    Normal Clothes

It was packed at the Black Markets. Ardans were buying and selling and it was
so noicy, you'll cover your ears as soon as you entered. One young ardan had
a map for all over Bhim. "Now I should be here." He put his right index finger
on the location of the map he thinks he's at. "And I have to go there." He
pointed on the location he had to go to. He walked into the Black Markets,
seeing other ardans selling and buying. The atmosphere in the Black Markets
was unplesant with loud noice "Now if the map is correct, I should be in the
Black Markets and the place I'm looking for should be...."
    Not watching where
he was going, he bumped into a big white ardan. Pendzez wondered, I saw him
    somewhere.
He looked at the face of this white 'dragon, "Mister... Reatuf"

Professor Reatuf felt the jolt as he collided with something, but having not been paying too much attention himself, he had to straighten the glasses on his snout before he was able to get a good look at what had caused him to almost drop his most recent purchase.

He was glad to see it was someone young, not some crime lord that was ready to smash him to pieces, but he knew he should have known the name to the face he was looking at, he was a student. “Oh, Pendzez, sorry ‘bout all this." He said, the name coming to him at the last minut, feeling a little embarrassed to have run into someone he knew.

“Do you, ah…have business here?" ‘Business’? What, was he talking to a business man? He kicked himself mentally for the terrible sentence, guessing he was a little more flustered then he thought from the little run-in.

  3. He picked up his map he dropped. Gripping it tight so he doesn't lose it. He
looked up at Mr. Reatuf. “Do you, ah…have business here?" Pendzez
shook his head. "No, I'm just looking for something. Actually it's more of a
    place."
He pointed on the map the place he was going to. He handed the map
to Mr. Reatuf. "Do you know where it is?" He put his hands in his pockets
because they were a bit chilly.

  4. [Sorry. Miss-post. Ignore this.]

  5. He willingly took the map from PendzezÂ’s hands, still a little thrown off by the fact that he had ran into someone he knew, but wanting to help a student none the less. He held the map up a little closer to his face and looking to where the nioti pointed to. He repositioned his spectacles numerous times, from lifting them off his snout to bringing them closer to his eyes, he was rather knew to the whole concept of wearing glasses and had no idea how comedic his actions looked.

“Oh yes, I see now. I can see where you probably went wrong, this side street here can be very easy to miss." He informed him, pointing to an area close to where Pendzez was trying to get to. “I could help you get there if you’d like, it should only take a few minutes." Saying this he discreetly slid his purchase into a messenger bag that hung at his hip, hoping no one would notice and gave back the map to the youngster.

  6. Pendzez shook his head, "No, that won't be necessary. Thanks anyway." He gripped the map, looking at Mr. Reatuf. "I just wanted to know if I was going the right way, thats all. Thanks for your help." He walked off until he bumped into a couple of thieves. He fell and some items that were stolen. He didn't know they were thieves so he yelled out, "Watch where you're going!!" He was then yelled at himself by a large ardan who accused Pendzez as one of the thieves. Pendzez was picked up by the neck.

<span style='color:gray'>"Give back what you stole, thief."</span> Pendzez struggled to be released from the grip. "I didn't steal anything. I swear." He then was thrown onto a counter and the ardan got a knife out. <span style='color:gray'>"Now you won't steal again."</span> Pendzez continuedto struggle himself free. "I told you, I didn't steal anything." Pendzez arms was about to be severed from his elbows by the knife.

  7. As the nioti walked away Kazul watched with concern, he really shouldnÂ’t be wondering these streets on his own, Kazul didnÂ’t even feel safe wondering these streets. And he was a good thing that he hadnÂ’t walked away, he saw as Pendzez ran into a couple of thugs (man, that boy really needed to learn to watch where he was going) then start to get heckled by another brut of an arden.

KazulÂ’s hand went to his chest, he couldnÂ’t believe what he was seeing, he wasnÂ’t a fighter. He was all around average, average build, average heightÂ… a little smarter then the next thug walking the street. He was finally able to get his body to start working with his brain as he took a few steps towards the counter that Pendzez had been pinned to, then tapping into his magic, he used his telekinesis to pull the knife of the large ardenÂ’s hands, causing it to float in the air above their heads. It was completely against his morals to use his power one another pendragon, so heÂ’d have to talk their way out of this one.

