Out of Character

Mia 1st 81382 Tyolt & Suro

Crunch crunch The leaves crackled underneath dark-blue footpaws as the sun was setting over the trees. The night was quiet, sounding only as creatures settled into their holdings for the night. The last rays of the sun played off Tyolt's brick red hair, giving it an astral glow. The wind that had diminished long before gave one last gust a howl through the trees. It seemed like the whole wood shivered, or was it just her? Kicking a rock with her worn feet she trudged on. The water, it was so beautiful. Its blue depths glistened with the reddish hues of the sun. All at once the 5 foot figure stopped. Clasping her hands into the jacket for warmth she sat down a meter or so from the waters edge. This is where we met... Huddling, her knees pressed against her breasts, she had wished she had worn something warmer then the shapely jeans and t-shirt. The jacket was old and familiar but in no shape warm. Closing her eyes she leaned back and took in a breath, calming her cold quivers. Squinting, she opened her eyes to peer at the sky. The stars were just starting to show on one side of the darkening sky. Smiling she pictured Suro's face. She let out a chuckle in remembrance. A momentary happiness filled her with warmth. She was surprised she could pick out such detail on his face after so long. Had it been a almost a year now? Yes. Yes it had. An inquisitive look overcame her as something seemed a little too real about her vision.
The wind was a bit sharper than usual that evening. It was hardly effective though. After spending seasons in a place where it snowed more than half of the time, this wind felt like a broken air conditioner on a Mid-Tria afternoon. His eyes blinked as he picked petal after petal from his seat in the top of the tree. He found the flowers surrounding close by this same tree. It's petals flaunted a deep blue color with slivers of bright red around its edge. The setting sun made the flower petals' red outlines stand out in his hand. They looked sharp, but felt very soft and frail in his fingers. Just like her. The coming of twilight reminded him of why he was there. Sure, he came back with some Khasi in his pocket, but that wasn't everything. That whole thing about money not buying happiness was actually true. It did make a number of things better. He could finally go on in life with some sort of purpose instead of just fooling around. Even better though was that he'd be able to see everyone he left behind again. Veja, Khaz, Tyolt.. There wasn't a day that went by without some sort of memory of her. Even though they spent only a little time together, they got really close, really fast. From the day they saved her to the last winter when he left. It seemed to go so fast while his work in the Southern Hemisphere was so long. Time really does fly when you have fun. All these weird sayings started whispering into his ear. He always liked the stories the Elder told him as a kid, but he never really gave them any real thought until now. Life just didn't have enough meaning back then. It does now, or at least it will. I know she'll be here. He couldn't resist coming to this tree. They met here years ago. And last year, this is where he left her. It was almost as if the tree had something to do with it. He was sure that she'd be here to meet with him. No, not him, with the tree. The tree must've been her only love while he was gone. In fact, the memories he had with her were almost all by the tree. Were they in love with the tree? He laughed in his head. Now, he's getting psychological. It would've distracted him longer if his target didn't arrive at that point. Her red hair moving in the wind gave a nice blend of color to the entire area. It complemented the orange and red shines of the lake water. She was just like the flower he held in his hand. As she sat there under the blanket of branches, his heart started beating faster. There she was, a whole year older, he couldn't just.. drop down on her. What kind of entrance would that be? Unconsciously, he started picking the petals off of the flower. One.. two.. three.. they slowly fell down from the tree. He wanted to surprise her somehow but he lacked the ability to move at that point. Four... Five... Six... Seven... the petals began to escape the many branches and reach the floor. Eight.. Nine... Ten.. Eleven...She loves me. The flower had no more petals on it. They had fallen down on her head and it seemed like she noticed him. She was smiling as if her heart felt so much comfort in just looking up at him. Looks like his surprise backfired. Maybe she also expected him to be there. Uh... hey... Fancy running into you, huh? He had no idea what to say at that point. He stood on the branch with arms out motioning his fingers to tell her to come up. Maybe she could say something better than he could.
Out of Character

Oh, Just to let you know. i Re-wrote Tyolt's profile and will be adding it soon. Though I'm going to try to come up with a better History. Going to be somewhat the same but better written hopefully. And maybe less emo. XD

