<font color='#A9BBBB'><center><b style=color:lime>Day ;[/b] 28th <b style=color:lime>Month ;[/b] Dyo <b style=color:lime>Year ;[/b] Year 2 <b style=color:lime>Character ;[/b] Ridalokii Syokum <b style=color:lime>Mood ;[/b] Eager <b style=color:lime>In Character..[/b] Ridalokii Syokum stood at the center of a large field, bordered on three sides by the Academy and on the fourth was a large forest. Beside her was a rather crude table, with uneven legs and a tilted surface. Atop the table sat a large cage, this of far grander construction, even adorned with a few precious stones. About a dozen small Trinthils ran amuck inside, climbing on the sides of the cage in their wild attempts to escape. It was of no use, though, as a massive padlock was set at the front of the cage. Each Trinthil had an odd collar around his or her neck, with something that resembled an earth air freshener hanging from it. Slipping a paw into the cage, Ridalokii scrawled something in black ink onto each tag. The normally vicious Trinthils cowered from the dark taloned paw and allowed it to fidget with their collars. Each tag now stated some sort of earthen scent; ranging from Strawberry to Java. Ridalokii sat down, first looking from all four sides of the field and then up to the sun, attempting to determine what time it was. <b style=color:lime>"Hmmn.. about noon.. the students aught to be arriving soon.."[/b] And so the femme sat and waited for her students, eager to pass down the knowledge she posessed.</font>
<font color='698AAB'>\\ Anezka Ylinari ¤ #1, Female, 900 ¤ Warrior (B) ¤ Escape Artist (B) \\ IC Anezka trots gaily through the grass, revelling in the fact that she was outside. Janardan was almost completely underground, save it's gardens and the stadium, so to have a class that meant being in the fresh air, was heaven to this little roving 'dragon. Djirus-like wings clutched tightly to her sides, she makes her way to the large cage, seeing the trinthil running about inside them, smlls wafting from their direction that were unlike normal smells of furry little creatures. An adult wasn't far off from the cage, so she walks 'round the table, assuming it was her teacher, <span style='color:#B69D85'>"You're Miss Ridalokii Syokum, the Tracking teacher, right?"</span> She'd memorized the name from her schedule sheet the night before.</font>

Teloi didn't really have tracking under his agenda but he had nothing else to do so he decided to give it a try. He started gliding down to the ground he still needed to get used to flying since he wasn't the best at flying so he almost crashed into a tree but he managed to stop just in time. As he looked over he noticed several Trinthils. <font size="2" color="sea green">"Hello my names Teloi how are you?"</td></tr></table></div></font>
<font color='#A9BBBB'><center>By now the teacher was laying on her side, staring into space with sheer boredom. She was so out of it that she had, infact, forgotten where she was. Apon realizing there were students waiting on her she hastily rose and regained her composure. Hearing her name she turned to the femme niotie and smiled softly. <b style=color:green>"That's m'name and task! And who might you be, young lady?"[/b] Her simple reply was not her at all, and if they hadn't been at the Academy she would have replied with something far more obscene and paranoid. But the fact was they were on the school grounds, in the lovely fresh air, away from the stuffy underground classrooms. And she had to put on her 'happy face' and be kind to the students. Simply because that's what's expected from a teacher. She couldn't be insulting her students, it would result in a loss of her job and a ruined teaching reputation. A voice from the direction of the woods stole her attention away from the first student and on to the next. She couldn't help smile at his not yet perfected aerial skills, and almost slipped and said something she shouldn't have. Clamping down on her tongue as if to discipline herself she forced an amiable grin to the wing-blessed male. <b style=color:green>"I'm fine Teloi.. and are you alright? Ye' nearly hit those trees! I'm Ridalokii Syokum.. Miss Syokum, if you will. I suspect you are another student of mine..?[/b] She hoped he was. Riddy never was one for small classes, whether she was a student or a teacher.</font>
