, glowing a aqua blue color.
The black dragon turned to the golden laughing pendragon "Aie...We had out own gods, our own society, many a god were jealous but had no right to take action until we destroyed a god. We destroyed the one this temple is dedicated to. Our kind died from the rath of the gods left, a sickness so horable that only those far away lived or those with eyes that could not start to be destroyed for thats what the sickness started with the eyes then it destroyed the rest of the body, so that all that was left was the soul. I know this years later, after my mother died from it when I was so young. It attacked my wings strangely enough and I had to have them removed...Though it is true in Fromina I still have them because my spirit still flys." He then turned to Archfang. "That is a tale from long ago, most likely before you were born. My name is Umoreul Paush or as most people call me Paush. I am friend to Woe and Suffer, daughters of my best friend and Tanastlasei."
"Do you believe that to be an intresting story? At least those killed by this... plauge... reached Fronima. The rapine is far worse than any god." With no sound, a jet-black female in quadrupedal form emerges seemingly from thin air. Her face shows no trace of emotion, and her piercing yellow eyes seem focused on the hearts of the three others. "On a second thought... pendragons are worse. Unknowingly, we destroy our home. Why bother...? All is lost anyways. No matter what we do, the rapine will ultimately destroy us, leaving Fronima as empty as my heart." The female seemingly fades away, just to reappear behind the trio.
Paush nodded "The rapine are a worse threat, I do agree with that, so are ourselves. Still, we must remember our past." He took a deep breath, what he would say next might turn out to be lengthy. "Fronima is so large that they never find each other, some wish to have their souls destroyed because they do not know the other 'normal' pendragons because they never left their desert homes. The only 'normal' pendragon most had ever seen was Tanastlasei, and they killed her. So seeing millions of different pendragons would drive one like them insane, as I might have if I did not belive my sister was right that others were like Tanastlasei out there. I've digressed..." He shook his head. His whiteless, pupiless red eyes stareing out almost as if he was blind but in reality he saw fine, better then most 'dragons. When he was mad these eyes would glow a brilliant red. Normally they just glowed slightly though. Always watching never blinking.
Archfang watched as the black female dragon appeared out of the air. It was odd though how her gaze seemed to move between their hearts. "If that is the tale then I must ask, Why is it that four dragons that do not belong have gathered in a place they should not be?" He looked around in case any other pendragons decided to *pop* in.
Kyofu smirked at the other female as she entered into the chamber from places unknown. Licks her lips lightly and shakes her head a bit looking away from her, barely listening to a damn word that she was speaking. Lifts her eyes back up from the ground slowly and slips her hand up over her flaming shoulder slowly then back down along the flamed arm. Glares a bit looking at the two males then nods slowly to Paush. "Those damn rapine don't have anything on me. Becides they couldn't lay a finger on me if they would try." Laughs and shakes her head lightly lowering her eyes once more and thinks back on the anicent times of the plague and the invasion of the rapine upon the lands and her people. Smirks at the thoughts then slips her eyes closed slightly.
Paush smiled. "Us you mean, I can turn into a cloud...I can hold this form infinatly. This is only one of my defences against the Rapine. I'm a Dark Artist and I fight for the side of freedom. The Rapine will fall!" With that he slamed a fist on the ground. He remembered the war very little of it only bright flashing lights and asking his mother what was going on. She didn't know. The Rapine attacked very few of them for some reason. No one knows why. Paush's eyes flamed furiously, while his black tail flame glowed ever brighter if you can call black bright.
"I doubt that your parents my dear Paush, was even a match for that of the Rapine. It was the temple guardians that prevented them from entering into your beloved home." Kyofu spoke in a sharp but no caring tongue as she looked upon him. Slides her tongue out over her lips slowly and lowers her eyes towards the ground glaring a bit as she does. Lifts them back up and moves away from the two males approaching the damned statue that was constructed of the common pendragons' fallen hero. Shakes her head lightly at it and a long black spear appeared out of a blue light in the center of her palm then takes it forth with the tip facing down. Thrusts it into the wide stone statue of the god, then releases the spear as it melted away into a black plague looking matter that splited the statue and cracked it.
Paush glared at Kyofu. That pissed him off majorly. "My mother was seer and Alchemist, my father was the High Priest of the temple and a dark artist like myself. He was a match for the Rapine, my mother was a good enough fighter to defend herself." His eyes were a blinding red. The memory of his parents was very dear to him. He was trained by his father to be the next High priest his mother taught him the art of seeing, making him the master he is today.
Archfang watched the two bicker. It was very hard to tell where this would be going. But eventually everything has to come to an end. His warrior instincts were saying a fight would be started, but his hunter sense said it was all for play. Odd how some things work.
Kyofu smirked at the display of anger she heard deep within the voice of Paush. Turns her eyes away from the statue slowly just as the body beneath the rotting head became to heavy to support then gave way. Kyofu moved down away from the statue and approached Paush, coming up right on him. Kneels down infront of him slowly and extends her hand touching it to his face gently. Glares a bit looking into his eyes then lowers her eyes away from his with a smirk. "So I must have struck a nerve with you. I'm sorry if it hurts so to remember departed loved ones." She spoke caressing Paush's cheek with her fingertips. Leans in closer to him and closes her eyes for a short moment as the third one stared into his eyes. "I know that these years have taken a toll on your body and mind, so I can understand that of your anger." She spoke telepathically to Paush as she drew back her hand and face looking over towards the other male. Stands up and glares bit looking into his direction.
"Yes you did, but I shouldn't have reacted as such, it was ignorant of me." His bright eyes returned to their normal brightness and he sighed, as her fingers touched his face. It felt...refreshing. "I have not felt a female's touch in such a long time." He smiled and blinked for the first time during this whole escapade. As she spoke to him telepathically. he smirked. "You speak the truth...I can't find what I've left behind...nor do I know where I belong...Sometimes I think I'm losing my mind, as a young one lost in Fromnia once put it I'm an angel fallen from grace." He hung his head and sighed. An angel fallen from grace, that described him perfectly.
Kyofu smirked at his words then shakes her head, looking back to him. "Well, don't go and get use to it my elder Paush." She spoke softly turning her back on him. Lowers her eyes to the ground slowly and licks her lips moving over towards the remains of the statue looking down on it. Glares a bit and holds her hand. The remains of the statue rose up from the ground and began to rotate. Casts her hand out to the side and the pieces fly off hitting the wall. Shakes her head slowly and drops her hand turning around looking upon the two once more.
Paush turned around and picked up a single piece of the broken mess and placed his hands around it, there was a slight flash and he opened his hands and a black dove sat in his hands. He started petting it and it started cooing. "A gift for my lady 'tis my trademark" He held it out it fluffed its feathers and then let them settle, it was quite tame, for a bird. Then again he could make anything he wanted with his Mastery of the dark arts...but only in black. He hated all color in his work. Weather it was a cloud or a bird it twas always black. Never colorful nor white, just black like night. Just like his heart.