Looking up into that familiar blue face: Those sparkling speckled eyes: His dark red hair - Did that flustered sentence come from her vision or was she just imagining it? Wiggling her nose in confusion she paused. He had outstretched his arms to her... Realization struck her features as her bright yellow eyes grew wide. She scuttled backwards on her hands and feet as if fright gripped her. Looking inquisitive still, her medium blue ears perked forward, the color of her fur seeming to lighten in that instant. "Suro?" Even without letting him answer her claws extended to grip the bark as she bounded up to his perch. She was on him in a second, hugging, kissing and asking questions faster then he could make a noise: Or caution her to stop wiggling the thick branch. "SURO! Your home! How was work? How have you been? Have you been eating well? Oh i love you! I'm so happy to see your back!" Pausing for a minute, her groomed red hair draped over her shoulders, her mood dropped. "Please don't leave. Not for that long. Ever again. At least take me with you! You don't know how much i missed you..." She hadn't realized that she had pushed him down onto the branch in those split seconds that emotion had overcome her. Her heart was beating so fast she could now hardly string two words together with that excessively loud pounding in her ears. Letting out a purr she nuzzled his cheek. Sitting back up on the branch closer to the trunk, she blushed, embarrassed at her own actions. "Sorry bout pushing you down like that." Smiling that sweet smile of hers and tried hard to contain her raging emotions. She was so filled with joy she wanted to burst. Wiggling on her haunches in anticipation she waited for answers, a story and maybe some more kisses~
Out of Character

I have yet to rewrite my characters @_@; I'm going to do one every day or so or something. I'll start on Suro when I have time

