ooc: anyone is free to join... um... I'm just kinda bored so hopefully something fun will happen ^.^

    IC:
Carrying his single bag Tsizz meanderd through the halls looking for a room. Each one seemed to be adorned with this and that, notes, tack boards, dry erase boards, and other things like that. "So many students... I will probably end up having to find a room that is empty." he nodded slowly and continued on.

Room after room, occupied... occupied... occupied... and then finally a door without anything on it. He blinked and opened the door. Absolutely nothing... save the standard furnishings, beds, desks dressers... things of that sort. He noticed several sockets around the room and smirked, "Very up to date, too bad I don't have any machina... it sure beats sleeping in a cave though... much less drafty." he chuckled and walked further into the room. He plopped his bag down in the dresser. It hit with a thud, evidence of how tight things were packed into the bag... one might say everything he owned was in there. It wouldn't be too far off the mark.

Tsizz selected a bed that was seemingly placed in a nich in the wall about 3 feet off the ground. He nodded slowly and went back to his things. He quickly unpacked everything... meaning he dumped it all out on the dresser top, and much of it fell off onto the floor. He opened a drawer and began to fold and place his cloths inside. Now and again he would hear people talking and walking through the hall and he glanced to the door to see other 'dragons go walking by.

It didn't take too long before he was finished placing his things in the drawers a couple of items he took with him as he lounged on the bed. One was what his father called a Fronima Blade. Much like the tail flame this blade also had a flame that appeared right along the sharp edge. This blade was made for him especially as were most of them. It would bond to the first person to wield it, there was also another catch it took a bit of the wielders blood for it to work. Tsizz hadn't activated the blade yet. He merely looked it over and placed it in a sheath and stuck it under his pillow.

There was on more thing that was of some note. It resembeled that of a snow globe, minus the snow. Inside were two figures made of water. it was like a little movie clip. There were several buttons on the base of the item. Tsizz ran his fingers lightly over the glass and sighed as he looked at the two figures. He became lost in memories and probably wouldn't notice if anyone walked into the room.</font>

  2. <font color='silver'>ooc: Hello!

ic: Ah, the possibilities of boredom... Again, Laz had some time before classes... and proceded to meander about in a slightly nosy sort of manner, seeing if there was anybody about who'd just gotten here. He'd met a few people, but more didn't hurt...

The muscular 17oo-year-old walked, quad-style, down the hard flooring of the dormitory hallways. His body was held loosely that day, for he was slightly lethargic from cold. He'd just been around in the courtyards and was now hoping for something to do. At the moment, it seemed nobody was here.

Lazuli bobbed his head as he walked, in cadence with a beat only he could hear, for in his feline ears were a pair of earbuds, whose wires snaked around the back of his neck to his leather satchel. From the headphones pumped soft music, which he kept on for background noise rather than entertainment. With a bored sigh, he walked further down the hall, silver fur gleaming coldly where the frosty light streamed onto it from the windows. His glossy black claws were, as per usual, extended for traction on the slippery floor, and they too gleamed as if coated with fine grease.

Stretching his neck, the male was about to turn 'round when he heard a solitary voice coming from an open door. He reached up with a paw and gently removed the earbuds from his lappets, laying them quickly in the oiled satchel. He sauntered over to the door, then, and peeked inside. Seeing a male, he said, <span style='color:indigo'>"Oh, hey. I'm Laz... did you just get here?"</span> And with that, he settled back on his haunches, and waited for a response.</font>

  3. <font color='#003300'>Tsizz looked up and smirked some peeking his head out of the "bed nook." Raising a brow he hopped down off of the bed and nodded slowly, "Yeah just finally made it to my room. Rather empty but I suppose it will fill in time... especially once I start getting homework." he cringed some. Something kept prodding at his mind like he had forgotten something, and then it hit him, "Oh yeah, I'm Tsizz." he smirked nodding slowly looking around his room before turning a chair around and sitting on it backwards. He folded his arms and leaned forwards figuring he could use a rest after all the traveling he had done in the past couple of years.</font>