<font color='698AAB'>A triumphant grin appears on Anezka's little face as the tracking teacher confirms her identity. <span style='color:#B69D85'>"I'm Anezka Ylinari, one of your students."</span> The bubbly child nods her head. Who would think a fighter loomed beneath her "sunshine and fluffy clouds" exterior? She tilts her head at Teloi, watching him for a moment. Then, always being one to enjoy meeting others, she smiles brightly, <span style='color:#B69D85'>"Hi!"</span></font>

<font color='#00FF00'><font color=gray face=verdana><font style="font-family:verdana; font-size:11px; line-height:11px"><span style=letter-spacing:-1px>Reveri certainly hadn't been anticipating this. The obsidian and silver male reclined nearby on raven haunches, head cocked to the side slightly as he observed this little meeting. It wasn't that there were students coming to the Tracking class, however, that had startled the male, it was a duo of other things. First off, they both looked younger then he. Which meant he was gong to look like quite the dork, with his age of a ripe ninteen hundred... Ramathian years, that was. In the years of humans, he was probably only two or three, but who cared about the earthen years, when the here and now was Ramath Lehi, and the years were judged in hundreds? It scared him, slightly, that he had supposedly lived so long. Shivering at the thought, Reveri focused instead on the second point that had surprised him. The teacher. He already knew Riddy. In fact, he had spent some of the day before with her. Thoughts flickered to the Korad that now sat relaxedly at his side, leaning against the sable flank of the pendragon. It was surprising, that Rauts had been so easy to tame into a likeable and, similarlly, loving pet. Both he and Riddy had claims on the youngster, however, and it was a dual ownership and raising of the young, formerly wild, Korad. Today he was keeping an eye on the youngster, and had been planning on doing some more serious training with the Korad today. Teaching him how to stay in one spot, and not dash after whatever caught his fancy. Aka, whatever was going to be tracked in the Tracking Class. Now, though, he was a bit unsure about approaching and announcing his part in the class, seeing as he already felt like a huge idiot for merely coming here, and entering a class with such young pendragons. Rauts made the decision for him, however, as the regal Korad sprung to his feet and dashed over to Riddy, suddenly recognizing the female pendragon. Reveri bit back a yelp of surprise as he padded after his pet. Tossing a sheepish grin at his fellow Rauts owner, the male tilted his head in a "fancy meeting you here" manner. Rauts leapt at Riddy, intending to nudge up against her and give her lots of slobbery Korad kisses. Or something to that effect, anyways. Rev looked at his fellow students with an inward sigh, and an outward smile and jovial nod to the pair. So these two were his fellow Trackers, eh? Perhaps he could convince Riddy to make him Asst. Teacher for the day, rather then give him the title of student. Then again, she might keep him student merely because it would be amusing. <font color=antiquewhite>"'allo there. 'm Reveri Silvent... and that is Rauts. Heh."</font> Head dipped and nodded towards Rauts as he spoke the Korad's name. Slipping to his haunches, the male fell silent, waiting.</font>

He wondered if maybe Korads would be the next "Pendragons Best Friend" since hes seen so many tamed. After that thought Teloi quickly snapped his attention back at Miss Syokum awaiting her next command. </td></tr></table></div></font>
<font color='#A9BBBB'><center>Rev's familiar face took her by surprise. Now this was going to be a problem. He had already been introduced to her 'real side'. Well.. there wasn't really one. More like.. mood swings. She gave him a curt nod and a slight grin, before going on. Continuing on with her lesson, she leaped atop the Trinthil cage and began to pace back and forth, introducing them to the class. <b style=color:green>"Welcome to tracking class, I will be your teacher, Miss Syokum.."[/b] Realizing she had already introduced herself she grimaced slightly, but continued, nevertheless. <b style=color:green>"I will be instructing you on how to properly track an array of different Fauna, and, perhaps if you advance quickly enough, we can get into Flora tracking. Flora tracking will require an abundance of patience and skill, which is why it will be left to the end of your learnings."