She was just how he remembered her. Graceful, strong, and warm. She still wore her emotions on her fur. He was more or less expecting a bit more of an attack instead of a tackle, but this was a much better outcome. Suro really needed to stop thinking in terms of worst-case-scenario. She was on top of him, giving all the love that she was holding in for an entire year. It was hard to breathe with her kissing him and then asking a question every second, but it was one of the best feelings he had in a long time. He could do little else than stroke her hair with his hand. As the sun's light on the horizon dimmed, Tyolt also began to slow down. Suro looked at her as she turned darker. She almost looked afraid. "Don't worry," Suro replied, combing through her hair, "I've done what I had to and now I'm here to stay." There wasn't much else he could've said. His time in 'isolation land' made him a man of fewer words. That was a trait, however, that he expected to wear off after a few days. Suro sat up as she propped herself against the tree. He looked at Tyolt for a few seconds. She had grown a bit since he last saw her. Her hair seemed longer, her body was more trim. He even thought her breasts got bigger. Suro blushed as he thought back to meeting her bathing in the pond that day they met. He rubbed his head as if he could still feel the pain from the rock Tyolt through at him. She doesn't read minds, right? It wasn't time to daydream though. The woman that he dreamed of for the past year was in front of him. Suro moved in closer to her and embraced her. felt as if she was trembling. He couldn't tell if she was that excited to see him or if she was just cold. "You're even more beautiful than I remember", he said as he looked into her piercing yellow eyes reflecting the last rays of sunlight. As Suro found himself at a loss of words, he moved in and kissed her lips. It felt like waking up into a dream. A really good dream. "It feels good to be back home..."
She hadn't been so happy in such a long time. In such a brief moment she took in everything. The last bit of a glow in the sky from the dieing sun only made way for the serene moonlight. His hair and fur wavered in the breeze. His eyes brimming with life and joy. Her chest swelled as she felt emotion surge through her in immense waves. Her eyes brimmed with tears and a warm, loving smile spread across her lips as she gracefully embraced him, holding him as close to her as she possibly could. "It's so good to have you home..." She said in response, nuzzling her muzzle into his shoulder. She didnt want to let him go, ever. Bringing her face back only slightly to lick his cheek, she gazed into his eyes, her own underlined with a playful look. "And you, my love, are ever more handsome." At that, she was out of words. She wanted to know so much but to put words to those questions would only land her the red face of embarrassment. Leaning back she ran a paw through her hair, pushing the strands to rest behind her perked ears. She was so intently lost in his gaze that she momentarily lost track of the world around them. All at once she felt like the support beneath her had vanished. Coming back to reality she grasped her perch to steady herself. "Eheh. We should, get down out of the tree. Slowly, she moved to the trunk hopped off the branch, stumbling a little as she landed but still looking graceful as she did. Lifting her wings she stretched out with a small grunt, back arched and paws to the sky. With a sigh she relaxed again and turned her body slightly towards Suro. Would you like to walk somewhere? I know a nice place where we could grab some coffee... Maybe catch up a little?" When he was back on the ground she almost skipped to him, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissed her ever so deeply. Her warm fingers parted his hair at the nape of his neck, caressing him. Breaking the kiss slowly, she nuzzled his nose with hers. "Want to go?"
Being in her arms like this was just what he needed after being lost for so long. There was no analogy to think of, it was a truly incomparable feeling. As they held each other, gazing into each others' eyes, Suro thought that he could stay like that for the whole night. Her golden eyes stood out more in the quiet darkness. It seemed like she didn't have any objection towards staying in that position either. The tree, however, did. Suro heard two snaps coming behind him. Suro used his wings to hover himself a bit over the branch as Tyolt moved back and hopped off the branch. Fine. You win this time... Tree. Suro thought that if he was any younger, he would've fallen from dull reflexes. All that work really did pay off, after all. Suro watched as Tyolt slowly moved down to the ground. She looked like she tripped on a rock when she landed. He laughed a little to himself. She may have gotten older, but she's still the same pendragon he used to know and love. As he hovered down, he gave out a small yawn. As he stretched out his arms and jawbones, he slipped on a rock when he reached the ground. Before Suro could react to his own ironic turn-of-events, Tyolt came to his rescue as she embraced and kissed him. He was caught well off-guard, but was thankful that she could save him from a more embarrassing fate. Getting hit by a rock was less shameful than tripping over one. It was probably the same rock from before. All those thoughts vanished as soon as their eyes met again. It was hard to turn away from a powerful gaze like hers. It pulled him in. "Want to go?" He didn't get to hear where she wanted to go. The sound of his yawn in his ears muffled out her words. Suro turned to look at the tree. A sole trisk stared back at him close by on one of the branches. You must be looking for love too. He looked back at Tyolt reattaching the tips of their noses. Sure. I'm getting a bit too nostalgic standing in the shade of this tree. Anywhere is fine. He took her hand from his face and laced it with his own fingers. Lead the way, love.
He was really home. She couldn't help but smile an overjoyed grin at the fact that she wouldn't find herself waking up in the night hugging her blankets or the air, thinking it was really him in her dreams. Quite a few nights she had woke herself up when her dreams turned particularly horrific. Stress and sadness had always caused her mind to over react and in turn left her tossing and turning in kaleidescope dreams. As they walked towards the edge of the forest darkness had finally settled in. All she could see was Suro's silhouette and his eyes reflecting what little light there was. Letting her fingers gracefully slip loose from his she slipped her arm around his back, pulling herself into the crook of his arm. She could feel the heat from his body, his heartbeat, his breath... She had so missed him. Crooking her neck up a little bit to see his face she nuzzled his chin. "I Love you..." After walking in the dark along a path for a while, light began to show through the trees. The lights shone an almost eerie blue-purple casting weird shaped shadows over the trees, making you feel as if you were being watched. Even through the feeling of eyes on you the place had a amicable feel. They came to an ornate arch with vines circling the delicate black iron rods. "It's a little out of the way from the rest of the town but it's a very relaxing place to be. It may be a little... Feminine." She walked through the arch to a small yard. Two person tables were set outside on the lawn surrounded but floating orange orbs used as candles. Tyolt took a deep breath and let it out with a content sigh. Just as she had let the breath loose a Niotie walked up in quite the immaculate outfit. She was wearing a white blouse with gorgeous embroidered pastel green vines that defined her curves. Her orange red hair was tied in a ponytail at the side and hung over the front of her shoulder. "Hello. Welcome to the Silk Vine. For two?" The Niotie asked inquisitively. Tyolt nodded and requested an outside table off to the corner. Her yellow eyes drifted to Suro quickly then turned back as the pendragon lead them to their table. The cafe building itself was snugged nicely into the back center so that there could be business indoors for those who got cold easily. Tyolt was cold but she wished to be outside rather then stuck indoors. Its was, lets just say, almost frilly inside. She wouldn't drag Suro into that. Even she was a little disturbed by it. It was definitely a thills paradise. Many pendragon came as couples here to sit outdoors in the evening to look up at the stars. Tyolt glanced upwards to see an almost full moon piercing the darkness of the sky. She hadnt noticed the moon much while Suro was gone. With him, she appreciated the quaint little things she noticed while in his company. Her mind was more alert with him at her side: Mostly because she lacked words to say quite often, and needed a subject to talk about. I wonder what he's thinking...
Feminine? Oh boy... He felt a slight breeze up his spine as they walked through the trees. He still didn't know exactly where she was taking him. A spa would be.. interesting. But what if it's a... Nah... She wouldn't take me to a place like that. Would she? Suro made a mental note to never yawn loudly again. "Uhh... Don't worry, it's fine. I haven't done much of anything since I got back." Suro hoped for something that wouldn't make him regret his words. Suro was happy that it was just a cafe. As they reached their destination, he let out a small sigh of relief. It was an interesting moment because they both sighed simultaneously. Tyolt didn't seem to notice it too much as she dealt with one of the workers of the cafe. The niotie escorted them to their table and they both sat down. The atmosphere was quite refreshing. It was a nice, seclusive spot with serene lighting and a beautiful view of the sky. The setting was truly amative. Suro watched Tyolt as she looked up at the starry sky. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" Suro looked scanned the moon and stars. "It's funny, really. How the moon seems so much larger than everything else in the sky, yet the stars are so much bigger than this planet. All those little dots are just as big as Redveja, maybe even bigger, but the biggest thing we can look at, is smaller than everything else." Suro laughed at himself a little. It wasn't like him to ramble on about something so trivial. His little business trip must've changed the way he saw things. "I sound like one of those existential freaks. I don't think I've ever really found them so interesting before. I guess that's what happens when you don't look at them for so long. The stars. It snows almost all the time down there. Just clouds and snow. There's not much to waste time on, so I've had a lot of time to think about things. Actually, I think I've been thinking a lot more than I used to."
Out of Character