  4. <font color='silver'><span style='color:indigo'>"Hey... Guess I'll call you Art."</span> He paused for a moment, to stretch his neck again, for the chill of the halls was imbuing stiffness in his bones. For a second he thought longingly of the heat radiator machina in his dorm room. Then he said, <span style='color:indigo'>"My real name's Lazuli... but everybody calls me Laz anyway."</span>

He listened to the male's response, and saw the small cringe at the thought of the work the Academy put on. With a grimace he said, <span style='color:indigo'>"Yeah... it's OK, that bit. There's lots of work but, there will be some at every school... it's not too bad."</span>

There seemed to be a loss of what to say, so he looked about the room for a few seconds. It seemed that the slightly younger male hadn't done much unpacking. I wonder if he's got a roommate yet, he thought briefly. Mayhap that'd lighten up the place... It seemed to be quite cold and empty at the moment. <span style='color:indigo'>"Me and my roommate live in 403... if you need anything we've got some stuff... probably some extra sheets or something."</span> He glanced about the room once more, then reached up absentmindedly to brush the spiked indigo headfur from his forehead with one snow-silver paw. Then he shivered a bit. <span style='color:indigo'>"There's also a heater"</span>--he gave a bit of a grin--<span style='color:indigo'>"if you want to drop by..."</span>

At that moment he looked around for a clock, to see if it was possible he could find the time. His search came up nil, but then he did catch sight of a glint of blade from underneath the pillow. It looked quite keen, deadly even. His sharp indigo oculars focused in. Then he turned to Art. <span style='color:indigo'>"What's that?"</span> he asked, out of pure curiosity.</font>

  5. <font color='#003300'>OOC ACK! woops this is Tsizz not Arton.. >.< sorry bout that I am starting to get them muttled together. Dern brain getting all fried. Yeah... this is finals for me at my college. Sorry bout the mix up >.<</font>

  6. <font color='#003300'>Tsizz blinked some looking around and nodded slowly at his offer, "I appreciate the offer. Might just do that some time. I am missing the comfort of a nice fireplace... it is kind a chilly after all. As far as other things go... I think I will be just fine." he ruffeled his fur some upon his arms.

Turning to follow the other male's eyes he looked right at the blade beneath his pillow, "Oh that? that's... uh a gift from my father. He gave me that blade some time ago..." he looked around trying to push the sad memories back, never really letting them hit the surface. He smirked some looking around and then walking to his dresser and pulling out of the top drawer a clock. He looked outside and then back to the clock, "Good still right on time... I knew I had brought one of these with me. Don't want to be late for classes right?" he noded slowly wishing they had still been around to see him here.</font>

  7. <font color='silver'>ooc: That's k... we all get mixed up sometimes [IMG]

also, sorry for the shortness... i play bass and it's really chewing up my fingers so it hurts to type at the moment

ic: Laz looked closer at the blade, analyzing it for quality and keeness. It appeared quite sharp, and well-forged at that. The metal also seemed to almost swarm with an unseen energy. Intrigued, he bent in slightly closer, studying the half of the weapon he could see. But after some time of investigation, he quickly withdrew, not wanting to seem too interested in the blade. Tsizz seemed-- protective-- about it, and Lazuli didn't want to draw too much attention to the situation.

Then the male's comment about the clock brought him back to full attention, and he turned about and glanced at the simple machina. In this moment, his aubergine headfur, which naturally fell into stiff spikes, fell again into his orbs. With a grunt of annoyance, he pushed it from his visage and extended his claws slightly, raking them through his hair and trying to rearrange it. Giving up, he simply let it hang free over his forehead.

