ooc: Your character must have basic knowladge of Elemental Sorcerery. This means they can: create a small sphere of water/fire easily, create a light breeze, make flowers and grass grown in a small area (sometimes a small sapling) and create and able to manipulate them easily and quickly. ic: 35 Tessera Year 3 Kjetta walked briskly down the long corridors to his room for Elemental Sorcerery, number 3001. His large black form moved without strain as he moved past teachers and students alike, they moving out the way as he seemed in not the greatest of moods. He didn't bother with a key and looked at the lock making it melt open. When he went in the room, he clicked his fingers without turning round and the lock recreated itself perfectly, this time unlocked. He glanced at the room, the tables grouped in sixes. He frowned and a north wind picked the tables up and put them singlely so that the students wouldn't have the temptation to talk. He moved accross to the front of the room and stepped onto the small platform with his desk and chair in the center. He nodded in agreement at the craftsmenship of the large wooden chair with a fitted cushion for the rear and back, making his firery hair bounce a little. Now he sat down, comfortable for in two minutes the bell would ring and the class would enter.... Today his tail flame was a medium orangey yellow......the class had better beware....
Mist walked now the hallway towards another one of her many classes. She was looking forward to this class. She had been wanting to get to an advanced elementary class for quit a while, but I didnÂ’t come that often. With the lack of classes she sent most of her time reading. Mostly about magic and testing herself to the limits. Well she had learned her limits the hard way. Not something she would want to do again. Being lost in thought she almost didnÂ’t stop at a door that had the number 3001. She remembered it from her times table. She pushed the door open and walked in. She nodded in greeting to the teacher. Not being much of a talker. She then went over to one of the chairs and took a seat. She wasnÂ’t really sure what they were going to do this class so she just stayed at her seat and waited for instruction and other students.
Kjetta watched as the student walked in quietly. Ah! Good... a quiet student... the best kind! He thought silently as he watched her sit at a desk in front of him. He looked into the drawer of his large wooden desk and retrieved a pen and paper before he looked at the girl and began to speak. Djaasemdt. Could you please tell me your name so I can note it down for a register? Then we just wait for others to arrive.. His voice was husky and mysterious as his dark brown eyes glistened like fire. The pen was still in his hand, hovered over the clean sheet of paper to create the register perfectly still, his hand not moving at all.
“Djaasemdt" Mist replied in greeting. The Ramathian word sliding easily off her tongue. “My name is Mist Sterlu. What would you like me to call you Sir? She looked around the room noticing that all the desks were separate. She took a guess that they would do individual work and he didn’t want any disturbances from students talking. She was thinking was asking what he had planed for them but decided she would just wait and see.
He noted down the name after a brisk nod in her direction. It was then she asked about what to call him... He wasn't too sure... He sat up straight, his tail moving gently where it was able to be free of the chair. My name is Kjetta Pujcmatt. When it is just me and other students, if they ever arrive, you may call me by my first name. When, however, there is a vistor in the class which there might well be at some point, Sir or Mr Pujcmatt will do fine, shumc iyo Mist. He said giving a little smile. Of course, this class will be easier if there is less students.. especially naughty ones... He thought silently as he placed the pen on the desk quietly, as the bell ranf three times, signalling the beginning of the class. So Mist, looks like you're the only one going to be in my good books for being on time... He said after the last ring had died out...
//OOC// Nafel is parinoid about doing more complex spells, because she has a Spirit-form (Luthano) that only a few (4) people know about. If he pops up, that would be why... ^^;; //IC// Nafel shoved various 'dragons out of the way so as to get to her class. She arrived at the door, her frail-looking chest heaving. She was late, and she knew it, but it wasn't by much. She hoped. She padded into the room, making very little sound. Her only hope was that this class wasn't going to take a ton of magickal energy. She wanted to avoid Luthano, and that was becoming harder. Also, she was using most of her magic to keep her muscles from colapsing. She was not built for running, as much as she looked like it. "I'm sorry for being late, sir. My class prior to this has a tendency to run late. My name is Nafel Isunari." With that, she sat down next to Mist. She flexed her legs and removed her leather chest pouch, taking out a pen and notebook. She settled her black wings into place and waited for the others to arrive.