Sorry for not posting sooner. I wasn't feeling that great the last couple days. And eww, i had Grad photo's today. Lol. I was there for like a half hour getting pictures done lol.

Tyolt chuckled with him at his little tirade. She so enjoyed little rants people went on. It let her into their inner workings, letting her know how they felt at the moment. reaching across the table she took his hand in hers, gently rubbing her thumb across the side of his paw in a sign of understanding. "I haven't had much of a reason to look at the sky while you've been gone. It always seemed to be something we did together, we always made comments about it. I haven't flown much either. I've had the incredible urge to walk for some... Odd reason." There was a moment of silence all around. She closed her eyes and smiled as she listened to the sounds of nature. The trees rustling, the animals chittering as they settled in for the night. Little insects made, almost like the dim lights in the yard, a luminescent sort of sound. It sounded so melodic that she could get lost in its weaving notes. Opening her eyes once more she smiled a passionate smile at Suro. The reflection of the floating orbs made everything look so soft and gentle. She wished she could stay here and just look into his eyes all night in the serene surroundings. She listened intently to his voice, the tones and pitches, the words. She always payed close attention to what he said. "What have you been thinking about? Anything in particular?" Her words paled in comparison to her complex thoughts. She was taking in everything at once, completely calm and relaxed. She was also very relieved that he didn't find the place weird or too feminine for his liking. She loved this place and had come here often. She was friends with some of the weekend waitresses and busgirls. They were quite the loquacious but articulate bunch. They were some of the kindest people she had met and not just because it was their job. They were genuinely kind and that made business here that much better. Just as one of the waitresses swiftly came to their service, one of the busgirls ran across the yard, pulling her jacket on as she did. Tyolt knew the girl. She worked one of the weekend shifts in the afternoon,Rulka, she thought, was her name. The waitress saw Tyolt turning to eye the frantic girl as she ran through the arch and into the dark path. "Poor dear." The older woman said as she leaned back on her haunches, holding the two menus to her breast, head turned slightly to the arch. She turned back to the two at the table and put on a small sweet smile. "Can i get you two anything to drink?" She asked as she set the two menus out in front of them. Tyolt leafed to the inside of the back page to look at the beverages. "I'll just... Take a water please." Tyolt's eyes still wandered to the archway in slight confusion as she ordered. When the waitress had written what they wanted and had scurried back to the kitchens Tyolt let out a soft questioning noise. "I wonder what happened to Rulka." With nothing she could do anyway, Tyolt turned back to Suro.
In particular? Well, that's when it gets complicated. Suro tried to look back on what he did for the past seasons for an example. He knew that he thought of something, he just couldn't remember all of them. Well, for one thing, just life itself and how beautiful it is, y'know? When I was down there working on things, new machina technology and a whole bunch of weird advancements, I got to see a number of things. Machina that can make buildings by itself, things that allow wingless pendragons to fly... I could probably write a book on the things that I've seen in that.. Neurotech place. But I started wondering what would happen if everything was just 'that'. Making things and finding out how things work. Eventually, no one has the time to use anything because everyone's making things and learning things. There's no benefit if you can't utilize what you have. Some of the pendragons there really miss out on what life is really supposed to be like. That's why I can never be a scientist. Too boring. The engineering work is kinda fun though. I like to make stuff... but I also use them too. Sadly, he had no proof of his new skills in machinery. He'll find a way to show her what he can do. He could probably take her down there. But not now, Mia is too cold. Wait... it's the first day of Mia today. Then that means. Suro laced his fingers through hers. It was amazing how just looking at her made everything seem so less significant. He had also thought about her, quite a lot in fact. He left silently, without saying much about where he was going or what he was going to do. Was she waiting for him? Would she be angry? Maybe she'd find him and pop up as a surprise. That was a wish that never happened, but even still, they were there now. That was all that mattered. When a different niotie ran through the door, the mood shattered. The girl ran through the exterior like some invisible creature was chasing her. That can't be good. Suro turned back to the main building and saw a thill in front of the door with one hand on the glass door and the other hand on over face, shaking her head. She seemed slightly sad. Can I get you two anything to drink? Suro swung back around. There was a waitress there, ready to take their order. "Hmm," he said flipping through the pages of the menu. "I'll have a Dark Cocoa Tea, please. With a little bit of cream. Oh yeah.. and also. Suro whispered into the waitress's ear. Well, we'd love to do that... but our "singer" just ran out. She whispered back. That's okay. Just get it ready. The waitress nodded and shuffled back inside. As Suro turned back to Tyolt, Tyolt was still looking back at the arc where the girl ran away. "I wonder what happened to Rulka." A light bulb flickered in Suro's head and he had an idea. "Hm? She's a friend of yours? Suro scratched the side of his head trying to hide his smile. Hopefully, his plan will work. "I think we should go find out. From the way she ran out of here, I don't even think she went that far. She probably hid in a tree or something.
Out of Character

