A pendragon stepped into the clearing where her den was located, a large nut clenched in her jaws. She walked into the shallow hole she had dug out herself only a season before and dropped the nut. She lay down beside it, and broke open the shell with her jaws. Â Her eyelids fluttered shut, then are forced back open to finish her meal. She had spent most of the afternoon hunting the mammals smaller than she was, only to find they were all faster than herself in her state. Having not fed well for a few days, she found herself weak with hunger. Water was plentiful, she had found a steady stream when she came here. Â Having finished her nut, the familiar sounds of the jungle lulled her into sleep. Â Her ears twitched here and there, listening for any intrusions. The small blue form breathed steadily, tiny against the giant trees and leaves surrounding the small clearing.

Nolwenn rose high into the skies, looking around. Not too far away was a a large a clearing where, she was sure, she could find something to eat. She felt so excied! Many a time she had run away from her cave but she had never gone this far off. She didn't want to go back, though, deep inside, she knew her place was over there, with her sisters and brothers. She landed in the clearing and, thirsty as she was, walked leisurely to a nearby stream where she quaffed heartily. Nolwenn felt as though she had never felt this happy in her life. She rolled playfully in the long grass, crouched and lept onto and imaginery prey laughing her little hea off. Her laughter, of course, musn't have gone unoticed. But, young as she was, she did not care.

Adathiel's head rose from its place on her forelegs. The sound of laughter carried from the direction of the stream, surprising the small pendragon. She kicked the nut shells from before aside and stood up, eyes searching for the source of the sound. Cat-sized pendragon walked toward the stream. There she found the other young pendragon rolling on the ground. Eyes wide, she spoke to the other hesitantly. {Hello?}

Who, me ... Hiya, I'm Nolwenn ! Â How are ya ? said Nolwenn cheerfully forgetting to ask the stranger's name. Deciding that maybe her first name wasn't enough as an introduction she added: I'm Nolwenn Myere ... I'm 900 and am an apprentice in arts and a master in flight. (she grinned). After a few seconds she added blankly: I ran away from home.

 Sky blue pendragon stepped out, closer to the stream. "Nice to meet you, Nolwenn. My name is Adathiel Liral." She replied politely. She watched the young pendragon. Only 300 years old, and had already run away from home. "I ran away from home too, a couple of months ago." She said. She remembered the uncomfortable reason she had run away for with a shiver. She didn't want to remember those days, ever again.

Nolwenn wanted to ask why Adathiel had left home but decided against it, think that she herself wouldn't like to be asked. She had a quite a bit of tact for a pendragon her age. Suddenly realising that she was hungry, Nolwenn swung her tiny Ohrayyin leather bag and gently dropped it to the ground, causing it to open and reveal its content : Five long strands of dry meat, a whain with a Dakestos Claw pendent and a tiny shiny gem. Nolwen, using her paw, lifted a strand and handed it to Adathiel. Here, want some? You hungry? I sure am ... They're delicious, it's Rheyant meat. Of course, fresh meat is better but I stil this is good. she added, gnawing at her own piece. Once she had finished her sare she quickly gathered the necklase and gem and put them back into her bag which she carried on her back.

 Adathiel stared at the piece of meat for a moment, then lay down next to it and started eating. When she finished, she went over to the stream and took long gulps of water. Then she turned around and looked at Nolwenn. "Why'd you run away?" She asked, obviously not having the qualms Nolwenn had, and was probably much more blunt than the younger pendragon as well. Nolwenn seemed too cheerful to have had a bad life at home, or wherever she had run away from.

Well she would have to answer then. That didn't quite bother her, after all it wasn't death. She was a bit hesitant in her answer, hoping that she wouldn't get in trouble - somehow, everytime she had told an adult or someone older than her about her fugitive plans, she always got taken back to her cave. She answered truthfully anyway, after all, she had already said too much. - My life at the Cave was so boring, you couldn't imagine ... Not that i was alone, no, it was rather the opposite... I have 7 brothers and sisters, four borther and three sisters, but they are way too old to play with me... Everyone is. Anyway, I was no use to them, a burden more than anything. I have said too much... She nervously scratched something in the dirt which turned out ot be a cute baby pendragon with and oversized head. They didn't like my love for drawing... They thought that that was not a real trade, you see... But i live for drawing, litterally.
::*:: Adathiel shook her head. Those were terrible reasons to run away, at least in her opinion. "It sounds as if your family just loved you, to me." She replied. "But I won't make you go back if you don't want to." The pendragon shrugged. She smiled at the drawing. Adathiel had talents for lock-picking and tracking, but not for drawing. ::*::