Sirius padded into the classroom as the bell sounded, mentally cursing. She had honestly TRIED to be on time, for she was really looking forward to this class! Sirius had long studied on her physical abilities, and now it was time to hone her fire and lightning magics. "I'm so sorry I'm late!" she said, blushing. "The name is Sirius Griffon." She gave him a respectful nod, then went to sit beside the two student already there. A small class?
Kjetta didn't say a word as the two late students entered and just wrote their names down quickly. The students ought to note his tail flame as it wasn't the best of colours... it was quite close to red now for anger... He brushed his flame coloured hair back again before looking at the three females with his cold, deep brown eyes. Placing the pen on the table, he pushed the chair back before moving around the table itself and standing in front of it. He checked the time on the clock at the back of the classroom before looking at them again. My name is Kjetta Pujcmatt. When you address me, you may call me Sir or Kjetta unless there is a vistor to the class when you'd call me Mr Pujcmatt. I hope that this will not cause any problems... He paused a moment before speaking again is his deep husky voice. Now, I will not wait any longer for one thing I detest is lateness. It's understandable if another teacher kept you behind and for today, I will ignore your lateness Sirrius and Nafel. When you have a lesson with me, make sure you are on time or I will be forced to give out punishments... And believe me, I can think of punishments that will make you squirm.... I expect silence unless you have been asked to speak or allowed to confer between yourselves. If you wish to speak, one hand must be raised in the air like a ruler. Under no circumstances must you disrespect me or another pupil. This will also result in a punishment of sorts.... And if you shall be taking Advanced Ramathian, it will be probable that I shall be your teacher. He gave a small smile now to the trio as he paused for breath. Any questions before we continue? He asked politely as his tail flame became orange as he calmed down.....
Mist was happy to be in the teacher good book. Yes some would call her a goody good but she didnÂ’t really care what others said. All she wanted to do was learn and advance. Mist turned her hears towards the sound of the other students who entered. When she heard NafelÂ’s name it made her think. Where had she heard that name before. She then remember that she must have heard it from Eka before. She turned to look at Nafel, for some reason she was happy to know some one before. She took a guess that Nafel probably didnÂ’t know her. She was about to say something when she remembered what the teacher had said and she wasnÂ’t about to make him mad. She looked over to see Sirius also. She didnÂ’t know who she was. She then turned back to face the front of the class and waited to see what they would be doing.
Sirius just shook her head, struck by this teacher's tone. But she knew it was a way to keep order, and frankly she should not have been late in the first place. So she sat down, and hoped by being quiet she could at least save some face. One thing was for certain though, this class should definitly be interesting!
Nafel nodded in silent aggreement att he teachers warning, taking it to heart. She hadn't been punished by a teacher before, and hated being yelled at. Never mind the fact that she had been excused, she still felt guilty. When the teacher was done speaking, she smiled shyly back at Mist, hoping to make friends among the two other students. She was not overjoyed at the fact that she was sooner or later going to have to have him in another class, as she was soon approaching the advanced level of Ramathian. Her chest had stopped heaving, and she was silent, waiting for orders.
Kjetta smiled, contented that they all agreed on his conditions and his tail flame lighted to a medium orange which meant that his mood could swing either way. He stepped down of the the platform and blinked once. Suddenly, a hude gust of wind blew through the open windows and moved the majority of the spare tables to the sides of the room out of the way. Only five more tables were left unattended where he'd placed them to begin with. Blinking again, he smiled as the wind died away leaving peacefullness in the classroom. When you've graduated from this Acadamy, I will expect you to be able to do that and much more. He said turning to the eyes of the females, smiling widely. Now let's see what you are capeable of... He paused a moment to think about what he'd like them to do first.. Before that, I wish to ask one very important thing. What is it that creates the power to control the Elements? This is a question that is vital for the Sorcerer or Sorceress if they wish to play with the Elements. After this question has been correctly answered, we will procede with a practicle. I'm not in the mood to dictate to you.... He said grinning, his dark husky voice sounding quite warm compared to how it was a few moments earlier.
Aurora walked into the classroom, hoping she wasn't late. Elemental Sorcery wasn't any of her trades, but both her mother and father used it. She wanted to too. She knew the basics, she wanted to move onto advanced. "Hello? am I late?"