[/b] Another grimace. How was she going to teach them how to track Flora? She had no clue of how to even begin; while tracking on her own she simply.. did it. Sub-conciously, almost. Ah, well.. she would figure out a way. <b style=color:green>"And now, onto your first lesson. In order to track you must be able to distinguish different scents. And that's where the Trinthils come in."[/b] She paused for a breath. It was going good so far.. right? <b style=color:green>"Each of you will get a Trinthil with a unique scent not usually found here on Ramath-lehi. Wou will release them into the forest, count to twenty, and then go after them. The scent is produced by the tag around their neck."[/b] Another pause as the femme pondered to see if there was anything she had left out. <b style=color:green>"..and don't worry about them hurting you; their teeth and claws have been dulled down for teaching."[/b] She dismounted the cage and released the padlock. Reaching in, she grabbed three of the creatures. They were still small, having yet to reach their adolesensce. After handing a chocolate scented one to Anezka, a raspberry one to Teloi, and finally a strawberry one to Rev, she ushered them all over to the 'threshold' of the forest. <b style=color:green>"Begin whenever you feel ready."[/b]</font>
<font color='698AAB'>Anezka, ushered towards the wooded area by their teacher, focuses, taking in the scent of her chocolate trinthil. Well, he wasn't exactly chocolate, rather the item dangling from his neck was. The smell should be rather easy to find, she figured. So, the child sets the trinthil near to the ground, and taking one last sniff, releases his rapidly spasming little torso. As soon as his feet hit the ground, he darts off into the brush. Anezka flicks both her ears forward, listening intently to where he's going. So focused was she, that she almost forgot to start counting. <span style='color:#B69D85'>"1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. 5.."</span> she mumbles under her breath, studiously restraining herself from getting visibly antsy, when she was practically climbing up a wall on the inside. <span style='color:#B69D85'>".. 17.. 18.. 19.. 20."</span> she finishes with a satisfactory grin, leaping off, immediately trekking into the woods after the creature, starting in the direction she'd last seen him go.</font>
<font color='#3BB9FF'><div align="center"><table border="2" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" width="70%" bgcolor="#000033"><tr><td width="90%"><font size="2" color="aqua">As Teloi was handed his Trinthil he was already taking in the smell as much as he could. The Trinthil started squriming a bit but he could handlt it. As he was about to put him down he took one more long wiff and let him go. He had to shove the Trinthil a little to get him moving and then he started counting <font size="2" color="aqua"> 1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10..11..12..13..14..15..16..17..18 ..19..20.</font> Now Teloi headed off he decided that if he coudn't pick it up he could fly up and skim the trees which would be much faster but right now he mainly ran picking up the scent and then losing it and picking it up again. </td></tr></table></div></font></font>
<font color='#A9BBBB'><center>Miss Syokum followed close behind her students silently, to ensure they weren't injured. A familiar wince. She had forgotten something, and quickly scurried back to the courtyard. She placed a disc into a record player of sorts and a booming, mechanical voice rang out. <b style=color:white>"You have 20 minutes remaining."[/b] Nodding to reassure herself, the teacher padded back into the forest. <b style=color:green>"You must catch your Trinthil before the timer runs out!"[/b] She kept an eye on the terrier sized beasts, making sure none of them escaped. Those things weren't easy to catch in the wild. Vicious little buggers. Until they get their claws and teeth filed. Then they're suitable for house pets, with the right training, that is. <b style=color:white>"You have 15 minutes remaining."[/b]</font>