Lol had to backtrack here XD I got myself confused while writing this haha XD and man, i had a really hard time posting XD Theres not all that much i can do XD

Before Tyolt could even inquire deeper about his thoughts the waitress had come up and asked them to order drinks. After ordering and waiting on Suro, she had cocked her head to one side at him. What'd she say? Her Singer? With a raised eyebrow she appraised Suro with a confused look. "What was that about? And yes, i know her. We usually talk quite a bit when i come to lunches on the weekend." Glancing slightly to the archway she pondered a moment then turn back to Suro while pushing strand of brick red hair out of her face. "I would like to see if she's alright but is it really our buisness?" Wrinkling her nose in frustration and curiosity she didn't know weather to attempt to catch up to a panicked Pendragon or not. She would probably be a ways away by now no matter what Suro said about it. Rulka wasn't at all slow. She was one of the quickest and graceful workers at the cafe, really dedicated to her job. She hardly seemed like the one to trip and fall while running. The girls wings were not meant for flying but they added to the grace and gave her a "gliding" appearance when she worked. Why in the world she would of hid in a tree she didnt know and Suro's expression seemed to be a bit strained. What was he planning? "though, its not good for a girl to be out in the wood alone really. There have been some people that like to jump out and scare people walking on the trails. Their idea of a joke. Even so, people still come here. I've heard that the boss of the place has implemented some kind of system around the entrance of the place to watch for this stuff. I don't know. Maybe we should go see if she's okay..."
Out of Character

We might need to come up with some sort of sob story for this girl. Something that's bad enough to make her run out, but easy enough to make her come back. I can add a bit more later if we need to. But anyway, this is unfinished a bit. I'll write the rest later on tomorrow (which it technically today). Also 1337 post :p

Suro smiled. He could see that Tyolt was onto him but there was no way she knew what he was doing yet. It was going to be quite the stretch though. If they messed up and this Rulka girl didn't come back, the best part of his plan would fail. He was one-hundred-percent confident though. If he wasn't, he wouldn't try it so swiftly. "So, it's settled then?" Suro added a raised eyebrow to his smile. He was up to something and wasn't afraid to show it, but he did his best to keep it unknown for now. He raised up from his chair. "C'mon. Don't you want to help out a friend in need? We'll find her. Trust me." Suro walked over to Tyolt and helped her out of her seat. He gave a wink to the waitress from behind Tyolt's back and she gently nodded back as she walked back into the store. Suro kissed Tyolt on the cheek and held her hand. "By the time our stuff gets here, we'll be back." he reassured while they walked back through the entrance/exit.