Turning to Tsizz, he said, <span style='color:indigo'>"I should probably go get ready for classes soon."</span> He gave a slight pained expression at this proclamation. <span style='color:indigo'>"What classes have you signed up for?"</span></font>

  8. <font color='#003300'>Tsizz blinked a moment and was about to tell the other pendragon what classes he was signed up for... but then it escaped him. "Um.... just a second I forgot." with a sheepish grin he opened the top drawer of his dresser and pulled out piece of paper and nodded slowly, "Ok it says here... that I am in some sort of fighting class, a subterfuge class, a basic magic class and it looks like a lockpicking class as well. Hmm... You have any of those classes? Maybe you would know who teaches them, or perhaps what I could expect?" his ears lifted hopefully. Frankly it unnerved him some to be in all these classes with a bunch of new students. Back home... er... where home used to be he knew all the students and the teachers were elders in the clan. So familiarity wasn't an issue in the slightest.</font>

  9. <font color='silver'>ooc: Soooo sorry for the delay!! I thought it was your turn to post for some stupid reason... anyway I'm back...

ic: Lazuli listened with interest to the male's classes, then exclaimed, <span style='color:indigo'>"Hey, I'm taking lockpicking too!"</span> With a quick smile at this revelation, he ruffled his thick, spiked mane and ruff. Then he said, <span style='color:indigo'>"I've'nt started yet, though... Or maybe it was escape artistry that I put on my form...?"</span> he said with a shrug.

<span style='color:indigo'>"Anyway, I don't know about any of the other classes... never even heard of subterfuge. I'm taking a fighting class though... I'm not sure if ours are the same. I haven't started it anyway."</span> A barked laugh emitted from his throat, and he shook his head vigorously. His purple headfur flew in its spikes from his aubergine eyes. Field of vision cleared, he resumed his previous conversation.

    <span style='color:indigo'>"So'd you get assigned a roomie yet?"</span></font>

  10. Tsizz grinned and nodded, "Well then perhaps I will see you in come of my classes. I think it would be good to have a familiar face in atleast one of my classes." he nodded causing his dark blue mane to bounce slightly as he chuckled along with his new aquaintance.

The newly registered 'dragon shook his head an Lazuli's question but smirked, "No... no room mate yet but I did meet a very... uh... interesting... 'dragon when I registered... I hope to at least talk with her again." he smiled a little wider as his mind wandered a bit.

  11. The silver-washed male grinned at the last comment. "Met a girl, huh?" he asked, flicking his violet headfur back. "Well, good luck with that... they're confusing, you know," he stated with a chuckle. "Lovely, and confusing." Lazuli too then trailed off and thought about things long past, femmes from home...

"But you never know what's going to happen next, that's for sure," he said after a moment, with an expression of slight distaste on his face after having remembered a memorably fiesty female he'd been involved with. With a sigh, he came back to the present. His tail-flame flickered slightly for a moment. After a few more seconds of silence, he changed the subject.

"So... you say you're in a fighting class...? Advanced or basic-level? 'Cause fighting is one of my hobbies, you know... Maybe you could be my partner, and we could spar in the mornings before classes, he offered with a smile. "I'll admit, my classes in fighting are more advanced. There's hardly anyone who'll spar 'cause I usually beat them," he said wryly. "Not that that's such a good thing anymore."

With that, he sat back and waited for Tsizz's reply.

  12. Tsizz nodded some, "Yeah... I know they are confusing and all... but isn't that half the fun?" he chuckled lightly and looked around his rather empty room a little bit until Laz spoke again, "Oh... yeah um I am not quite sure... what level I was put into... but I wouldn't mind sparring with you. If you beat me then... well... I just need to practice more. Ya know? Plus it is a good way to wake up in the morning. Gets the ol' blood flowing." he grinned and nodded.

He sighed a little, "I hope I am not keeping you from anything important... he tenitivly spoke. He knew that many 'dragons here had buisy schedules and often enjoyed their free time. He didn't really want to keep anyone. Then his mind wandered and he muttered thinking aloud, "hmmm... I wonder if I will be getting a room mate?" he trailed off shaking his head some looking back at Lazuli, "Anywho... is there anything interesting to do around here in your free time?"