<font color='#00FF00'><font color=gray face=verdana><font style="font-family:verdana; font-size:11px; line-height:11px"><span style=letter-spacing:-1px>Reveri quirked a brow in a "you have got to be kidding" manner. The strawberry scent was one he had grown up with, and the male had no qualms with confidently setting "his" Trinthil free. Rauts's nostrils flared, and he peered at the small creature, slowly setting one paw in the direction of the critter. Reveri glanced at the cub, and he instantly flicked an ear apologetically, flopping to his tummy on the ground. Rolling his eyes, Rev watched as the other two counted and dashed off to find that unique scent among the others out there. Why that would be so very hard, when, apparantly, there were no others like that in this space, made no sense to Reveri. Perhaps it was because it was a beginner's class? Rolling his shoulders, the lithe male quickly dashed after the Trinthril he had been given, nostrils flaring to inhale the scents as he passed. Speedy movements drew him to the hiding place of the small creature, and he quickly grabbed it, using powerful wings to fly back to Riddy, and Rauts. The Korad looked expectantly at Reveri, pleading eyes begging to be allowed to chase the strawberry scented creature. At Reveri's chiding glare, the cub dejectedly looked at Riddy, a similar look in his eyes. Except he wanted one that hadn't been let loose, to chase. After thinking about it, Reveri handed Riddy the Trinthril, slipping to ebony haunches once more. <font color=antiquewhite>"Dun' see what harm it would do to let him chase it, marm, if'n it's alright with you?"</font> He commented, smiling faintly at the 'marm', seeing as he wasn't sure what he was suppoed to call her when she was his teacher. It was almost laughable. Haha.</font>
<font color='#A255'>ooc// ignore this post if it's too late to enter. ic// shark was late. the more she tried to push this fact aside, the tigher it clung to her brain, taunting and gnawing on it. she was running across the courtyard, panting heavily, and almost tripped on her own legs in the scramble to reach the class, which had apparently already begun. "...20 minutes remaining." But she still had time! Pushing herself harder, she hoped that the teacher wouldn't turn her away. This was a class that she had been looking forward to. Skidding to a stop before the teacher, Shark stopped to catch her breath. The niotie looked slightly disheveled, dirt and scrapes littering her messed fur. She quickly attempted to smooth out her pelt and otherwise make herself a little more presentable, then apologized quickly, still panting, "I'm.. so sorry, Miss... I'm a student.. in this class..." Shifty eyes caught sight of the others taking off after something. Damn, it looked like class had already begun...</font>
<font color='698AAB'>Anezka keeps her wings closer as she moves quickly, low to the ground. She wasn't low because she was hiding, but rather, following the cone of scent the chocolate-scented trinthil left behind. She dips her nose under a bush, and seeing nothing, continues in the path it was moving. She flicks an ear as she hears the mechanicaly voice shout fifteen minutes remaining, but remains focused. This trinthil was certainly a hyper little bugger.. he's already moved farther than she could hear! Or.. perhaps he was staying still.. Anezka ignores the scent of the others' trinthil, wafting on the gentle breeze in her direction, picking up only her own chocolate. Tracking. She was supposed to be tracking, correct? Anezka looks down at that thought, following the scent, but also now looking for any disturbance in the ground. ... It all looked like disturbance! How was she supposed to pick out only the trinthil's track? A noise in the bushes ahead and to the right call her attention. The chocolate smell was strong, and the niotie grins triumphantly. She found him! Anezka bounds forward, lacking stealth and poise, she just barrels on in. And scares the living daylights out of her trinthil. He takes off like a shot, and Anezka can't help but giggle. But now he was in her sights, and being both bigger and having longer legs, she easily overcomes him. Using her wings as a cage, she envelops the trinthil and picks him upwith her paws. Not knowing how much time she had to spare, she clutches the squirming trinthil to her chest, and takes to the air; climbing some parts of the trees with her free limbs, until she breaks free ot the canopy and swoops back over to the cage awaiting her in the courtyard. Dropping to the ground lightly, Anezka extends the trinthil to Miss Syokum, breathing heavily, but giddily, the child reports; <span style='color:#B69D85'>"Caught him: here he is!"</span></font>