“Sir, please let go of the boy, he’s not a thief, I’m willing to vouch for him. He wasn’t really sure if he was getting through, so he put his hand on the man’s arm to make sure he was getting his attention. “Sir, you may notice you are not holding a knife anymore, the ‘dragon you are after went that way" Kazul nodded his head in the direction in which the thieves had run off in. “They’re the ones you’ll want to…talk too." He was sure the man’s real plans were to threaten them, but Kazul couldn’t stand violence and wasn’t about to suggest it too him.

  8. Seeing that Mr. Reatuf had the ardan's attention, Pendzez was relased from the grip. He walked over to Mr. Reatuf. "Thanks Mr. Reatuf." He turned to the ardan, which had something to say.

"Oh, look I'm sorry for inconvenience." Pendzez just stared at him. "Sorry? you nearly severed my arms, for Reda's sake." Pendzez stood in shock. "Uh oh, I shouldn't have said a God's name in vain."

  9. “Thank you sir." Seeing Pendzez’s little outburst Kazul placed his hands on the young noiti’s shoulders and steered him away from the large arden in hopes of avoiding another confrontation. As they walked away he released his power on the knife, letting it clatter down onto the counter. “Yes, well you can apologize you which ever god you feel like later, just keep walking for now." He smiled at the people who had turned to stare, trying to put the scene behind them.

He didn’t stop directing Pendzez forward until he felt like they were finally at a safe distance. “Well, that could have been disastrous. Now I don’t care what you say, I’m accompanying you to where you’re going. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself knowing I had let you go on alone." He looked around to get his bearings straight. “Okay, it should be this way." He said, starting to lead them down the street.

  10. Pendzez had no choice but to follow Mr. Reatuf. "If you insist." He followed Mr. Reatuf to a corner when the same thieves appeared again but this time, they weren't being followed. They bumped into Pendzez and Mr. Reatuf. Not knowing that they were the thieves, Pendzez said this, "Watch where your going."

<span style='color:gray'>"Sorry about that. We will next time."</span> They walked past Pendzez then walked off. Pendzez turned back to Mr. Reatuf, but he felt that something was missing.
He checked his person but nothing was missing, except for one small item. His Sol Pendant was gone. He turned around and saw one of the thieves holding The Sol Pendant in his hand. He yelled, "HEY, GIVE BACK MY PENDANT!!"

  11. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class='ooc'><tr><td>Really sorry for the wait, I should be back up to speed now.</td></tr></table>

You have got to be kidding meÂ…, Kazul told himself as he watched the scene in front of him unfold. Vowing that heÂ’d never return to the Market any time soon.

The fact that the thief was holding the pendant in clear sight must mean they were rather new to the hold ‘stealing things’ lifestyle. And with Pendzez’s yell getting their attention, Kazul was able to use his telekinesis to slide from the thief’s hands and fly back towards them. He was relieved when the thieves walked off, if they really wanted anything from him, he wouldn’t stand a chance in a fight.

“’Kay, well, here’s your um… necklace." He said, giving the younger one the pendant back, but not really feeling like it was really safe. “You really need to keep your valuables close here. Now stay close, we’re going to take the next left, then look for a bright red sign and we’ll go to a road on it’s right. Just um… watch where you’re going." And with that he motioned for Pendzez to start walking again, hopefully they’d be able to avoid any further incidents.

  12. Pendzez started to follow Mr. Reatuf again. "Well, it's not the first.
Actually, to count, it was the 38th time."
    He explained to Mr. Reatuf
those things. They went left then got to a red sign.

"My Pendant has power, lots of it. I can tell you the story of the
Pendants origin, but now's not the time."
He walked to the sign, then
looked from left to right. He was trying to remember which way Mr. Reatuf.

"Which way now?" He asked Mr. Reatuf. He looked left, then the
    right again.

  13. Kazul wasnÂ’t overly sure what Pendzez was talking about now, was it the 38th time that his necklace had been stolen? It didnÂ’t really matter, so he didnÂ’t bother to ask to have it cleared up. He was feeling rather cautious, so his priority was check over his shoulder every few minutes.

He did however manage to catch the words “now's not the time." “Very true, I’m sure there will be a better opportunity some day." Seeing that they had gotten to the sign that Kazul had remembered from a few trips here years ago, he nodded his head to the right and indicated for the youngling to continue walking.

“So, where we are going, is there someone you know waiting for you? Will you be okay once you get in there?" It was going beyond his teacher duties, but he didn’t feel right leaving the boy wondering around on his own. If he needed someone to go in with him, he’d be willing too.

  14. Pendzez thought for a moment, then answered, "Well, yes and no... My uncle owns a medical store and I need to pick up some stuff." He felt uneasy explaining where he wanted to go. He didn't want anyone to know. "His medicines are the best in the world. His mother was the previous owner and was also had the best medicines. He's my dad's brother."

