Timestamp: Day 40 Tessera (Autumn), 81379 Time of Day: 6pm Location: Panic Room Character: Chzyuak (link is in Sig) Clothing: Blue halter top, Black jeans with blue stars along the seams, a pair of tall black boots. Chzyuak walks up to the door, smiles at the bouncer, and quickly walks inside. She heads over to the main bartender, and starts speaking with him. "<span style='color:purple'>Hi I am Chzyuak, I know that you are probably going to tell me no but, I figure that is worth a chance. I was wondering, that if I could possibly practice my telekinesis over in a corner</span>." The bartender raises an eyebrow at her,"What exactly do you mean practice?" "<span style='color:purple'>Well, I want to practice lifting a table and holding it up in the air....</span>" He looks at her, and sighs. "Fine. Over there." She turns and looks where he pointed, and grins. She hurries over to the corner, which is almost always empty even when the rest of the place is crowded. She sits down, at the table, and concentrates. In a moment she is up in the air, along with the table. She laughs to herself, and watches others start to enter.
character x http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=496Nene Muqu</a> Nervously, the small feydragon fluttered up to the bouncer in front of the Panic Room and straightened out the collar of his gray shirt. The bouncer coughed politely and somewhat expectantly, frowning down at Nene until he finally realized he had to show his student ID to be admitted to the club. He blushed and dug around in his pocket, eventually producing his card and showing it to the heavy pendragon, who gladly stepped aside and motioned in the door. The fey entered the hall and surveyed the crowd, which was small but rapidly growing. Nothing too interesting here... except... was that a floating table? Nene blinked at the hovering piece of furniture, flying slowly towards it with a quizical, disbelieving stare. Even more to his surprise, he saw a 'dragon sitting on one of the floating benches! As he got closer, he realized it was a fey, and female. He landed lightly on the bench across from her. "Excuse me... is this table supposed to be floating?" he asked skeptically.
Chzyuak grinned. "Well, techinically no but, the head bartender said ok when I told him I just wanted to practice my telekinesis. Besides I don't run the risk of being ran over up here." She pauses, and takes a drink of her coke. "I am Chzyuak, who are you?" She moves a little to the music but, carefully keeps the table and chairs balanced.
Nene felt the sway of the furniture at Chyzuak began to move with the beat, and held on for fear he'd slide off and fall into the crowd. Carefully climbing down and taking a seat, he folded his gossamer wings behind his back and gazed curiously at the fey. It wasn't often he saw another of his kind, and especially one so... pretty. He blushed at the thought, but fortunately the pink tinge couldn't be seen through his gray fur. "I'm.. Nene," he answered slowly.
Chzyuak concentrates, and the table stops moving, although she continues to move a little. "Nene it is nice to meet you." She looks across the table at him, and realizes he is looking at her. She feels her concentration, starting to leave. "Hold on I am lowering us." She quickly lowers the table, and the benches before, she loses her concentration. "Sorry, I couldn't keep the table up there any longer." She giggles, when she looks at the head bartenders face. "I think the bartender guy, is a little more relaxed also." She watches as the waiters and waitresses move around, not paying attention to them. "Are you wanting something to drink? I have a sure fire way of getting someones attention. I learned it earlier today in class." She feels as if she is babbling but, this is one of the first male dragons, around her age that she has met.
As the table was lowered to the ground, Nene let out an audible sigh of relief. His nervous grip on the bench was released, and he folded his arms across the tabletop in a relaxed manner. Oddly, people and waitstaff still seemed to swarm around them as if nothing peculiar had happened. Had no one noticed the floating table? Still no heed was paid to the pair. "Sure..." Nene responded to Chyzuak's question, although it hadn't yet dawned on him that he was thirsty. He was interested in seeing the fey's attention-grabbing technique, though, and he was also glad for any event that permitted him to not speak. He was quiet by nature, and always felt more comfortable the less he spoke in social situations. "What's your surefire way?" he asked, only mildly afraid of the answer.
Chzyuak grinned. She stared at her empty glass, and raised it up in the air, and carefully carried it over to the bar, and set it on the counter. Another dragon turned, looked, shook his head and turned back to the bar. Sure enough a waitress immediately walked over. Chz smiled, "I would like a iced coconut mocha please." She looked over at Nene to see what he was going to order. She smiled. "I told you I had a sure fire way. This waitress purposely waits everytime that I am here." She giggles after she says it. "They allow me to do it as long, as I promise not to break anything."