<font color='#3BB9FF'>Teloi was to distractracted by his own tracking that he barely heard the 20 minutes left on the speaker. But even if he did he didn't mind he was already nearing his rasberry scented Trinthil he got so close it was as if he could taste it. Looking down he saw movement in the nearby bushes he could tell this was his trinthil. Slowing his pace to just a mere trot he lunges at the bush. He could feel the trinthil squirm under his claws but coudn't get away. Teloi put the trinthil iin his jaws and started climbing a tree.Once he broke free of the canapy he noticed another Nioti which went by the name of Anezka had the same idea. Feeling the wind beneath his wings he decided it was time for take off and as he was over Miss Syokum he swooped down and landed neatly on the table. Putting down his trinthil he said <font size="3" color="sea green">"Heres the little bother, he wasn't really hard to catch"</font></font>
<font color='#A9BBBB'><center><b style=color:white>"..10 minutes remaining."[/b] The voice boomed once more, alerting the students of the remaining time frame. Miss Syokum was back at the center of the field now, confident in the beginner skills of her students. Her head was moving in monotonous pattern; up and down, up and down, watching the nioti's bob and weave and fly after their prey. She was quite pleased with herself, so pleased that she had fallen into a slight state of bemusement. The late ones voice took her by surprise. <b style=color:green>"Hmmn..? Ah, another student. I'm Miss Syokum, the teacher. An' it's quite alright.. just take this little fellow, let him into the forest, count to twenty.. no.. ten; you'll have less time than the others.. oh.. just count to fifteen. Then go after 'im and bring him back to me. Got it?"[/b] Not waiting for a reply, she grabbed a blueberry scented Trinthil and handed it to her newest student. <b style=color:green>"What did you say your name was?"[/b] Again, she didn't wait for a response, but continued on, urging him over to the forest. As the two others returned, she nodded in approval. <b style=color:green>"Nicely done, both of you. Put them back in the cage, but remember which one was yours. We'll be using them again once your new classmate finishes."[/b]</font>
<font color='#A255'>Shark breathed a sigh of relief, and gratefully took her little bugger. After briefly holding the wriggling trinthil close to her muzzle and intaking the tart blueberry smell, she dropped him. He stared at her for a second, dumbfounded, but took off at high speeds once she gave him a kick on the bum to get the little guy started. "1, 2, 3, 4...." Her eyes were squeezed shut, as she figured there would be no real 'tracking' otherwise. "...14, 15!" Shark was off faster than her target, not wanting to lose anymore time. In fact, she had to conciously slow down and think once she was a ways off. Nose quivered cautiously, and all of the distinct scents came in faint whiffs, all so very tempting... But there was one particular one riding the breeze, it smelled the freshest, and most familiar. Head inclining slightly, she easily caught where it had been strongest and headed off in that direction. She slinked along rapidly, head held low, long tail curving down and up, ending with a blade poised in a scorpion position. The scent was slowly dissolving, but the more she pressed on, the fresher it seemed. However, it suddenly came to a brief halt, and her nose met with empty air. Puzzled, she glanced around her. He couldn't have just evaporated. Then, eyes settling on the ground before her, a curious 'ripple' caught her attention, as if one had skidded and leaped quickly to the side. Looking to her left, Shark noted some long grass in a strip. Body locking down into the lowest position possible, she crept silently forward, making virtually no vibrations. Sure enough, lying just within her farthest reach was the tawny critter she sought, and at the very moment that he turned to look behind him, she pounced. After proudly snatching him up in her sharklike teeth, she trotted back the the students, satisfied, and hoping that she hadn't wasted too much time. In her search for the trinthill, Shark had paid little attention to the speaker.</font>
<font color='698AAB'>Anezka nods, bubbly as ever, and very staisfied with herself. Reaching up, she pulls off the padlock, and quickly swings open the door just enough that she can slip her chocolate-scented trinthil inside. She slams the door shut, seeing as the rest were still quite antsy, and looks to Teloi, for his. She wasn't going to be rude and lock the door just as he was about to put his trinthil away, so she holds the door shut, yet unlocked, waiting for his reaction.</font>