He then confessed, "No one knows that I have a family relative, not even the Academy knows." He then walked to where Mr. Reatuf was.

  15. Kazul watched the pensive look on Pendzez's face as he thought things over in his head, he could tell that he wasn't comfortable with the idea of telling the teacher everything. He felt no need to question this "stuff" he needed to pick up and believe that any relative would say their family had the best medicines in the world. He did start to wonder if Pendzez was interested in carrying on the family business.

"Why don't you want the Academy to know about your uncle? It would do any harm." He wasn't sure what would cause someone to be so secretive about a family member, he could understand if the arden was someone Pendzez didn't want to have anything to do with, but he was here to see him now, so that mustn't be the case.

They had walked down a little further and Kazul was feeling safer now that they had seemed to avoid any further conflict. He then spotted a building a little bit ahead of them. He didn't recognize it looked reasonable. "Is that the shop that you are looking for?"{/b] He asked while pointing forward.

  16. Pendzez looked down at the ground. "When I went back to Janardan, they asked me if I had any other family members. I said, <span style='color:gray'>'Only my 7 year old sister.'</span>" He looked at Mr. Reatuf in a sadish look. "I... joined a Clan and the leader wanted to keep family secret from the academy. It's a vow of the Clan."

Pendzez looked at the direction where Mr. Reatuf was pointing at. "Yep, that's it." Pendzez then started walking to the location.

  17. Kazul listened to the niotis’ story, his brain working to turn over all the facts, not sure if he should be concerned about this child joining a clan or the fact that they had secrets to keep. “Well it’s not my place to seek these secrets from you, but as a general warning from experience, secrets have a nasty was of coming out."

Walking towards the main door Kazul hesitated for a moment before taking hold of the handle and holding the door open for Pendzez. “Would it be rude of me to accompany you inside? I wouldn’t mind having a look around to see what’s for sale, if that’s okay with you."

  18. Pendzez looked at Kazel with his fire red eyes. "You right there, they hane a nasty way to get out. Shen would be furious if I broke the vow of the Clan. My father joined the same Clan before me." He then looked to see what was in front.

They got to the front door, which was locked. "My uncle locked it. He wrote in a letter that he'll be out today, so he gave me a key to the store. He wrote to me two weeks ago to see when I might come to the store, so I replied back saying I'll come on this day and he wrote back saying that he'll be out today so he gave me a key." He inserted the key into the slot then turned it and the door unlocked.

He opened the door and pulled the key out. "I don't mind if you come in." Pendzez held the door open for Kazel so he could walk in.

  19. Seeing that when he tried to open the door it only jiggled in place Kazul stepped back out of the way so that Pendzez could unlock it with the key between his fingers. With a click they were in. He nodded thanks to Pendzez who held the door open for him.

As he slipped into the dark store he ran his hand along the wall in hopes that he could find a light switch, but either his hand had missed it or he was looking in the wrong spot since the room remained flooded in shadows. He moved forward rather slowly trying not to bump into anything. However, it couldnÂ’t be avoided.

“Ouch." He exclaimed, rather mildly, not wanting to disturb the silence too much. He had stubbed his toe on something heavy sitting on the floor and took it for a sign that he should walk the other way

“Do you know where the light switch is by chance?"

  20. Pendzez walked into the room of darkness, not seeing a thing. He knew his tail flame wouldn't be enough to see. He lifted a paw, engulfing it in flame. He concentrated, making the flame come off his hand, turning it into an orb of fire. The orb started flying around, being careful not to burn anything. It lit up the store, so there would be some light.

"Now the light switch should be behind the counter." He walked to the counter, taking every step carfully. He climbed over the counter, landing on his feet carefully, so he didn't break anything that might be on the ground. He bent down to look for some switches. There were three. The first on for the store lights, second one for the back room lights, and the third one for the display lights.

He flipped the three switches and the lights came on. "Now that's better." He looked up at the orb, raising his right paw to hold his Sol Crest and said demandingly, "Dismissed." The orb was absorbed into the Crest. Pendzez looked at Kazel that was looking at the many different medicines that was on the shelves. "There are lots. From vaccines from medical plants to anti-venoms from the Florni Marei. I used to do some jobs for my uncle, before he moved premises, so if you wish to purchase something, just come and talk to me, ok?" He checked the prices of the medicines on a clip board that was in the small draw under the counter. "Oh, the prices are in Bhijans. Just in case you wanted to know."