Kjetta's cool temprement suddenly flew out the winodw as another late student entered, this was about fifteen minutes into the lesson. He walked briskly over to her standing by the door and looked down his ebony nose at her. Yes. You are fifteen minutes late! Tell me your name and then sit down over there and wait behind after the lesson! His dark brown eyes flashed with the fire of his anger as he suddenly leapt, a long jump I can tell you, straight onto the platform without landing heavily and took the paper which served as the registration paper before turning his glaring gaze at the student, waiting for an answer. His tail flame was crimson red....
Tears flew from her eyes at the sudden act of anger. "I-I'm A-Aurora L-L-Lyte... Y-Yes sir.." She started to emit a great deal of light, right next to blinding as she scampered to her seat and waited for the next instruction, most of her hoped it would never come. (note: The more she glows, the more scared she is )
Jyta smiled at the cool wind that blew in. It was a little show-offy, but she liked it all the same. It was, however, a bit odd that the wind had come from nothing. They were underground! She wondered if she'd ever master the wind summoning to such a fine degree. When the question was repeated, she shyly raised her paw. Then the new student entered. As soon as they entered, Nafel put her paw down quickly. She could only guess how angry Kjetta would get. She was right, he did get angry, and very much so. Nafel sat quietly, being very, very quiet.
Sirius raised a brow as the wind blew in, amazed at how easilly their teacher had summoned it. Could she summon other elements in the same fashion as well? Sirius was pondering on that, when the new student arrived. And she noted that once more, their teacher's tail flame had turned colors. Very, VERY upset... almost as much as the poor student who was actually glowing! Sirius just gave the new student a reassuring nod, before turning back to the teacher. What is it that makes the elemnts? Sirius knew that it probably had to do with the dream plane... but she didn't know much more than that so she kept quiet.
Mist looked towards the other late comer. She looked very young. She looked back at the teacher seeing him get mad. It was then that she also noticed the changing of the tail flame color for the first time. She decided it would be god if she were the keep an eye on it. She was happy that she didnÂ’t have a tail flame. She didnÂ’t like to have otherÂ’s knowing her emotion at any time. After the tension started to drop by just a little Mist thought about the question that their teacher had asked. She knew that the power they used was drawn from Fronima. But was it where the elements came from? She decided to raise her paw any way. Hoping she had the right answer.
K'uei walked down the now empty hall casually. He was late to class and he knew it but it didn't much matter. He could just say he was new here and couldn't find the class. The dark voice of his Elemental teacher came from room 30whatever. K'uei didn't much care about the number of the class as long as he knew some landmarks to remember. The question entered his ears and he smiled. He sauntured into the classroom and spoke in a amused tone. Isn't it that we draw the power of magic from Fronima. Well wouldn't that mean that the elements come from that source as well? And if we focus our thoughts and energy on that element, we can control a small part of it? A large grin was found upon the midnight blue 'dragon's visage as he spoke his thought on the matter. Dark chocolate orbs glittered as he stared at his teacher. His own tail flame was alight with a baby blue flame and it swung slowly behind him. His bookbag was slung across his shoulder as he leaned in the doorway. A black hooded sweatshirt with the Janardan logo on it was wrapped around his body. He wasn't overly muscled but it was enough to show. Regular baggy jeans hung from his waist and they flowed with him as he walked to a seat near Sirius. K'uei smiled at her and a few strands of silver hair floated infront of his face. He brushed them away and nodded. He knew the teacher would be watching him like a hawk until his sat down. K'uei still didn't know if his answer was correct but it sounded truthfull. He motioned to the seat near her and spoke kindly. Is this seat taken?
Kjetta scribbled down the glowing Aurora's name and was just about to ask one of the students the answer when a male came in, answering the question perfectly. His tail flame flashed the angry crimson or a few seconds before it turned into a slightly lighter orangey-red. His dark brown eyes watched him move over to an empty seat and his sharp ears heard the soft speaking and his tail flame flickered the angry red for a moment. That is correct. We draw any magical powers that we use from Fronima. Fronima is what I believe, the place which created everything and thus the Elements too. He paused a moment as he watched the stranger sit down before he asked him and what is your name young sir and why were you incrediably late to this class and disrupting it? He said, slightly threatening, folding his arms and stepping off of the platform. Now, if any of the others had noticed something by now, Kjetta was the sort of 'dragon that is very dangerous if he's in a bad mood. He was ok until the latecomers had started to trickle in.... Perhaps I should throw this lesson's plan out the window. I can tell that it might be a better idea to just go with the flow of the lesson, incase of more interruptions.. He thought silently as he stood there, patiently waiting.