Nene watched in awe as the glass floated through the air, gliding across the room to settle on the bar. He almost applauded for the show of talent, but after raising his hands realized this might be a bit overreactive of him. He folded his arms back together on the tabletop and watched the waitress walk over, sure enough. "I'll have... apple juice, please," he told her when she asked for his order. He liked apple juice a great deal, and couldn't think of anything more mature that he'd like. "That's a good trick," he told Chyzuak with a smile. "I bet I can do something startling, too," he wondered, holding out a forefinger and watching the electrical sparks jump from it. He was an electrokinetic, and as such, could make 'dragons quite startled. Turning around to face the crowd of club-goers, he raised his right hand quickly at a blue-furred pendragon nearby. Instantly the arden's mane and tail exploded into thick frizz, each hair standing on end. The fey giggled quietly as the pendragon looked around wildly, trying to figure out what had happened. "Behold the power of static electricity!" Nene warned the thill with a grin.
Chzyuak, watched and clapped her hands over her mouth, trying to keep her laughter to herself. She said in between laughter,"Oh that is great but, probably shouldn't do anymore of that. We after all are the smallest ones in here." She took a drink of her coffee, and grinned.
Nene nodded thoughtfully, sipping his apple juice. "Yes, but we can fly ourselves to safety!" he responded, unfolding his delicate insect wings. He gave them a demonstrative flap, and as they swiftly beat the air their filmy surfaces caught the colored lights in the room and glowed with irridescent hues.
Chzyuak took another drink of her coffee, and nodded in agreement. "True we can fly to safety. So, uh do you go to school at the Academy?" She looks around the room, listening to the music.
Nene folded his wings once more, the four ovalesque appendages coming together neatly like a gauzy cape down his back. "Yeah, I go to the Academy," he said with a hint of confusion. "Don't you? I thought you had to be a student to get in here. I could be wrong, though." And I probably am, he added mentally, looking around at all the full-sized pendragons in the club.
Chzyuak smiled, slightly red in the face. "Yes, I go to the Academy. I thought anyone could get in here, oh well." She looks down at her cup, having no idea what to say or do next.
"Well, I mean, I dunno. I never really follow the rules anyway, so how should I know them?" he laughed quietly. Noticing the awkward silence, he glanced down at the table, watching his apple juice sitting there innocently next to his hand. He picked up the glass and took a sip. "So, um... I guess telekinesis must be one of your trades. Do you have a secondary?" he asked, fishing for a conversation.
Chzyuak looked up and smiled. "My secondary trade? Oh yeah sorry, is it Pyrokinesis. What is yours?" ooc: Sorry for crummy post
ooc x It's fine. xD ic x Nene nodded sagely at Chyzuak's answer. Such was the way of the feydragon - they were very gifted in elemental kinesis and other powers of the mind, and this was often reflected in their trades. "My primary trade is Electrokinesis, as I'm sure you could see," he smiled, "my secondary is Elemental Kinesis, and my tertiary is Machina Tech. It's a passion of mine, but I'm not really very good at it," he admitted, his smile turning to a slight frown.
Chzyuak looked at him and smiled. "Having a passion for something, is better than not having one at all." She gave a shy smile. "So, do you come here often? I do occasionally when I am not completely exhausted from my classes."
Nene shook his head, causing his wavy crimson locks to rearrange themselves about his face. "No, this is actually my first time here. I don't normally do so well... around..." he paused, and decided against finishing his statement. "Well, nevermind. So is there anything to do around here besides drink non-alcoholic beverages?" he asked curiously, purposely avoiding the thought of dancing. It made him shiver. He wasn't even sure his body moved in any more complex patterns than walking and running.
Chzyuak felt her face redden. "Well, yeah there are other things you can do but, err uhh yeah...." She looks around, and her eyes brightened. "Have you ever played a game called pool? I keep hearing about it but, I have never tried it before. I have figured out that there are tables over there." She points in the direction of the pool tables.
"Oh," Nene said in surprise. His white-rimmed eyes opened widely with excitement. "Why yes, I've played pool. Billiards, we call it where I come from," he smiled. His father had been somewhat of a billiards wizard, and the young arden had fortunately inherited some of his keen eye. "Would you like me to teach you how to play?"
